All right. Judges chapter 6. If you have your Bible, Judges chapter 6. We're going to read verse 11 to verse 16. But as I preach, I'm going to navigate around some other verses. Judges chapter 6. From verse 11 to verse 16. We know our custom here. When I read a verse, you read the next verse. But we will get to the final verse. We'll read it together. So we read verse 16 together. But when I start verse 11, you do verse 12. We go on like that.
And there came an angel of the Lord and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah that pertained to Joash the Abiezrite and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress to hide it from the Midianites.
Read verse 12. And Gideon said unto him, "Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befalling us? Where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of saying? Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? But now the Lord had forsaken us and delivered us into the hand of the Midianites."
And he said unto him, "Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel, because my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house."
Let's verse 16. And the Lord said unto him, "Surely I will be with thee, and thou shall smite the Midianites as one man."
I'm speaking to you on what I titled mighty but hidden. Mighty but hidden. Mighty but hidden. We want to welcome all those who are watching online and connecting to us. The Lord bless you. Somebody shout, say the Lord bless you. The Lord bless you. To all those watching online around the world. Mighty but hidden. Say that again. Mighty hidden. One more time. One more time. For the last time, God has put deposits on everyone and in everyone that is born and sent to this world. When you were born and created, you were created naked, not empty. You were created naked, not empty. You were created open, not stranded.
What does it mean to be mighty? To be mighty is to be a person of relevance. What does it mean to be mighty? To be mighty is to be an individual of importance. What does it mean to be mighty? To be mighty is to be an individual who has a signature of success. What does it mean to be mighty? To be mighty is to leave your footprint on the sands of time. What does it mean to be mighty? To be mighty is to live a life that makes a statement. But the Bible says there was a man who was mighty but he was hiding behind the winepress.
What does it mean to be hidden? To be hidden means to be relegated. To be hidden means is to be behind the scene. To be hidden means to be obscure. To be hidden means is to be covered. To be hidden means to be restricted. To be hidden means to be prevented. To be hidden means to be stopped.
You know the Bible says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your what?" Talk to me. They may see your what? Your good works and give glory to who? What does that mean? Let your light so shine that when men see your good works, when they see what happens through your life, when they see what comes out of you, when they see what you have become, when they see your achievement, when they see your prospect, when they see your prosperity, when they see your announcement, when they see your achievement and they see your age, when they see your achievement and they see your degree, when they see your achievement and they see your family background. They know that there is no correlation between your achievement and your age. So because of that, they don't give you glory. They give glory to God to say that this thing happening through this person is not a function of experience. It's not a function of academics. It's not a function of his family background because this is too much to be a connection of a man. So they give God glory.
Hear me. As you walk with God, there are four things that are important in your life. And when you understand these four things, you enjoy the benefits of unction. You enjoy the benefit of manifestation. Number one is passion. Somebody say passion. Talk to me. Say passion. Say that again. Say it again. Say it again. I say it again. Passion is putting pressure on an unction with the intention to connect manifestation. Passion is putting pressure on an unction with the intention to connect manifestation.
In Luke 5 and verse one, the Bible says, "And they pressed on him to hear the word." They put pressure on Jesus to hear the word. When you put pressure on the word of God, you enjoy pleasure in this word. When you put pressure on God's word, you enjoy pleasure in this world. Everything you do for God must be with passion, must take your energy, must take your totality, must take your entirety. Anything we do for God must take everything about us. Am I talking to somebody now? It must take our totality. It must take our strength. It must take our commitment. Passion is commitment. Passion is functionality. Passion is totality. Passion is entirety. So anything you do for God must consume you.
Number two is perception. Perception. Perception. Perception. Sir, Elijah was a man of God. As a man of God. He was walking past a house, walking past a location. Every day people saw him until one day in 2 Kings 4:9, a woman looked and said, "I perceive that this man is a holy man of God." I perceive that this man. That woman was a barren woman. She had no child. It means that every day as Elisha was passing by, the woman's child was passing by. As Elisha was passing by, the fruit of the womb was passing by. As Elisha was passing by, a pregnancy was passing by. As Elisha was passing by, her production was passing by. As Elisha was passing by, what to make her a mother was passing by. Until one day, she perceived that this is a man of God.
