They would sell different items. Wenye matractor ya watila. People selling tractors. Wanakuja wanauza. They sell their tractors. Wanaisha. And they will finish. Kunakuwa na muziki pale. There will be music around there. Watu wanapiga muziki. People will be dancing. Watu wanapita wanacheza. People will be celebrating. Wananunua. They will be buying things. Wanamaliza. They will finish. Kunakuwa pale vinacheza kamali. There will be people are glambling. Wanakuja kutoka vijijini. People from different places. People who come from the villages. We see the Lord telling the children of Israel that they will be celebrating in that day. Hii siku ya pentosti ni siku ya furaha. The day of Pentecost is the day of celebration. Ni siku ya kuenjoy. It's a day to celebrate and enjoy. Ni siku ya kuruka. It's a day to jump up. Ni siku ya kumwangalia Bwana. It's the day to look at the Lord. Ni siku ya kupiga vigelegele. It's the day to celebrate the Lord. Anasema hivi. He says utafurahi wewe. He says you shall celebrate you utawafanya watoto wako wafurahi. Children you also make your children celebrate. You tell the priest. Nataka uweke mkono wako juu ya mavuno yangu. I want you to lay your hands over my harvest. Mavuno yangu ya marimbuko. My first fruit harvest. Na kama wamekuja wengi mazao ni mengi. If there many people who have brought their crops na sadaka ni nyingi. And there is a lot of offering. Utaenda utamwambia mkoani. You go and tell to the priest. Deuteronomy chapter 10 verse 14: 14 Because you were not happy in Egypt. Because you didn’t have, you are not delighted in Egypt. You didn’t have, you didn’t have festivals. Praise the Lord. But now the past you were not happy because you had issues that were oppressing you. In the past you were not happy because you had diseases of all kinds in you. At first you are not celebrating because you are a nonbeliever. At first you would not celebrate because the old man in you was inside. All those will not give you a chance to celebrate.

The Bible says in the book of Philippians chapter 4. Philippians chapter 4 verse 4 says this: Rejoice in the Lord. Again I say rejoice. Rejoice in the Lord. And again I say rejoice. Praise the Lord.

In the book of Deuteronomy chapter 16 verse 11: The Lord told the children of Israel, “This festival you will do them at a place where the Lord has chosen, that He may put His name in that place.” There was no any other place in the world where the Lord had chosen in that moment. Except in Jerusalem. There was no any other God who was seen under the sun. There was no stronger God under the sun. There was no nation that knew the Lord under the sun. Except the nation of Israel. And their greater place of worship. It was called Zion, which is Jerusalem of now, in the hills and mountains of Zion, the city that David had made. Which means they had laid their offering in that place. Even today, they are gathered there. What did the Lord want to do? What did the Lord want to instruct? He told them, “Once you scatter all over the world, but in this day of Pentecost, you are supposed to come back. You are supposed to come back all of you and bring your offering in this place. Come with your children.” What did God want to do?

The Israelites were scattered all over the world in different nations. There were Hebrews in Tanzania. There were Hebrews in Somalia. There were Hebrews in Greece. There were Hebrews in Arab countries. They all gathered back to Israel. They all came back. They came back speaking in French. Because the Hebrews who were born in France were speaking in French.

In the day of Pentecost, people were gathered in one place. The Lord had gathered a host. The Lord had gathered a group. People around 120 were seated in the higher place. They were in the upper place, the third floor. They had closed themselves in; they were scared. These people had walked with Jesus for three and a half years, but they had seen what the other people had done to Jesus. They had seen the way Jesus was stripped. They had seen Him hanged on the cross. They had seen the way they had done evil on Jesus. They knew they were next. So they were afraid.

When they were inside, they were afraid. They had closed themselves in completely. Later, when it came to Pentecost, at 9 a.m. in the morning, even when the 9 a.m. was not completely full, they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. They had tongues of fire upon them. They had tongues of fire upon them. There was no fear anymore. They shouted, “You who is speaking in tongues, you don’t know how to speak; you are speaking in tongues, but you are restricting yourself from speaking in tongues. The level of the Holy Ghost in you is very low; it cannot take you anywhere. It is because you have allowed Him in a very small space.” Some of you have small hearts, and the Holy Ghost has come to that small portion of your heart. Some of you have given Him a very small space. Some of you have a small spirit; the Holy Spirit is just pouring Himself in a very small measure. You speak once, and you’re dry. So the Holy Ghost is not in you.

The first day when I was filled by the Holy Ghost, I was filled by the Holy Ghost when I was 16 years old. I was a young boy from the village, a coward, very shy. He doesn’t know how to speak. At 16 years old, when I started praying, when they told us to pray, I didn’t want the girls to see my face, so I closed my eyes. And I would close my eyes with my palms, both of them, to make sure that Debora doesn’t look at me. I didn’t want Lois and others to see me speaking in tongues. So I was so shy. When it comes to singing in the choir, I was the first one to sing. When it comes to prayers, I was very shy and so primitive, a weird person who doesn’t know how to speak eloquently.

