Bezos Interview: Says AI will create JOBS APLENTY

SANDMAN'S MYSTERY CHAN2:40

Transcription

I know why people are pessimistic. They're pessimistic because a bunch of smart people are telling them to be pessimistic. But those people are wrong. This is going to be uh when you when you have productivity uh and this this could be very significant productivity in the economy and that is going to uh raise the standard of living.

All right. Now, I just want to piggyback on something that Jeff was saying because I think what all the smart people that he's alluding to are missing is that AI is going to empower people to have whatever jobs they can come up with. It's not about, you know, like, oh well, I'm not going to get to go and work for someone anymore and punch in a time clock. Um, no one who the [ __ ] wants to do that anyway. That's what people like are always complaining about having to do now. Everyone's like, I don't want to go to work. Work sucks. So invent your own fing job in the future because AI is going to be do able to do so many things for you. Whatever you want to do, whatever service you want to provide, you're going to, you know, it's obvious we're going to be creating a UBI system. People are going to have time. People are going to be supported. So what job can I come up with? What service can I provide around town? You know, this is going to be a time of empowerment, but you have to have some kind of, you know, like the wheel, you know, get the wheels turning in your head. Get creative. Start thinking about what you could do. For instance, you know, this is a time you can invent, you can send away for a factory. What I meant to say was that you can come up with a design for anything and send that away to a factory where they will have automation, manufacturing that can create your design for anything. You can, you know, whatever product, whatever invention, whatever you can come up with, the opportunity will be there to produce it. So, take advantage of that.

The productivity gains that are going to be made from automating manufacturing as well as like you know office work and red tape and bureaucracy like we're going to have machines working on everything like 24/7 just the the productivity is going to be exponential so whatever you want to do you come up with your own job why like be independent have some tearity think for yourself decide what you WANT TO PROVIDE SONG TIME THAT'S SHOUT out to Bob Wel Welch. right here. miles away. Got to get out of here.