In John chapter 4:19, Jesus was talking to that woman. It got to a point the woman said, "I perceive that you are a prophet." What does it mean to perceive? Is to see beyond the natural. Is to pick what the optical eyes cannot see. What does it mean to perceive? Is to see with the third eye. To see into the supernatural. Sir, many people are not blessed because they have no functionality for perception. They don't know how to perceive. They don't know how to understand. Do you know if you study 2 Kings chapter 4, there was a man who died as a prophet. The man was close to Elijah. The man, do you know Elisha was? Elisha was the man who parted the Jordan. All he said is, "Where is the Lord God of Elijah?" He knew the code. Not only did he know the code, he had the rod and it parted. Do you know who Elijah was? Elijah was the man that said by this time tomorrow. He was not an economist. He was not the finance minister. He was not an agriculturalist. But he could determine the price of market value. He could determine the price of crops in the market because he carries something. Yet someone was around Elisha and yet he died a debtor because he could not perceive. Am I communicating right now?
Jesus was walking. Everyone was pressing him. Only one touched and Jesus perceived that something left him. Can I say this to you? Perception draws virtue by force. Perception draws out virtue by force. Even if virtue refuses to flow willingly. When you understand perception, you can draw virtue. Am I communicating? The Bible said Jesus said, "Something left me." Something came out of my body because a woman perceived that this one is the healer. This one carries my answer. This one carries solution. This one carries intervention. This one carries my turnaround. This one carries emancipation. This one carries my deliverance. This one carries my upliftment. This one carries my announcement. And she drew. And the Bible says that she was healed before then. The Bible says she perceived and set in her heart. Meaning action does not check your face. Does not check your mouth. It checks your heart. So if virtue must flow, you must connect with your heart. You can be around an anointing. Your mouth is saying something but your heart is saying something else. Now the anointing does not check what is in your mouth. It checks what is in your heart.
Do you know the Bible says in 2 Samuel 6:16 there was a woman called Michal who despised David in her heart. Another translation, The Message translation, said she scorned at him. She was filled with scorn when she saw David. She was angry. Anything that makes you angry at your covering wants to strip you naked. Anything that makes you angry, filled with rage, wants to ruin you. Anything that makes you angry, filled with pain at an anointing, wants to destroy you. Sir, to despise covering is to go stranded. To despise covering is to go naked. The Bible says that she perceived and many of us don't know that you can never get unction, the full manifestation, until you can perceive. Let me tell five people. Perceive. [Music] I'm not hearing you. I'm not hearing you. I'm not hearing you. The the the the anointing of God checks our hearts. The Bible says, "And Elisha, he said to Gehazi, 'Was my spirit not with you?'" Am I communicating? So you can stay. Do you know? Can I talk to you now? One of the things that kills perception is familiarity. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. One of the things that kills perception is focus on the humanity and losing sensitivity of the divinity. Are you aware? Am I communicating here? Are you aware? Talk to me now. Are you aware that Jesus, you hardly see emphasis on his humanity while he was here? The more emphasis we see is on the supernatural. We only saw a few parts when they say Jesus was hungry, he saw a fig tree. He was angry, he turned money changers. He was asleep, finished. Every other thing was about what? You know why? So that you don't get too familiar with his divinity, with his humanity and miss his divinity. So that you don't get too familiar with his humanity. So the humanity was taken from you. Only the divinity was exposed so that you can understand how not to be too familiar.
When the priests carried the ark, they were instructed, "As you bear the ark, stay far from the people. Let the people see you from afar." Why? If you are in the midst of them, they see you as one of them. When they see you as one of them, they treat you as one of them. And when they treat you as one of them, the power to make the earth presentable is withered. So stay far so as they see you from afar, there is value. Familiarity is a killer of perception. Familiarity is a killer of manifestation. Sir, no matter how close you are to an anointed, it can still punish you. No matter how close you are to an anointing, it can still judge you. Am I talking to somebody here?
