Hi, this is Chet McBroom and this is Alberta Quigley and you're on the Marketplace Network and we're going to talk about Alberta Quigley's new book here. It's Unlimited God.
Unlimited God by Alberta Quigley. It's a small, easy read. It's only like 40-something pages, but it's full of her experiences with her journey with the Lord that are so encouraging. And let me tell you, she's had some big experiences. And one of them is in the book here that I want to touch on.
By the way, this book is available on Amazon.com and some of the other online books. I'm sure you can find it and get it. It's a great read. But uh chapter four is healing without limits. And yes, it deals with the big word "c-word" cancer that's been a plague, especially in modern society, cancer. And so I'd like Alberta Quigley just to share her testimony about having terminal cancer, terminal, terminal cancer, and what the Lord did to heal her. So, Alberta, why don't you take it away?
Yeah. Before I do, though, in the first chapter, it's all about the police and and uh about a policeman in there who was shot four times. And uh we're doing work with the police. I love them all. And uh so try to read the first chapter because it talks about uh the man who was shot four times and how he forgave the shooter.
Very. Yeah, it's pretty amazing. His name's Ray. Yeah. So, chapter one is divine protection and a call to support law enforcement. That's something that Alberta's really been involved in. Chapter two is humility and ministry. This is a better experience with a big TV ministry and uh traveling uh and uh experiencing uh a humility uh learning a lesson in humility there. Chapter three is the provision of uh the unlimited God. That's pretty interesting. Alberta's been in some tight spots financially and this is one of them that she talks about. And then chapter 4, which we're going to talk about today, healing without limits. I mean, some of these things are like over-the-top stuff and today's testimony will be and it's in the book. And then chapter 5 is entitled Everlasting Life.
Now there >> was also in there where I went to Gloria Gillespy's church and ministered and Jesus showed up in person. >> I think that's chapter five. Yeah. >> So there'll be other volumes that come out. I have found I've read the book more than once now. I have found just reading it at night time silently is okay. But the other day I started reading it out loud. Sometimes I do that with the Bible and man I don't know what it was. It was very powerful for me. So again, Unlimited God, we're going to share chapter 4 today of her testimony of of incredible healing from cancer. So why don't you take it away, Alberta?
Yes. Uh, I was in Wisconsin doing some meetings and flew up to Minneapolis to change planes and I collapsed in the uh right there when I started to change planes and uh they took me to the hospital and a old doctor came out and he sat on my bed and he said uh hate to tell you this but you have cancer. and he insinuated that I wasn't going to make it through.
And he said, "I'm going to give you a letter. Don't go home. Go straight to the hospital with this letter." I had already turned yellow and and uh >> jaundice. >> And it was he said it's very bad. So I called my friend Paty and she's going to meet me at the airport. She said, "Alberta, I have this wonderful doctor in Federal Way, Dr. for Victor Oberon, who's a woman's doctor. He's a Christian. She said, "I'm going to give up my appointment, and I'm going to bring him bring you to him." So, I walked to News office, and this is how good God is. He took me in his office and he said, "Alberta," and by the way, he reached up and whipped a Bible out, put it on the desk, and he said, "The Lord Jesus told me to take care of you."
Wow. >> And he said, "I'm going to take care of you." Do you know that doctor started praying from the minute I met him, him and his nurse came in, they anointed me with oil and prayed over me.
That's an incredible doctor. And so he uh he said, "But you got to have a cancer doctor." And he gave me a wonderful cancer doctor. And that cancer doctor, I'm sure he thought, "Well, you know, this is it." But you know, Dr. Oberg would not let me go.
He told that cancer doctor, he said, "No, she's going to live. She's going to live." And the other doctors had more or less said, the ones in Minneapolis anyway, um you're kind of get ready, get prepared, go home and get your things in order. But anyway, so um Dr. Obergon said, "I got two miracles. I uh before I went in for surgery, he said, "We got to open you up." He said, "We're going to open you up."
And >> but they had to check your heart first before they could do that. >> Check my heart. Yeah. And Dr. Obergon said, "You got to go over to the hospital and get your heart tested before Monday before we do this on you." So I went to one hospital and they said, they came out and they said, "Alberta, do you know you have a terrible heart?"
"Oh, brother." >> I looked at Paty and I couldn't have her surgery. >> Oh no, no, I got a bad heart. And so we didn't tell anybody. And it came time to get the surgery and the >> he asked you about the heart out >> and said, "You need a heart test." Me and Paty looked at each other and I was like, "Oh, >> they lost the other paperwork." No.
So, had to go back and get another heart test. >> We lost our heart test. >> Well, good. We'll take one. Now, this is God's truth. How what was the what was the time between the first heart test and the second? Only days.
