How I Built a $23K/Month Pinterest Affiliate Marketing Business (2026 Strategy)

Sara Finance23:11

Transcription

I make over $23,000 a month with Pinterest affiliate marketing, and I'm going to be revealing my brand new strategy that you can copy to also make thousands of dollars a month. I have never shared this publicly, and it's a gold mine that anyone can take advantage of right now to make upwards of $10,000 a month. So let's get right into it.

Now, let me give you a quick run through of how this strategy works. So essentially, you're going to create your own blog website, which is where you can share tips on different topics and promote your affiliate links, kind of like a digital journal that others can read. Promoting blog posts is huge on Pinterest; almost everyone is doing it. And for the longest time, I didn't focus on this, but about 6 months ago I tested it out, and it worked out extremely well. So now I want to put you on.

Here's an example of someone promoting their blog on Pinterest. They created a short post that says "how to save thousands of dollars in 2025." And if you click on it, you'll see I'm brought to their blog post, which shares a bunch of tips and promotes a ton of their different affiliate links. And on top of that, they also have a bunch of ads on their website, as you can see, which is another way you can earn an income aside from affiliate marketing. I'll be sharing more about that later in the video.

Now, I'm going to walk you through the seven step process I followed to make thousands of dollars a month with Pinterest affiliate marketing, so that you can copy me and start seeing results. Let's start with the first step, which is picking a niche that's both profitable and Pinterest friendly. Now, the most profitable and trending niches on Pinterest are home decor and DIY, recipes and cooking, fashion and beauty, health and wellness, and lastly, personal finance. I strongly recommend you choose one of these niches in order to have a high chance of success. Just make sure the niche you pick is something you're knowledgeable in and enjoy learning about. If none of these niches sound good to you, I made a list of a few other good ones you can try out, which I'll link in the description if you want to check those out.

Now, the next step is to find affiliate links, and I want to share a new method that I recently started using myself. So go on Pinterest and search up your niche, and look through the posts there. Now, you'll notice a lot of these posts will be promoting certain products. So if you click on the post, it'll either bring you to their blog post or directly to an affiliate link. Now, I want you to open up a fresh Google doc and write a list of around 30 to 50 different affiliate links that people in your niche are promoting on Pinterest. Here's a list I made of the top affiliate programs I found in my niche on Pinterest.

Now, the next thing you want to do is look through your list and figure out which affiliate links you'd like to promote. For example, I can make a Google search for "Swagbucks affiliate program" and I should be able to find the application where I can apply and get my own affiliate link. So I recommend you do this for all the links on your Google doc list that you actually want to promote.

Now, another way you can find affiliate links is by using platforms like Amazon Associates, ClickBank, Impact. The cool thing with Amazon Associates is that you can literally promote any Amazon product you want. For example, if you're in the home decor niche, you can promote different furniture, plants, house decor from Amazon and earn commission from each sale you generate. Now, you always want to make sure you're promoting quality products and services, and preferably you want to promote high-ticket affiliate links which pay over $30 per referral. Now, once you've gathered some affiliate links, I suggest you keep track of these links in a spreadsheet or Google Docs page for easy access.

Now, let's move on to the next step, which is to create your blog website. This website will look something like this. So you're going to have several blog posts where you promote different affiliate links to your audience. For example, here is a blog post about "10 profitable one-person business ideas for 2025," and throughout this blog, they just share tons of business ideas and link a ton of affiliate links. So you can think of blog posts as sharing information to help out your audience while promoting a bunch of affiliate links, so that you can earn a commission. So your blog posts don't always have to be so long; sometimes they can be short and straight to the point to just promote one affiliate link. To get a better feel for how your blog post can be, always look at your competitor websites on Pinterest; that will give you a ton of ideas.

Creating a blog website is pretty simple, and I'll be showing you the simplest and most affordable way to do this, which is by using Hostinger. Hostinger is my go-to for a variety of reasons. One is their affordability, less than $4 a month. You don't need any coding skills. You get a free domain name for the first year and professional email. Plus, it's a go-to blogging platform, as you can use their WordPress AI website builder, which will create you a blog website in under 2 minutes with AI. Here's a blog website it created for me, which looks amazing. All I had to do was give some info on what I wanted my website to look like, and then the AI website builder created it for me. And on top of this, you can use their AI content creator to generate blog posts for you in just a few minutes, which is exactly what we need. Here's a blog post it created for me, which is perfect.

