It's in him we live and it's in him we move and it's in him we have our being. I am eternally grateful to God today for his presence that we sense in this room today. And uh as he was talking I thought about the old song because he lives >> I can face tomorrow. Said because he lives all fear is gone cuz I know who holds the future and I know that he holds my hand and I am grateful because God is with us today. I won't have you up and down today. Um I am thankful for this moment to just be here and share and we honor even in her absence. Can you please help me celebrate uh your pastor the one and only pastor T Renee [Applause] grateful to God for the gift that she is. We love her when you see this. We love you pastor. to elder and his wife that has been so kind to us and to the entire staff. Uh we're just grateful uh to all of you today uh for your kindness. Listen, I want to go to the word of the Lord. It's a great atmosphere in here and I think that this is appropriate uh for the word of the Lord. I want to go to the book of Isaiah and I want to go to chapter 61. And I really just have one verse that I want to read in your hearing today. Isaiah 61 and uh want to just read one verse. Um let's talk to the Lord. Father, we thank you. >> You are with us today. >> And we thank you. >> Your presence is felt and we thank you. >> You're near to us and we thank you. >> We sense your presence. We sense your power. And Lord, we believe that you want to do something for us. >> Hallelujah. >> Lord, as we are worshiping and we're praising you, we're not doing it, Lord, to be manipulative. We praise you and worship you because you're good. >> We bless you because you're kind. >> We bless you because you're holy. >> We bless you because there is absolutely nobody like you. We bless you, Father, from the pure place. >> But God, while we are blessing you because you're holy and you're kind. And >> while we are blessing you because there's nobody like you, >> Father, we do thank you because by faith, we believe that you're going to do something for us. >> Now, we're not praising you to make you do it. We're praising you because we believe you are going to do it. >> You've never failed us before. ever >> and you're not going to start now. >> We thank you, Father, for every person that is in this room. We thank you for the leadership of this house. God, we thank you because you have purposed something for today. >> And we pray now, thy kingdom come, >> thy kingdom >> and thy will be done >> on earth as it is in heaven. God, perform your intentions >> for this house, for this moment is in the name of Jesus. for those that are in the room, for those that are watching. We thank you that we're going to see the manifestation of what you intended. >> So, Father, we bind anything that's not you. >> We release everything that is you. >> Now, God, we pray that you would forgive us of all of our sins and wash us aresh. >> Let your blood cover us even now. We don't want anything to be a hindrance and a limitation to that which is your anointing and what you want to do. And Lord, today while we're praying, I'm asking you, Lord, bless my neighbor to my right and my left. Let this be a corporate anointing tonight. What do you do for one, do for all. When you touch one, touch all. When you save one, save all. When you minister to one, minister to all. We thank you that we're not going to leave here empty-handed. Now, Lord, as we have prepared the way, we make room for you now. So thank you that you anoint our minds to comprehend and our spirits are open, our hearts are ready. Thank you that we anointed as hearers to hear what you're really saying to us today. Now Lord, I pray that you anoint my eyes, ears, and lips to only hear, see, and say what you purpose for this moment. And we count it done. Thank you for salvation today. >> Thank you for breakthrough, healing, and deliverance. And we declare that it is so and everybody shout in Jesus name. I want to read just verse number seven from the English Standard Version. Verse number seven says, "Instead of your shame, >> there shall be a double portion. >> Instead of dishonor, >> they shall rejoice in their lot. >> Therefore, in their land they shall possess a double portion. They shall have everlasting joy." As you take your seat, just help me just announce them on topic. Very simple. Just look at somebody and tell them, "I got a reservation for two." [Music] >> That's all I want to talk about. Look at somebody else and tell them, "I've got a reservation for two." and I shine for that mercy. [Music] >> I I feel God's presence in this room. >> I I want to I want to start off be before I address anything and I honor my wife uh who is not here but she watching. I I want to I want to start off today by giving context to this message. Um I I'll be honest with you. I believe in being obedient to God and saying what God wants me to say and but I I my honesty comes. When I heard this, I was somewhat apprehensive because I I think we have in this modern day and time have gotten a lot of people preaching what may not be God's heart. >> And and as a result, they're they're giving us things that sound good. and even can make you feel good, >> but it may not be God's heart. >> And and I I didn't want to be uh derelct in my responsibilities and I was very sensitive, but I couldn't get away from what I sense God was saying. And the Lord said to tell the church today that this message today is God's response to his people in consideration of their posture despite present circumstance. >> Let me let me say it again. God said to say this to the church that this message today is in response to his people. >> It's God's response to us in consideration of your posture, our posture despite >> present circumstance. >> What what what is that saying? In other words, you have to understand this y'all. It's stuff that's happening right now. >> Elder was doing a great job of just talking about the present circumstances and the things that's happening. Uh we're not ignorant of it. And we don't have to go list the whole laundry list of what's going on. But we know what's happening with our government. We know what's happening in our lives. We know what's happening in our local economy. We know what's happening. And and the truth be told, uh there is also the part where we don't know what will happen. >> We don't know. All we know is life is lifeing. >> That's that's what we know. We know life is doing what life does. And uh in consideration of that though, we as the people of God and and and please hear me, we are God's people. >> God's people, >> right? And as Elder stated a few moments ago, we do live under a different economy. >> We do live under a different system. We are in this world, >> but we're not of this world. >> Y are y'all with me? Just just you just got to make sure that that that technically according to um the Bible, if we preach it as we really should, this world is really not our home. We are really aliens. We we we we have just migrated here for a season. >> But after a while, our heavenly father is going to bring us back home. >> And uh we need to understand that. But the Bible does tell us that while we're here, we got to occupy. >> That we have to maintain while we're here. But let us not forget that our God, >> it's like being ambassadors. If you understand that person that is an ambassador when they go to another country they are operating on behalf of the country that sent them >> but the go the laws that govern them are their home country. >> They might be in a different territory >> but they are governed by >> their home country. And so just in case we we may have forgotten because life has been lifing and things have been happening and and you have gotten caught up in what's going on. I just came to remind you that we are in this world, but we are still governed by heaven's legal. >> We we are we are governed by heaven's government, >> which means then no matter what the earth does, we still are going to be all right. And I I need you to understand that no matter what the economy looks like around here, as long as we are following the system of God that has been laid out for us, we are always going to be okay. >> We we don't have to we don't have to have a feeling. We can have a knowing >> that we going to be okay. Go go go go go back to to Exodus when when when Egypt was going through and the plagues and all of that the the children of God they lived in Gam >> which was right next to Egypt >> which meant that they should have been affected >> by what happened in Egypt >> but because of God's covering over their lives they didn't feel the effects. So the Bible says he that dwelleth in him the secret place >> of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. So, we got to understand that the Bible said we gonna see this stuff, but it shall not come near our dwelling. All right. I I thought I was going to have some Bible readers in here. He said he'll give his angels charge angels