Just a couple days. >> Okay. >> Because I asked my pastor, Jack Bernard, uh in Auburn, I said, "Hey, pastor, can I have a three-day meeting? I might croak."
Oh, wow. >> I might be out of here. >> So, you're going to preach? Preach right on out. >> Yeah. I said, "I want to have a three-day meeting." Well, yeah. Somewhere during that three-day meeting, uh, I got healed.
Wow. And uh but anyway, so I went to the other h the hospital and we're there and they're saying, "You got to have your heart test." Paty and I are saying, "Oh, no." So, um we uh looked at each other and I went in. I said, "Bye, Py. Bye." We went in. I got a heart test and guess what? They come out and they said, "Alberta, do you know you have a perfect heart?" Only days later,
I said, "God, you must have healed me in that church or something." >> Yeah. >> I had I had a a new heart also. And how many of you know you can be healed, too. You can have that. So, anyway, the c I had a cancer doctor and Dr. Oberon and they went in and they opened me up and guess what? No cancer.
Wow. >> None. It was gone. And I was actually on my deathbed and it was gone.
Yeah. So you were terminal terminal cancer because he was like, "You need to go home quickly and get everything arranged because you're going to die." >> Yeah. >> And then you go in, well, we can't open you up to see how bad it is until we check your heart. And then the heart was bad.
And then you thought you could get away with losing all the results and say, "Oh, I'm sorry. I lost the results." But then they were going to run another test anyway, >> right? after you were ministering, you thought, "I'm going to minister and if I'm going to die, I'm going to go out ministering." And then uh you go back to this different hospital where they're going to open you up. They said, "Well, we still got to do the heart test." Got a new heart.
They did open you up and they're like, "Where's the cancer?" >> Yeah. And that's been a long time ago on >> a long time. Well, need to be careful saying a long time ago because you know, >> women in your age, right? Yeah. So, >> but it was quite a while ago. You've been in remission for who knows how long. >> I've been with cancer free.
Let's just talk about that for a minute. I consider myself a pretty healthy individual. I'm a bit younger than Alberta. And when >> Oh, okay. >> A bit. I said a bit. And when I minister with Alberta, we'll go to places I kid you not, >> she'll keep going. I mean, there was this one time we were at this evening where we were ministering and praying with people. I looked at my watch. It was like 12:30. Some of you going to say I'm a pansy. Well, maybe I am. I looked at my watch. I'm I'm I'm like I'm out. I'm so tired. And I thought I'm going to look bad, but see you Alberta. And Alberta's like, fine. I'm going to keep ministering. So, she that that new heart that she got really works well. That's all I'm going to say.
Yeah. I mean, God has been so good. It was recently. >> Yeah. And uh in >> into the middle of the morning ministering. >> Yeah. But this is what you're going to laugh about. So Dr. Obergon said, "Alberta, I'm putting you in the best hospital."
Oh, yeah. >> So I go down there and I look, they show me their >> Do we want to give them a promo and advertisement of what the best hospital is in Seattle? >> No, I won't do that. Okay. Yeah. So anyway, um anyway, I think it was Virginia Mason. I'm not sure. It was Swedish.
Swedish. One of the two. >> Yeah, Swedish is sweet downtown. >> Yeah. So anyway, yeah, it was downtown. Yep. >> And so anyhow, so I tell the Lord, I say, "Lord, if I'm going to die, at least if I stay alive, I want to eat from that menu. They had steak, all kinds of stuff."
Like restaurant quality food at Swedish. Now, we're not here to advertise Swedish Hospital. I'm just telling you, >> but I mean the menu. And I told Dr. Oberon, if I make it through this, I want to eat from that menu. And so, owe me a big faith. You know, I have myself already in heaven. And Dr. Obergon, he said, you're not going, you're not dying. I want you to know that you're not going to die regardless of what anybody says. How many of you know you got to have somebody who will stick by you?
Oh, yeah. >> And believe with you. >> Yeah. and be that person in the gap. >> Yeah. >> Y >> Dr. Ogon was and anyway, so I I say, "Lord, if I wake up, then let me stay here a week." You know, >> she treated it. This is going to sound so weird. She felt and it is a nice hospital. I've been there. She felt >> it was like staying at a resort, >> that she was on vacation. How many of you out there ever have gone to a hospital and you feel like you're on vacation? Well, that's what Alberta >> Yeah, I did. I I want I told Dr. Oagon, I want to eat from that menu. Keep me here a week, you know. So, I I wake up and I'm still alive.
Yeah. >> No cancer. >> Yeah. >> You know, and Blue heart, no cancer.