When I got married to my wife, I said to her, I said, "Look at me. I am your husband, but you have to create your mind for two dimensions. There is the husband and there is the man of God. If you see me as a husband only and you don't see me as a man of God, this anointing cannot bless you." We honor ministers of God not because of what they are, but because of what they carry. You honor your pastor not because of his age, not because of his qualification, but because of what is inside him. He will honor the wife not because of her age, not because she's even married to the pastor, but knowing that there is oil on her head. That is what you honor. I have been around [Music] under God, under God, under God, with all glory to God. With all glory to God. With all glory to God. One on one. I have met over 20 African presidents. One on one. With all glory to God. I've met them. I have traveled to over 120 nations in my life. I have been there. But when I see my father, when I see my mentor, I prostrate flat. I have I don't shake them. They bring their hand, I bring my head. They bring their hand, I bring my back. I go flat. Why? There is something they carry that I am seeing. I'm not seeing the container. I'm seeing the content. I perceive there is something I want to correct. That is why you can't take me out because I understand the law of perception. Am I talking to somebody right now? That's what saved Gideon. That's what saved Gideon. He said he said our fathers. Gideon didn't say our parents. It's our fathers told us, not our parents. Even though Gideon's biological father, it could not have been his biological father that told him about the miracles of God because the biological father was an idol worshipper. Oh, nobody's following what I'm talking about. It could not have been the biological father who told him the dimensions of what God did in Israel, in Egypt, because the biological father was an idol worshipper. Though Gideon was stranded, he took to heart the instruction of fathers. Though Gideon was in pain, he took to cognizance the instruction of fathers. He was saying as an entity, the only property I have is my submission to fatherhood. I don't have a car. I don't have a house, but I'm submitted to a father. I'm submitted to an unction. And because I'm submitted to that unction, I have a future. Because I'm submitted to that unction, I can't fail. Because I'm submitted to that unction, I will function. Because I'm submitted to that unction, I will get balance. Am I communicating [Applause] now?
Anybody that you get in contact with and he or she opens her mouth and by reason of the utterances from their mouth, your value for unction reduces, that person is an agent targeted at making you naked. Anyone that opens his mouth, opens her mouth and the value you have for your pastor drops, the honor drops, the importance drops. That is targeted at you, not your pastor. One time we did so much advert and my father and the Lord was supposed to be here and a lot of noise was going on and he called me. We spoke for a long time on the phone and we both agreed that he shouldn't come. I said, "Let me change this. I don't want them to drag you into it. Let me handle it. It's nothing. I I'll be fine. I'll be fine. No, no problem. But sir, I don't want you to come into it." And at the end, it was not in the program. People said all kinds of things. Pastors were angry. "How can your father? This is the time you need him. Why didn't you show up? Why did they do that?" All kinds of statements. People were defeated. And I said to them, "A father cannot be wrong. Don't get me wrong. A father may make mistakes, but to you, never see a father wrong for your own good." I said, "A father cannot be wrong." I was not angry. I continued doing my sonship duty. I continued doing my sonship in opposition. I continued paying loyalty. People met me to get words from my mouth. "How do you feel?" "We are not happy." I was excited. My wife is here. She said, "Honey, are you?" I say, "I'm too okay. I am happy. Everything is fine." It was a test of my loyalty. I maintained my connection. One day I sat in my house on my own. I got a call. This was about a year later or two years later. He said, "Daddy, I should tell you, he will be with you next tomorrow." Oh, that was how he came here. I said, "Who? How?" He said, "God told him that he should be with you next tomorrow." I said, "But we no announcement, no nothing. His weekly service is this." He said he's not coming because of the people. He's coming to just see you. I was seated. Loyalty pays to be offended to be entitled. This is what this ministry should do for me. This is what this person should do for me. And the enemy makes you bitter. This your bitterness. Why not convert it to prayer? You have been bitter at your pastor. Nothing has happened. Why not start praying and see if something will not happen? Perception. A church is being built and everybody's happy. Then somebody becomes a recruit of the devil to start poisoning the hearts of people. "Why they should not give anymore?" Am I talking? Are you thinking at all? "Why do you have to give? The ministry is rich. Why do we have to give? Our father and the Lord is blessed. Why?" It means you are not thinking well. The reason you should as God has lifted the grace you submit to. It is a reflection of what God wants you to become. So what do you do? What did he do to become what he is? Our father has become what he is and is still becoming what God wants. What did he do? Let's do the same thing he did so that as a church, we can become what he is. You can't sit down in your branch and say, "We are not giving because they already have." That is why you keep on being stranded because to he that has, more is given, but to he that has not, even the little he has is taken. Yesterday I explained that scripture to you. I said nobody's taking, nobody's given. The Bible says he that has more shall be given. And to he that has not, even the little he has shall be taken. Nobody is giving, nobody's taken. What that means is he that has, there were principles he applied that made him have. So long he keeps applying that principle, more shall be given to him. He that has little, there were principles he refused to apply that made him little. So long he keeps living that kind of life, even the little he has will be taken from him. Period. I wish I'm talking to somebody. A ministry where the set man is a dangerous giver. The followers should be dangerous givers. I wish I'm talking to somebody here. See, I I tap into this grace that is upon the set man. So that I can become a kingdom treasurer, not to sit back. Me, what am I doing? No, sir. If you do not do anything in your midst, God will raise somebody else to do it. Perception. Perception. Perception. He said Jesus said, "Something left me." What left him? Virtue. How? She said in her heart. So virtue reads hearts. Virtue checks hearts. Virtue is a mind reader. It checks the state of your heart. Sir, as in water face answers to face, so is the heart of man to man. You must understand the place of perception.