Now, I'm going to walk you through step by step how you can create your blog website with Hostinger. So click the link in the description to access Hostinger, or go to hostinger.com/sarafinance. Once you're here, scroll down and choose a plan. If you want to get their AI tools and other features I mentioned, you need to get the business plan, and honestly, this is the best value. So choose plan, and here you can use code "sideincome10" to receive an additional 10% off, which is amazing. Now, if you choose the 48-month plan, it's the best deal, as you only pay $3.14 a month, and with the current sale going on, it'll give you a few months for free, which is amazing. But the 12-month plan is also pretty good, and you only pay $3.59 a month. So just choose whatever works best for you, then continue. And here, just add in your payment details. Once you make the payment, it'll bring you here and ask you a few questions. So I'm going to pick the first choice here. Next, create a website, pick WordPress, then add your login information here. Pick a blog, then create WordPress website with AI. Building a WordPress website with AI is a game changer; it eliminates stress of designing by handling all the heavy lifting for you. With just a few clicks, you'll have a stunning, fully functioning site featuring personalized layouts, matching color schemes, compelling content, and lightning-fast performance. Plus, it's super easy to tweak and updates, so your website can grow and change right along with you.

Now, moving on here, add what you want your website URL to be. Mine will be "businesswithsarah.store." The domain is free when purchasing a plan for the first time, which is awesome. Okay, now moving on to next step, just fill out your personal information here. Now it's asking what your website is about, so make sure you select blog and explain your site. I recommend you put something similar to what I put here. And now just wait for it to create the website.

Now it redirects me to the website it created, so click on "confirm and edit website." Looks amazing so far, but we definitely have to make some changes. So click right here, click again on this WordPress button. Now we're on the dashboard here on WordPress, where we can make any changes. First, click on "Posts." This is where you're going to create all your blog posts. I'm just going to delete every example that you see here. Move to trash. Now click "Add New Post." Now you can start writing your very first blog post. Mine is going to be "How to Make Money with Rakuten." Now, in order to have the writing generated here, we can actually use the AI content creator. So just click here, then "AI content creator." So I said, "Write me a blog post on how to make money with Rakuten. Make it friendly and the length medium." But you can do whatever you want. Now click "Create content." This looks perfect, and now I'm going to click "Use this content." And feel free to make any changes. You can also use ChatGPT to write your blog posts as well.

Now scroll down to the bottom, then click this plus button, then click on "Buttons." I just put "Try Rakuten" in the button because I want to make sure there's an affiliate link at the bottom. I'm also going to make this 100%. I'm going to click on "Styles," change the background color, and then make it large. And then don't forget, here make sure you click on this link button and actually add your affiliate link. I'm also going to add my affiliate link throughout the blog post, so whenever I see the word "Rakuten," I'm just going to add the link a few times. Now, if your blog post is a little bit long, I recommend adding this exact button throughout it so that people can actually see your affiliate link and sign up to it. So I've added the buttons throughout the blog post, and I think it looks good. You can of course customize it however you like. Be sure to check out your competitor's blog posts to see what they're doing too; they may add some images and other things like that, which you can also do.

Now, once you're done, click on "Publish," then "Publish" again. Now come back here. So anytime you want to create a new blog post, you can just click here on "Add New Post" and you can create as many blog posts as you like. We'll talk more about how many blog posts you need to create every single day later on in the video.

Next, click on "Pages." You should have a page that says "Resources." You may have a page that says "Tips," but you don't need it, so I'm going to put it in the trash. Now click on "Resources." In this section, you want to add every single affiliate link that you have. For example, it should look something like this, where you can just showcase all your affiliate links. So I'm going to go ahead and delete this part from the page. Now I'm going to add the first affiliate link. So click here, "Browse all media and text." Going to upload the photo of Rakuten. Now I'm going to add some text here just to briefly explain Rakuten, and then add the button for my Rakuten affiliate link. So I just added the text here that I used the AI content creator to make, then I added the button here to redirect people to Rakuten. So anytime you have an affiliate link, make sure you just go ahead and add it here to this section. So this page is basically just going to be a long list of all your affiliate links. Once you've added all your affiliate links, click "Save."

So now let's just make some small changes to the website. So anywhere you see a button here, I want you to actually add the link to your blog posts. So if you search "blog," you'll find this. So just add that there, save. Now let's exit out. So all your pages are good. Come back to "Posts." So anytime you make a blog, it's going to show here, and then you're also going to see it in the blog section on your website.