charge over us lest we dash our foot against a stone. He said that that that a thousand shall fall at thy right hand, 10,000 uh shall fall at thy right hand. Uh he says, "Listen, don't you worry about this because we are covered by God, >> right? A thousands have fallen thy side, 10,000 at thy right hand. And here's what you have to understand with all of that. Why is this important? Because as I am walking into this text, I need you to understand that we are not ignoring >> what is happening. >> We are not ignoring what's happening. Sometimes when we hear messages like this, people think being spiritual means we ignore humanity. >> We're not ignoring humanity. We are human as much as we are divine. So we cannot ignore the humanity. But what we do is in our humanity, we have an awareness >> of the fact that God has us covered. >> Just in case your neighbor didn't get it, pass it down your row and tell them God has us covered. God >> God has us covered. And so and so what has happened now? Glory to God. I feel God's presence. So, so what is what is happening now is God now has been monitoring our behavior. >> He's been monitoring how we've been responding. >> He's been monitoring monitoring our maturity in the face of what has been allowed to happen. >> Because again, you cannot ignore the fact that what has happened has been allowed. Come on, stay with me, y'all. >> What has happened has been allowed. You can try to be deep and all that kind of stuff, but but but God reminded me um because I was doing so much talking about what was going on and and God had to check me and say, "Hey, hey, hey, whatever you do, don't talk about them so much where you magnify them over me." >> Remember, no, no, I'm trying to tell y'all God, for real, God told me for real. He said, "Listen, I'm still in control. Don't don't don't don't don't get it twisted, saints. God is very much in control. >> It might not look like it because of what's being allowed, but don't y'all worry your sweet self about it. God is very much in control. And God is not caught by surprise. God is not worried. God is not sitting nowhere biting his fingernails or nothing like that. God is very much in control. Which means then if he's in control then what is happening is being allowed to happen. God might not be doing it but he has allowed it to happen. Which means then if God has allowed it to happen he's already measured out everything which means that we can handle it. >> Come on. Y'all got to help me preach just for a few minutes. And I won't keep bing on your neighbor, but tell your neighbor, say, "You obviously can handle this. You obviously >> I know you might not think it, but I'm telling you, if God has allowed it, you can handle it. God never puts on us no more than what he knows we can handle. And even if you don't think you can handle it, if you are going through it, it means God believes and knows you can handle it." Now that means then God has been monitoring >> our behavior. >> That that's that's why it is important that we come to church to get instructions because the instructions help us to behave. >> The instructions help us to adjust our attitude. >> The instructions help us so that we won't be depressed when we should have joy. the instructors help us so that we won't be going crazy when when everything else is going on around this. And so understanding this then then this leads me to my next statement. God is responding to us based upon our position our posture despite present circumstance. So then the next thing that I need to help you understand is the understanding of times and seasons empowers and weaponizes us >> to enact appropriately. >> Understanding of times and seasons empowers us and weaponizes us >> to act appropriately. The next thing the understanding does is understanding please hear this gives us permission to engage >> accordingly. >> Accordingly. >> So our engagement comes through our understanding. >> So number one it empowers and weaponizes us. Number two it gives us permission of engagement. But number three, understanding qualifies us to communicate expressly without reservation. >> Okay? So you got to you got to get this. Let let me let me let me unpack this last one. See, when I have understanding, >> then I speak based upon my understanding. And because I understand, I don't have to have reservation because I know what I know. >> Okay. All right. All right. Man, let let me let me let's let's let's let's make it make even more sense. So, because I understand what I just explained to you about where we are and what God is doing, I was not apprehensive about what I said because I understand what I'm saying. >> I know where we are based upon what God has shared. So my expressing to you or communicating to you what I just communicated to you was not with apprehension because when you know what you know >> then you can speak confidently. >> Y'all with me, okay? Cuz I'm going somewhere. It's it it sound like I'm all over, but I promise we going somewhere. All right. So So number one, understanding times and season empowers and weaponizes. Understanding gives us permission to engage. Understanding qualifies us to communicate without reservation. Here we go. When understanding is effectively grasped, there should be corresponding behavior and conversation that follows. >> Don't tell me you understand the times and the seasons, but your behavior is anti what the season is. >> Can't you can't tell me. So So the weather is is is changing. It's really unpredictable like it'll be warm and then it be cold and all that stuff. Well, if you understand what season that we're in, then you act and behave accordingly. So, that's why coming down here, I had a scarf on and some other stuff. Not because it's freezing, but because I know the weather is changing, it can affect your body and all those kind of things. You can't say you understand and then you behave otherwise. >> Either you are uh um what's the right word because I don't want to use the improper terms. Even you are mentally challenged >> or you are just straight lying. You are are y'all with me here? Because because uh if you understand then you are supposed to behave in correspondence to what you understand. So as believers we don't have permission when we understand to be depressed to be suicidal to be on drugs to go through changes. Because if you have understanding, then you understand God's got me and I'mma be all right. [Music] >> Come on. Come on. Walk with me now. Look, look at your neighbor and we going to preach this together. So, just get used to it. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, "You don't have permission to act like that. You don't have you you don't you don't have permission to act like that. We we close we we give you a moment to respond because we are human. Because even Jesus wept, >> but he got himself together. >> So, so I'm not saying that you can't have a moment. >> No, no, no. Have your moment, but then get yourself together. >> It's okay. It's okay. H, have your moment. I promise you, we're not saying that we're ignoring what happened. You lose your job, you're going to feel away. >> All right. But here's what I'm telling you. Feel away. But then get yourself together because as understanding even with a job or not having a job, God shall supply all my needs. Because when I follow the principles of God, I'm going to be okay. [Applause] It don't matter what the doctors say. It don't matter. Hear the report, respond, but then get yourself together because I know that I serve Jehovah Rafa >> and he's the God that health all my diseases. So it don't even matter what's going on. You got people coming against you. Have your moment, but then get yourself together because we got Jehovah Ni. He's the God that fights for us. I He's the God that is our banner. Jehovah Gabir. He's the God that fights. I need you to look at your neighbor and tell him if you understand, then you got to act like you know. [Applause] So, so now, so now that we're we're walking into the text now based upon this backdrop, God's response, >> our understanding, right? So Isaiah, the eagle-eyed prophet, and I might not be able to go through all this historicity, so forgive me if I don't do all that stuff, but he's the eagle-eyed prophet. He seeks to help us navigate this by sharing the heart of God to his people. >> This book uses language that catered to the context of that time, >> but is still relevant to us today. >> Get this. This book that presents Jesus as the Prince of Peace is said to be a mini Bible. It has 66 chapters. Y'all knew this stuff. Verse 39, it's like the Old Testament. Second 27, I like the New Testament. Here's where we need to go. When we get to chapter number 40, >> which John J. Collins calls second Isaiah, some scholars call from chapter 40 on, they call that second Isaiah because of what I just explained to you. Um, get this. Now, when we get to this point, because of the content and context of the writing, it creates a

