Every time a new AI update drops, it's the same story. Everybody's screaming that it changes everything, that this is the one, that you're already behind if you're not using it. And what happens is the genuinely useful stuff ends up getting lost in all that noise a lot of times.

So, I want to be upfront with you. I'm not here to hype up ChatGPT Work. I use Claude as my daily driver. It's the tool that I run my entire business on every single day. So, for me to even pay attention to ChatGPT Work, it has to do something that Claude genuinely can't do or is a lot easier to do with ChatGPT Work. And after testing different business use cases, it turns out there are actually a handful of things that fall into that category.

So, in this video, I'm going to walk you through the use cases I found genuinely useful in the new ChatGPT Work update. So, first, what is ChatGPT Work? Well, regular ChatGPT answers your questions, right? You put in a question, it will answer it for you and give you the output. ChatGPT Work on the other hand will do the whole project. It's an agent. You give it a goal. It pulls from your apps that you can connect to and files. It'll make a plan and then goes and does the work step by step. And it'll stick with something for hours if it has to to complete whatever goal that you've given it. It can gather context from your connected apps, your files and browser, develop a plan for you. It can work in the cloud. It can work locally. It'll complete multi-step tasks and then turn your ideas into finished deliverables such as documents, presentations, websites, spreadsheets, reports, analysis really, really easily.

Now, right now, I'm on the ChatGPT desktop app and you can choose between the normal chat and Work right up here. And so, one of the things that I really like about this is that number one, it's very intuitive. Okay? And we'll go through that here in just a minute. The other thing too that you'll notice that I really like because it is so just it's right here easy to access is that you've got two options here to run the chat. So you can run the chat on your computer. So run it locally, local files, or you can run it in the cloud. Now depending on what your specific use cases are, you're going to want to do in the cloud. That's going to be better for you when you want the task to continue remotely in the background. Another reason why you might want to use the in the cloud option is if your context files or source material lives in connected cloud apps for example like Google Workspace for example while the local part on your computer those conversations and files remain tied to the computer where they're created.

But for the first use case I want to take advantage of ChatGPT's superior image generation. Right. What we're going to do is have it research current LinkedIn post best practices. That's the first thing we're going to have it go do. We're going to create a skill out of it. Then we're going to schedule it after we test the skill, of course, and we're going to give it access to a Q&A transcript. Not only that, what I wanted to do is create images that go along with the LinkedIn posts that I have it create based on the best practices. So, I'm going to type in, I want you to research the current best practices for LinkedIn posts that create the most engagement. Make sure that your research brings back only the most up-to-date strategies. It's July. I'm just giving it a uh a time reference. I'm also going to use the GPT-4 model which is their highest model. I'm going to go ahead and click on send prompt. And you can see here that I can create a file or site based on I can tell it what kind of outputs I want. I can also add sources to it right here. So I can say, oh, you know, create a document or a site. We'll get into that coming up in a couple of use cases. And it worked for, as you can see here, 59 seconds. So, we're for a minute and it's giving me a pretty comprehensive report here. Okay, great.

So, the next thing we're going to do here is we're going to test out these best practices here. What I'm going to do is I'm going to give it a transcript of a Q&A call. I wanted to use the best practices that it just researched itself and then create, let's just call it three LinkedIn posts based on these best practices and pulling out whatever it deems uh important from the transcript. I'm going to give you the transcript of a recent Q&A call and hot seat call I had with my AI playbook members and I want you to fully understand the transcript and create three LinkedIn posts. So now I'm going to attach that transcript and click go. And we'll see what this comes up with here. Okay. And after about 10, 15 minutes or so, the LinkedIn posts are created. It took longer because I had it generate images along with it. Right? So, here's post number one. Here is the image that it created along with it. So, I can share this and download it and so forth. Here is post number two. Uh, busy isn't shipped written all out. Again, following all the best practices that we had it research for us. And then here is the image that I created for us in my brand colors. And then number three, make your service harder to leave. So, it's written a nice post here again. uh based on the best practices and here is the this is a little cheesy but I mean the image is is pretty good.

