I have five Airline and hotel hacks that will blow your mind and instantly save you cash. The same flights you want to book anyway, but you'll pay less than the guy sitting next to you. Sucker! The same amazing hotels, same exact rooms at deep discounts. And at the end of this video, the final hack, I'm going to show you how to save more than $11,000 on your next vacation. It's a big promise, I'm going to deliver. All right, right from your phone. It's really easy. All right, let's get into it.
Hack one. I'm going to save you so much money on this one. The question I get most from you when I meet you, when I talk about travel, is, is there a quote, cheap date to book? The answer is yes, there actually is. And there's an easy formula to finding cheap flights. It all comes down to the web. We did a ton of research. I've been looking into this for years, literally. I don't have much of a life. Found there is an exact day and even an exact time to book. You ready for this? It's going to change your life. Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Let me say that again. Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. Eastern. I told you to get specific here at Rossum Reports. The best time to book your airline travel. Why? Because airlines historically create deals on Mondays. Okay? And once that deal goes public, like to the other airlines, the other airlines jump on board and say, "Oh, well, if they're discounting that route, we want to discount that route for the same routes." They race to match those prices. So by Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Eastern, the airlines are basically done matching their competitors from Monday, and they're basically all, all offering you the best rate they possibly can. Okay?
So what are the best days to actually fly? Are you ready for the reveal? Here we go. The cheapest days to fly are Wednesdays and Saturdays. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Here's why. Most families want to travel to a location. Think about it. Think about what you want to do, right? Even business travelers want to travel early in the week and late in the week. So Wednesdays are kind of blah. And same with Saturdays. Most of us are working midweek. We don't want to take the kids out of school midweek to travel on a Wednesday, right? If you're somewhere on a Saturday, you probably want to stay till Sunday instead of cutting your weekend short. So you can beat the system. Travel on Wednesdays and Saturdays for the best rates. I have literally saved personally thousands of dollars doing this myself. My family is not a huge fan of mine.
Coming up, we have a hack that will save hundreds, and in some instances, thousands on hotels. We're on that in a bit. Hack three. Okay, we just saved you a ton on flights. Now wait till you hear my secret hotel trip. One of my favorite websites, Resort Vacations Too. ResortVacationsToo.com. Let's take a look at an all-inclusive resort in Acapulco. Let's first take a minute to picture that. It's nice. Okay? Here's the resort, the Palacio Mundo Imperial. On ResortVacationsToo.com, you can get it for $330.127 per night. For the same room at the same hotel on the same dates, if you were to book directly through the hotel website, you would pay $382 a night. And that's if you're a member of the hotel. And I don't know about you, but you're probably not a member of Palacio Mundo Imperial. So for non-members, basically all of us, it would actually cost you $425 a night. So you save nearly $100 a night for the same hotel, same room, on the same dates. And if you're going for five nights, think about it, you're saving $500 bucks just by booking on the Resort Vacations Too website. Amazing.
Don't want to go to Acapulco? Fine. Be that way. Maybe you like the Bahamas. Here's another example in the Bahamas. This is Breezes Resort and Spa. We booked the same room, same dates again, and compared. Okay? On the hotel website, if you go directly to the hotel website, it's $450.36 a night. And now look at the price on ResortVacationsToo.com. The same room is only $337.55 a night. Instant savings just by booking from one website to another. You can save thousands using this site if you consider how long your vacation is.
