Hey everyone, and welcome back to Brothers of the Arcana. I am, as usual, Alex Alia. I'm glad you're as usual, Alex. I am co-host Dave Fino. Welcome back to Brothers of the Arcana. Welcome, welcome. And we have an interesting thing going on today. We're not going to do a guest, per se. What we're going to do instead is the start of a small educational, uh, series playlist. Um, well, it might not be that small, actually, Dave. Um, it may be quite involved. So we have several presentations that we've done, um, within our fraternity of Freemasonry that focus on the esoterics. And, um, we just feel it's such a good dovetail with the show that we'd like to put them on for you and then have some great discussions about them. So that's something you want to do today, Dave? Absolutely. It'll be, uh, a fantastic discussion. We'll go down some rabbit holes, I'm sure. Oh, yeah. But I've personally seen Alex do this presentation several times in person. It's fantastic. It definitely gets into some, uh, fun topics, quantum entanglement and vibration. We could also bring back Eric Matson soon enough to, uh, have some discussions and physics and other elements there. Haven't we had him on enough? Well, maybe not. Probably not, especially when he's going to be talking about the extralarge telescope. He was just down in, oh, I'm excited about that, actually. Um, yeah, he's a wonderful, wonderful friend of the show and, uh, we'd love to have him on as often as possible, actually. So, uh, without further ado, I'm going to try to share my screen here so I can do so. Uh, let's see. Believe this is it. Okay. You seeing everything? I'm seeing, Dave. Yes, sir. Perfect. Proceed.

So I normally title this, um, quantum entanglement, vibration, and masonry. Um, this regards to, to a great extent, how the principles of quantum vibration in physics can mirror and often complement the ideas and philosophy of both metaphysics and Freemason philosophy, uh, or, um, the activities through which we participate as Freemasons. So I think this should be educational and interesting to those who don't know the fraternity quite as well and would be interested in understanding and knowing more and maybe mis-, you know, um, dispelling some misunderstandings and and and thoughts that don't really make sense. So without further ado, adieu, adieu, adieu. That's right.

In a never-changing world where the boundaries of knowledge continue to expand, there emerges a need to understand seemingly disparate disciplines. And what do I mean by this? I mean, in other words, you have hard sciences such as physics and and chemistry, astronomy, and so on. And then you have the soft sciences, so to speak, psychology, um, and well, I'm not sure you would call philosophy of science, but it does have regimentation at the very least. So the the idea of metaphysics, uh, uh, vibration, uh, uh, Law of Attraction, the universal laws of the universe, so on. So how do we integrate these things to have them make sense to us so we can use them as guideposts and and measurements through life? So this discussion, um, explores the integration of realms of quantum mechanics, the principles of vibration and metaphysics, and the foundational teachings of Freemasonry. So because these are the foundational teachings, these will be open to, uh, non-Masons as well. So we're not, we're not not giving away any Masonic secrets here, even though there are not that many to give away to begin with. But, um, just so you know, this is for a general audience. It seeks to underscore how these areas, despite stemming from different, uh, paradigms, epochs, and so on, uh, can call us to present a holistic perspective on our existence, the nature of consciousness, and the interconnectedness of all things.

Since its beginning, Freemasonry has been deeply intertwined with the pursuit of knowledge rooted in the ancient traditions of stonemasons. It has evolved over centuries to become a fraternal organization dedicated to the intellectual, moral, and spiritual uplifting of its members. The Masonic journey is symbolized by the transition from darkness to light, embodying the core value of enlightenment. Historically, many of the great minds in science, philosophy, and the arts have been associated with the Masonic Brotherhood, pointing towards its intrinsic emphasis on knowledge and discovery. This intellectual underpinning serves as a background for our exploration today: the confluence of quantum mechanics, metaphysics, and Masonic principles.

The 20th century witnessed a revolution in our understanding of the universe with the advent of quantum mechanics. You guessed it, Dave. This groundbreaking field challenges long-held Newtonian views, introducing concepts that echoed the principles often discussed in metaphysical circles. So metaphysicians from, let's say, the beginning of time, when metaphysics was originally started to be discussed, going through all kinds of hermetic principles and into the modern day, has posited a lot of these ideas. And then we see the 20th century with hard science starting to join the conversation through, uh, quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement principles. Concepts such as the interconnectedness of particles, the observer effect, and the malleability of reality itself find resonance both in quantum physics and metaphysical explorations. So when we overlay these insights onto the Masonic pursuit of enlightenment, the moral and ethical refinement of the individual starts to emerge. This discussion, uh, ventures into this triad of these three opportunities and seeing how they can be added to make life, uh, better and to make men better men.

Okay, so what am I talking about when I'm talking about quantum entanglement and quantum mechanics? Well, there's a duality between a wave and a particle. Many of you have read about, uh, the idea of light and photons of light. See that sometimes light can behave as a wave, and sometimes light can behave as a particle. So what does that mean? Sometimes life can be, uh, uh, light can be a a material solid, if you will, and sometimes it just functions as a wave of energy. In other words, um, a wave of electrons by themselves. So at the heart of quantum mechanics lies this paradoxical view of the wave-particle duality. Historically, entities have either been waves, like what we thought light was, or a particle, like an atom. However, experiments, notably the double-slit experiment, which I'll talk about in a second, reveals that subatomic particles like electrons displayed characteristics of both. This means that particles can exhibit wavelike behavior and under certain conditions can be thought of more as a particle.

Let's talk a little bit more about that. Some may know, if you watch The Big Bang Theory, and I've talked and have listened to, uh, Sheldon Cooper about Schrodinger's cat. So what does that mean? That means that there's something called an entanglement particle, and this is how we start to get an idea. Schrodinger's cat was an experiment done by Dr. Schrodinger, and he didn't actually do this, but he said, if I were to place my cat into a sealed box, that box having some poison inside it, uh, which, as you can see, a hammer would hit the poison and destroy the bottle, thereby inflicting it upon the cat. The Geiger counter would, uh, based on the, uh, radioactive material to the left, as the radioactive material decomposes, that Geiger counter would pick up on that. The scissor would cut the hammer, the hammer would hit the poison, and the poison would kill the cat. But we don't know at any moment in time whether the cat is alive or dead because we don't know how far down the radioactive chemical has decomposed. So what he's trying to say is, at any moment in time, the cat could be both alive and dead in the box, thereby the principle of superposition, or two states occupying the same space. This instantaneous connection, described by Einstein as "spooky action at a distance," defies classical notions of locality and challenges our understanding of the fabric of reality.

So what do I mean by superposition? So Schrodinger's cat is a clear example of two things occurring at the same time, right? Or at least we can hold that in our heads as a philosophy. So a commonly referenced analogy is this because it allows people to kind of clearly embed it in their own minds. Now, let's talk a little bit about the observer effect. A cornerstone of quantum mechanics is the observer effect. And that resonates where if you're looking at a, a photon, something that's subatomic, sometimes that asserts itself in the quantum system as either a light or a particle. Now, what's weird is that the observer effect asserts that the state of a quantum system changes when you're looking at it. So what does that mean? That means the act of measuring or observing something determines the state of the system. This challenges the idea that there's an objective reality that we just sort of look at, and the reality is what it is, and we don't really have a particular effect on that reality just by looking at it or just by measuring it. But it seems that reality is a little bit more malleable than we first thought.

Everything in life has a vibration. So the universe is in constant motion, vibrating at different frequencies. The universal resonance suggests that everything, even the smallest atom to the largest, vast galaxies, vibrates at its own unique frequency. Understanding this principle leads to the belief that everything is connected through these vibrational waves, creating a harmonious symphony of existence. Sympathetic vibrations occur when one object vibrating at a certain frequency induces a vibration in another object. So what does that mean? This is what we're looking at with the double-slit experiment. So when you see, there was a, a piece of paper with two long slits in it. Electrons were fired at this paper and onto a wall that was painted with a, uh, with a particular type of paint that would pick up the residue of these electrons when they hit it. So what would happen is, as you can see, after 28 electrons, it's just a dispersal pattern. There's no, there's no particular pattern that starts to emerge. The electrons are all over the place as we're looking at it and as we're measuring. After a thousand electrons have been fired at the back wall, you start to see a small pattern emerging, four particular distinct lines with with some others on the side. After 10,000 electrons, now you start to see that in fact, the electrons are starting to line up in columns. And as you can see by the end of it, you have clear one, two, three, four, five, six columns with some other smaller ones, uh, that that occur on the back wall, showing that as we are looking at these electrons that started out a completely random pattern, right? There was no particular thing, uh, where they were going to or attracted to. But over time and with our observation, you see clear lines, distinction. And we can have Eric talk a little bit more about this. He actually talked about this in our first interview. But, um, if you want to go back and check it out, that would be that would be pretty cool.