huge point of transition in Hebrew prophecy. Amen.

It creates a point of transition. We're going somewhere. Up to this point, most of the prophecies have been about war, famine, and judgment.

But when we get to chapter 40, God speaks to Isaiah a different type of prophetic declaration.

Now, get this now. This is a prophetic text that speaks to the future. It is a text of empowerment. But God speaks to Isaiah about the future in the present moment.

Let me say it again. He speaks to the future in the present moment.

When Isaiah prophesies, everything hasn't changed yet. But he prophesies the change that's coming.

Are y'all with me? Come. Come on. Stay with me now. When he when he prophesies, cuz prophesying is not only foretelling, it is forthtelling.

It it is not now. We're not predicting. We're not psychic, but we are telling you what's getting ready to take place.

So your pastor who is a prophet who speaks on the behalf of God. When she says what God is saying, she's not only just communicating what God is saying in the moment, but she's also telling you what God is saying is getting ready to come.

And and you got to understand this. When God speaks it, he many times speaks in your present to your future.

And he speaks in your present to your future to ensure what he's spoken in your future cannot be held up by your present.

So it is not just an awareness for you, but he's speaking in the future to your present. So your present knows that it only has but a short time. I sh I feel God's presence.

And so it don't even matter what your present circumstance is. When the word of God comes, your present has to adhere to what your future is going to be. Your your present has got to release because of what God has spoken into the atmosphere.

So you might not have a dime in your bank account. But if God says that God is supplying all your needs, your bank account has got to adhere to whatever the future word is. You might have sickness in your body right now. But if God said you are healed, that means your body has got to shift to whatever the future is concerning your life.

I just want to ask somebody, if you got a prophecy in here, you need to start saying what your prophecy is until you see what God said. And it don't matter how how how how tense things have been, your present has got to give leeway to whatever the future says is supposed to happen.

Now, now here's where I need to go. Here's where I need to go. And we we going we going we going to get there in a second. that I I just need to be cerebral cerebral just for one second because the book I feel the Holy Ghost y'all the book of Isaiah presents to us a twosided coin.

It can appear complicated as Isaiah vasillates between two extremes. His assignment was to prophesy judgment and promise.

I I need y'all to get this. I want to be clear. God always has an end.

Or let me say it like this. He always has an intention. He always has a desired outcome. Even when there is correction or judgment, the goal is to listen to this. Reset and course correct.

Reset and course correct. Because the one thing that I've been hearing is God saying we're in a season of reset.

Y'all gota understand we're in a season of reset. Even what's happening with with what's going on with the government and the economy, y'all. It's something bigger behind this.

No, no, no. I'm trying to tell y'all, God is setting us up for something amazing that's going to come from their ignorant behavior. That's right. That That's why instead of us getting all crazy, I you you you're just going to have to h ask God for some patience.

But if you can just endure hardness as a good soldier, the righteous are about to benefit from the behavior of the unrighteous.

And I know we hear that cliche, but I I I believe this that there is getting ready to be a wealth transfer. God God said, "The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous." And I don't know about y'all, but y'all need to get your stuff together, get your business together, clean up your credit, whatever you need to do, because I'm telling you, a transfer is coming. A a a a transfer is coming. Somebody shout, "A transfer is coming to me."

Transfer is coming to me. So So So we're in the midst of a reset. It's a course correction. But but let me help you understand. One of the most quotes that we use in scripture, one of the most quoted scriptures in Jeremiah 29 uh and 11, it is set in the context.

Now, it's a scripture of hope, but it is set in the context of judgment presented as captivity and exile.

I'm trying to help y'all get it. I'm trying to help you get it. God is speaking about a future, but he's telling them about a future while they're in captivity and in exile.

Cuz number one, God wants you to know there is an end to this. In other words, I'm allowing it because there is purpose. You're not just going through this just to be going through it. You're not just experiencing this just to be experiencing it. There is an end. Somebody shout, "There is an end."

All right. All right. Here we go. So here we go. Um um so so there's a person Gwen Harley PhD wrote a summarization of Eric Ericson's theory called Eriksonian measure of psychological development and and Eric Ericson um his theory of psychological development states that personality or identity evolves in eight stages. At each stage, the personality confronts a developmental task which results from interaction of biological, psychological and cultural influences.

The individual's efforts to adjust to these tasks produce a crisis or what we call a turning point in the form of conflict between alternate attitudes. Right. That's that was a lot. Let me let me give you the two points of it to make it make sense.

In other words, Eric says that everybody in this room has gone through and is going through stages of development. Right? And and it is interaction that is that is derived from biological, psychological and cultural influences. Right? And what happens is these tasks that help, they are developmental tasks because they're designed for our growth. They're designed for our evolution.

So stay with me. It's designed for evolution. So our approach to adjust to it creates moments of what we call conflict or crisis or what really is a turning point. It really is a turning point because it is a point where you begin to learn how to manage and you end up growing.

So two things that that are noteworthy. Progression through stages varies in tempo and intensity. So that means the way I grow might be different from the way you grow. It doesn't mean anyone is wrong. It just means we just grow at a different pace. Right?

But the second one is identity or personality is shaped by the manner in which the staged crisis is resolved. So your identity and your personality, we can use them interchangeably. They are designed or they are discovered. They're understood by how the crisis of the stage is resolved.

All right. So here we go. So the takeaways are is this. The takeaways are who we are is a combination of biological, psychological, and cultural influences. I'm making it make sense now.

Every level in our development is accompanied by a conflict. our growth in and from that stage rest on our management not only of the stage but of the crisis accompanying the stage.

So in other words in simple terms how you respond to trouble dictates how you grow.

Okay. Um say y'all y'all y'all think that's real deep. I got scripture to back it up. 1 Peter 5 and10. After you have suffered a little while, the God of grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

So you got to get this now, people of God, because we always say what the enemy meant for evil, God meant it for my good. Yes, all of that is true. But but what I don't want to do is give so much credence to the enemy. What we have to understand then is I am being allowed to endure a crisis at this stage which has been anointed and appointed to help me grow.

So, so my shouting and dancing is not simply because of some material stuff. I'm shouting and dancing because I'm anointed to manage crisis. It's not my job to grow me. It's my job to manage the crisis.

Am I Am I making sense? I'm going to show you how how it relates to the text in one second. I'm almost done. Look at somebody and tell them whatever you do, just manage the crisis. That's that's your job. Don't try to force growth. Don't try to do nothing else. That ain't your job. You don't force yourself to get taller. You don't force yourself to do anything. You just manage the moments, the stages. You manage the crisis. And that helps you to grow.

Right now, get this. Conflict then, Lord, I feel the Holy Ghost. Conflict then is essential to growth and development. God understands psychological health and psychological well-being. Even if we didn't instigate it, the fight is healthy.

I I need you to look at somebody and tell them it's healthy. It's It's tension, but it's healthy. It's a struggle, but it's healthy. It's challenging, but it's healthy. And if you can just hang tough, if you can just listen, you might not might be like Jacob. Jacob wrestled until he couldn't wrestle no more. And all he did was held on. But he said, "I'm not going to let go until I get what I'm supposed to get from this."

