Hey guys, it's Will. I know the title is not clickbait. As of next month, I am completely shutting down my as of now half a million a month uh consulting business that I've worked so hard to build. It's taken so many years to get here to get to this stage and now we're turning it off. And in this video, I just want to answer a few questions as to when, as to why, what I'm going to do in the meantime, as and when we're going to come back. And the first question on your mind is probably Will. Number one, are you serious? And number two, why? Why on earth? And questions like that.
So, so let me just answer this first. Now, yes, we are genuinely closing down, but we're only closing acquisition. So, we're still going to be working with basically any customers that come in this month in November um that either join for the first time or that renew, we're going to keep working with. The only thing that we're stopping is acquisition. So, from the 1st of December, uh we're basically just not accepting new clients just for one or two or three months. That's it. So, as of December 1st, the uh VSSL funnel will disappear. All the funnels will disappear and all that you will see is a waiting list. So, people can uh join the waiting list in the meantime. And then when we reopen around February, then we will email the list. we will reenable the uh VSSL funnel and start taking new clients again. So, we're closing temporarily. We're not closing for good and we're just taking a roughly one to three month break from acquisition only. So, no uh new clients whatsoever. So, that's the first thing.
Now, the second thing, why are we even doing this? And honestly, this has been something that's been on my mind for a very long time because for anyone that knows me, I have worked every hour, every day, every week, every month, every year for almost eight years. And I don't regret any of that. It's made me loads of money or almost $40 million now. Over that time, I've built the first company, grown it, sold it, started the new company straight away, built a personal brand, built this new consulting uh business, and it's been an amazing journey. But two things come to mind. Number one, I've never taken a break. Every single month forever, it's just been new clients, new clients, new clients, new clients coming in the door. And I've never taken a break. Certainly never from uh acquisition. And for me, acquisition is by far the most exhausting part of these businesses, especially for for anyone that has a sales team. And I know that some of you watching this right now have either tried to have a sales team or you have a sales team or you're building a sales team. Well, I know that you'll resonate when I say that driving traffic. Honestly, that's I I really enjoy driving traffic, like making organic, making paid. I actually really enjoy that. But the sales team, the hiring, the managing, the call reviews, the tracking, the onboarding, like it's such a headache to drive acquisition. And there's a lot of parts that I enjoy, but my favorite things to do are making YouTube videos, um, like building funnels, um, um, working with clients. That goes without saying. I bloody love that. Um, writing, creating, building. And recently, I've just been thinking about how long do I want to keep doing this? Because I was chatting to a friend. I've got a friend called Ed Lawrence and we were talking last week about how much passive income he makes from his investments. How much passive income I make from my investments. And at the moment I make roughly $45,000 a month from let's just say my investments from real estate, from stocks and bonds, from uh high interest bank accounts. It's about 45,000 uh a month. And I was also telling my girlfriend this last week and she said to me, "Why the hell are you still working so hard then? Why don't you just take some time off, have fun working with the clients, we'll go on a little holiday. You can have a refresher for a few months. You can work on the product because I keep saying that I want to make the product better. I want to make the product better. I want to make it deeper. Reorganize it, add new parts in there from everything that I've been learning over the last six months to a year. And finally, I've convinced myself to actually actually do it.
So, from the 1st of December, we are for the first time in my entire career, I'm closing the business down. I'm closing acquisition down. And we are not letting anybody in to any program for any amount of money at all. We're going to take a few months and I am going to work with the clients and just really go deep with them, get them the best results possible and just really get back into it and have full fun with full focus. I'm also going to work on the product, the training program and the onboarding process, the client process, uh the customer journey, and just get into it without having the headache of, "Oh, yeah, but we've got new customers coming in. We've got the sales team running. We've got the ads going. We need new ads. We need to change the funnel." I just want to get rid of that headache of acquisition altogether. Put it to the side for a few months. and work on the business and I mean I guess in the business as well in the business with customers on the business with uh product and just take some breathing room take some breathing space and stop driving acquisition now. It's going to be a weird feeling to go from half a million a month cash with about 400 profit to zero cash more or less and zero profit from the business. Obviously, I've got the income from uh passive sources like like I just mentioned, and that will be my new income now for the next few months. So, that's that.