So what do we talk about when it comes to vibrations? There is an ancient idea called the musica universalis, or Universal Music, or Harmony of the Spheres. The ancient Greeks believed in this musica universalis. They posited that celestial bodies like planets and stars emit their own unique harmonic frequencies as they move through space. This isn't a scientific theory in the modern sense, but it underscores that even the ancients had ideas and insights into the vibrational nature of the cosmos that we're talking about today, hinting at a universe filled with harmony and order.

Freemasonry has a quest for light. It's not merely a fraternity, but it's also a philosophical journey. At its core, it seeks to elevate the individual from a state of ignorance or darkness to a state of enlightenment or light. This quest for light is symbolic of the Mason's desire for knowledge, wisdom, and a deeper understanding of oneself and the universe. Masonic rituals and symbols serve as tools and guides on the Mason's journey towards enlightenment. From the square and the compass to other symbols, uh, that occur in Masonry that Masons know of, these symbols and rituals encode profound truths about human existence, morality, and our relationship with the Divine.

One of those is the idea of the building of King Solomon's Temple, or any spiritual temple, for that matter. At the heart of Masonic teachings is at least one allegory, uh, discussing the building of King Solomon's Temple. However, instead of a physical structure, Masons think about it philosophically, an idea of building a temple within ourselves. This is a metaphor for personal growth, refining one's character, and striving for moral and spiritual excellence. The lessons imparted during this metaphysical construction prepare the Mason to serve as a beacon of light and knowledge in the world.

In the realms of both neuroscience and quantum mechanics, the nature of consciousness remains one of the most captivating ideas possible. Several quantum brain theories put forth that consciousness comes from quantum processes within the brain's microtubules. Proponents of these theories, such as, uh, Sir Roger Penrose and Dr. Stuart Hameroff, believe that the brain functions similarly to a quantum computer, where quantum superpositions can occur before then collapsing into definite states, potentially giving rise to conscious experience. While these theories remain controversial, they provide intriguing bridges between the microscopic quantum world and the macroscopic world of conscious experience.

Vibration, in its essence, is the rhythmic motion of atoms and molecules. This foundation, this foundational movement, resonates with our own perceptions and awareness. The way we perceive sounds, for instance, hinges on vibrational frequencies. Some theories even suggest that our consciousness itself might have a vibrational component, like we just talked about. In this context, heightened awareness might be linked to tuning into certain vibrational frequencies, allowing for deeper perceptions and a richer understanding of reality.

Quantum mechanics has dramatically reshaped our understanding of reality. One of its most profound implications is how the act of observation can influence the state of quantum systems. What does that mean? That means in the quantum realm, particles can exist in a state of probability until observed, at which point they assume a definite state. This underpins the idea that reality is not fixed and objective, but is influenced by our interactions upon it. The philosophical ramifications of this are incredibly profound, raising questions about the nature of existence, our role in shaping that reality, and the interplay between the observer and the observed. Cuz don't forget, we're made out of atoms too, right? All the way down to electrons. So how do we change when we're observed? That's a thought for a later idea.

Building upon the idea of malleable reality is the concept of the Multiverse. Stemming from the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, the Multiverse theory posits that every quantum decision point spawns, what, multiple realities, with each potential outcome realized in a separate universe. In essence, every possibility is actualized in some corner of this vast multiversal landscape. So while still a topic of debate, this idea profoundly challenges our understanding of existence and the singular nature of reality.

Everything in the universe vibrates, right? We talked about that. Everything from galaxies all the way down to subatomic particles. When multiple entities vibrate at a shared frequency, they can resonate, amplifying their collective energy. This concept of resonance may extend to consciousness. If individual minds can tune into shared frequencies, they might form a collective consciousness, a united field of shared experiences, thoughts, and emotions. This notion echoes ancient spiritual teachings and the interconnectedness of all beings and provides a framework for understanding shared human experiences. If consciousness and reality are really intertwined with vibrational frequencies, then the potential for global harmony actually exists and lies in our collective ability to resonate harmoniously and coherently. So what does that really mean? That means by attuning ourselves to the frequencies of love, compassion, and understanding, we could collectively manifest a world of peace and cooperation. In essence, the path to global harmony might be a symphony where every individual plays their part, and together we create a world that resonates with hope, love, and unity.

The All-Seeing Eye is a powerful symbol in Freemasonry, representing divine observation, enlightenment, and the gaze of whatever individual deity you choose to subscribe to. In the quantum realm, the act of observation plays a crucial role in determining the state of quantum systems. The parallels between the Masonic concept of an ever-watchful eye and the observer effect in quantum mechanics underscore the idea that observation, whether divine or mortal, shapes reality in profound ways.

Freemasonry emphasizes the pursuit of inner light, the illumination of the soul, and the pursuit of wisdom. This spiritual light can be analogized to quantum potential, the realm of possibilities that exist in the quantum field before they collapse into that definite state. Just as Masons seek to realize their inner potential and attain enlightenment, quantum entities move through possibilities before realizing their particular state. So think about that. That quest for light is being done on every single level of existence, whether you are a subatomic particle, where you are the vastest galaxy there exists, or the universe itself. Everything is on a quest to understand itself and to define itself.

Masonic rituals are not mere ceremonial acts. They are, in essence, transformative experiences designed to elevate the consciousness of the participant through specific symbols, words, and actions. These rituals help attune the Mason's consciousness to those higher vibrational frequencies, fostering spiritual growth and enlightenment, or at least that's what we're hoping to do. This mirrors the idea of resonance in the quantum realm, where tuning into specific frequencies can amplify energy and manifest particular states of being.

Freemasonry, with its roots in stone masonry, places great importance on geometry and proportion. Sacred geometry, including concepts like, for instance, the golden ratio, is seen as a reflection of the divine blueprint of the universe. In the quantum world, patterns, symmetries, and proportions underlie the behavior of particles and forces. The Masonic reverence for geometric perfection and the quantum appreciation for the mathematical nature of reality converge, suggesting a universe built, literally built, upon harmonious principles. So you can see the idea of a plant, a sunflower, a cactus plant, a nautilus shell, a hurricane, or a galaxy built and and functioning along the lines of the perfect golden ratio. What does that tell you? We'll talk about it later.

At its core, Freemasonry is about the transformation of the individual from a rough and unshaped stone to a smooth and polished one. The Mason's journey symbolizes the path from ignorance to enlightenment. Similarly, in the quantum realm, entities transition from states of potential to realized states, defined states, echoing that Masonic journey of growth and realization. So Masonry, instilled in its members, tries to, uh, a strong moral code, emphasizes virtues like integrity, charity, and truth. As we delve deeper into the implications of quantum mechanics, especially the interconnectedness of those things, a new form of ethics emerges. Quantum ethics, as it's tasked, would consider the impacts of actions, understanding that every choice resonates throughout the fabric of existence. The moral compass of Freemasonry, with its timeless virtues, aligns seamlessly with this emerging understanding, reinforcing the idea that ancient wisdom and modern science are but two paths leading to the same profound truth.

Quantum mechanics teaches us to be comfortable with uncertainty and to embrace the vast potentiality of the universe. For the modern Mason, this can be translated into acceptance of life's uncertainties and the recognition of a limitless potential within oneself and the greater whole. By viewing challenges and unknowns not as obstacles, but as opportunities, we can further our own personal growth and better navigate our journeys.

One of the most profound lessons of quantum mechanics is the interconnectedness of all things. As we've said, recognizing that deep connection, both on the quantum level, within the Brotherhood of Freemasonry, and the larger whole of the world in general. This reinforces the idea that our actions have an impact on the collective, urging everyone to act with integrity, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards their brethren and humanity at large. If the universe resonates with these specific frequencies, like we posited in this presentation, Masonic lodges can aim to harmonize with these vibrations, or any organization can harmonize with these vibrations, enhancing the spiritual and personal growth of their members. By creating environments attuned to positive, constructive frequencies, lodges can foster a space of growth, enlightenment, and mutual support, whether through architectural choices, meditative practices, or symbolic representations. Aligning with these universal vibrations can elevate the Masonic experience.

These rituals and chants and other tools of the Masonic trade have been experienced by Masons for centuries. Seeing through the lens of vibration and quantum entanglement, these practices can be understood as tools to tune the Mason's consciousness to specific frequencies. By participating in rituals and chants, Masons can align themselves with beneficial vibrations, aiding in personal transformation, fostering unity within the lodge, and resonating with the larger symphony of the universe. While Freemasonry is steeped in tradition, it is also a fraternity of values that values knowledge and the pursuit of truth. As modern discoveries in quantum mechanics continue to offer new insights into the nature of reality, there's an opportunity here for Freemasonry to adapt and integrate these findings. By juxtaposing ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science, Freemasonry can offer a holistic perspective that bridges the past and the future, ensuring its teachings remain relevant and enlightening.