I came to tell somebody, even if you ain't got no more fight, just hang on. Whatever you do, hang on in there. I feel the Holy Ghost. I'm trying to finish. Look at somebody. Put a smile on your face and say, "Whatever you do, hang on in there. Hold on. I know it's rough right now. Hold on. I know you're tired. Hold on. I know it might be a little challenging, but hang on in there cuz they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like an eagle. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage. He will strengthen that heart. Grab somebody by the hand and say, "Hey, neighbor." Wait on the Lord.

I feel strength coming in the room. I feel strength coming in the room. I feel stripped in the room. Shrimp to hang on. Shrimp to hang on. Shut the horn. Hallelujah. All right, y'all can be seated. Let me Hallelujah. There is an end to this. There is an end to this. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning there. If you just hang on. Hallelujah. I feel somebody getting renewed. Hallelujah. I feel somebody getting renewed. Hallelujah. I feel somebody getting renewed. You almost let go, but you made it to the house today. You almost gave up, but you made it to the house today. Hallelujah. Woo.

All right, let me I'm trying to get to the text. I'm just try I'm trying to walk it through as God gave it to me. I hope I'm not too long. Can I have a few more minutes? Okay. Okay. So, so, so, so uh if we understand glory to God, if if we understand then that the fight is healthy, therefore we can assess that what God allows is simultaneously strategic. ic and profitable. It produces growth in us and growth for us.

So here we go. We're walking into the text now. So So that leads me to make this statement as we approach the text. We are at the point of exchange. We we are at the point of exchange. Yes, this text is a turning point. We are at the point of exchange.

And I I know y'all don't have it yet, but it's going to make sense in a second. We are at the point of exchange. The text that we're in is situated as one reflecting exchange. Isaiah speaks to exilic people oppressed and beat down by life and the powers that be. They were demoralized, dejected, and disgraced. But now there is an exchange.

For the sake of time, I don't have time to deal with all this. When you get a chance, read the whole chapter. It's only like 11, 12 verse. Not real long. Um but but but but it opens up by talking about the spirit of the Lord being upon him and the anointing comes to eradicate what has been an issue for God's people.

It's it's it's an anointing to eradicate. It's an anointing to confront and eradicate. That's why he said sight to the blind, the captive are coming out of prison and and those that were bound. Then he says, "It's also an anointing." Anointing to announce.

What are you proclaiming? The year of the Lord's vengeance. The year of the Lord. In other words, he's announcing jubilee.

And I I know I know I know y'all. I know your pastor understands and that that the jubilee was only supposed to happen every 50 years. But I believe prophetically we getting ready to have a spiritual jubilee. And I I believe we getting ready to have an unscheduled jubilee.

Now, now listen, y'all might not like it, but if God gives a text to be preached and it is the will of God for the text to be preached, then that text is applicable to your life. Which means then if God is saying, "This is the text for the day." Then it don't matter if it's on the calendar. I'm getting ready to have Jubilee.

Glory to God. I I told y'all this interactive. Look at somebody you ain't talk to yet and tell them we getting ready to have Jubilee. I I know it's not on the calendar, but it's on God's calendar, right? Let's go. And so, whatever whatever key that is, just keep me in that key, Josh. Thank you. Uh uh I've been preaching all week and my voice is tied. So, so you got to get this now. Get this. Everybody hear this. Um uh so he says to announce Jubilee. Jubilee debts were cancelled. Inheritance was returned. Whatever was broken, even even the stuff that we messed up, God gave us a second chance in Jubilee.

No, that's the Bible. That's the Bible. Because because some of them lost what they lost because of mismanagement. But at Jubilee, they got another chance. I'm trying not I'm trying not to get happy too soon, but sometime you got to thank God for another chance. Now, I know some of y'all don't want to be honest about the stuff that you blew, but I've been honest with God that I done messed some stuff up. I made some decisions that cost me. But today, I thank you cuz you gave me another chance. I dare you to take 30 seconds Open up your mouth and pray them for another chance.

Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Okay. I'm almost done. Here we go. Here we go. Cuz I told you we're at the point of exchange. This this is this is all leading to verse number seven. We at the point of change exchange. So he he tells them, "An announce the good news and the blind can see and the prison doors are open and the captives are released." And then he announced the year of Jubilee.

And then we get to verse number three and he says, "You got an appointment." See, see, I I know y'all thought I was just using some random terms sound good to make it sound like a cliche. No, no, no, no. When I said you have a reservation for two, I'm telling you, you got an appointment. It's going to make sense in a second. We we we almost there. I I got an appointment to keep.

Um and and and and part of my appointment is to get beauty for ashes. Um and and you know what's interesting? Um because just looking at it face value, you think he's talking about complexion. But that word beauty is really a diadem. It's a crown. Lord have mercy. In other words, what is really what is really happening is God is saying for that which represents your pain, for that which is the residue from what was, I'm getting ready to do something with your head.

I'm I'm I'm getting ready to crown you. Lord have mercy. That's why you can't throw away your ashes. I I know you want to get rid of the thing that represents where you came from. But but the ashes you need to keep because that's my point of exchange. I give God my ashes and he's getting ready to crown my head. All right? Cuz cuz see if we want to deal with it, October is mental health awareness. So So in other words, he's saying, I give you this and you make me mentally well. Yeah.

Then he says, "I give you the oil of joy, oil of joy for mourning." I wish I had time to preach all this. I I can't I got to get to my verse. We out of here. And then he says, "Not only am I going to give you the oil, not just joy, but the oil of joy." I wish I had time to deal with this. Uh cuz anybody especially that's into perfumes, you know, oil is stronger and is more potent and lasts longer than just the spray perfume.

I I ain't got time to really deal with all this. And he says, I'm I'm not just giving you joy. This ain't perfume. No, no, you can't find this at Macy's and you can't you can't find this at Walgreens. This this is this is this is some stuff where you got to pay a little extra money for, but we'll still smell you when you're gone. All right, y'all y'all to get that later. Y'all to get that later. See, see some of y'all still shop at those places. I'm not knocking it, but I need you just to try all just one good time.

Then he says, "I'm going to give you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." Y'all see the exchange? Y'all see the turning point? No more crying, no more mourning, no more depression. He says, "I'm I'm I'm doing a turning." Because remember remember how all this comes together. Remember God is speaking to us based upon our posture, based upon our response. I told you that understanding has correlating behavior. And then I shared with you that each stage has a crisis and depend on how you respond to the crisis determines your growth.

Y'all see how it's coming together? So as we are responding appropriately, God is now telling us what his response is to us. So because I handled my crisis right, because I dealt with it properly, good God almighty, because I managed well. God says, "Let me tell you what I'm going to do. Not only am I turning things, can we just get that little church cliche, God's turning around?" No, this is deeper than God just turning around. God God is is exchanging. He's taking my ashes and he's given me beauty. If I had time, I would deal with how where where David had to sacrifice is where they put the temple up. Oh, y Okay, y'all can get that later. Cuz the the ashes represented his mistake. But at the same place where the pain and everything was, they erected a place of worship. I I don't have time to get deep into it.

