So, uh, promyelocytes and APL will have a blue, uh, cytoplasm. Deeply basophilic nucleus is round or bilobed, sometimes in a butterfly kind of orientation, butterfly nucleus we call it, or a coin on coin where they'll be kind of overlapping a bit.
And in the cytoplasm, we'll see pink primary granules that will be also on top of the nucleus. You may also see on occasion Auer rods. It could be one or many.