On the day the teacher told us he is going to teach about the Holy Ghost, I asked myself, “What is the Holy Ghost?” What is that that is being spoken? He said, “Those who want to be filled by the Holy Ghost today, on this Easter day in 1983, come back.” At home, they had slaughtered a chicken for Easter, along with rice. That would happen once in many years. When I got home, I saw them prepare the chicken very well. My heart didn’t have the appetite for those things. I was completely destroyed. I was all mixed up inside. I didn’t like food. And the rice in the back days had a nice aroma. I didn’t like the rice; I didn’t desire it. It was raining; it was around April. I came back to church. We were worshipping in the schools. I looked for pieces of chalk that were leftovers. I started writing on the top part of the blackboard. The words that I was scribing were heavy words. I was waiting for the teacher to come, but he had gone to celebrate Easter. When I saw that it was raining, I felt like he was delaying.

Later the teacher came; he came offended. In the morning, the church was packed. But in the evening, when he announced about the Holy Ghost, there were only a few people who came back. He came complaining, “Is it that people don’t know God?” and stuff like that. I perceived that he was giving up and not teaching about the Holy Spirit. When he continued speaking those words, he wrote on the board, “Oh, Holy Ghost, I’m opening my heart; enter in me today; my heart is open.” I looked at the words on the blackboard. I couldn’t speak at all. When he said, “You repeat these words,” when I said, “Oh,” I couldn’t continue. I found myself; my shyness ran away. Suddenly, I found myself lifting my hands all over. I didn’t know how tears were dripping from my eyes. I didn’t know how my mouth was filled, and I started speaking and speaking. Other people continued to read the words to the end, but I didn’t know where I got lost. I entered into a different world.

And later, it was 8 p.m. I heard the headmaster of the school come, and the guard, with a panga. You know that place is a cooler land; and the guard had a panga. They arrived and slashed the desks with their pangas. “The born-agains are confused, and you’re making noise. Come with chimly!” When I heard the noise, I said, “My Jesus has come!” I started shouting in tongues, and I felt even more power. Those who were still reading the words, who were not filled yet, one held my right hand, the other one my left hand, so that we may move from that place. When I wanted to open my eyes, I saw an angel standing before me, wanting to… I felt strange power coming over me. For three days I was completely unable to speak any other language. In the morning we go to the field to work in a bean farm. My mother knew that I was not at home. She is very strict when you sleep outside the house. I went and stole a hoe. At night, very early in the morning, I went to the farm. I was still speaking in tongues. When I was speaking in tongues, when it came to 9 a.m., the very same angel that I saw the other night came and stood before me. When I looked up, I saw the angel in front of me. The angel called me Samson. When he stretched his wings… From that moment, the Holy Ghost had made me a strange person. Praise the Lord.

This week is going to be a very strange week. The Lord has told me something. I want you to prepare yourself. Prepare yourself. I’m not going to speak much today because the time has gone ahead, and I wanted to lay a foundation. We have known the meaning of Pentecost. Tomorrow we are going to talk about fire. Tomorrow we will talk more about the fire. I want you to pay attention. Tonight you will start seeing strange things. Tonight you will have a different… Tonight you will start seeing things that are unusual. I want you to continue in prayer. I want you to continue in prayer. One night like this, at Sauti College in Mwanza, I was talking to the youth about the Holy Ghost, how a youth can be raised and empowered by the Holy Ghost to change the world. The students were dancing and praising the Lord; they love the Lord. I told them that something is going to happen in your lives today. They thought I was just speaking merely. When it came to a moment where we would pray for them concerning the Holy Ghost, all of them laid flat down. And then one of them stood up and ran outside; he went and plucked branches from the trees, then came to the altar and started showing signs while speaking in tongues, and when I would go there, he would come to me. They came with the pastor’s wife; she had escorted them. The pastor’s wife started crying. I saw her shouting. I said, “The Holy Ghost has come upon her.” She cried. That young man continued. Later I asked the pastor’s wife why she was crying with a loud cry. She said, “This young boy has changed. This student came to prayer when he was himself. How am I going to take him back to the way he was?” That young boy changed completely.

At 5 a.m. when we were preparing tea to finish our prayers, he started explaining what Jesus told him. He said, “I was showing you how ready God is for the harvest. I saw myself holding a grain of wheat, showing that God is ready to harvest. When I brought it to you to see the grain you… He is a young boy who is great now; he’s a great preacher as I speak right now. Praise the Lord. Okay, I’m done, but that is just a foundation. When tomorrow we are going to speak concerning the fire, I’ll speak about the fire. I want you to prepare yourself well. There are great things that are going to happen to you. Get ready to speak in tongues. Get ready to speak in tongues. And I promise you, no one who is going to come into this place is going to go back home dry. It is not I who brings down the power of God. It is not I who is going to give you the gift of the Holy Ghost, but the Holy Spirit is in this place. Your thirst is very important. Praise the Lord.
