Donald Trump is getting knocked down. Donald Trump is getting pummeled. California Governor Gavin Newsome is taking the gloves off and is not holding back. And Donald Trump is trying to have his friends over at State Regime Media Fox basically put out message like Newsome's got to stop now. This is ridiculous.
Newsome is causing real problems in the country by calling out Donald Trump this way. Gavin Newsome doesn't care. He's acting with moral authority. And finally, a Democratic leader, acting like a leader. Let me highlight what Governor Nuome just did. He's in New York. Remember, he was in New York while Donald Trump was giving that disastrous speech at the United Nations. He was there again yesterday. He appeared at the Clinton Global Initiative kickoff. He also spoke with the New York Times. But most significantly, Governor Nuome was there mocking, humiliating, bullying, and standing up to Donald Trump and showing what real leadership looks like.
Governor Nuomo posted the following about Vice President J. Dance. "JD Vance is as dumb as a rock. I expect an apology." Thank you for your attention to this matter. GCN. And he's referring to JD Vance gave a speech where JD Vance is like the problem right now where there are people like Gavin Newsome who were calling Donald Trump an authoritarian and there were people who are calling Donald Trump a Nazi and if you're calling him that you're the problem and it's like hey JD Vance didn't you call Donald Trump America's Hitler? Like you're the one who said that. So, you may want to look in the mirror. And JD Vance literally said about Newsome and others, "You may want to look in the mirror and reflect on what you're doing. You're the one who said it, J. D. Vance."
Then, um, Governor Nuome post the following in all caps. "DONALD TRUMP IS A CLIMATE ARSONIST, SETTING YOUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE ON FIRE AS HE ROLLS BACK OUR CLEAN AIR LAWS AND CUTS GREEN JOBS. XI JINPING WANTS TO GIVE HIM A BIG, BEAUTIFUL BEAR HUG FOR HANDING THE FUTURE TO CHINA." Sick. GCN, Governor Nuome's initials.
Governor Nuome then posts to mock Donald Trump. "GAVIN NEWSOME WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!" Exclamation point.
Governor Nuome posts the following. "Trump's UN speech yesterday wasn't just concerning. It's an abomination. A total abdication of leadership. To our allies around the world. California remains a steady, reliable partner."
Now, Steven Miller wanted to try to jab Gavin Newsome. Miller goes, "This language incites violence and terrorism." And they are saying what Gavin Newsome said when he was on Col Bear earlier this week when Nuome said that um ICE the way they're arresting uh migrants shows authoritarian behavior. Um, then Governor Nuomo responds, "Really? Because Donald Trump shares video of supporters saying, 'The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.' So, shush it, Steven Miller. You are an authoritarian."
Governor Nuome then responds to an interview that Tom Hman gave where uh on Newsmax, the reporter asks Tom H. Homeman, what is your message to Gavin Newsome who says that ICE agents will be required to not wear masks in the state of California? And Homman's like, "Good luck with that. Good luck with that." To which Governor Nuome says, "But Tom Hman," they call him Ham Hman because his face looks like ham. Ham Hman, what if we give you another $50,000 in a paper bag?" Raises a good point there.
Now, Governor Nuome also posts a video of himself from this powerful interview with the New York Times where Governor Nuome talks about how the Supreme Court has been an utter failure. And Gavin Nuome also name checks and calls out corporations and leaders for not acting with moral clarity. A powerful moment and I'm glad that Gavin Newsome posted this clip of himself. Let's play it.
"Well, the Supreme Court just said it's okay to racially profile. This is the Supreme Court and the shadow docker appropriately named uh that said you can send Border Patrol and ICE to go after people on the basis of where they congregate on the basis of language they speak. So, yeah, I'm very concerned about that. I mean, look where these folks came from. Look who look who promoted them. Look who vetted them. I mean, this is this is serious. And the worst part about it is how so many previously serious people have sold out the appeasement that's going on in this country. And I and forgive me, I I want to stay on topic, but it's simultaneous crisis here. It's not just crisis of climate, but also in our democracy. Can you be specific there? When you when you say these people, who are you referring to? I'm talking about people, one I referenced, people that know better. They're not doing better corporate leaders. Yes, you've seen it across the board. People are scared to death of this guy. And it's it's the appalling silence. It's the complicity. You're seeing the most successful, wealthiest people scared to death of this guy. It It makes me sick. Is it Is it worth it to you to watch this 249 years just vanish in real time? She asked about the Supreme Court. It's part of that. I'm old enough to remember in the history books this notion of the enduring values of our founding fathers, the best of the Roman Republic, Greek democracy, popular sovereignty. He's trying to rig the elections. This notion of co-equal branches of government. I said supine Congress, supine Supreme Court rolling over to this guy. It's no longer the rule of law. It's increasingly the rule of dawn. It is a serious moment in world history and we're losing our moral authority by the hour as he continues to exercise his formal authority by the minute."