Number three, participation. What is number one? Number two, number three, participation. I said this to you last Sunday. With God. Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27. With God, not by God, not in God, with God. In other words, if I connect with God, things are possible. That scripture does not absorb you of responsibility. It does not extricate you of participation with God. If I connect with God, all things are possible. Am I communicating right now? If I connect with God, how many things? Somebody say participation. Say that again. Say that again.
Number four, partnership. You get to a point where you are a part of what God is doing. You are no more following God for reward. You are not following God for what you want. You are not following God because you want a miracle. You have become a kingdom builder. You are building the kingdom. Whether God blesses you or not, you are with him. Whether God prospers you or not, you are with him. Whether God lifts you or not, you are with him. You have become a partner. You have become what? Talk to me. What?
The place we read in the book of Judges, the Bible says Gideon was sitting down. An angel appeared under an oak tree belonging to Joash the Abiezrite. An angel appeared. Appeared. If you read from verse 11, what is that? It is called encounter. Every turnaround is on the platform of what? Encounter. Sir, every man that walked with God from Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to Samuel to David. All these patriarchs of faith to Jeremiah to Isaiah to Nehemiah to Ezra to Ruth to Job. All these patriarchs of faith, they contacted walking with God on the platform of encounter. What Bible did Abraham read? There was no Bible in his day. So how did he walk with God? Talk to me. How did he work with God? There was no Bible in his day. How did he walk with God? There was no Bible in the days of Isaac. So how did Isaac walk with God? How did Jacob walk with God? You must understand something. The word of God does not majorly tell you about God. The word of God actually is God's word to you. The Bible is not God's word to God. It's God's word to you. Its scriptures is to you. The word of God tells you about yourself. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:18, he said, "We all with open face, we behold the glory of God as in a glass, we are changed into the same image." James 1:23. The Bible says that when you hear the word and you don't do the word, you are like a man that looks into James 1:23. You behold your natural face in a glass. Somebody say after me. The word of God tells me about me, about my redemption, about what Christ has done for me, about the finished work of grace. Somebody say fire. Somebody say fire. Somebody say fire. Fire. Fire. Are you ready?
The angel appeared out of an encounter. When he came, he said, "Thou mighty man of valor." Prior to that time, to be a man of valor is to be a man who has conquered territories. A man of valor is a man who has dominated territories. He's a man who has gotten trophies of victory. He's a man who has put the aliens to flight. He's a man who has put the armies of the enemy on the run. What had Gideon done that they called him mighty man of valor? Nothing. It's like you see a poor man, you say millionaire. It sounds like mockery. Seeing an illiterate, you say professor, it sounds like mockery. When God appeared to Gideon through the angel, he said, "Thou mighty man of valor." That's an aberration. That sounds like mockery. That tells you God does not see you in your present state. He sees you as a finished product. God does not see you in your present state. He sees you as a finished product. You say, "Apostle, you don't understand. I am barren." God said, "No, you are a mother of four children." "Apostle, I am jobless." God said, "No, you are a CEO, an employer of labor." You say, "Apostle, I'm looking for a visa." And God said, "No, you are moving from nation to nation." God does not see your past. God does not even see your present. God sees you in your future. God sees where you are going. God sees what you will become. God sees you in your finished state. That is why God is fighting for you now. You say to yourself, "I don't have money. I don't have contact." Why does he love me so much? He sees where you are going. "I don't know anybody. I didn't go to school." Why is he preserving me? He sees where you are going. "Nobody likes me. Nobody is helping me." But why is God showing me favor? He sees where you are going. "I am not from a wealthy family. Not a good background." How come God is showing me support? He sees where you are going. "My husband is not rich. My wife is not educated." How come God is helping my children? He sees where you are going. Let me tell someone, God sees where I am going. [Applause] [Laughter] So he sees Gideon and says, "Thou mighty man." But a mighty man was hidden. A man that was wired and configured to save a territory was hidden. Capable, I don't know what has covered you. I don't know what is hiding you. I don't know what has prevented you. I don't know what is restricting you. But from my mouth of God's ears, I make declaration. Every evil covering is lifted. Every evil covering is lifted. I said, is lifted. If your amen is louder, take the blessing. [Music] [Applause]
Sir, in Luke 19 from verse 29, in Mark 11 from verse one, in Matthew 21 from verse one, Jesus said to them, "Go over to the village opposite you, and you will see an ass tied, on which no man ever sat, an ass that was created to carry people, an ass, a donkey created to carry men, but no man sat on it." Do you know why that ass was tied? I was doing a study on that ass and I discovered it was called the restless ass. It was the ass that was causing problems everywhere. It would destroy maze. It would destroy farms. It would destroy things. It was catching everything. So they decided to tie it to one spot. They tied it. You know why? Zechariah chapter 9:9, a prophecy came on that ass that that ass was to carry Jesus. As soon as the prophecy came, manipulation came. As soon as the prophecy came, that was when the ass began to manifest characters that should make it killed, characters that should make it destroyed, characters that should make it tamed. But someone tied it. Someone tied it. There are people here who by God have been created and called to be the turnaround in the family to bring a new season, but something is hiding you. Something has kept you. The Bible says, "A city set upon a hill cannot be hid." God says you are a city. No man can make you a village. God says you are a city. No man can make you small. I make declarations under God. As you hear the sound of my voice, every one of you, you are coming out of hiding. I say you are coming out of hiding. What has covered your company? What has covered your investment? What has covered that shop? What has covered that school? What has covered that profession? What has covered that career? What has covered your children's academics? Today that covering shall be lifted up. Be seated. Be seated. Be seated.