And also, when we do turn the business back on, we'll be turning it on in two kind of different ways. So, number one, it's going to be with a brand new model that we've been working on in the background, which is better for us and it's better for customers. And number two, we're no longer offering uh one-to-one and we're no longer offering done for you either. If we go with with this plan, this plan could change over the next few months. So, it's not signed and sealed and and set in stone, but if we implement what we are planning on implementing, then finally, and I've I've I've said that this day will come. I've always said I can't do anytime one-to-one forever. I can't do done for you forever. And finally, that day is is coming where after this month, after November, uh the anytime one-to-one program will disappear and the done for you program will disappear as well. And I can't share the new model with you guys yet. But when we turn the business back on in January or February or Marchish, it will be the new model. and it's much much simpler. Basically, that's that's that's all I can say for now. And there won't be any one-to-one and there won't be any uh done for you. So, if you've been thinking of coming on board as a client, uh especially if you want the one-to-one or the done for you, uh make sure you you come in this month because after this month, you're not only not going to be able to buy for a period of time, but you're certainly not going to be able to buy uh those two programs either. So, if you've been on the fence, uh, this is not like a marketing ploy. This is not fake scarcity. We're not going to change our mind and and keep the business running. You know, this is not like that. We're just taking a break to reorganize things. Have a bit of a rest. Me have a rest. Most of the team have a bit of a rest. Uh, work on the product and the program. Work with the existing clients. Just full focus all in. So my time is pretty much going to be split about 50% client work, 30% product and systems and processes work and 20% just relaxing, reading, doing hobbies. I might go on a little holiday to Thailand or Australia or America or something like that during the time off. And that's going to make up the next one or two or or 3 monthsish, which is going to be really fun. I'm really really excited to finally have the balls to do this cuz frankly, I've been thinking about this for quite a few months. I just never had the balls to do it cuz I was just I was just scared of I was just scared of stopping the massive income. You know, it's hard to it takes balls to to turn off half a million in cash and say, "No, I don't want that for even for a while." But it's going to be a very weird feeling. It's going to be a very weird feeling because I I track my cash every seven days. I write down the cash and it's pretty much always gone up. Every single week it goes up and it has for years uh because of the heaviness of the cash flow of these businesses because they're so cash flow heavy and and net profit heavy and to see it stop going up especially in like leaps and bounds. It's going to be interesting. It's going to be really an interesting experience to not have new clients, not have new onboarding, not have the Slack channels firing, not have reps asking me questions, not have sales team meetings, not have call reviews, not have ads running, not have any new. Oh, it's going to be such an interesting interesting few months.
So, yeah. So that's what's happening. We are closing the doors temporarily and putting a pause on acquisition. I'm working with the customers that do come in this month or are already in. And just for clarity, so this month, November, you can come into any of the programs if you're new. If you're due to renew and you're an existing customer, you can renew after the 1st of December. You can't come in as a new customer. And you also cannot renew as an existing customer either. And we're just going to focus on um adding value to you guys that that are in the program. You will have me and my team's full attention cuz there's nothing else to do. So it'll just be all in full focus. Your results are the priority and the training program is that priority. And I can't wait to get into that. I can't wait to just rebuild certain sections, add new sections. There's so much that I've learned from our experience and also clients over this over this year and it's going to be awesome to start building the third version of the program now. So, if you're thinking of coming in, uh, make sure you come in this month or else you're not going to be able to come in later. If you're an existing client, I can't wait to keep working with you and get you the best results possible. And it's time to take a break, a well-earned break after 8 years of working just non-stop. I need a bloody bloody break. So.