Um and and so then then then while we're in exchange, the next thing that we see is we see restoration, rebuilding, and repositioning. It's in the text. Read it for yourself cuz cuz it's restoration. Then he says, we going to rebuild the old waste places. Good God. And then he says in verse number six, it's repositioning because you're going to be called the priest of the Lord. Good God almighty. And I I hope y'all see this. this that's that's not my my verse. I'm only preaching verse seven, but I need y'all to see how we walk into the text.

And so so here we go now. That they they they they were to be listen to this. They were to be and they were to accomplish certain successes, but circumstances, some self-inflicted. Come on now. We we can shout and dance, but let's let's have an honest moment. Some stuff wasn't God. It wasn't the devil and it wasn't your enemy. It was us.

Now, see, now y'all can shout about all the other stuff. Let's Let's shout about being real. Some stuff was my fault. Ain't no need ain't no need to lying now, y'all. We out here now. We already out here. Look at your neighbor. Say, "Ain't no need to lying now. We out here now." Tell them some stuff was my fault. That relationship wasn't all them. It wasn't just them. No, some of it was me, too.

Now, they might have did some XYZ, but my mouth got me in trouble, too. See, y'all see y'all don't want to have no real church. Some stuff was your attitude. The job just didn't get fired. You didn't just get fired because of whatever. You was taking them long lunch breaks. You had too much attitude. You thought you were so spiritual, you wasn't being productive like you should. See? See, see, see, see see how it turns. You got some health challenges because of how you eat. You're not under attack. You just undisiplined.

Okay, listen. I I'm I'm an honest person. And I I I say I've been saying this, my motto. I tell my son this. I tell anybody this. If you man or woman enough to do it, you got to be man enough and woman enough to take the consequences. So, so, so, so, so, so we got that now. So, let's move on. Here we go.

So, they were to have some things. They were to accomplish certain successes, but circumstances, some self-inflicted, brought disappointment, denial, and delay. Right? Stay with me now because we we we almost where we need to be. We about here. When we reach markers of growth, cuz remember I just told you each stage is designed for growth and evolution, right? When we reach markers of growth and the target is missed, God compensates but does not cancel.

I I know we're in a cancel culture, but our God is not a cancel God. Oh, okay. Huh? Okay. In other words, this is what is being addressed in our scripture verse. That's that's that's what we're dealing with in verse number seven. It is dealing with the fact that they were supposed to be but were not. And whatever was supposed to be hasn't happened yet.

So, they missed the target. Yeah. Can I can I help you before I go any further? Cuz I hear the Lord talking and I just need y'all to get this. Even though we missed it, God said that we're not behind schedule. Now, I know that messes with you cuz it messes with me cuz I ain't going to lie to you. I know some stuff I know I missed. But I'm telling y'all what the Lord said. He said to tell you, you're not behind.

Will you please pass that to somebody and tell them you are not behind. I don't care what it feels like. You Lord have mercy. I I feel the Holy Ghost. You echo Shai. You and I are not behind. That's why Joel chapter number two is so important. I will restore to you the years. Y'all don't understand. But we're in that restorative place where we getting years back. Y'all, I'm trying not to get too I'm trying not to tear this church up, but my brother, I'm telling you, we're in the season of restored years. Do you hear me? We are in the season of restored years. And I love God because he doesn't let external circumstances dictate his behavior.

So, we're in the text. Here we go. And I told you I'm almost done. I always start of shame in one dimension. I thought it was embarrassment and disgrace, humiliation, guilt, and even distress caused by the consciousness of wrong behavior. In other words, some of us were stressed because we knew we messed up. You feel me? That that's what some of our our issue was, that we knew we blew it.

I I I I share this with you just as as a a story just to help you understand. Um I recently started teaching um uh as a professor at one of the H.B.CU in our area. And um what was interesting is we just did midterms. Uh but that whole AWS outage last weekend messed us up. So we were supposed to turn in grades, right? So the grades, they gave us an extension. We were supposed to turn in midterm grades by Friday. Now, I'm not going to lie to you. Tuesday when I had them, something told me to put them in and I got distracted and I didn't do it. I delayed. I was trying to help a student out. Whatever the case is, my fault, right? It wasn't until yesterday that I'm sitting down eating with my wife because I've been preaching the last couple of days and I said, "Oh my lord, I forgot to put the thing in." And and it it's a whole thing. If you can't do it, that's a whole another process that you got to do.

Now, now I need you to understand I'm new. I just got this job. First of all, I ain't trying to lose my job. Second of all, second of all, I ain't trying to do a whole lot of extra work. Right? Cuz if I just do it right the first time and I was like, I called my chair lady and I was like, "Listen, I made a rookie mistake. Blah blah blah blah." I took ownership of it. But let me help you understand what I'm preaching. I felt the distress of my mistake. Yes, I felt it. It it I was trying to eat enjoy my meal with my wife cuz I I've been away from her. So, we were trying to spend some time um knowing I had to be away even today and and trying to spend some time and I had to adjust myself cuz I felt shame that I missed it.

You got to That's why you got to love God cuz cuz God has a way of doing it. Um but but but but but I found out that shame is more than that in the Hebrew. In Hebrew it's more in depth than just embarrassment, disgrace and humiliation. It is that. But shame is confusion. Shame is to become dry. That that one right there to become dry. Some people are shamed because you don't have no life. Stuff has dried up. Good God Almighty. And then shame also means delay and disappointment.

Okay. So, so, so get this now because we're in the text. God is dealing with the effects and the cause. Many times we want to talk about what was the result of the experience. But today God is dealing with both the cause of the experience and the effect. So in other words, God is addressing why it happened and what happened. God is dismantling, disrupting and destroying the yoke and hold of shame on his people.

Lord have mercy. So So hey, glory to God. Hallelujah. I I came to talk to somebody today and I need you to hear me. God today is releasing you from shame. That wasn't enough people. And let me say it again because I need y'all to catch this. God today told me to tell the church, myself included, that he is releasing us from shame. He's not just dealing with what you felt. He's dealing with what caused you to feel what you felt.

Lord have mercy. He He's dealing with He's dealing with He's He's dealing with and and and get this now and get this. Not only are we dealing with shame, but then King James says uh then for your confusion. The English Standard Version said dishonor. It's the same thing when you define it. Because in the Hebrew, you got to get this. This confusion or dishonor is really some of the same meaning as shame. Right? And some of the same men that shame, but you add to that reproach.

But then there are two distinctions that stand out with confusion or dishonor. And that first one is to insult and taunt. To insult and taunt. And the second one is to wound and hurt. Lord, look at this. So, so he says the first thing is shame. That's just that's embarrassment. that that is delay. That's that's becoming dry. That's disappointment. That's all of that. But then he says the confusion or dishonor, the taunting, the hurt, the wounds that came as a result, the insult that came as a result of what you thought you should have been and you not.