Now let's make some quick edits to our site. So click here. As I told you before, anytime you see a button here, we want to redirect people to our blog posts. So I'm going to show you how we do that. You search "Blog," then click here, and I'm just going to do that for all the buttons. Always make sure you save your changes. Homepage looks good. You can of course make any changes you want to the text, colors, and images. Now click right here. Let's edit the "Resources" page. I believe everything looks good here, but if you want to make changes, you definitely can. Let's click back here. Let's edit our "Blog" page. Everything looks good here. I'm just going to go ahead and remove this whole section. Also going to remove this button since I don't need it. So anytime you make a new blog post, it's going to automatically show up in this section. If you're happy with the page, click "Save."

Now let me show you how you can add an image in this section. So let's exit out. Come to "Posts," click on your blog post, and we can actually set a featured image. So I'm just going to add Rakuten in here, and you can add whatever you like. As you can see, blogs usually just use these nice stock images. Once you save, let's exit out.

So this is the final product and how my website looks. Definitely very nice. If we click here, we are brought to the blog post, so that's pretty cool. If we click "Resources," we are brought here to a page which basically just has all the affiliate links. Feel free to customize your website however you like, and remember to look at your competitors to see what they're doing, but I just like to keep mine pretty simple for this tutorial.

Now, to scale your affiliate marketing business, mastering content creation is essential. Great content drives traffic, builds trust, and converts readers into buyers. It's the key reason I consistently earn over $50,000 per month through affiliate marketing. By creating engaging content across multiple platforms, I've been able to grow my affiliate marketing business exponentially. That's why I'm excited to release my Content Creator Coaching Program, designed to help you master content creation and grow your affiliate marketing business faster than ever, for both on-camera and faceless content creators. Here's what's included: first, the exact strategies and systems I use to make over $50k per month as a content creator; 24/7 support from me and my team throughout the entire process; weekly group coaching calls for guidance and feedback; access to a community of like-minded individuals to support and inspire you; and so much more. By mastering content creation, you'll not only scale your affiliate marketing business but also unlock other income streams like sponsored posts, selling digital products, YouTube ad revenue—which you'll learn more about inside the coaching program. All of these income streams combined have made me over $150k last month, which is just insane. I made over $50k with affiliate marketing, over $90,000 with digital product sales, $30,000 with sponsored posts, and $28,000 with YouTube ad revenue. Now, spots in this program are limited because I want to work closely with each student to ensure their success. If you'd like to join my inner circle and gain direct access to me, apply now using the link in the description below.

All right, now that your blog website is done, the next step is to start creating content on your Pinterest account to promote your blog posts. The first step is to create your Pinterest account. Make sure you create a business Pinterest account, and you can add a nice profile picture. Add a username to match your niche. You can also add your website link in your bio. I have two successful Pinterest accounts: one that shows my face, which is Sarah Finance, and the other one that does not show my face. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal the account that doesn't show my face because I'm worried my content will all get copied, but essentially that account promotes different business tools like Shopify, AutoDS, and Canva. Here's an image I posted. This image is essentially just promoting my Shopify affiliate link, and so if someone signs up to it, I make $150 in commission, which is insane. You can definitely promote Shopify if that's the niche you're interested in.

Now, in order to figure out what type of content you should be posting on your Pinterest account, you need to look at the posts in your niche. So look at a ton of accounts and get inspiration from their content, and then make something very similar. For example, someone in my niche here is promoting Rakuten, and so I could remake an image very similar to this and post it to my Pinterest account. Honestly, until this day, the way I create content is just by looking at what's already working on Pinterest and just remaking something similar. That's essentially what everyone does nowadays. I also suggest you go on the website Pinterest Trends to see what is currently trending. This can give you a better idea of what kind of content to post as well.

Now, let me show you how you can actually create your Pinterest content within a few minutes using Canva. So go ahead and create a free Canva account, and once you're in your account, you can just go ahead and search for "Pinterest pin" and then click "Pinterest pin." Now, what's cool is it's actually going to show you a bunch of different Pinterest templates here. So I, as you can see, there are thousands of different templates you can pick from. I'm going to pick this one, click "Customize this template," and now I can just change this image to whatever I want to promote my certain affiliate link. So I want this image to promote my Rakuten blog post. I'll just change the text here first, so I put "How to make money with Rakuten." Then I'll add the Rakuten logo, and I referenced this Pinterest post for inspiration. I think this looks pretty good and took me less than 5 minutes to make. And you can make hundreds of these photos every single day to promote your blog posts. And remember, you can promote the same blog posts over and over again, but you just need to make sure you change up the image here with a different text and theme.

