10 of the best aquatic perfumes in my entire collection. And I know this is a genre that the people who love it, they absolutely love these fragrances. If you're into the more marine sailor inspired fragrances, this is the list for you. It's like you're taking this nautical voyage. All of these are beautiful. They're absolutely gorgeous fragrances. Some of them are a bit too, for some I would say photorealistic to the point where they smell salty or like seaweed or whatever. I know that can sound like a bit of a turnoff, but a lot of these are absolutely beautiful oldactive creations. Some of which on this list I would consider to be masterpieces.
In any case, I'm going to be sharing this video with you in just a second. But before I dive into the video and I tell you about these 10 beautiful aquatic perfumes, 10 of the best in my entire collection, I want to start the video off first by saying that if you're a fan of perfume related content, and of course, if you love smelling your best, hit subscribe, hit the bell, and also please give this video a thumbs up for the algorithm. It would mean a lot to me. And of course, a lot of these are niche offerings, so you don't want to blind buy a fragrance that costs $2 $300. You can check out scentsplit.com. They have a lot of really affordable designer and niche fragrances. They permit you to purchase a sample, a 5ml decant, 10 ml decant, whatever size you choose. This way once it comes in the mail, you can try it on skin, see how it works with your pH levels, how it resonates with your personal taste, and then of course if it's in alignment with your taste, you can then subsequently commit to the purchase of a full-size bottle, which again you can purchase on Sensplit. So, they're not just a decanting company. You can actually buy full-size bottles on ScentSplit as well.
All of these are amazing. In the number 10 spot, please tell me in the comments below, is this one discontinued? I've heard a lot of people say it's discontinued, but I believe I went to the mall here, um, American Dream Mall in New Jersey, and I think they had this there. And so, this is Beach Hut for Men by Ammoage. What I love about this one is that it's very salty and it's very citrusy and it kind of gives it this oceanic flare, but it's also quite earthy as well. So, it conveys professionalism. I love this one. As you can tell, my bottle is nearing empty. And I am dreading the day when it runs out because the last thing I want to worry about is just never being able to wear it again on account of some discontinuation. So, please let me know. Is this one being discontinued? I've heard mixed things about it. And like I said, I even smelled it recently, a few months ago in a department store. This goes back to like October of last year. So that's fairly recent.
Now, the next fragrance is Salty But Fruity at the same time. And this one is Coney Island by Bond Number N. Now, I know the brand has some other fragrances that one would deem aquatic, but I think it's that salty presence in here that really conveys an aquatic element. Like, if you've smelled this one, you know exactly what it smells like. It is quite salty in the opening. You give it a chance to dry down, the fruits come out, that subtle sweetness comes out, and it actually becomes a really, really nice fragrance. I wear this one on occasion, but primarily in the summertime.
The next fragrance, and this one is, I'm going to be honest with you, I think this one is a masterpiece, and it explores this sinthetic relationship between the color and the smell. And so, this perfumer is a genius. He has composed what are, in my opinion, several masterpieces, including his second creation ever, which is called Lair Du Desert Maroine. He also has one that I absolutely love, and it's about time that I purchased a bottle of it. I think I'm going to end up doing it soon. It's called Lone Star Memories, but this one specifically, the aquatic one, and it's also very green and a bit spicy as well. I'm almost getting like a licorice star anis vibe from it. Is called Blue. Beautiful fragrance by Tower Perfumes. Again, the perfumer's name is Andy Tower. And by the way, when you purchase I know this one, you can sample it probably at Sensplit. You can also get a bottle at Lucky Scent. I purchased all of my Tower perfumes at Lucky and when you buy it brand new, there's a card, a hexagonal or a pentagonal card, excuse me, on the inside of the aluminum container and it's actually signed by Andy Tower. I think he's been doing that for as long as he's been producing fragrances. Really nice personalized touch.
I also really like the only designer on this list I think, let me just double check. Yep. So, it's the only designer fragrance on this list, but we got to give credit where credit is due. Could have very easily mentioned Cool Water by David Off. I went with Aquade Dhou Parfam by George Ormani. The lime, the jasmine. It's very clean. It's ethereal. Humongous compliment getter. I really like the parfam. I like Proffondo. I like Proffumo. I like Proffondo Lights. I like the EDP. You know, I like so many. And I have so many of the flankers here um to my right. And this is one that I think gives you the lasting power. It gives you enough of a similarity to the original and it's also quite wellknown, very well respected in the community.
The next fragrance is such a photorealistic aquatic fragrance, but I love the fact that the aquatic elements are toned by the citrus. This one by the dua brand is called out at sea. Really enjoy that one.