Then Governor Nome posted this video about Trump 2.0. Let's play it.
"Do you feel like there is lasting damage being done? This is different. It's different. I mean, you know, if you're on team uh Trump, you're very proud of that. There's a surgical nature to this that we didn't see in Trump 1.0. And I'll remind you remind you for a couple of you that may know this, most of you don't. We were involved in 122 lawsuits with the Trump administration the first four years. 70 plus of those were in the environmental space. They tried everything to vandalize our hard earned leadership and we won the vast majority of those cases. What's different now and what GM allowed and forgive me for being so pointed. This about this about our this about our future. I had one of the most devastating fires in the middle of winter in Southern California, 16,000 structures. I sat there. First time I met Donald Trump was in Paradise, California. Kept referring to as Pleasure California. And his response was, 'Rake your forests.' And he was serious. And I'm serious. Forgive the intensity on this. I mean, and in every category, the recklessness is next level. And the supine Congress is the worst part of this. How complicit they have been in this respect. They've done not a damn thing. Not a damn thing. And that's why this is different because the CRA was a nuclear option. Yep. taking away our authority. We're litigating, but it's a very different administration. That was a level of quote unquote sophistication that was not present in the first term, the endangerment. If we go down the list, you know, it and I want to and so that's why I'm more concerned, forgive me, about the lasting damage than I would as it relates to the proverbial pendulum. And then we'll capture this back."
And Governor Nuomo posted this and said, "Calor is not backing down. We're working with cities, states, and nations to ensure America does not fall behind under Trump." Let's play this clip.
"H how though, I mean, just get just take us a little inside baseball here. when the Trump administration comes with these more sophisticated attacks, how do you as an individual state or as a coalition of states with things like Allin, uh there are these other efforts to try to use the state level to push back against what we're seeing out of Washington right now? Yeah. No, it's part of it works though. Yeah, it has to. Failure is not an option in this space. And and so, you know, it's the old African prover, you want to go fast, go alone. You want to go far, go together. So, we built these coalitions. you reference allin with Bloomberg which I co-chair we're part of the US climate alliance which I co-chair with 24 other governors in 24 or 23 other states uh we're part of this larger coalition happen co-chair as well the under two coalition which is a subnational coalition at the global level working through the ages of a lot of our international organizations and that's an effort and a way to continue uh to have stable leadership and continue to pass partnership we were with the Brazilian representatives the EU representatives yesterday with the UK representatives and Australia representatives. Literally just yesterday, we've signed subnationally throughout China, including with President Xi just 18 months ago. One state uh has been able to achieve all of that because our state of mind is around building a resilient framework of partnership to do what we can to withstand this assault on common sense and reason coming from the Trump administration."
Then Governor Newsome posed this. "Donald Trump's climate denial is an abomination and a disgrace. History is watching and future generations are counting on us to act." Let's play it.
"He called climate change the greatest conj job ever perpetrated on the world. And he said that the scientific consensus on global warming was created by stupid people. What's your reaction to that? What an abomination. What an embarrassment. Uh, what a fraud."
Then, Governor Nuome post this. "To leaders around the world, California is your stable and reliable partner in fighting the climate crisis and protecting our environment." Play this clip.
"We're what's left of environmental policy despite the headwinds in Washington DC. And so if there's anything I want to communicate for those of you particularly outside this country, we are your stable and reliable partner and we will continue to be in this space."
Then Governor Nome points out what I said before. According to JD Vance, JD Vance is going to hell because JD Vance compared Donald Trump to Hitler. Now I just want to show you here how Fox is reacting to this because they're scared. They're scared. They're scared. This is what Hannity has to say.
"You're not Trump, Gavin. You're not Trump. Stop trying to act like Trump. He's He's mocking Trump. And he's mocking you, Hannity." Play this clip.
"No, it's just it's not real. It's not authentic. You're not Trump. So, tonight, here is my message to the part-time governor, full-time Tweety Bird, full-time podcaster who pretends to run the state of California. Gavin, we were old friends. Maybe it's time to stop tweeting, stop podcasting, start governing your state."
Now, you can attack me all you want and I will gladly respond. Then Hannity said this about Nuome as well. "Maybe focus on bringing the people of California and the country together." Yeah. Yeah, Hannity. Let's bring people together, Hannity. I mean, really, you've got you, Hannity, Fox, state regime media, Donald Trump, the most divisive people ever. Y'all destroyed our freaking country. But sure, give us a lecture. And now you want to bring people together. Now you want to play the victim, Hannity. You want to play the victim for your $40 million a year salary. Here, play this clip.
"You know, your time as governor is running short. You know, you you got a little over a year left in office. Maybe focus on actually bringing the people of California and the country together."
