Hey friends, Joel back. I wanted to continue my son science series today and talk about Pisces man. Some of the characteristics and traits that we see with somebody with their son sign in Pisces who is a male. So I break up the Sun Sign series here between sexes because oftentimes you will see the style of this the Sun is different for men and women. So I like to do them a little bit separately so we can be a little bit more detailed.
And the Sun is our ego, our personality, that is our expression. The ascendant is really, you know, the face we show to the world, how the world sees us, how we automatically are. The Sun is really our identity, what we want you to see me as, you know, or what the ego itself identifies us. So the Sun comes through the lens of Pisces, the filter of Pisces. When we have the Sun in any sign, it's very much, you know, colored by whatever sign is coming through. So Pisces is, you know, that energy of the twelfth house, that boundless, structureless, all-encompassing spiritual energy that's really about all-accepting the big mysteries. There's a big picture.
And when we have a man who has his identity, expression, ego coming through this very difficult to describe or get ahold of or understand type of energy, we could see a man that is actually quite high maintenance. These men have a lot of feelings and a lot of expectations in life and a lot of dreams. And they are not generally as grounded as other men. Now, there are a few days out of Pisces that, like the third, there's a few more in there that are very much more concrete than the rest of the days in Pisces. So there are some people born throughout Pisces season that are more direct than others. But generally, these men are seekers. The Sun is really not as fixed on an identity or as on an ego structure in Pisces as it is in other signs. So they are more changeable, or more rearranged, that they are more teachable as well.
So, you know, Pisces is a feminine sign. Neptune is a very romantic planet. And so these men tend to have more feminine qualities and characteristics in them than other men. You can see some of that in cancer too. Cancer men also. So they often look to females or women. Even if it's a man who prefers other men, a lot of times you will see them even gravitating towards relationships with females for a certain amount of understanding or camaraderie. So they, there's a repair, an ease of a peer relationship between Pisces men and almost all women because they do feel oftentimes more connected to females than may men. With Neptune in the first house, too, a lot the same.
And Pisces men really look to females to bring them a sense of solidity yourself or to have something to anchor to. And very much when they're looking for a mate, they're looking for somebody that has a sense of solidity or a sense of stability that they are very much missing. Pisces man is really not good at being direct. There are some days out of the month that are more direct than others. Typically, he is more concerned with how he appears in a caring or compassionate fashion. So you have to look at everything because, you know, you could have somebody that has, you know, like a really close Mars Saturn square, like a Mercury Mars square, and they're gonna be really direct and might even, you know, be more prone to hurt feelings. So you have to consider everything in a birth chart. But just the Sun in itself really does lend man to have more of a compassion when it comes to dealing with people. And they want to be viewed themselves as compassionate as well.
So it's really common for Pisces man to stay in relationships to please the other while they see the inside that they are not being let go or they're not being free or they're not being recognized. As big miserable Pisces women were guilty of this than Pisces men because he's not one that is so apt to cut the cord as other men are. Pisces man can find himself pleasing in a relationship when his feelings, you know, his mental bags have been packed for a while. So it's important to pay attention to how he's behaving. You know, if he's with you, he's crabby or, you know, short with you or, you know, he doesn't make a lot of eye contact with you. He'll say things that are indirectly insulting. That is a man who is unhappy but thinks that he has to be there to make you happy. So it's important to, if you see this kind of behavior, let that man go because he already done been gone.
So it's common for Pisces men to spend, there's either two types. There's either always in a relationship and they get in early and they stay in that relationship, or they spend way more time out of a relationship than in relationships. It's also common to see a lot of Pisces men who have a very serious relationship early on in their life that ends and then you see them go for a long, long period of time with no relationship or with relationships that are more transient, shorter, not so serious. So, you know, there is this drive in a Pisces man to have the big dream. They are not always practical. And especially when it comes to what they think they want in a partner, not generally practical. They want it all. They really are whatever sign is in Pisces or in the 12th house or conjunct Neptune or an aspect and Neptune is really gonna want the big dream, the idealistic love. And they want to marry if it's the dream come true. They do not want to settle.
And Pisces man can actually be alone because of this. He can be more prone to deciding to, you know, turn down a good relationship or not being a good relationship because it's not the best. Pisces a woman too. So they can be impractical when it comes to what they think life is or what they think they're gonna get. And there can be a depressive state that accompanies people with their Sun in Pisces because their expectations are so big and life can only deliver so much. And so Pisces actually like each other a lot of the time because they can go a long way towards at least attempting to fulfill those big dreams or those, there's big ones, there's big desires of the great love. So you see Pisces together a lot.
And Pisces men do tend to prefer older partners, older women, older caretakers as partners, those who can give them structure. They don't a lot of times have good habits when they're alone. But when they can get with a partner who is more, you know, regular structure to concrete, that can often provide the missing link that they mean towards, you know, getting on the ball when it comes to their, their daily habits or you making sure that they have some kind of routine. So it's really interesting to have, but someone's ego in because this is really a sign that is not about ego and is not about identity. And so this is somebody's actual ego and identity coming trying to come through that lance. It's not about those things. So it makes for a complex Sun sign because of that, you know, that balance we're trying to achieve there.
So these are really interesting people, typically very dreamy, easy to get along with, but high-maintenance. They need a lot. They have a lot of needs. They can require a lot in order to be happy. And it's really, really, really common for men with their son and Pisces to have bulgy eyes, eyes that pop out like a fish, or you can actually see the roundness of the eyes. You can see that sometimes in Pisces ascendant too. And you actually think it would be more common Pisces ascendant. I see it more with Pisces Sun than Pisces ascendant. So you see those bulgy eyes, quite possible somebody got their Sun in Pisces.