With quantum mechanics emphasizing all of this interconnection, it recognizes that there's a renewed opportunity for Masons to not only function within their own fraternity but to strengthen a larger global brotherhood among men, recognizing that every Mason, regardless of location or culture, is intrinsically linked at a quantum level and can foster a deeper sense of unity, collaboration, and mutual respect. Right, so we can envision a future here where borders start to fade, where a true global brotherhood, united in purpose and understanding, begins to thrive.

Our understanding of the universe has undergone profound transformations over the centuries. From the tangible craftsmanship of the stonemason, appreciating the intricacies of the physical world, humanity's quest for knowledge has propelled us into this mysterious quantum realm. Yet, despite the vast differences of these various domains, there is a continuous thread of wonder, inquiry, and reverence for the intricacies of existence and how that human spirit is able to stem the the the pathway between the material, the immaterial, and the metaphysical. In this new age of quantum entanglement, Freemasonry holds a unique and pivotal position. Its rich tapestry of symbols, rituals, and teachings provides a bridge between the ancient and the modern, the tangible and the abstract. The Masonic emphasis on personal growth, moral integrity, and the pursuit of knowledge resonates deeply with the revelations of quantum entanglement and quantum mechanics, particularly that entanglement, or interconnectedness of all things, and the potentially inherent nature of the way that these things function in the universe. As we stand at this confluence of tradition and innovation, Freemasonry offers a guiding light, an illumination on the path for individuals and societies navigating this complex system.

And while all of these three things, Freemasonry, quantum mechanics, and vibrational philosophy, are evident and profound, and while that that common thread exists between these three, and I hope I've gone some measure to trying to prove that today, I say that there's there's much more open scholarship, there's much more open research, understanding, meditation on all of these subjects to get them to make more sense, not only to the Brotherhood but also out into the society at large. Because what is the Brotherhood if it is not a microcosm of the way that society can function, if it functioned on principles of friendship, charity, and brotherly love? And with that, I end my presentation with my favorite, uh, I call philosopher, but he was an artist, Constantine Brancusi, who always said, "Create like a god, command like a king, and work as a slave." Thank you very much. And with that, I'll stop sharing the presentation.

So there we are. Excellent. And so that's a lot to unravel. It's a lot to unravel. Yeah. Um, take my glasses off. And so let's, let's talk about it a little. I know you've been sort of probably taking some notes as we've been talking, so we can have some, some points of discussion on this. Um, give me your thoughts right off the bat. How do you feel about it? Do you think it makes sense? Is it BS? Do you see a connection? Do you not see a connection? If so, how does it land for you?

My humble opinion, it definitely lands. There is a connection. Um, yeah, I was taking some notes throughout your presentation, and even though I've seen it a few times, you know, every time there's definitely some information that kind of comes through or thoughts jump out at me, you know. And I, I really started thinking, you know, cuz in quantum entanglement, and, you know, correct me if I'm wrong, but, you know, the whole premise obviously is that there's two particles simultaneously and instantly connected regardless of distance, right? Right. And to me, that starts to get into some other profound questions, um, as an example, if we get into, you know, consciousness. Now, we know from a consciousness perspective, we always say we create our own reality, right? There's vibration and frequency in our consciousness. So, so I was kind of thinking, could quantum wave functions collapsing upon our observation, you know, in our universe indicate that consciousness is really a key factor, you know, obviously rendering our reality, but also from a perspective of, is that actually entangled then universally with other particles somehow? You know, are we actually connected across dimensions? Are we connected to other particles in space and time with our own consciousness, as an example? And what came to mind, and maybe this is a leap or a stretch, but, you know, there's the talk of the Akashic Records, right? Kind of that higher dimensional server, uh, that everything, you know, it's supposedly the roadmap, it's records of every soul, every human, whatever. Uh, so the question is, are we actually entangled with that with our consciousness, or is there something else there? Right? And I also started thinking more in terms of some other theories that are out there or whatever else, you know, we can get into the simulation theory in a few, but, you know, that was just kind of my initial thought there. So I, I like it. I, I, I want to chunk down a little bit on what you're saying because I think you said a lot in a short amount of time there. Uh, yeah, we could go kind of one by one there. Yeah.

So the idea being, well, first of all, let's talk about what it means to have a choice, right? What does "decide" mean? So "decide" means the death of choice. So choice means potentiality. So we're in this idea, this field of potentiality. If you ever read "The Field" by Lynne McTaggart, that's a great book. Um, so there's this field where anything can happen, totally open, a soup mix of a million different things. And as you begin to observe or apply consciousness to it, it starts to coalesce. Well, what does it coalesce into, right? The different possibilities. So you've chosen a path at that point to move forward with. That path starts to coalesce into actuality, into an actual experience that you can, that you can have. Well, what happens to all the other possibilities that could have happened but didn't? Right? So that's where we start to get into that Multiverse idea. Is are there new universes or new dimensions that get created, new realities that you don't walk down, but that if you did walk down those, those pathways would then be the ones that that that existed? But somehow they have to be accounted for somewhere in the universe. They don't just disappear. Energy is not, is neither created nor destroyed, right? According to Third Law of Dynamics. So if that is a piece of energy, that potentiality, you have to use every square in the puzzle, right? You don't just get to use a piece of the puzzle and throw the rest away. So how does that manifest? What do you think?

To me, that kind of goes down to a different rabbit hole because I think there's implications of free will there, right? So, you know, if we do have free will, then obviously, to your point, there's kind of an unlimited amount of variables that could actually take place. And, you know, there's no framework to which we're living from the perspective we could just kind of do whatever. But the way I look at it, you know, from a quantum entanglement perspective, if there's this non-locality in a sense, right? Like you could have particles that are connected, what's to say we're not connected somewhere else? Um, and then if we go by the simulation hypothesis, right? That we live in a simulation, are we kind of pre-programmed? And that's where we're quantum entangled too? Or, you know, is that just a weird kind of, uh, play on it? And is it really that our consciousness is creating our observable world and shaping our reality, right?

It's a great question. It's, you bring up a really cool, again, you've said a lot in a small amount of time there. Um, well, so, you know, do we live in a matrix? It's very possible that we do. I mean, quantum entanglement is really showing us the, the artist's canvas, so to speak, of how this thing literally gets built up. And if it's built, if this presentation is correct, and if what quantum entanglement and quantum mechanics are showing us is that two things, right? So we have time and space. That's a thing for us, right? We're three-dimensional creatures living in a four-dimensional existence because time is that fourth dimension. Then there's friction on everything. So if I move something on one side, and I, even if I try to move my, my two hands together, there's going to be a small delay in my two hands moving together because synapses have to happen and other things like that. So even if I'm more or less moving them together, there's going to be some, uh, uh, noticeable differences in in how I do that, right? So, but quantum entanglement says irrespective of how far apart two particles are in the universe, doesn't matter. Could be on opposite sides of the universe, they could be right next to each other. When one rotates one way, the other one rotates the opposite way, exactly at the same time. So these things, you know, we're talking about using the ideas and the principles of quantum entanglement for, um, for communication across great distances and and other things like that. But I mean, it's crazy that that could exist. That basically says, well, there's certain things that don't subscribe to time and space. Distance and time mean nothing to these particles. Um, here's a question for you. Could it be, with the existence of quantum entanglement, clearly this has scientifically been proven already, is this actually a sign of an underlying program? And maybe it really truly is a simulation. I believe we live in a simulation. I believe that this is a video game that we're that we're taking part in. And in my worst moments, I tend to forget that and think that it's real. If I'm being honest, I, uh, I would say there's no other description for me to understand that other than this. And now it seems that, you know, science is really coming along to support that.

Yeah, what about so much? I think there's so much unknown, right? Because when you look at all these higher dimensions, we look at higher dimensional beings, clearly, uh, some of our guests have alluded to some of the UFOs or whatever you want to call them, UAPs, and such. They were stated they're interdimensional beings. They're from a higher dimension. So with that being said, since we have so many unknowns, and we have no idea, are we actually connected to that dimension in other ways that we don't physically know or see at this point? And that's where I'm kind of wondering. It's like, hey, is there, uh, somebody pulling the strings? And, you know, we've talked about this on other podcast episodes, but even with your own, uh, experimentation with certain psychedelics, you know, you talk about that one, uh, gentleman, we'll put it that way, that said, yeah, we control you guys. And wasn't much of a gentleman, he was more of a man-insect kind of a thing, and he was quite a jerk. So I don't think he's a gentleman in any way, shape, or form. No, nor did he own property, which makes him part of the landed gentry. But no, um, clearly he's not a Mason, I believe anyway. No, no. I imagine he's not. I don't know if Masonry extends to insects as of yet in other dimensions, but, you know, you never know. Who knows? Been around a while.