Now, once your image is ready, just download it. So click "Share," then click here on "Download," and you can now make it a bit larger—that's usually what I do. Then just click "Download," and then you can now upload this image to your Pinterest account.

Now, let me show you how to upload your image, and I'm just doing this on my computer, but you can do it on your phone. So I'm going to click up here, then click "Create Pin." Then let me just fill out all this info quickly. So for the header, I put "How to make money with Rakuten." Then for the description, I optimized for SEO. This basically means trying to increase visibility and rank higher in Pinterest search results. That way, if people are searching for my affiliate product, then my post will show up at the top. So how to optimize for SEO is to make sure the description has relevant keywords and phrases people search up. So I told ChatGPT to make a description for this post and optimize for SEO, and it gave me this perfect response, which I added. Now, for the link, just go on your website and go to the blog section, then click the blog post, then copy the URL and then paste it here. That way, people can be redirected from Pinterest to your blog post. For the board, it's just a way to organize your post, so this falls under the "How to make money" category, so I made a board for that. Now, for tags, just add anything that's relevant to what you're promoting, as I did here. Once you're ready, you can publish the image. Now, if someone comes across my image and clicks here, it'll redirect them to my blog post where they can easily sign up to my affiliate link, and I can make a commission.

Now, let's talk about what your upload schedule should be like on Pinterest. I suggest you post two to three every single day. This ensures your account will grow quickly. The more you post, the more money you could make, of course. Now, you're probably wondering how many blog posts should you make per day. Honestly, one to three is fine. They are really simple to create, especially with the help of AI. You basically have unlimited blog post ideas, as you can just look at your competitors and you can also just ask ChatGPT to give you blog post ideas in your niche.

Now, you're probably wondering, can you promote the same blog post more than once? And the answer is yes, absolutely. However, you need to make sure you're always creating a new Canva image every time you promote the blog post. And I would suggest you only promote the same blog post for a maximum of 10 times, and make sure you aren't promoting the same blog post back to back. Maybe you can promote it every 2 weeks or so. This way, you can have fresh content for your audience and you aren't spamming them with the same stuff all the time.

Ultimately, the goal is to post one to three high-quality images daily on Pinterest that promote your blog posts. And if you're able to do this consistently, you will see growth, and you should eventually start making money. Now, one tool I believe will help you out a lot with Pinterest is Tailwind. This integrates with Pinterest and allows you to schedule posts and monitor analytics, which is super helpful and convenient. This honestly will save you lots of time. Also, what's really cool is you can check out the Pinterest analytics section. So just click up here, then click "Analytics," and then it'll show you your top performing posts. You can use this data to see what's getting the most engagement and double down on that content, and hopefully maximize your views.

Now, you've probably noticed a lot of your competitors have ads on their blog websites, which means they're earning money every time someone actually sees an ad on their site. Now, this isn't affiliate marketing, obviously, however it is another way you can make money. So I do think it's worth exploring. In order to set this up for yourself, go to Google AdSense, click "Get Started," and sign in with your Google account. Complete the sign-up process by providing your website details and agreeing to the terms. Then wait for Google to review and approve your application. This can take a few days usually, and then afterwards you may be able to have ads appear on your website and you can start earning money from that, which is pretty cool.

Now, I just taught you how to create content on Pinterest in order to promote your affiliate links, which is great. However, by only using Pinterest, you are leaving tons of money on the table. You need to be creating content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to promote your affiliate links so you can maximize your profits. The reason I'm able to make over $50,000 a month from affiliate marketing is because I advertise my affiliate links on all social media platforms, and you should definitely be doing the same. Now, in order for this to work, you need to become a content creator, just like how I've done with Sarah Finance. And don't worry if you don't want to show your face online; you can be a faceless content creator.

Becoming a content creator has completely transformed my life. It has allowed me to scale my affiliate marketing business to over $50,000 per month in profit, and last month alone I made over $150k, all directly tied to the content I made. Now, if this sounds interesting to you, I have something you may want to hear. I'm opening up early access to my brand new coaching program for a limited amount of people only. This isn't some random course; this is the exact system I use to grow from zero to making over $150,000 per month from my content. The reason I'm limiting spots is simple: I want to work closely with this first group. We'll be doing weekly live calls where we help you implement everything you learn. Think of it like having a mentor guiding you through every step of building your online business. If you'd like to become a part of my inner circle and gain direct access to me, apply now using the link in the description. This could be the program that totally changes your life, and I can't wait to help you on your journey.