Yes. Yes, sir. Yes. I thought I would have been in a different place by this age in my life. I I thought that that I would have been happily married by now. I thought my relationship would have lasted forever. I thought I would have been healthier. I thought things would have been different. Are are y'all feeling me? It's cuz cuz it's all about what should have been, what you thought was supposed to be, targets that were missed. Yeah, it it is it is dealing with delay, denial. It is dealing with disappointment. The Bible says hope deferred makes the heart sick.

And the truth be told, we got some people in here looking good, dressed up, educated, but you are disappointed. You are sick cuz your hope been deferred. You've had to deal with insult. And what makes it worse is when you testify Yes, sir about what you believe God's going to do. And then people are still looking and saying, "But I thought you said I I thought you told me. I thought this was supposed to happen to you." Are y'all hearing me here? Come on. I I came to keep it real. We almost done now. Uh-uh.

And he says he says that's what he's dealing with. That That is what he's dealing with. And God says to them, he says, "I'm not going to focus on your shame. I'm I'm not I'm not I'm not here to beat you up about missing it. I'm not here to beat you up about coming dry and being delayed and disappointed. I'm not here to add insult to injury. I'm not here to highlight those things. He said in the first 39 chapters, I dealt with that. But we're in the turning point now. Now I'm here to fix and compensate.

Okay. Listen. He He says, "I'm I'm here to compensate." So he says he starts off and says, "For your shame, I'm getting double." All right. Now, now now hear me everybody. I I'm I'm I know in especially in the African-American church, you know, we like this stuff cuz it makes us hype. Tell your neighbor, "I'm about to get double." No, this ain't hype. And that's why I'm calm right now cuz cuz I ain't trying to hype you. I'm trying to give you the word of the Lord. This is why I wrestled because I wanted to make sure that I was saying what God was saying. But no, his word said it and it was very clear. I couldn't get away from it. God said, "I'm getting ready to give you double."

Okay, y'all. Y'all don't believe it. Go go go back to Job real quick. The Bible said that Job lost everything. But when we flip to the end of the book, Lord have mercy. In chapter 42, the Bible said Job got twice as much as Okay, y'all y'all still don't have it. The Bible says Job got twice as much as he had before. I just need you to look at somebody, put two fingers up, and just tell them double. Double, double, double, double, double.

Um um uh but but here we go cuz I'm promise I'm almost done. Uh give me like five minutes. We're going to wrap this up. Um part of the compensation first of all is the devil. The devil. Y'all got that? Part of it is the devil, but then we got to go further. He says the next part is the ability to rejoice in what belongs to you. It's it's it's in the text. Look at the second part of it. It says, "For your shame, you get double, but for your confusion, you get to rejoice in your portion."

Okay. Okay. Let Let's Come on. Let me break this down cuz cuz if we going to rejoice, we need to know what we're rejoicing about. This is inheritance. This is your portion. This is your share. In other words, are y'all still don't have it? Compensation is the release of promise and the release of what was promised. Possession of what is rightfully yours is attached to the compensation.

Are y'all getting this? Cuz I need y'all to get this as I close. That's why I'm being sober. I need y'all to get this as I close. Because what God is saying is he says, "Not only am I going to give you double, cuz we would think that's the part to shout about, but this is not just shouting because I'm getting double. I'm also shouting because I am going to get what's mine."

All right. Y'all understand this? An inheritance can't go to anybody but to the one who has been designated for it. and especially when there's a will in place. You can try to contest it, but at the end of the day, this is legally binding. It belongs to me. All right? See, some of y'all got quiet now because you don't act like you know it belongs to you, but look at your neighbor and tell them it's legally mine. This ain't conjecture. I'm telling you what my name is on.

And the enemy knew that he could not y'all y'all hear hear it now. He tried to delay it, but because it's mine, you can't have what's mine. So God says, "Part of your compensation package is not only giving you double, but I'm getting ready to give you what's yours." Now, now get this. Get this. This means that God is uprooting anything and anybody that is unlawfully occupying what's mine. Glory to God. By God's help, we are dispossession dis dispossessing anything and anyone who is occupying what is legally ours. By God help, we are seizing and laying hold of what is allocated for us. But the part that makes me happy about it is not simply I'm going to get it. The Bible says for your confusion, you get to enjoy it. You get to rejoice.

Okay, y'all going to get it after a while. I I got to I got to get out of here. Y'all going to get it after a while. I'm not just going to get it, but when you see me, I'mma have joy. I get to rejoice in what's mine. I'm done. Woo. Look at somebody and tell them. And y'all y'all y'all remember and I know I'm dating myself. I know they don't do this stuff cuz most kids don't even play outside no more. Uh but but but when we used to play tag um back in the day uh uh cuz that's how you know we was healthy. These kids, they look at the TV and the phones. Look, Lord have mercy. But but in my day, they made us go outside. They they made us play outside and and we had to be creative and find games cuz we ain't had no phones back then and all that stuff. So we had games like tag and and duck duck goose and stuff like that. And and what's crazy is uh in those moments uh what would happen is uh in those moments uh if a person tried to get you and they miss you, we would used to Now this is us now. Y'all y'all know got a little different culture, but we would say stuff like, "Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, you couldn't get me."

We we we and and and and this is what I heard in the Holy Ghost that that the way we can understand this in rejoicing in what's yours is like looking at the enemy saying, "Nah, nah, no, nah, nah. You tried to hold up what's mine. You thought I wasn't going to get here. Oh, no. I made some mistakes. I haven't been perfect. There's some things I could have done better. You thought you was going to slow it down because I had to deal with some hardships and I had to deal with some betrayal and I had to deal with some circumstances that slowed me up, dried up some stuff. But no, no, no, no. I'm here anyway. I need you to give somebody high five and tell them I made it anyway.

Tell somebody, "I made it. I made it." Move out of your seat if you don't mind. We getting ready to go home. Find two more people and tell them we made it. We made it. We made it. We made it. We made it. Anyway, hell and high water, but we made it anyway. Challenge on every side, but we made it anyway. Talked about me, but I made it anyway. Made some mistakes, but I made it anyway. And now that I'm here, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Tell your neighbor, "This is the Lord's doing. This is the Lord's doing." Woo! I said, "This is the Lord's doing."

All right, I'm done. I ain't going to finish this, but let me just close with this. I'm I'm I'm closing with this. Let me make these final statements and I'm done. We are about to get what was supposed to come if we had not experienced what we experienced. Let me say this again. I need y'all to hear me as I close this message. We are about to get what was supposed to come if we had not experienced what we experienced. I know that's going to sound weird, but this is this is what I heard. This is a supposed to anointing. What I was supposed to drive, where I was supposed to live, what I was supposed to have, the opportunities I was supposed to enjoy. This is my supposed anointing. Look at somebody and tell them you have just walked into a supposed to anointing. You are going to get what was supposed to come. You are about to enjoy what you were supposed to enjoy. You get ready to live like you were supposed to live. You get ready to preach like you were supposed to preach. No matter what the devil did, what's supposed to happen is getting ready to happen.