One of the things I started to experience while I was giving this presentation this time, in essence, really for the public, is that it's very Masonry-centered, but that it could apply to many other organizations. What makes Masonry a little bit different is that they really do, um, one of the big things is really focusing on affecting the inner life of the of the of the man that's going through this process, and how that inner life then leads to a flourishing in the outer life, in in how you affect everyone else around you, ideally, uh, first in the fraternity and then outside. So, you know, for those of our friends who, uh, think Masonry is satanic or other such, and, and here for the, uh, for the extension of some sort of a new world order, I suppose you could take my presentation in that, okay, in that sense. I mean, I am espousing to some extent, um, a global understanding. But, you know, I'm a libertarian by nature. I abhor the idea of some sort of a world government that that overshadows us or or is telling us what to do. I'm very skeptical, as a, as an Eastern European having grown up in communism, of the good that governments can do. And that's not to say governments can't do good, but there's self-interest like anything else. So the idea of going up to that higher, um, vibration, that higher philosophy, that's just something that stuck with me. I'm, I'm curious what your thoughts were on that. I mean, you know, how a non-Masonic audience is likely to, to hear this and what conclusions they might come to.

Well, I think first and foremost, um, there's enough memes on social media that the Freemasons run the world, that we are the Illuminati, we run everything, we control the governments, we control this. It's like, wouldn't that be cool if that were the case? And we can run a bake sale. Come on. I mean, like a pancake breakfast is like, you got guys going in every direction. I was going to say, it's like you can't even get guys to serve dinner properly for God's sakes at the lodge, and, uh, you want to sit here and say, we run the world? Well, if anybody can clue me in as to where those guys are, let me know. Yeah, get a couple of those guys in the lodge. They sound very efficient. Suggestions, highly efficient. But yeah, and you, you know, I've come across this so many times where people are just like, wow, how could you be Christian? How could you be, you know, I'm Roman Catholic. It's like, and I always say, I'm spiritual at this point versus, uh, religious. But the biggest thing, you know, I remember when I even first joined Masonry, people were just like, oh, you, you need to, uh, immediately leave Masonry because the church is going to excommunicate you. And it's just like, I was like, I just got here.

Excommunicated. Yeah. But to that end, I really think these principles apply across the board to anybody, right? Right. And clearly, let's be honest, most people aren't sitting there thinking about quantum entanglement on their daily drive to work or, you know, their day. Uh, well, maybe we are, but others aren't. Uh, you know, hopefully some of our listeners are. But to that end, I really do think, you know, at least from a consciousness perspective and a daily, yeah, words become things. You really have to be careful of your mindset. You have to be careful of where you're going with, you know, that self-doubt when you're saying stuff out loud. You don't want to speak that into your life. And I think all too often, a lot of people are hard on themselves. They'll say things that they don't mean, or, you know, they get mad and say whatever. So I think at least from a dumbed-down version of quantum entanglement, maybe we're not looking at the particle level. Let's just look at even at our own daily lives, you know, if you could just be more positive, not think about things. And I know we had a discussion last night which was pretty profound when you think about instead of sitting there and trying to control everything in your life, by just going with the flow and accepting what is, you never know why things are happening. But, you know, to that end, I guess, uh, we can look at it two ways. We're either in this matrix where everything's already predefined and there's a program running, and you kind of wonder when you look at some of the historical aspects, like look at how many times civilization seems to have been wiped out, potentially, right? So, you know, it's certainly an interesting concept. And civilization, you know, younger Dryas and other events that were cataclysmic, you know, it's very possible that, uh, there was a reset button that got hit, right?

I agree. Was it? Well, it's, it's a, it's a bit of a tough one because, let's see here. I, so, um, I don't know if you've read this book yet, "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah." Sort of my favorite. Not, and it's, uh, it's pretty good on, um, why this thing changes and why the world is the way that it is. So, um, it talks about an enlightened person, a Messiah, and how he's afraid of being killed like all the other Messiahs. So he's hanging out and being an airplane mechanic, um, and he just likes, and he goes from town to town because the more he preaches, the more people go, "Oh, well, he's enlightened." The minute they do that, he knows he's on some level in danger and moves on. But he gives a quick story, which I think, uh, emphasizes exactly what we're talking about here. And they said, "Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river. The current of the river swept silently over them all, young and old, rich and poor, good and evil. The current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self. Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and the rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life and resisting the current that each had learned from birth. But one creature said, 'At last, I'm tired of clinging on. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.' The other creatures laughed and said, 'Fool! Let go in that current you worship will throw you, tumbled and smashed across the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom.' But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath, he let go. And at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks. Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more. And the creatures downstream to whom he was a stranger cried, 'See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the Messiah come to save us all!' And the one carried in this, in the current, said, 'I am no more Messiah than you. The river delights to lift up the free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure.'" So what do you think about that?

I think that's pretty cool, you know. Yeah. Go ahead.

No, I mean, there's a little bit more to the story, but the, the idea is that, um, that's a whole thing. And almost every celebrity, guru, Messiah, avatar, whatever you want to call them, sort of espouses the same thing. Plato's Allegory of the Cave is exactly the same, right? You can either watch something that has been pre-programmed for you on the, uh, you know, on the cave wall, or you could walk out into the sunshine and experience the real thing for yourself.

Angela, yeah, go ahead. You know what came to mind when you were reading that, and I'm not sure why this came to mind, but when you look at the Hermetic principles, right? As above, so below. Does that align with modern quantum entanglement? And if you think about déjà vu, and even, let's just say the Law of Attraction, right? You know, there's obviously a lot of talk about the Law of Attraction and manifestation. Is that actually quantum entanglement?

I believe it is. I believe it is, and they're reflections of each other. That's why when one does a quarter turn to the right, the other one does a quarter turn to the left at the exact same time. As above, so below, right? Uh, same with the Yin Yang. I mean, the Yin Yang is merely an interpretation of that duality. But I think people do themselves a disservice when they look at the Yin Yang in a static pattern because the Yin Yang really should be looked at actively. In other words, that small dot of white within the larger black is constantly growing and then being subsumed by the black, and then the white again, and then the black again. It's doing this all of the time, right? So it's growing in and out of each other, showing that duality and the harmony that things happen. So it's, it's very interesting. Um, we started talking about a little bit that Hegelian or even Marxist dialectic of the idea that quantitative gains lead to qualitative leaps. And the idea that as you have, you gain, you gain, you gain, and whatever it is, experience, science, religion, whatever. And all of a sudden, you have, uh, an upswing that leads you to a higher state of consciousness. Marx says that, you know, you're going from capitalism to socialism to some, uh, idea of communism as the, the, and all be all. Uh, of course, he takes God out of the equation, which I think is a huge mistake because then you're, you're, you're putting together, uh, everything on a false rung of human ego, which is destined for failure. Um, so that's, that's my my thought on the subject. What about yourself?

You know, I'm kind of wondering, so now I'm kind of going down a whole rabbit hole in my head. Now, naturally, it's like this stuff always happens, but, of course, yeah, I look and I think back to our episode with Paulo Santo, or Paulo Santo, sorry, where he had a near-death experience. Well, he actually died, technically, went to heaven, all that. You have your experience with psychedelics, obviously. And, you know, Nester talks about that extensively as well. And then even, you know, we get into something like remote viewing and astral projection. I'm actually wondering, does that actually give a glimpse outside of this simulation then, if, if we go by the simulation theory and that we're living in the Matrix? Because it's, and, you know, recently, when we can link it again, that DMT video as well, where they're staring at the laser after smoking DMT at at the wall, and people are seeing what looks like the code of the Matrix and everything else. You know, it's, uh, it really is a, a great question. And then when somebody like Eric throws out there that the moon's not what we think it is and all that, it's, yeah, you start wondering. It's like, hey, there's a lot we don't know in this world, right? It's a lot of cheese up there in the sky because the moon is made of cheese. Um, yeah, that was a great, great Harry Caray impression on SNL years ago. So I don't know. It's, it's a tough one, man. You know, you and I have been, uh, exposed to a fair amount of interesting esoteric organizations, uh, within the Freemason umbrella and outside. Um, and again, people understand what Freemasonry is. It's, it's like a clearing house for folks that are interested, men in particular, who are interested in just being better themselves. All right? So there's, there's a path you can walk in it. Masonry is not a religion. It doesn't espouse to be. It's what they call a handmaid unto religion. It's, it's a set of principles and a philosophy that can plug into whatever religion you have to help create some regimentation, some ideas, some thoughts about how you can get deeper into your own religion or, or your own faith. Um, and one of the interesting things, at least in America, is you must subscribe to a higher, uh, higher being, a Supreme Being of some kind, whether it's Hinduism, Judaism, uh, whatever, Buddhism, uh, Christianity, um, anything that it is, um, you must be sincere in your belief of that higher being. Um, but yeah, yeah, outside of that, nobody trying to take over anything. No, definitely not.