So, you know what happened after about a day? The hospital comes and says, "You don't have nothing wrong. You're healed. You have to leave like tomorrow." >> Jeez. >> Do I have time to order from the menu? >> Yeah. Do you have takeout? >> I said, "Can I nope, we need your bed. There's nothing wrong with you." But here I'm saying that to say all of this. God healed me. And I told the Lord, I said, 'Lord, and some people don't like this part of what I say.
I told the Lord, I said, Lord, >> if you want to take me, I will gladly go to heaven to be with you. But if you want to keep me here, if you got stuff you want me to do, then keep me here. See, you can talk to Jesus that way.
Yeah, >> you can you can talk. Chad knows you can talk to the Lord that way. You can say, "Okay, Jesus." It's just like I talked to the Lord about keeping me there in that hospital for a week and then being able to order from the >> cuz I'd been steak from the menu, >> you know, I'd been traveling. >> Can I have that medium rare, please? Okay, go ahead. >> I was I was been traveling doing a lot of ministry all over the place. Yeah. And I just wanted to rest for a week in that hospital.
Yeah. Well, when you have cancer and you're traveling all over the United States and you're turning jaundice, I guess you would feel kind of ill, want to rest a little bit. >> But I but here's what happens. So, I'm at my pastor's hurt, Jo uh he's gone to heaven now, Jack Bernard, and I'm up there on the platform and I'm telling about telling the people all this story about me having cancer and everything. Somebody ran up to the platform and they said, "Do you know Dr. Oberon's here listening to you?"
I said, "He is?" I called him up to the stage right quick. >> Yeah. >> And I said, "Dr. Oan, tell the people you're my witness here to what happened." He told them everything and more. And I said, "Dr. Oagan, why didn't you tell me how sick I really was?"
Because it's all he was. You're healed. you're healed in Jesus name. You're going to be healed. You're going to be healed. He never once >> said much about the cancer at all. >> And he wanted to make me positive. So he came up and he gave the testimony. Now what are the odds of that?
Yeah, that's great. >> There are no odds. So he came up and then I said, "Oh, by the way, Dr. Oagon, will you pray for people while you're here?" >> Good. >> He said, "Sure." and he called them up and the whole platform was full and he went down to each person, laid hands on them and prayed for them.
So, actually getting that cancer turned out to be kind of a blessing. >> Yeah, it did. There are some I will say this that there are seasons where God really wants to stretch our faith and the bigger the trial and as you come through that trial uh the bigger I would just say the elevation and the glory to God. So, you know, we want to tell these type of testimonies here because cancer is out there wreaking havoc on people. And Alberta's living proof that Jesus not only heals, but he heals cancer. Even when you're uh literally probably have a month to live, Jesus can still step in and heal that cancer.
We know some people that are believing for healing. I know a young woman I've prophesied over at uh well First Fruits Revolution Ministries and you and I are seeing the transformation of this world. >> Oh, she's changed 100%. >> Transformation. I said I prophesied over I don't do a lot of this and it would remember how it came out so strong. I mean it was loud. It came out of me and I told I said in three years that we would not even recognize her. Not only would she be healed from the cancer, she was confused with her faith. And this young woman, Christina, she is coming right along. And I can't wait. We've been about a year into it. I can't wait to see at the end of three years. She's going to look so different. Not only healed, but grounded in Christ. It's such a beautiful thing to see the Lord.
Well, Isaiah says that by his stripes, the stripes he took on his back, we are healed. >> Yes. And then Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. He helped me that I was more or less on my deathbed."
Yes, you were. >> And God helped me. He brought me out of that. Why? Be number one because he loves me. Number two, I wasn't finished with the ministry. He had more for me to do. So right now, if you have a loved one that has the sick, not just cancer, but other things, yes, >> we're going to stand on God's word right now, >> and we're going to pray for you. And we're if you're laying there with cancer, we're going to pray with you.
Well, Alberta, how come he heal you can? Cuz he loved me and it he he just healed me of cancer and he loves you and he wants to heal you from anything. >> Mhm. >> And Chad, you know what that's like. >> Yep. You know, >> now can we explain what healing is?
I would like to explain to you from T.L. Osborne's perspective, which I love because it's so true, what healing is all about. Now, think about this for a minute. When God heals, you see God healing throughout the scriptures, especially through Jesus. He's such an extravagant giver, our father God is.
And Jesus loves to heal. But you know, physical healing, you're still going to die regardless if you get healed now, today. You could die a year later. Who knows, right? We're all going to die. And then comes the judgment as the writer to the Hebrews says, unless Jesus shows up, you know, on his second coming while we're still here.