Last thing, last thing and I'm done. Here's the last thing. It's it's all in the text, y'all. He says the next thing he says is that that you're going to enjoy double. He repeats it because this second one is God saying what is coming, I'm doubling that. I'm I'm told I'm done. That just went over some of y'all head. Whatever is coming is now times two. I know some of y'all don't believe it cuz you've been so without for so long, but I just need you to raise your faith. And the crazy part about this is this is in response to how you handled the crisis. This is the response to how I handle the tears. This is the response to how I handle the disappointment. This is the response to how I handle the betrayal. This is the response to how I handle the hardships. This is the response to how I handle the sickness. This is the response to how I handle the family trauma. This is the response. This is God's response.

And he say you're going to have everlasting joy. Psalms 119:89 says, "Oh Lord, thy word is forever settled in heaven." So, this speaks to a settling of what cannot be overturned. In other words, what this is, everybody please hear this and I'm done. I promise I'm done. What this is is, get this, it's a judgment. Anybody ever been to court? I don't care how much is going back and forth. When that judge takes that gavl and hits that counter, whatever was is settled. I'm I'm just trying to give it to you as God gave it to you. I'm I'm I promise I'm done. But but today the Lord said that he as the eternal judge has hit his gavvel and the matter is settled. That means this and this one can't be appealed. This one can't be appealed. Your enemies can't appeal this. You can't even appeal this. God said this is my decision. I am God said this is my decision.

Hear me cuz I'm not trying to get the music to do this for us. I'm not saying we won't dance, but I don't need the music to do it for us. I need us to respond accordingly. Hallelujah. Hey. Cuz the truth be told, even though I'm in it, the worst part is over. Y'all got to hear the word of the Lord. Look at somebody and tell them, "I know we're still in it, but tell them the worst is over. You have responded correctly to the crisis. Now you give permission to joy in your blessing. I need somebody give God praise for what God said is yours.

Hold on one second. Some of y'all waiting to feel something. This ain't about feeling. I told you when you have understanding, there is a corresponding behavior. I don't need to feel nothing right now. I just need to understand that God has given me a reservation for two and I get to boldly enjoy my next season. Now, if you don't dance, you got to at least clap your hands. But everybody celebrate your own self. This is for you. Celebrate your own self. Double devil. Double devil. Double devil. You paid for this. You suffered for this. You endured for this. You cried for this. You went through for this. Crying up. You got a right to celebrate. We going to move in a minute, but take 60 seconds and everybody clap your hands. It's your time. It's your turn. You responded right. Now you get to enjoy. You get to rejoice because you responded correctly. You responded correctly. No more delay. No more delay. No more delay. I feel the power of God in here. This ain't been emotional. We are celebrating God's response. This ain't even just about the devil. We are celebrating God's response. He sees me. He understands me. Now he's responding to me. God is responding. Heat up here. I'm celebrating God's response. I'm celebrating God's response. This ain't about stuff. This is about God. When I didn't think God saw me, when I didn't think God paid attention, when I thought God forgot about me, he responded to me. Heat up here. I want to be clear. Just look at your neighbor and I'm I'm done. But look at somebody beside you and tell them I'm not being emotional. Tell them I'm being responsive. This I've been saying it, but I want to be very clear. This is not about the stuff. This dance that you see us doing, it ain't about the stuff. Cuz I live this long without the stuff. Which means I can make it if I don't have the stuff. But what I'm celebrating is God responding to me. I didn't think you saw me like you see me. I didn't think when I was doing what I was doing mattered. I did it

When nobody was looking. But I want to say thank you for seeing me. Thank you. Thank you.

[Music]

We got to go. All right. Uh, we're going to try to I want to I want to I want to I want to be clear about this. Hold that for a second. I want to be clear about this, cuz I know that there is a mixed group here today, of those that understand and those who are still processing, understanding. And it would be irresponsible of me to think that everybody is on the same page. That's right.

So, I need to pause for a moment and pray before I take my seat. Yes, Lord. For the people that need time, cuz you're still processing your crisis. It doesn't take anything away from you. It doesn't cancel anything that God is getting ready to do. He's still responding. But sometimes I got to just be real and say, "God, I need you to help me respond correctly to my crisis."

[Music]

I I I share this not for pity, so I don't want anybody have pity, but let me just share what I'm saying. In June of this year, I lost my mother. It's not something you really get over, you know, all that deep stuff. No, that was my mama. And catch me on the right day in the right moment, is is not good. But my tears now are not what it was back then. As much as it hurt, God still watched how I responded. And this is the part that I want to get to as I'm praying. And this only reason I I brought this up. What you see with me today, even my praise and the disposition that I have, I didn't have this the whole time. I've only been a few weeks back at this place. Now, I need this to sink in cuz I think sometimes you see people do it and you think it's easy until you hear the story. And I'm only sharing this because I felt the Holy Ghost because I wasn't going to bring it up, but I felt the Holy Ghost uh urged me to do it because I need somebody to understand and see it exemplified that God gives you time to process. My feet were heavy for months. I didn't have a praise. I would worship. But I I didn't have it for months. I did not have it. I don't care what I did. I don't care how powerful it was. I was sensitive to God's move, but I I didn't have it because of how it affected me. I was still managing my crisis.

Here's here's why I want to pray like this and this is why I'm being sober in this prayer because I feel some of you in this room right now. I feel you in the Holy Ghost. Yes, Lord. And the reality is right now in the Holy Ghost, you are doing your best to manage your situation. Lord, and the Lord put it on my heart cuz I was I was I was done, but I couldn't move because the Lord put on my heart to pray. And I want you to grab somebody by the hand. If they will let you, if they don't let you, it's okay. I want you to grab somebody by the hand because I need them to know that they're not by themselves. I need them to feel the hand of somebody who is and has processed crises themselves. I need them to feel the hand of somebody so that they will know it is possible to respond correctly. I'm going to pray, but I want to say this so y'all understand because I know y'all say, "Well, you you're the pastor and you the bishop and you anoint it and you don't." No, I'm human.

[Music]

Did I have opportunities? Did I have thoughts? Yes. But you don't have to give into it cuz at the end of the day, God is watching. And God says, I give grace to the humble.

[Music]

So today, I don't expect you to be above feeling what you feel. Just for like two minutes, I want us to pray fervently for the hand that you hold because you're not going to blow this. As your brother and sister, we going to cover you. You're not going to blow this. Squeeze a hand and tell them that as we pray, tell them you're not going to blow this. You're not. You're not going to blow this. Tell that person on the other side and we're praying now. Tell them, "You are not going to blow this. We We not going to let you blow this. You're You're not going to blow this." Begin to pray right now. Come on, pray. Pray. Pray. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Pray. You don't may he not have the words. Just say, "Lord, help."