I mean, and, and, you know, the interesting thing is even if you start getting into, yeah, if we pertain, or let's say we compare, or not compare, but intertwine the Hermetic principles here, right, with quantum entanglement, "As Above, So Below," as we were just talking about. I mean, fundamentally, it seems like there's the microcosm and macrocosm, right? And let

I think our thoughts and consciousness really are connected to that quantum field. And I kind of feel like, on a grander scale, because how many times does everybody out there pray? Or how many times do you meditate? Or, you know, you have a huge decision in life, right? It's like, I would imagine, and at least personally, you might pray to God and ask for guidance, or whatever your higher power is. And not necessarily God, but I'm just saying, in general, if you, you may not call it God, but that doesn't mean that it's not.

No, exactly. Right. I'm just talking about a higher being. I mean, there's obviously, depending on your religion and your belief system. Um, if you're an atheist, I'm not sure who you're calling upon for guidance. But either way, um, all I'm getting at is it seems like there's so many folks that have asked questions to a higher power and received some kind of answer, right? And at least felt much better about it after getting spiritual guidance, or whatever you want to call it. So, you know, I kind of look at that as it's like, all right, is that actually part of quantum entanglement then? Is it actually, you know, your awareness and that microcosm and macrocosm there?

It's a great question. Um, what are your thoughts on it? I think, maybe we won't necessarily call it quantum entanglement because I don't know if there's necessarily a particle on the other end that's, you know, necessarily, uh, being influenced by that thought or the prayer. But I do think, in general, there's definitely something out there that's giving us that information and leading us to, to whatever it is. And, you know, that's where you kind of wonder. It's like, well, you know, get into this whole theory of, uh, simulation, maybe, maybe not. But, you know, the one thing, even, you know, with Masonry and other orders, there's obviously alchemy components and, you know, just the transformation of the self and the soul, right? And, you know, I kind of wonder, like, if you look at ancient teachings, like the, the macrocosm really is the cosmos, right? And then you can look at the microcosm being the individual from certain perspectives. So I would imagine scientifically, there's probably a bridge there. Maybe it hasn't been discovered yet, but I think it's out there. And I don't know if anybody's actually sitting there really looking into this, right?

Well, we're, we're looking at it at least from a, um, you know, it's funny, uh, because you bring up a great point, um, and part of it is about expertise. Um, you know, you look at guys going to the Cosmic Summit, Cosmic Summit, or other of these sorts of cons for folks in our, um, in our esoteric realm, so to speak, that we, that we, that we talk about on this show. And a lot of them are geologists, they're, you know, archaeologists, they're other people, scholars of all different kinds that have, um, you know, hard science backgrounds sometimes into all of these things. They've gone to Goli, they've gone to all these other places, um, and and dug there. Or, you know, Scott Walder has his forensic geology background, uh, where he was the one who really, uh, uh, checked out the K, the Runestone for the first time in a way, in a big way. We come at it from a different point of view. We are experts in Freemasonry. That's our, that's our science, uh, of a sort. Uh, you know, Firi is is how do you cou, you it's a system of morality, uh, and in order to understand it better, those ideas are explained through symbols. And because, I mean, Jesus spoke in parables, right? Just as an example. Buddha often times spoke in in different ways to try to impress upon his followers and the folks that paid attention, uh, how best to ingrain the philosophy. Mason uses symbols of different kinds, um, to to do that same thing and sort of allegorical stories about those symbols to to act upon the consciousness in that sense, to set little anchor points that make sense so that they're easier to to understand so they're not so abstract in terms of philosophies. It's one of the big things and I'm afraid on some level that the my talk was a little bit abstract today. So I hope people really get or maybe go back through it and and and listen to to some of it again. Um, but we want to try to make this as accessible to as many people as possible. The idea being very purely, there's a system of, there's a, a field of potentiality where anything can happen. That field can be acted on by human consciousness, by our ability to observe and look at and measure something, and that something then becomes concrete. So, and we look at that as being reality. So, can reality be changed by our observation and our thoughts or not? And and that's kind of where we really go about it. And if it can, what is the responsibility on us to change that reality for the better? So that's, that's really what we're talking about today.

So here's a weird one. And maybe this is, uh, going off the rails a little bit. But some people believe in parallel universes, right? So if a parallel universe or multiple parallel universes exist, how does quantum entanglement juxtapose those other realities in other parallel universes?

Well, ask your question a little bit more concretely. In other words, what, what are you getting at?

Well, meaning, some people believe that in parallel universes, there's other realities where it's like, Alex, you know, you were an NBA basketball player in another parallel universe, or, you know, maybe you were the most, want to be this universe. Well, you know, whatever. But I'm just saying, in general, it's like, if there's quantum entanglement, would that pertain to these multiple parallel universes, you know, at the soul level? Because it's just like, obviously, if there's parallel realities and other realities, it doesn't seem like then our actions necessarily and our soul kind of, uh, perspective would actually influence that parallel universe, then. So where are we connected to?

Great question. Um, well, first of all, so if we gather the idea that we are who we are in all of these various universes, having there's just different versions of ourselves, right? That goes into the idea that God, in order to experience himself, breaks himself into pieces. And those pieces, um, of himself are how he then is able to have a relationship with himself, right? Because then there's an other. There's not just one, one being. Um, so it actually gets a little bit hairier than what you bring up. Because the, the, the quantum entanglement of these particles isn't just among all the various Alexes that exist, or all the various Daves that exist, in all the various iterations of the universe, for the paths taken and the paths not taken. The choice is up to you, my friend. Sorry. That's I'll the boss.

Um, well, and the way that it gets a little deeper is that you are not only is Alex all the Alexes, but Alex might be all the Daves, or Dave might be all the Alexes, or all the Erics, or the all the all the everybody else. In other words, not only are we tied to all the Alexes in every dimension, we're tied to everyone else who's doing this in every dimension who's living. Um, and that's where that quantum entanglement really gets entangled. Because it's like, in order for the matrix to work, all of these things have to happen together, right? So they all have to, they have to be entangled because they affect each other. What I do can affect you on some level, right? And then there's, there's two streams of things happening. There's the outer world of Dave slaps Alex in the face, and there's the inner world of how Alex chooses to react to that, right? Those are two separate things. Which is one of the reasons why Jesus says, turn the other cheek. Because it's not just because a stimulus acts upon you, doesn't mean that you then immediately have to trigger. There really is no cause and effect. Everything comes from this field of potentiality. That's the huge difference. It's not that things are predetermined. Like, oh, if this happens, that has to happen. No, there's a field of potentiality. Now, there might be a propensity for things to happen. Something might be more likely than not, but it's not exclusively so. Where if something happens, then this happens. If I slap you, you slap me, maybe. But maybe not. Maybe you punch me, you kick me, maybe you do something else, maybe you do nothing. Maybe you just walk away and choose not to. But again, there's an outer choice and then there's an inner choice. There's my choice to affect you, which is probably predicated upon some previous choice that somebody else made to affect me, right? So I could choose, but again, I could choose to slap you. I could choose not to slap you. Even if I choose to slap you, you can choose to slap me back or not, or to do something else. These things are independent choices, and they each have their own branches of, if you slap me back, we go down this universe where this thing happens. If you don't slap me back, we go down to a different multiverse where something else happens. So that's the very intricate, very interesting way that all these things, uh, vibrate and work upon each other. This web of possibilities.

Well, then I feel like if you take that a step forward and you say, we create our own realities. Yeah. And if we truly are creating our own observable universe, then to the point of, uh, you know, all these Alexes, all these Daves, all these different simulations or whatever you want to call them, if, if in theory, we're just kind of, uh, there's also that theory, right? That we create our own realities and we just are choosing to kind of interact with one another within that reality, right?

Right. So, you know, I think there's a larger question there. You know, what is the actual universe we're living in? Who are we? Who created us? And why?