So we see that there are two platforms for encounter. One of them is connection to fathers. Connection to fathers. Connection to fathers. When you are following fathers, when you are wholeheartedly connected to a father, sooner than later, you begin to enjoy what he enjoys. You begin to see what he sees. Like begets like. Jesus said to them, "I do what my father does." You go and do what your father does. John 8:38. "I do what I see my father do." "Ye do what you see your father do." "I speak that which I have seen with my father." "I speak that which I have seen with my father." "Ye do that which you have seen." So everybody does what they see their father do. Demons do what they see their father do. Am I talking to somebody here? You become a reflection when your heart is truly connected. You become a reflection to what you are submitted to. When your heart is truly connected, you become a reflection of what you are submitted to. When your heart is fully connected, you become a reflection. So that is the first platform for encounter, connectivity to fathers.
The second platform for encounter is what you hear. Somebody say what you hear. He said, "Where are the miracles?" "Where are the miracles?" "Where are the miracles?" Sir, if you want to see miracles in your life, please begin to put miracles in your spirit. Gather information on. Do you know what the enemy is doing? The enemy wants the church to become logical. So, right now, he's questioning the supernatural. He's questioning the supernatural. He's questioning. "Oh, is this a miracle?" "Oh, are we sure this is a miracle?" "Oh, what?" Miracles are real. We see them around the world. We see people's bodies reconstructed. We see skin being healed. We see kidneys replaced. We see brand new hearts. We see A's turned to A's. We see livers being turned cured upside down. We see eyes being created. We see hands and legs coming to. Am I talking to somebody here? You must begin to surround yourself. So when the angel came, all the angel wanted to hear from him. He said, "Where be his miracles?" The angel said, "Oh, are you aware?" As soon as he said that in verse 13, verse 14, the angel said, "Go." That was all the angel wanted to hear. That was all the angel. As soon as he said that in 13, verse 14, he said, "Now go. Now go." Why? Why? The angel knew that he was aware. Oh, Gideon. So you know that in the wilderness God brought down manna. So you know that Moses stretched forth his rod and the Red Sea parted. So you know that he turned the water to blood. So you know that he spoke and flies came everywhere. So you know he spoke and there were frogs on the land. So you know they put blood on their doorposts and the angel of death passed by. So you are aware of these miracles. He said, "Yes." He said, "Now go." So you are aware. Say, "Yeah." Now go. So when you are aware of what God has done, you are empowered to replicate it. To be in full mental possession of what God has done puts you in position to replicate it. To be in full mental possession of what God has done puts you in position. He was hidden. And the angel of the Lord said to him, if you read from verse 22, 23, 24, especially, he said, "Throw down your father's altar." I want to deal on altars briefly. Can I deal with altars here today? I'm going to show some of you why you have prayed against altars, you have fasted, you've gone to the village, nothing has happened. I'll show you. I'll show you. He said, "Gideon, you must destroy, throw down." In fact, the name Gideon means one that throws down, one that cuts down, one that pulls down. Gideon, throw down your father's altar. The father was serving Baal. Oh my God. When the angel appeared to Gideon, Gideon said, "My father's house is poor and I am the least in my father's house." Why will your father's house not be poor when they serve Baal? Can I say this to you? I can say this to you with authority that every idolatrous family cannot escape poverty. Every family that serves idols ends up like the idols they serve. You become like the god you worship. You worship a spoon, you end up as a spoon. You worship a shovel, you become a shovel. India has over 3 million gods. What you become a reflection of the god that you worship. You worship the Most High, you go high. Am I speaking to somebody right now? So they were poor because of idolatry. But let's see. God said, "Throw down thy father's altar." Bring up verse 24. Look at the screen. One to go. Now go to verse 22. Let's start from verse 22. Verse 22. Mhm. 23. 25. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Start again. One to go. "And it came to pass the same night that the Lord said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it." Verse 26. "And build an altar unto the Lord thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shall cut down." Do you now see why when you go and handle family altars, you come back and the problem is complicated? Because you have not been handling it with specific instructions. It is a risk and a monumental waste of energy to pray foundational prayer without prophetic direction. It is a risk to carry innocent pastors, pull them in the car, transport them to your village where there is no light and carry them. They pass through bush paths and they hold hands. They prayed, they did all night, they did vigil and you paid their transport and they went back. After 6 months, you are still on the same spot. Why? You didn't ask for prophetic direction? Because God knows the covenant that was entered. He knows how it was done. He said to Gideon, "Do it at night." Because who knows? Every instruction has potential to release manifestation. Do it at