One of the best market research questions I've ever heard, and it was, "They just bought something." I can't remember what it was they bought, and with it arrived one question, which was, "What almost stopped you from buying this today?"
Now, the argument is, of course, you don't have any data on the people who didn't buy. Yeah, but from the people who did buy, getting data on what the kind of sticking point might have been, totally, eg, it wouldn't arrive on time, or whatever it may be. Such a quick fix as well.
"Such a quick fix."
But literally, do... you know, I've worked on this for... that that question never occurred to me before, but it's a brilliant question.
"Yeah, exactly."
You know, in other words, what, what, what was your near sticking point or what was your near deal breaker?
"Yeah."
Because what's a near deal breaker for someone who buys is probably a deal breaker for three people who...