Well, there's a lot of that. But so Teal Swan talks about the idea, and she's not the only one, but it's just the most recent that comes to mind. She talks about the idea of, and Abraham Hicks talks about this too, um, the, the idea that it's not a creation, it's a co-creation. So while I'm creating, you're creating, and our co-creation sort of dovetails and creates this panoply, this, this, this tapestry of various creative things, threads that all come together to create this warp and weft of reality. The reality is all of us creating together, co-creating. Um, so I guess we're creating in one space. In fact, we're creating in all spaces. Because us not creating in those other spaces doesn't mean that those spaces no longer exist. I don't know if they end up static, if those other paths just stop, or if they continue, right? The, the idea that being, you know, the universe is infinite and God is infinite, all of these various possibilities may be playing out from one thing. My friend Peter, who I did some yoga with, and and and he comes up with the idea that if you die, you just jump over to a different reality and continue on, if you want, right? So for some level, Paulo Santos talked about that in his, in his thing, saying, you know, you have the possibility to live these various iterations of your own life where you die, where you live, where you continue. You could live your kids' lives. Now, how are you living your kids' lives? How are you able to see that? Right? That's not you, that's your kids' or your wife's life, or your worst enemy's life, or what, whatever, who, whoever that is. So do you think from that perspective, we talked about, you know, I with Eric Ireland, we talked about with Chuck Dunning, some others, if we get into duality and then non-duality and singular non-duality, um, I feel like from that perspective, I mean, I think we're of the belief system that we're all trying to reintegrate with God and, uh, become one with consciousness and one with God, or whatever you want to call your higher being. So to that end, are we actually one consciousness and we've just kind of split ourselves into all these different elements right now to kind of have all these different experiences? Or is there something more to that?

I definitely think that that's part of it. Cuz I feel like quantum entanglement in this case, if wouldn't we be then singular duality, or not duality, but singular non-duality where we'd be one with God and consciousness and we wouldn't have our own free will and thinking? Or conversely, some people would argue we might be, we're all demi-gods, our own God, right?

Right. That's, well, I mean, however you get at this, I think if you really choose to take it out to the extreme, there's two theories. There's either the idea of a singularity that occurs that we're part of, right? So however you end up, you're going to be, you're going to be part of a larger God. Or the, I guess, modern way of some of these religions understanding, including Christianity, is that we're separate, right? So God is out there and we're over here, and best we can hope for is to have a relationship with God. Even though I'm remaining Orthodox Christian, and at least, you know, titularly so, um, uh, but even in there, you have the idea of theosis, um, of where you're becoming like God. Now, I don't think they've got the, the gumption to really say what they mean, which is that you can really be God. You can really have that apotheosis, so to speak, where you can, you transcend your own humanity, your own ego, your own stuff, and you reach what's in the core of yourself, made in the image and likeness of God, right? It's, and, and, and really get at what it is that you are in your true essence, which is God thought. Um, now, people, they freak about that because they, it's very uncomfortable to imagine that, number one, there's something beyond your own ego, and that you don't really exist, and that you're just God with a mask on trying to, you know, uh, get to know himself better. And then people, what the ego immediately says, well, am I just a drop in the ocean? Does that mean that I just completely dissolve and disappear? And that may be the case. Um, yeah, I'm going to a Vipassana soon, which is, uh, 10 days of, uh, meditation and such. And if I break through my ego barrier there, I'll come back and report back as to what things are. Now, Eric Ireland was one of those people. So, you know, he, he spoke very eloquently, I think, about breaking through that and what that looks like and how life looks after that.

So how do you feel the ego ties into entanglement?

The ego is the principle that ties you to the video game. You have to believe that this is real because it's what makes the game have verisimilitude. It's, it's what makes the game true in your mind. And if the game is true and you believe it, then you forget about other stuff and you just have your experience, whatever you can have during your lifetime. If you stop believing it and you start breaking the system, then you're going to have a different experience. Um, one thing you're assured in this life is you're going to have an experience. Whatever that experience is, whether it's quote unquote good or bad or whatever, you're going to have an experience. And that ego is there to ensure that you have your experience. Question is, what if you want to go beyond it? Now you're sort of trying to break the system, and the system will fight back because it wants to continue, it wants to survive. It's got a job to do, and you're trying to mess with that. So, yeah.

See, I think this is almost a paradox in a way though. Because ego is more of the self. It's more individual. It, um, it's the identity within us. But also, with a lack of better word, would, uh, you know, destroys most people. But with that being said, if quantum entanglement, if we're actually entangled to other particles, if we're entangled to, uh, you know, let's just say a singular system or something, then is ego just an illusion?

Yes, absolutely. So the whole thing's evolution. The matrix is an illusion. It's an illusion anchoring you to another illusion, right? That's pretty much.

So, but then in that case, I mean, in some of the ancient traditions, isn't it said that, uh, the self is an illusion?

Yeah, the self is the ego. There's no, there's no self per se, right? So, and I say that abstractly. I'm not actually feeling that. Now, guys like Eric or Angelo or Adyashanti, or some of these people, look, they've been able to truly transcend. They've, as my, as my, my friend, um, Ken says, they've been to the party, right? So, you know, they know they're not speaking abstractly. Or, you know, recently, you got guys like Billy Carson who've gotten on some of these shows. He went on a podcast and got ripped up pretty good by Wes Huff, um, because, you know, some people say he's talking out of his butt with his particular knowledge about what this and that is. And he basically has, at least the contention is that he has either stolen or appropriated other people's knowledge and and pawns it off as his own. I don't know if that's true or not. Love to have him on the podcast and ask him, um, to sort of explain himself. We'd certainly give him the platform to do that. Um, but yeah, so that's kind of where that's kind of where we are with things. Um, I, I think that, uh, if you've been to the party and you know, then you can speak with another level. And that's my big goal is to go to the party. Go to the party, baby! I'm like Spuds McKenzie, baby. I just want to party. He's gonna wear his sunglasses at night. That's right. So, yeah, I mean, what about yourself? Are you, what are your goals in and around this sort of ego barrier idea? Thoughts on that front?

So for me personally, I try to not let my ego, um, guide me on a daily basis. I, I try to practice more humility and not, um, not sitting there pounding the chest like, hey, I'm better than you, or I'm better than anybody. I just look at myself as an individual going through life. And, you know, with this platform, we're really hoping to help people, uh, you know, on their spiritual journeys. And, you know, just obviously, we give our perspectives and our thoughts, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's, you know, the matter of fact. It's just opinions, obviously. And in some cases, it might be fact. But, you know, for this, I feel like I kind of struggle with this whole concept of the simulation. And, you know, even this quantum entanglement because I do feel like God gave us free will. I do feel that we have the ability to make our own decisions. I think ego has certainly ruined a lot of people in a lot of ways because sometimes what you should be doing and what you practically put into practice should be done not with the ego in mind. And, you know, I think we could all argue that whether it's been, uh, a relationship, whether it's been work-related, whether it's been, you know, friendship, anything, there's so many different possibilities with the ego, right? But I think there's so many times where you've sat there and been like, H, I'm going to prove this person wrong. And it's just like, well, do you have to? You know, why are you trying to prove them wrong? Is it to inflate your ego? Is it just puff your chest out, make yourself feel better? Or is there actually a way to help that person by proving them wrong?

I mean, that's a great point you're making because a lot of it, let's take Billy Carson for instance. So let's say that, you know, we, we, we have the scenario, the hypothetical that certain things he's saying are are either appropriated or stolen or or or wrong, or fraudulent. You know, not saying that they are, but let's take it as a hypothetical. Even if it's completely fraudulent, it doesn't mean that it's without merit because there's certain things about certain theories, right? There's only one mountain at the end of the day, and there's a million paths that get you up that mountain to enlightenment. But even in something like, you go to a, a medium or a, a, a, a tarot card reader, and she could be or he could be completely wrong and even trying to fool you actively, right? For their own agendas or whatever the case may be, it doesn't mean that what they're saying won't on some level help you. Does that make sense?

Yeah, that makes total sense. And because it's not always up to them what happens, right?

Right. So the universe has its own ideas. For what if God exists and we think it? Yes. Yeah. And to that point, there's so many times I think where people, you want a certain outcome, but that's where we were talking about earlier, where it's just like, sometimes you just have to accept things as they are.

Well, you should always accept things as they are, in a sense. You know, clearly, I'm not saying you can't change them. Like, as an example, you want to lose weight, you want to, you know, improve, you want to learn something, go pick up a book, go take a class, whatever. You could obviously influence that. That's a positive thing, don't get me wrong. But what I'm getting at is sometimes, you know, you might want something to happen, and the universe's timeline and your timeline are never the same, typically. And, you know, as the, uh, Jewish proverb went, and our friend Mark always uses that, it's like, you know, man makes plans, God laughs. And it's really kind of true in some way because it's just like, listen, sometimes our plan is not what the divine or, you know, what's meant for us. And that's where you can get frustrated. You can be incredibly just like, I deserve this, or I deserve that. And it's like, maybe so. But whatever the outcome is, you have to just accept, and you have to understand that sometimes you might not have seen the bigger picture. And you might not see that, oh, well, if this happened the way I wanted it to, like, that would have been the end of me or whatever else. It's like, you have no idea. But there's usually some kind of either divine plan, simulation that's running, a program, whatever it is. Everything typically just works out the way it was supposed to, right?