night. Because who knows? They must have carried out their own act at night. So you must exactly do what was done. Take the bullock. This is how to do it. This is how to tear down the altar. Many of us today we have done family deliverance. In fact, there are people that do family deliverance every year. It has become a ritual. Why? Because they don't understand the place. In the name of Jesus. The instruction you need to permanently silence the idols and altars in your family. The instruction you need to permanently throw down every oppression of hell in your life. The instruction you need to put to flight the orchestrations of wickedness. Receive that instruction now. I don't like your amen. Receive that instruction now. That instruction is coming of you now. It is revealed to you now. It is revealed to you now. You don't serve a dead God. You serve a mighty God. He's the same yesterday. He's the same today. He's the same forever. When God says yes, no man can say no. When God lifts you up, no man can bring you down. God is on your side. Power is on your side. Praise is on your side. Somebody shout [Music] fire. Somebody say instruction. Specific instruction. One more time, instruction. Again, again, sir, there are family trees that must go down, but you need specific instruction. There are there are places that must be dug. Some years ago, a governor's wife was having some crisis and I was having a program in that place and the woman said we should pray. So I prayed in the service and she insisted and begged. She begged, "Please come to the government's house." I said, "No, please sir, come and pray with his excellency." I said, "No, I don't want them to see me around that place." He said, "What do we do?" I said, "Don't you have a residence?" He said, "That's where we stay." I said, "No, I want a residence." So, they showed me the house where they were living before they moved over. She informed the husband. The man drove there and waited with all the security and all that. So, as soon as we got there and they were explaining to me some of the battles they were going through and they explained and explained, I said, "Let's pray." The Lord said, "Not here." Uh-uh. I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "Not in the sitting room. Go outside." So I said, "God said we should go outside." We went outside and the Lord said, "I will tell you a spot to stand." We moved, moved. The Lord said, "Stand here." I stood. The Lord said, "Tell them to come close." The man was asking the wife, "Let's pray inside." So while we stood, he told all the security to, you know, excuse, they should leave the premise. So all of them hid themselves. While we are standing, the Lord said to me, "Get a cutlass." Who? I said, "Excellency, do you have a cutlass?" He said, "What did you say?" I said, "Cutlass." So he called three of his people. One brought a cutlass. He told the other three to stand by him. I'm sure the man told that. So as I took the cutlass, the Lord said, "Dig here." Uh-huh. Dig here. I was trying to use the cutlass. He said, "Apostle, what do you want?" I said, "I want to break this place." He said, "You'd have said so. It's not cutlass, it's hammer." So they brought it, they began to break, break. When they broke it, we could take off the concrete. We got to the sand. He said, "Now, cut began to do." As we were doing that, we dug and dug and dug cowries that have been tied in a nylon bag. That's not all. With the picture, little passport of the man buried in the ground. And we brought, we opened it. He said, "Yay." He was going. I said, "Come back, sir. Come back. Come back. Come back." Now, can we pray? The man's eyes was never closed. As I'm praying, I see him looking at me like this. Looking at the ground, looking at me like this. And when I was done, I went inside and he asked me, "Have you been here before?" I said, "No, sir." He called his people. He said, "Did anybody sneak in here some days ago?" They said, "No, sir." "Who buried that young?" I said, "Sir, this thing has been there from that day that attack in their health stopped." Why? Instruction. Sir, there's an instruction that makes a church grow. There's an instruction that makes you meet the right business partner. There's an instruction that makes you walk to your father's house. Oh, shout. Am I talking to somebody here? I entered the house. People were not getting married on time. I entered the house. Bam. I sat down. It was in. I sat down. We were just in the Lord said, "Work clock." Work clock. I turned. I looked at the work clock and I said, "Who brought that work clock?" They said, "Their father dropped it there." Sir, that work clock is over 30 years. Does not use battery. Does not use engine and it's working. No battery, no engine and it's working. And I said to them, "Destroy it." They said, "What?" I said, "Destroy it." They say, "Our father's own." I said, "Where is he now?" He says, "Not around. He went for their town planning meeting." "Destroy." And they brought right where the man was, where he was sitting. He fell from his chair, held his chest. They brought him back to where we were with stroke. One hand gone, one leg. The first thing he asked, "Where is the wall clock?" And they brought it to him and the man began to confess. There are people today who must understand. A man was rich. God was blessing him. He had a supermarket. Will I say blessing? Okay. At his level, because all he had was a supermarket. Why the jealousy? The supermarket was filled up. The supermarket was prosperous. And his brother began to envy him. So one day he, the man decided to spend the night. He sold till 1:00 a.m. So he said he