[Music] [Music] Right? Anybody remember what your grandma used to use to make like pie dough? Lord. Lord. Then they told a Lord wasn't any good. So what'd she use? Krisco.

And then they found out Krisco didn't just work good in baked goods. It worked good in all those processed refined food. So it's in all of them. The crackers, the cakes, the the you know the bread, everything. It's called usually hydrogenated vegetable oil. And for the last since 1970, it's been in everything. So that's shortening. And we're all going to agree that shortening we know is junk food, right?

But now let's look at this blue line because that's the salad oils, the vegetable oils where you have like olive and canola. You know, the ones they say are healthy and good for you. Well, I'm not going to argue with you tonight whether they're good for you or not. We'll do that on Saturday night. Okay? But what I want you to do is to see what happened to the consumption. It's up 225%. That means we all eat over twice the amount of these salad oils.

Now, good or bad, does anybody know what oil has more of than any other food per ounce per gram? Calories. So, think about it. In 1970, in the 70s, we all went on a diet, but we consumed twice the amount of the food per person that has more calories than any other food. You think that would have helped us or hindered our efforts, not counting the fact that we ate 68% more of the one that will also kill us. So, that's fat.

Now, look at this. This is what somebody over here said a few minutes ago. This is cheese products. This is eye opening. Total cheese is up almost 300%. American cheese is up a little bit, around 81%, other cheeses are up around 428. [Music]