But that being said, then why does he heal? You know why he heals? Because he wants to capture your heart. He wants to woo you and capture your heart. He wants to grab your attention.
And so God is in the business of healing. Healing is easy. In fact, I can point to Matthew chapter 7 where Jesus is talking about some will come to me and say, "Lord, Lord, did we not have a deliverance ministry? Did we not heal? Did we not do many miracles?" In fact, the he the Greek word used there is dunamis, dynamite power, like we see in Acts chapter 2.
And Jesus tells them, >> "I don't even know you." Meaning, I don't even have covenant relationship with you. Away you workers of iniquity or you that are have don't have my ways in your life. That's the way I'll say it.
And so, these people are healing others in his name. How easy can it be to be healed? Real easy.
Well, let's pray right now for those that are in >> just uh put your hand toward the TV or whatever >> by faith. >> By faith >> or set your hand on that area that you need your healing in by faith.
And another thing too, get somebody who will agree with you for your healing. Dr. Oberon had more faith than I ever had. He wouldn't let go of the fact that I was going to be healed.
And you need somebody to pray with you who will believe, you know, if two shall agree is touching anything on earth, God said he would do it. But you can also be alone and pray for healing.
We realize that Jesus is the healer. And we know that one of the names of God is Adonai Rapha. A lot of times it's Jehovah Rapha, but actually in Hebrew it's Adonai Rapha. And so, uh, the God that heals, that's one of his names. The name speaks of his character. Okay?
But sometimes we need somebody there. James chapter 5 talks about this. Are any sick among you? >> He's asking, >> he says to call for the elders of the church. They'll anoint you with oil.
And the prayer of faith, notice it's not the person receiving the prayer. The prayer of faith shall save the sick. You can go read I think it's it's James 5:14 I believe.
So I was just wanted to back that up. Sometimes you need to grab somebody with greater faith.
You really do like my doctor was for me where I had no faith not much faith because they the other doctors said you're out of here. Dr. Obergon would not accept that. And he had only met me when I walked in his office but we got to be good friends after that. wonderful doctor and um so I've been down that road of healing and I can't name all the time and neither can you that >> how many times God's healed us.
Yeah. >> I don't know about you but I can't count them all.
So let's get your hands stretched out by faith towards the screen >> or place your hand on that area that needs to be healed and Alberta's going to pray for you right now.
Okay. Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. And Lord, we believe your word that says by your stripes, those terrible whippings you took on your back, we are healed. And we thank you, Lord, that cancer is just cancer. It can be healed by you also. Anything in our bodies that need to be healed, you can heal it. Lord God, you've healed so much in all of us. Father God, we can look back and see how many times we were sick and you healed us. Now, Lord, for whoever's out there and they say, Alberta, I need healing right now. I need that cancer gone from my friend, my loved one, for me. Then right now in the name of Jesus Christ, we say be healed in his name.
Yes, be >> healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, whoever is listening, heal them, precious lamb of God. You are the healer. You are the one that heals us. And we thank you, Jesus, for healing. Whoever's watching and you need healing, be healed now in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, our only Lord and Savior. He's able to do it, isn't he, Chad?
Yes. So, >> has he ever healed you? >> Yes. One I was thinking of is Dr. Bill Henderson when he was a child, which impacted him. And Dr. Bill Henderson's had a huge ministry because of that introduction to the living God >> through healing. >> It grabbed him. It grabbed his heart and he went running after God and eventually, you know, he's been a huge impact for the kingdom. So, if you've received that healing, would you do a favor for us? Would you go down and put in the comment box below uh what type of healing that you've received from the Lord so that people can be encouraged by that? If you know somebody that needs to see a video like this, would you share this video with them? I think it would be a great encouragement. Another great encouragement is Alberta's book of testimonies.
It's unlimited God. And man, that testimony of cancer, is that not an unlimited God? And so there are testimonies of encouragement in this book. It's a quick read. I highly encourage you to pick it up from Amazon or Barnes & Noble or these things online.

And I want to let you know I've got another book coming out in January just like you have another book coming out and it will it's going to be entitled Why Would God Use a Woman Like Me? And you're going to find some really stories in there about how I got in the ministry and everything. And if you want to be healed, one of the top things is to forgive your enemies. Forgiveness is tied in with being healed. Forgive your husband, your wife, your friend, your kids, everyone. I did a meeting in a church and we all held hands and we forgave everyone that we could think of. Do that before you even pray for your healing. Forgive those who have hurt and wounded you. And the word of God says, "But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who have hurt you." And do that. That's in Matthew. And and just go ahead and and pray for them before you pray for your healing. That's a suggestion. I know God will heal you, but it really helps if you'll forgive in Jesus name.