Hack four. Mystery deals. I love mystery deals because you can save so much money. And Hotwire does a great job with these. But there's a way that I found to kind of trick the system. Because when you get these mystery deals, yeah, you're saving a lot of money, but they don't tell you what hotel it is. That's the whole point of the mystery deal. That's why they can offer you such savings. But I figured out a way to Hotwire it. See what I did there? Hot. All right. I figured out a way to figure it out so you can figure out what hotel you're actually getting, and you're getting it much cheaper. So here's what I want you to do. Open up Hotwire. Hotwire.com or the Hotwire app. Search for a hotel in, let's say, Las. We'll do Las Vegas today. Pick your dates. Take a look at their mystery deals of the day. This one is a Hot Rate. It's a four-star casino hotel in the Las Vegas Convention Center area. Okay? But here's what I want you to do. I want you to take note of a few things. Now, we don't know what hotel this is, right? Uh, it just says "classic room." It's kind of generic. We just know it's a four-star casino hotel in the Las Vegas Convention Center area. I want you to take note of A, where the hotel is located. B, look at the rating. This one has 3.9 out of five stars. And C, look at the number of Expedia reviews.
Now, here's what I want you to do. Open a new browser. Go back into Hotwire.com. We're going to do the same search, but except this time, we're going to use the filters to sleuth this to figure out what this mystery hotel is so you can get the great mystery rate, but you know what you're getting ahead of time. Here's what you do. You're in Hotwire again. This time, instead of Hot Deals, click right there on "All Hotels." Then choose Hotel Class. Remember, the Hot Deal mystery hotel we saw was advertised as a four-star hotel, so we click four stars. Then we choose the area. Remember, the Hot Deal mystery hotel was the Las Vegas Convention Center area, so we click on that. Then you see Guest Ratings right there. Remember, our Hot Deal has 3.9 stars, so we choose 3.5 stars and up. And boom, there it is right there. Compare them on the screen. Both four stars, both Las Vegas Convention Center area, both 3.9 stars on reviews, and both have exactly 3,515 Expedia reviews. We solve the mystery. Our Hot Deal is the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. Now I can click on it to see all the amenities I'll be getting, what everything looks like, and look at the room photo. See, the carpet is even a match, so we know we're right. And look at the difference in price. It's huge. I can book it as a Hot Deal for just $34 a night. For the exact same hotel, same room, on the same dates, it would normally cost me $72 a night. You're saving almost half the money just by booking this mystery deal and doing some reverse engineering. We figured it out. Oh, and by the way, they sometimes make little mistakes, or maybe they're little Easter eggs they leave for us. Go back to that. I want you to look at this picture they use in the Hot Rate deal when it's still a mystery. Let's just zoom into that picture real quick. Do you see that? Zoom all the way in through the window. You can actually see the Westgate logo. They didn't fully take it out. So sometimes there are actually little clues in the photo as well. So you probably have a life. I, I don't have much of one, that's why I watch this channel. But I kind of zoom in and look at everything. So there are multiple ways to figure this out. But look at all the, the money you save.
Before we reveal our final hack, and it is a doozy, I want to recap the Rossum Reports travel hacks. Using the right travel site can save you hundreds on flights. When you book and when you fly will save you thousands. And the right hotel site can lead to big savings. And the mystery deals are a mystery no more because you watch Rossum Reports. And now our final travel hack. Hack five. This one will save you thousands and could net you the deal of a lifetime. On a hot dog and a soda, it's our Costco membership. It can save you thousands on your next trip, and it could not be any easier. Let's book a trip from Nashville to Palm Springs. Two beautiful places. If you were to book things separately, I'm going to show you that first. By the way, this is an apples-to-apples comparison. We're talking about the same flights, same dates, same hotel, same rental car company, same type of car. So if you were to book all this separately, we priced it out. The flight would cost you $672.72. The hotel, which is a really nice hotel, we booked seven nights, it's going to cost you $4,371. And the car rental, they get you on these cars, don't they? $71.40. The total cost to book these separately, $5,722.41. It's a lot of money. But guess how much it is if you book through Costco? Same flights from the same place to the same place, same hotel, same amount of nights, on the same dates, same rental car, same everything. $4,450.29. That's the total through Costco. The difference between the two, you are saving $1,271.12 just by booking through Costco. So if you don't have a Costco membership, just go out and get one. No, Costco is not paying me. But on top of the travel perks, they still have a buck 50 hot dog and soda meal. Buck 50. Worth it. Sh.