cannot go home. Let him stay back and sleep. While he was there, robbers came and the robbers began to rob. They were taking things. A particular one did not take things. He went somewhere to where the man kept his safe. The man's face was down. When he saw that one going to where the safe was, he held his leg. "Please, don't take that." Don't. At the dragging, the mask fell and he looked, it was his younger brother. And the younger brother shot him and he died. When he died, the younger brother was the first to come in the morning to come and cry with the family. Meanwhile, he shot him. Two years later, the younger brother became sick. Everywhere they carry him to, no solution. They took it, just brew. No solution. They took a proof because what they find blood, not they take oil. No matter what they did, he began to confess. He called his children. He said, "If I die, make peace with my elder brother. I killed him. This is what I did. That's what I did. That's what I did. That's what I did. That's what I did. That's what I did." I'm telling you the kind of war that we are in. So it is a crime and a risk to go and confront spirits without instruction. It's a crime and a risk. There are people that have gone for family deliverance and their problems increased. There are people that have gone to do deliverance in their hometown and their battles became monumental. Why? They didn't go with what Jesus told them, "Lose the ass." If any man has the same instruction, tell them the master has need of it. That's all. Just imagine if they had no right answer, they would have been stopped from losing the ass. The reason you are trying to set the ass free and yet the ass remains bound is because you lack definite instructions. That is why when you are going, "I am going to minister to my father's house. What do I do? How do I go about it?" Tell four people. You need instructions. You need instruction. Come on. Come on now. Say you need instruction. You need instruction. Are you ready?
After he brought down the altar, brought down the altar, the Bible says all of them were angry that Gideon must die. The father came and said, "Please, let us allow Baal kill him." The father was not trying to defend the son. The father trusted in the power of his idols. Oh, nobody's following what I'm saying. Do you know? Are you aware that all the prophets of Baal, the reason they agreed to Elijah's request to go to Mount Carmel to call down fire was because they were used to calling down fire at will. They were calling down fire before. They were calling down fire. Normally, they play with fire. They were sending fire to people's shops, fire to people's businesses, fire to people's houses, fire to people's homes. So when Elijah said, "Let's go to Mount Carmel." They started laughing. "The one that caused that fire, let's go there. What is fire that we cannot call?" As soon as they got there, they called, nothing happened. That was why they began to cut themselves. "Is this not what I do before? Is this not what I'm used to?" Because Elisha got instruction. What did he do? He poured water first because he knew that the ability to call down fire was their connection to the marine. Oh, I wish I'm talking to somebody here. He knew the ability to call down fire was they were connected to the marine. So he first of all blessed water and neutralized the marine. Oh, [Applause] you studied the Bible. When they were done, nothing happened. The Bible says again, he poured water again to neutralize and he said, "God, can I shock you?" What spoke for Elijah? Elijah connected to the sacrifice of fathers. Abraham called down fire. Are you aware? Are you aware when he was praying, fire came upon the sacrifice and consumed him. Isaac did the same thing. Jacob could bring down fire. So what did he do? He connected to the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. And the fire that fell in the days of these three men left the realms of the spirit. Oh my God. No. And fell. The Bible said the fire did not just consume the sacrifice. It licked water. In natural life, water quenches fire. In spiritual life, fire quenches water. If you must be released from whatever has kept you hidden, you must of a necessity tear down your father's altar. Sir, you cannot conquer the ultimate without swallowing up the immediate. If you don't tackle the immediate, you can't conquer the ultimate. Before you conquer the world, conquer your father's house. Before you conquer your world, conquer your father's house. Ah, it is the lion and the bear that you kill when nobody is there that will determine the Goliath you can kill when everybody is there. When he killed a lion, nobody was there. When he killed a bear, nobody was there. When he killed Goliath, everybody. Sir, can I can I talk to you today? What have you done when you are able to conquer the immediate? You are able to conquer the immediate. I had someone in our family line who was like a stubborn stronghold, resisting prayers, resisting practices. And I prayed and I found out the key. So I sent for her and we met somewhere, an elderly woman of some sort. And I said to her, she's a known witch, a registered witch, that kind of people that they come home, your parents are telling you, "Anything they give you, don't eat. Anything they give you, don't eat." Because they are scared of her. So I met her, greeted her and I said to her to give me two of her children to take care of. One of them I'll place her on something, the other one I'll train her to school. She willingly gave to me and I began to invest on the children. Let me see how she will fight the victor. You know, I just imagine in the covenant.