Father, in Jesus name, we thank you for your visitation. Thank you for what you have said and done in this room today. Lord, we are here. We're not just shouting and dancing. We recognize your response. We thank you, Father, for giving us the wherewithal to be able to respond. Thank you, Father, that you have given everything to us that pertains to life and godliness. You've given us everything to know how to manage even when crisis come. We thank you, Father, because we understand now that the crisis came to grow us and to evolve us and to mature us. Father, we want to say thank you for the opportunity to grow, to evolve, and mature. But as I hold my neighbor's hand, Lord, my neighbor is struggling right now. As I hold my neighbor's hand, my neighbor is still working through some things right now. And as I hold my neighbor's hand, my neighbor, Father, is still processing some things and and there are thoughts that are being suggested to my neighbor that they have to withstand and disregard. So, Father, first I pray for their mind. In the name of Jesus, we bind every whispering spirit, every suggestion from the enemy, we bind it in the name of Jesus. Lord, now I pray for their emotions. I pray for their heart. I pray for the effect on them that this may have in the name of Jesus. Father, I even pray for the spiritual ramifications that this can have. But Father, as I squeeze their hand, I squeeze strength into their hand. As I squeeze their hand, I squeeze life into their hand. As I squeeze that hand, I squeeze wisdom into that hand. As I squeeze their hand, I squeeze into their hand the grace to endure. Let fresh anointing come on my neighbor now to hang in there. I squeeze healing into their hand in the name of Jesus. We're not going to blow this. They're not going to mess this up. They're not going to miss it this time. We thank you, Father, that they're going to respond appropriately. They going to grow from this. They're going to come out of this like pure gold. They're going to come out of this better than they went in. They're going to come out of this wiser than what they went in. They're going to come out of this. And I thank you cuz we will come out. We will survive. We will make it. We will grow. We will be better in Jesus name.

Let go of the hand. Open up your mouth and praise up.

[Music]

Do me a favor. That same hand that you prayed for, we're done. I want you to wrap your arms around him and tell them, "You will come out of this." All right. Wrap your arms around him. Just tell them you will come out of this. All right. Come on. Minister to that person. We're moving y'all. We're done. But tell them you will come out of this. All right. Find one more person you ain't talked to. Even if you got to move out of your seat, we're done. But find that last person and tell them you will come out of this. All right.

[Applause]

You will. I said you will. I said you will. Lord, I felt the power of God. I got to I got to get out of here. You will come out of this.

[Music]

[Applause]

I know we got we got to move. Let me just hold your hand. I know you're working, but I just need to pray for you just for a second. I I know I know you're working, but the Holy Ghost highlighted you to me, and I just came to minister to you, to tell you, you going to make it through this. And I know as challenging as it may be and the truth be told, everybody may not even know because of how you keep yourself together. But God said to tell you, I see. Hey, not only do I see, but I got you. And I release strength to you now. Hey, in the name of Jesus, strength, strength, strength and grace to come out of this battle. I speak healing to your heart and your mind. Healing now in the name of Jesus. I got to go. I'm going.

[Music]

I keep telling y'all the Lord is here. It's more than about shouting and the dance. He comes to heal the brokenhearted. The Lord is here to minister to you. If you just take a moment and worship, you're going to feel the ministering power of God. He's strengthening you now. He's here to help you. You will get through this.

[Music]

We going to get through this. We are going to get through this. We will get through this. This is not the first time we have been through stuff. If he did it before, he's going to do it again. I'm trying to go. I feel the Holy Ghost. Can I just pray for you? Strength, my brother. I just speak strength in the name of Jesus. I just speak strength. I speak strength. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. You're like a quiet giant. You don't say everything. But today is a day of release for you for the things that you've been curing in your heart. Today is a day of release. Today is a day of release cuz God's getting ready to deal with the matters of your heart. God's getting ready to address the things that you've been concerned with and God's getting ready to turn it and it's getting ready to work in your favor. I need somebody to open your mouth. I know I feel so much glory in the room. I promise I'm trying to let it go, but I just need to just lay my hands. I say strength is in the room. Hey, I said strength is in the room. Hey, I said shrimp. Hey, shut down. Hey, strength is in the room. Strength is in the room. Strength. Strength. Power of God be on you now. Power of God be with you now. Hey, hang tough. It's just about over. Hangs tough. It's just about over. stripped to endure this last phase of the journey and you get ready to see what it was all about. Hey, God's getting ready to make it make sense to you. You didn't go through this for nothing. Hey, that's all right.

I want to I want to bless God with our giving. But before we do, will you just lift those hands all over this room? Come on, lift your hands all over this room. Seal this moment with worship.

[Music]

Y'all, I feel the presence of God. I'm telling you, it's a it's an anointing in here that's helping to undergard. It's an anointing in here that's helping to carry through. We going to get all the stuff and we going to get the devil, but God has given us an anointing of grace that is being released right now as we worship.

[Applause]

Father, I thank you cuz you are in this room. You are with us. And even as we're in this room, thank you that you're even ministering online. You're sending strength to wherever they're watching right now in the name of Jesus. Cuz you're not limited to space and time. Yeah, I'm not present. You're everywhere at the same time. Just like you sent your word and heal, we send the word now. Wherever they are watching, we send the word now. We send the word now in the name of Jesus.

Listen, I want to do this. Don't come out the spirit. Don't change your tone. I'm not going to have no lines. We're going to give at one time. Honestly, today I don't really have an amount to tell you. And I will not manipulate this moment and operate without integrity. What I do know is we need to sew. Lord, I want everybody to get the best seed that you can. Lord, some can do a hundred. Some can do 50. Some could do more than that based upon what God has done. Some of you may only have $10, $20 to give. I want you to get the best seed that you can. We still are a tithing church. I said we still are a tithing church. So the offering is not your tithe. So, if you haven't tithed, we want you to tithe at this moment, too. But I want everybody to get the best seed cuz we're going to all walk to the altar. We're not having lines. This is this is not that. This is not a fundraiser. Lord, this is the power of God. And we sew into the anointing. Lord, we sew into I feel God's presence. We sew into the anointing. Get that seed quickly. Y'all know how to give. Get that seed quickly cuz everybody's getting ready to walk together. It's not about touching me. I have no promises to give you. I need you to speak. Spend a moment. Ask God what you should give. And we're going to give that. This is a spirit-led church and we're going to give according to the will of God. Yes, Lord. Take just 30 seconds. We're not going to drag it out because the anointing is here. Lord, thank you for telling us what to give. And we now say yes, Lord. and we're going to give according to what you have put in our spirits Lord in Jesus name. I need everybody right now. I know we have ushers and all that stuff but today I just need you to come touch the altar. Put your cash in the basket. Y'all know how to give. Everybody begin to move. Everybody should be giving right now. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody come put it in the basket. Hallelujah. ify the prophetic seed. And if you're giving onlify, do it under the prophetic seed. The prophetic seed. Do it under prophetic seed. As you come, worship as you go back to your seat. We're not just putting money in a basket, y'all. We're not just putting money in a basket. This is worship. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Go right back to your seats. We dismiss an order. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God receives your seeds today. He receives it in the spirit in which you're given it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. continue to worship as you go back to your seat. Glory, glory. Father, we seal this. Thank you for every seed that's been given, every sacrifice that's been made in Jesus name.