Now, this next fragrance has a lot of ginger. So, you have that bright citrusy facet in the opening. There's enough of that spicy ginger to kind of give it that aquatic element. I believe there's amber grease in the dry down as well. This one by Bone Parfamare is called 83. This deserves so much attention. I think this is available at Bloomingdales. So, you can walk into a Bloomingdales and actually try this collection, which I think is really cool. It's a French brand, obviously. And this one also has a bit of pachuli in the dry down, but it's a very sort of earthy marine pachuli is the best way that I can describe it. It's not the sweet chocolatey dense variety which you get from a lot of other perfumes like Noir Noir by Tom Ford.
In the number four spot, and these are really in no particular order, you know, it's going to be up to your personal taste, but these are honestly like 10 of the best in my collection by Nishan. This one is inspired by the Aian Sea and it's called Eay. And this is a beautiful uh oceanic bright citrusy but also aromatic fragrance. I believe there's basil and mint in this one. They did it so incredibly well and it's one of the unsung heroes from the brand. Especially when you see perfumes like Hatchabat and Ani and uh Hund Silent Ways always in the limelight. This is one that kind of falls under the radar, but that's perfectly fine because sometimes we don't want to smell the way that everybody else smells. We're looking for idiosyncrasy and uniqueness and individuality. And so, I love the fact that this one isn't spoken about enough.
The next uh fragrance is going to be one of the longest lasting aquatic fragrances that you'll ever try. And I love this one so much. I'm telling you, I tried this initially 2 years ago, I want to say, and I have fallen in love with it ever since. It's so bright. It's so marine. There's a salty component. There's this um unquestionable earthiness to the fragrance as well. And this is a very strong, very confident aquatic fragrance. Very grownup. It has a level of sophistication about it as well. And this one by Ras Fort is called Rea Delmare. And I know you probably can't tell, but there's an anchor on the back and beautiful presentation with this leather sleeve. Might be leather or leatherrett, wooden cap presentation on the atomizer, pressurized. So, this is a beautiful fragrance through and through. It's indie level and I love a lot of indie perfumes because they tend to be the most unique and the most experimental and also having a higher propensity to utilize higher quality raw materials.
In the number two spot, this could have easily been number one. I'm going to be honest with you. I am not crazy about the way that this one smells. And I say that because it's a bit too salty for my taste. Like you want a true aquatic, you don't really have to look elsewhere. This is like creme de la creme, if you will. This is by Profum Roma and it's called Aqua Disale and it's um and it leaks. Yeah, that's great. So, this and again it has the pump atomizer or you can use um you know the the cap if you want to use it as a splash. I've been told it's 40% concentration of oil which is absolutely insane. It has the algae, it has the seaweed, it has that salty component to it. It smells so natural and I know there are people who absolutely love it and so if you love it, you know, by all means, God bless you. Continue to wear it.
Honorable mention goes to Selmeron by Healey. When I tell you I've been looking for my bottle for the past half hour, could not locate it. I'm just going to give it an honorable mention. I promise I own it and I have worn it a lot and it's one of my favorites. I think it's probably somewhere in the basement. I will look for it some more.
But in the number one spot, I think um you know with regard to aquatic perfumes, it's hard to beat this one. It has the longevity, and I'm talking like 24 plus hours longevity. It has the cult following. It has the popularity. It has the uniqueness. And as people say, imitation is the best form of flattery. And there have been so many other brands that have put out their version of this fragrance. As a matter of fact, I would say Out at Sea by DA smells slightly similar to this. And so, ever since this perfume came out, there have been a lot of brands that have tried to like utilize like different bits and pieces of this fragrance and kind of twist it into their own. But of course, if you want the original, you have to get the original, right? Like nothing tops the original as far as the lasting power, as far as the uniqueness, as far as the quality of the raw materials. And whenever you think aquatic like this fragrance better pop into your head. This one by Orto Parisi is called Mega Marare. I bought this bottle from Lucky Scent. Paid full retail for it. I bought it from the Scent Bar location on Elizabeth Street. I think it's 233 Elizabeth in Manhattan. Paid full price without a care. I love this stuff. Happy to have it in my collection. And I'm telling you, this is as aquatic as it's going to get. It is very spicy. I personally love that about this fragrance. I love their fragrances and how robust they are, how unapologetic they are. I have Bergam Must I or Bergam Mask. Bergam I have uh Coyum. Again, not for the faint of heart, but anyway, if you haven't tried Mega M and you claim to be a lover of aquatic perfumes, uh just do yourself a favor. Please get a sample of it from Sensplit so at the very least you can try it to see what it's all about.