of witchcraft, they just bring up my name and say, "Let's do this to him." As the witch representing my constituency, she she will scream say no because any attempt the daughter's education is gone. Am I communicating right now?
I said come let me invest on this child I said I won't say anything as I was doing that continually continually continually the child was walking out of that religion that dimension it was now the child that turned against the mother began to rebuke witchcraft I stepped aside am I talking to somebody right now the child said look at everybody among everyone who is standing if not me because I follow Jesus. Release my siblings and let them go. Sir, nobody follows idolatry and prospers. I beg you in the name of the Lord in all of the commandment, the only commandment God said, I am jealous is idols. All of those charms tell his man uh please do everything you can. If anybody suggests that to you directly and directly out, cut them off. Tell them I can manage suggestions. I can reject suggestions. I can bring rebutter to suggestions casually. But when it comes to idolatry, I am I am irritated, cut off.
Number two, the Bible say, "And the angel said, go in this thy might." Somebody say might. I can hear you say might. Say might. It is might that makes men mighty. Oh my God. Gabon, I know you are going. Please go with might. How do you succeed in a career? How do you succeed in a profession? How do you succeed in a vocation? How do you succeed in a ministry? How do you succeed in a business when you are bankrupt of might? Do you know what we came to do today? Every one of you under the sound of my voice. What I came to do is to empower you with might. So that from now as you go, might follow you. As you go, you go with might. You enter politics with might. Enter that business with might. Enter that your talent with might. Enter that operations with might. Go with that career with might. Tell somebody, go with might.
[Music] Do you know sir you are applying for a job you are you wrote application and you were told that over 5,000 people are applying for that same job sir among that 5,000 and they said they are taking just 500 people sir there are many people that are going to places they begin to enter corners to make sure they among that 500 and you sleep, you wake up, you are doing nothing. Sir, every act of the supernatural is the doings of angels. Every act of the supernatural is the handiwork of angels. For he shall give his angels charge. Every preservation is the handiwork of angels. For the angel of the Lord encamp around about them that fear God and deliverth them. Sir anytime you connect to might you are opening up yourself for the ministry of angels. Shot. Am I communicating now? Am I communicating right now? Somebody say I can hear. Say I can hear you. Now do you know? Do you know in Hebrews chapter 1:14 the Bible say he called them ministering spirits for they shall to them that shall be called the hairs of salvation. Once you are saved you have angels at your command once you are moving with might.
Number two in verse 34 the Bible say and Gideon blew the trumpet. As he blew the trumpet men gathered to him. Somebody say men. Oh my God. Say men. Say men. Say men. He didn't say anything. When might came upon him, all he did was to handle a trumpet. Men were gathering without a statement. Men gathered without a statement. Because might is an amplifier. Might is an announcer. might announces men. Sir, when God puts might on your trumpet, when God puts might on your talent, when God puts might on your vocation, when God puts might on your business, when God puts might on what you do, men will gather for you. Men, there are many of us who don't have the capacity to gather men. You can't gather helpers. on if one if one helper doesn't leave another doesn't come you have no capacity to what is greatness multiplicity of helpers what is greatness great one of the biggest problem Neon had problem neon had was that Neon had only one king as a helper so when the king was informed that Neon was a leper he had to write to another king to bail him out of the situation sir to have one helper is to have a limit.