I guess so. So the interesting bit of this is, right? So you're climbing this mountain, let's use that as an idea, looking for enlightenment. And your ego is with you the whole time, helping you on some level, right? On every level, because it wants to have you continue to have this experience. So, but what the ego envisions is that you're just going to be you, right? So you're going to be Dave, but enlightened Dave. I'm going to be enlightened Alex with the ego intact and everything else. I'll just be enlightened. What it, on some level, I think fails to realize, and this is again, by people who've been to the party, is that the ego doesn't either. It morphs into something else, or it goes away. And it doesn't want that. So it's funny because it, while it wants you to have the experience of living this life and having the experiences, it doesn't want to die. It has its own need to desire to live in fear of death. So that fear barrier keeps you within the bounds of where you're going, right? So there's an interesting juxtaposition, again, another paradox that exists there.

So to that point, Alex, I feel like in a way, does that mean it's kind of the biggest trick? It's like the ego is pulling the wool over your eyes and convincing us that we're separate when in actuality, we're all one?

Well, correct. But it comes by it honestly because it's trying to get you to continually have this experience that you signed up for, which is to have this life as Dave. Like, you want to have a Dave life? Great. Let's have a Dave life. You want to have an Alex life? Great. But the ego's like, well, you can't have it always ways either. You're going to do it or you're not going to do it. But you know you're going to have whatever experience you're going to have when you have it. And ego might be, the ego might be questioning, why do you spend so much time in this fraternity?

Oh, well, there's a lot of things questioning that as an idea. There's no question about that. No. But but realistically, and we're just making reference, so in Freemasonry, folks, you could be out every night of the week. You could be at multiple events on the same day. And trust me, I have, and so have you.

Yes. Yeah. And now you've stepped back from it a little bit because you got a job, right? And, uh, been, uh, yeah, it's definitely, you know, and it's not only just that, I just needed a little bit of a breather after, uh, two years of being master. And technically, you could add some more time to that because former master had cancer and, you know, he was, uh, not in the best of health at the time. So had to kind of pick up for him as well. Poor guy.

So, yeah. God rest his soul. But, uh, yeah, from that perspective, though, I, I feel like the ego is extremely important, but it's also something that you can't let control you. That's the biggest takeaway. Because egos have destroyed so many people's lives. I think, uh, there's probably people in prison. There's probably people that have been murdered or killed because of their ego, frankly.

Oh, there's no doubt. Um, and it's funny because we start talking about angels and demons and possession and other things like that. We've been pretty scientific in this discussion so far. You know, but when we talk to Father Pat and other people, we go in a very different direction. When I've been at my worst egotistically, saying things that I then regret and want to take back later, in anger, or whatever it is, I feel like I'm not myself in that moment. It's like I turn off and something else comes in, says the thing, and then retreats. And then it's like me now having to deal with the consequences of what just happened. Um, and it's, it's, it's very strange that, you know, that kind of thing. So out of that field of potentiality, if we want to keep it scientific, there emerges a different vibration, and you've now tapped into that vibration, which has taken you down another route, that you now either try to recover from. But, you know, you can't step in the same river twice. So once you, the equation, it's changed. To your point, and I always say this to people, you know, a lot of folks, maybe they don't believe in the paranormal, they don't believe in a lot of different things from that realm, right? But I always say, well, where does the term "bad vibe" come from? Or when you go to a place and you're just like, uh, you know, you just feel a bad energy, or you have an eerie feeling like you, that feeling you're being watched, or whatever else. It's just like, where do you think that's coming from? That's all frequency and vibration. And obviously, when you're putting yourself in negativity, the negative headspace, self-negative talk, or whatever else, that definitely has an impact on the reality, right? True. Whether you want it to or not. And, you know, it's, uh, it's highly important that you don't have to believe or look into the science, but the science shows the resonance and frequency. There is vibration. I mean, we're just everything. Like, even that hard surface, your desk in front of you, whatever else, scientifically, that's just a vibration of a bunch of atoms, right? It's like they're spinning and moving or whatever else. And, uh, you know, saw a pretty funny meme yesterday about some guy that was got pulled over for drunk driving, but he's just like, well, the world's spinning at, you know, 14,000 miles an hour, and the universe is moving at this speed, and all this. And he's like, that's why I wasn't driving between the lines. You know? Yeah, sure. You might be missing something in that, aren't there? But who knows, exactly. You know, kind of ridiculous. But the point being is, you know, before anybody sits there and says, yeah, that can't be the case, I encourage everybody to research it. I mean, the things we say, we're not telling you to believe us, but what we're telling you is, do your own research. Go out there and explore that. Be open-minded. One of us, one of us. The truth is out there, as they used to say on The X-Files with the fake photo in the background, right? We've all Masons. No, uh, definitely don't do that. [Laughter] That you do not want to believe all Masons. There's some fantastic Masons, and there's also some, some real knuckleheads. Um, yeah, would you question how they ever got into the fraternity? And clearly, they didn't guard the west gate properly. No. Much. No. That's, that's, there's definitely been just trying to put bodies in seats at some point. So, yeah, there's, uh, there's no question about that. But listen, that's what it means to have an organization run by people, right? So, you know, it's not going to be perfect. It's going to strive for perfection, but it's going to fail. And, uh, you do your best with it and K from there. But yeah, um, I, I think it's, even with Masonry being as long as it's been as a fraternity, I don't think its point is to go on forever. I think its point is to be a vehicle for change, like a lot of other things. I mean, practice a martial art, right? Practice Tai Chi, practice Kung Fu, practice whatever to the nth division, it's going to change you as a person. It's just going to change you, right? So any religion, when actively and and and truthfully practiced, is going to change you as a person. Um, even doing something, you know, like an activity that, that you take anything that you take to a sublime level will change you as a person, whether it's shooting pool, you know, or or or whatever, lighting incense, doing tea ceremonies, even the most mundane thing can be taken to the sublime, and once it's done that, it will have an effect on you as a person. Um, my, uh, our friend, uh, uh, Mark DiOrio, uh, also Mason and a, and a friend, and somebody who I think we're going to have hopefully as a guest soon, I think it was, I forget who was the, the poet that he talked about, but he said, beauty is truth, and truth, beauty. That is, uh, uh, what you need to know and all you need to know. It might be Rudyard Kipling, but, uh, yeah, that's just the name that's coming to mind. But I, sometimes I don't think it is. But, uh, anyway, so that's the idea that in truth, there is beauty. When you look at something that is beautiful, you, it just lines up for you in your chakras, in your system, and your meridians, and whatever else, and it just, you immediately know that there's truth there, right? There's God there. They, it transcends whatever it is that you're doing. So bring, bring whatever you're doing, whatever activity you're doing that you like to do, to that sublime level, and you'll find some truth there. I think that that's, that's what I posit.

Well, everybody's journey is different, right? And, yeah, but they're all the same in that way. It is for sure. I think it's just a matter of how they get there. Exactly. And maybe that's another place where the quantum entanglement exists. Truth that binds us all, right? That functions to turn us or to make us work on the most fundamental level. And it's about uncovering all of the stuff to get back to that fundamental level, that reintegration where you really end up finding that ultimate truth of yourself.

Well, right. And that's where, you know, it's interesting because you hear so many stories where people, they have their daily routines or whatever they do on a regular basis. And it's like, well, this day, you know, I woke up late, I had a cup of coffee, and I spilled it. So it's like, I, I left two minutes later, and there is this horrible accident or whatever happened. And it's like, if they had left right on time, they would have been in that accident, right? Absolutely. Same thing with, you know, you go back to 9/11 or things of that nature. Yet had people that missed their train or their alarm never went off, and they would have been in the towers and probably would have perished. So there's so many instances in life where things like that happen. And that's where, you know, there's this obviously divine kind of intervention. There's this plan that's out there that you might not realize at the time. But, you know, I'm sure anybody could look back on certain events that happen in their life and say, man, if I did what I was planning to do, this probably would have happened to me or whatever else. So I think it's important to just recognize, always, there is a greater plan that you're probably not aware of. And just try to be in tune to that. And, you know, we had a discussion yesterday where we were talking about, even if you don't know an answer to something or you're looking for guidance or whatever else, pray on it. Go to sleep. When you wake up in the morning, you might have the answer. Yeah. Who knows why you get the answer other than there's some other, uh, whether it's quantum entanglement, whether it's divine intervention, whatever you want to call it, it's there. And for those that meditate and have a pretty good way of getting into a headspace where they feel like they can connect to the divine, there's definitely some, uh, fun meditations out there where you could try to access the Akashic Records, too.

Have you tried that?

I have in the past and I was able to actually get into kind of the filing and the archives, but in some cases, I couldn't actually read some of the book. And I was told that the reason for that was because I wasn't ready to read it or see it or, you know, it just wasn't available. And, you know, yeah, it wasn't really checked out because it was right there physically. Don't buy that book. Yeah, just couldn't flip to the page, so to speak. And, you know, I was told by mediums and other individuals that was just because you weren't meant to see it yet.

Isn't that such a convenient answer? A little too. I really, I really hate those answers, to be honest with you. Really do. A little too convenient for me, for my taste.

Well, it's just like when some people just say they have an NDA in place. You can't tell us. Yeah. Eric, I mean, other people do. Other people. Well, you know, I didn't.

Defense. There were others like, obviously, uh, you know, we were talking about CIA remote viewing and such, right?

Well, yeah, of course. I mean, Carl started getting into some of that stuff. And, well, exactly. Carl said, you know, he works with Ingo Swann and, you know, obviously with the CIA, he remote viewed the moon and other things. And all he said was, if people saw what was on the moon, it would scare the hell out of them. It's just like, great, awesome. Thanks. I mean, that's both, both Eric and Carl said the same thing in that respect, which is, right, on some level, a little worrisome. But I know quite.

But again, but again, it's one of those things where is it worrisome because it's just like, what the hell am I going to do to change it?

Well, that's the big deal, right? Like, so, you know, that man came up to me and telling me, hey, by the way, this is what's going to happen when you're dead. You're like, well, if that's what's going to happen and there's no possibility for change. Um, but that's the whole thing. I mean, there is acceptance of what is. But that doesn't mean that because you, Dave, for me, Alex, aren't actually participating in the change that things don't change, right? So again, the universe has its own plans on whatever. And those things could be having everything in their agenda saying, we're going to take over humanity. We're going to either reduce them to a food source, or we're going to have something where we're where we're going to manipulate them and they're going to be our slaves and our client race for, uh, our client race for, uh, eons and and and forever. Well, just because those guys think that that's what's going to happen and that's what they're working towards, doesn't mean that that's what's going to happen, right? So that, you know, again, we have that event horizon, be be that you cannot look beyond that where God says, no, I make the decisions. And whatever experience is going to have is the experience you're going to have. You make the decision as to how you're going to behave about it. I give you the stimulus, right? So when I slap you, or you slap me, is it really God slapping you because it's an outside stimulus? Whoever ultimately ends up being the the the the carrier of that stimulus, or we're not? Am I, am I acting on God's orders when I slap your ass around? Or or or are you doing that to me? Or or not? What do you think?

So are you tying the person up when you're slapping their ass?

Well, I, I didn't mean slapping your ass. And it says slapping your ass around, which meant more of a general. I I'll contain my slaps to your facial area. A positive thing. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, you know, I, for me personally, I just feel like it, it's kind of intriguing because what Eric was kind of alluding to, even on the last episode with him, he was kind of saying that even the paranormal is not what we think it is. And I really want to get deeper into that conversation with him because I'm trying to wrap my head around, well, what is it then? You know, because he was saying, you know, he used the example, and obviously he wasn't saying this was the case, but he was saying, what if we are food for, you know, an alien race? Or what if your soul is actually owned by somebody, you know, a different interdimensional being or whatever? You know, it's kind of like, all right, I just got to accept what is, then. I mean, what else can we do about it? It's like, I don't think we're going to punch him in the face or slap him on the ass and, you know, get out of it, right?

True. Yeah. I think there has to be that acceptance as well. That just like it is what it is. If I'm a speck of dirt for 50,000 years, great. It's like that's, uh, sounds like a dirt nap for sure.

Oh, a dirt nap without doubt, my friend.

Larger question is, what I mean, look, are these just rabbit holes which again are meant to just provoke thought? Um, or are they as much a distraction as anything else, right? I mean, you know, the, there's even the Hermetic principles say that everything is mental, right? So your conscious, I guess, is mental. But I'm not sure if they mean mental as in an aspect of the mind. I think they go beyond the mind, right? That the mind is a, a subset of everything that could be mental, which probably includes also the spiritual. Um, so good question is, you know, how much of this is real, if any, and how much of it is affectable by our intervention on it? And what does that intervention really do to it? Does it make it more real? Is that what makes it concrete? Or is it ever even concrete, or just some other malleable thing which somebody else helps to co-create? And then, you know, you're constantly pulling at this sort of web of possibilities that keeps coalescing into various things. Um, it's a good question. I don't know.

Yeah, it truly is a good question. It's, we don't know the answer. We'd love to have, uh, folks weigh in on the comments and see what your thoughts are on this front. Again, yeah, and and definitely let us know what your thoughts are on, uh, you know, we're trying to do more like educational as well as, you know, we're still going to be doing our regular episodes. Yeah. Um, and we apologize that, you know, if you're listening to this in 2025, first couple weeks of the year, I lost my voice. I literally didn't have a voice. I had a whisper. So that wasn't conducive for podcasting, I'll say that much.

No, but it's important to know that Dave really doesn't talk all that much in these podcasts anyway. It's supply me. But, uh, you know, it's, uh, true. I could have just sat there and been like, it's nice. Very nice. Um, but no, I'm joking. Um, we, we are very much a partnership, and I couldn't do this without him. It's, uh, and yes, so he lost his voice. And, um, what we also constituted was every certain folks were telling us, make your episodes shorter, make them a half an hour, make them an hour. They're easily digestible, they're this and that. But what we found was the people that were telling us that weren't really looking at the podcast anyway. So, uh, we've decided to go with our gut and just leave the episodes, um, unchopped, at the two-hour mark. And, uh, we feel that the conversation is good enough and interesting enough to where you guys are going to want to be a part of it. And, uh, we love you and we want you to be here with us, uh, in a community. And, uh, put in your own ideas in the comments. And if there's other stuff that you might want us to talk about, let us know that too, because we're certainly open to the idea of it. And, yeah, and if anybody knows any guests or anything, um, you know, by all means, if, if you have, uh, some interesting folks, you know, we're always open to recommendations. We'd love to chat with people from all different walks of life. Obviously, we chat more about esoteric items and other stuff. But yeah, you know, as a precursor, we're actually going to have, uh, Lauren Fel in the near future. She owns Juicy Tits Vodka, which, you know, is a fun vodka brand and they're gaining some notoriety at this point. And you, I'm sure we'll be talking about entrepreneurship and some other various topics with her. But, you know, by all means, we're just trying to get the truth out there and have some fun conversations that are enjoyable for folks to listen to.

Yeah, absolutely. Uh, this is, this is, uh, our life's work on a certain level, really. So it's really what drives us. It's what we love to talk about. Um, find it very interesting. And, uh, build, help us to build this community because it's for everybody. It's not just for Dave and I, right? So it's, it's for everybody who loves this kind of stuff, everybody who wants to be a part of it. Um, you know, we're, we're hopefully going to start a Patreon page. We had some issues getting on Patreon for some restraint reason, or, you know, coffee a day or whatever that other thing is. Um, and, uh, sort of go from that. We're trying to build the capacity to do this all the time and to really make this show as great as it, we feel it could be. And that's just, you know, that's hard to do when, uh, you have to work a full-time job and do all the other things. So ideally, we'd like to move into the, uh, into the capacity to do this full-time. Um, yeah, so, you know, we make no bones about that. We're excited about that possibility. In fact, it will be a reality. This is a show that I think deserves to exist. It's a, it's a show where we give, uh, some pretty awesome insights, information, guests, possibilities, education, and everything else. And, uh, be with us, support us, be a part of this, and, uh, we, we will all benefit from the information that is being presented.

Yeah. Yeah. What he said. Yeah. Exactly. I said. So, uh, without, uh, any further ado, um, we'll look to wrap up today. Is there anything else you want to talk about before we kick off?

No, I think, uh, definitely welcome any feedback. And, you know, hope you enjoyed this quantum entanglement, uh, you know, episode. And like we said, we're probably going to do some kind of educational kind of series with it. Yeah. Do some other presentations. Maybe we'll throw some other people even into the mix with that, you know, and just have discussions with, uh, presentations on them as opposed to just doing straight up chatting all the time. Um, but yeah, we appreciate your support. Definitely like and subscribe. And, yeah, hit that little bell button so you can see all the new stuff that's coming out because there's always new stuff. Check out the shorts and all the rest of it. And, uh, one final thing, we get a lot of comments, especially on the Tim Hogan videos, you know, of, uh, of some very strong opinions, which we love. Like, listen, tell us we're full of crap. That's fine. You don't have to agree with what we're saying. We don't necessarily agree with what we're saying. Uh, we're, we're just putting out the debate because that's what's important. Important having the discussion. That's what creates new ideas, new thoughts, discussions. Nobody ever learned anything from everybody agreeing with everybody, right? So, you know, it's in that debate where new things can happen, new new possibilities rise. So, uh, don't be afraid to enter the debate. Talk about what you want to talk about. And, uh, we're excited. We're excited to, um, chat with you guys. And we will talk to you soon. So until next time, Brothers of the Arcana, I am Alex Alia. I am Dave Fino. God bless. And we'll see you soon.

See you soon. For.