So now what I want to do is I could either turn this into a ChatGPT project or better yet I want to be able to reuse this as a skill whenever I want to create LinkedIn posts. So I'm going to ask ChatGPT to turn this into a skill. I want you to turn everything that we just did for creating LinkedIn post based off of context that I give you and these LinkedIn best practices that you have researched for me into a ChatGPT skill. So, it's creating a skill for me. And as we know, a skill is basically just a a recipe. It's a it's an SOP essentially for how to do something that is repetitive, whether we're doing it every day, every week, every month, what have you. just step-by-step instructions for the AI to follow and we can go back to and use whenever we want. So, we don't have to go through this whole process every single time. And it just finished up creating the skill for me. It's called create LinkedIn post from context. Very original here. And it says it's going to show up in my skills now. So, if I go over to plugins and I click on skills here is my installed skill created by me.

So now what we're going to do is I want to go back to that chat and I want to schedule this to run every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Pacific. Okay. Now I want you to schedule this skill to run every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Pacific. I will provide a context document or transcript when you prompt me for it again every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Pacific. And super easily, it has scheduled it for me on Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Here is the scheduled task. I can go over here to what's scheduled. And I can look at it. Here it is. LinkedIn post source. And it says ask Rick to attach or paste the context document. Blah blah blah. Run this skill. Here is when it is scheduled. And then I can just click on open chat. And I'm right back here to where we created it. Okay.

Okay, for the next use case, we're going to create a really nice daily brief dashboard that contains a daily brief update of my inbox, my Slack channel, Google calendar. It'll also pull in relevant AI news that's customized to me. And it'll also create me an evening reflection that shows me everything that I worked on, thoughts I had during the day, etc. And it's going to pull it all into a really easy-to-read dashboard in a tool called XTiles. By the way, special thanks to XTiles for sponsoring today's video. So, this is the easiest way that I have found to date to create essentially a chief of staff for yourself. So, all I'm telling it to do is I want you to create the following in XTiles. And I pull up XTiles by simply doing the @ symbol and then it's one of the apps that I have added to the ChatGPT workspace which is in the plugins right here. So I can just go down here and I can click on connect plugins and then browse all plugins and XTiles is right there. So I'm asking it to create a daily brief, a workflow of today's news which I can customize and then I'm asking it to create my evening reflection. So then I can click on go. And now here we are in XTiles. So this is on my day page in my planner. And so I have my schedule right here. That's not part of what I just pulled in, but I just added that as a uh space on my day planner. So, the priorities for the day. Also, this is part of the daily brief. So, it has looked at my emails, told me what needs action for awareness, what the noise is, any kind of action items that I have in here. This is the today's news. Also gives me the topics that are pulling in from my Slack, for example, a calendar overview. Gives me all the results that I was able to accomplish today, tells me what the opportunities are, promises and follow-ups, and then what I have to do for tomorrow. And this is actually really good because I forgot about this. And so I can easily turn this into a uh task now. I can just say, "Oh, I want to do it tomorrow at, you know, whatever." Uh, say the 21st at 10:00 a.m. And so now it's a task for tomorrow. So, when I go to my day page tomorrow, it will show up in my tasks.

Now, I'm over on the XTiles page right here, and it shows all the different things that you can do with it. The daily brief, the evening reflection, it'll an email assistant, a weekly review, uh, today's news. It'll triage your tasks really, really quickly in literally one half a sentence, and it makes it really, really easy. So XTiles is a really cool app that allows you to organize, plan, and execute everything with a very flexible and innovative digital workspace. They really cater especially to people with ADHD. Raising my hand here, I'm diagnosed with ADHD. And you can see here they have ton of templates and everything like that. What I love about this workspace is that it's so flexible that I can essentially build anything I want visually, which I'm a visual person, and I get to create dashboards for all my projects and my entire business, etc. And it just really makes it really, really easy for the way that my brain works. So, if you want to check out XTiles, how easily it connects to both ChatGPT Work and Claude, by the way, I'll link to it to check out for free in the description below.

Okay, for this next use case, I'm going to take advantage again of ChatGPT's image generation capabilities. And one thing I found that ChatGPT Work is really good at is redesigning landing pages and also building websites, which is a brand new uh feature that they just recently rolled out. We're going to talk about that in the next use case. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to give it a link to my landing page for my AI builder boot camp cohort and I'm going to ask it to redesign that page for stronger conversions. And so that's all I'm going to give it. I'm going to say here's the URL. I am going to bump up the effort a little bit to high. And I'm going to click on go. Okay. In about seven minutes, it's given me three different options to choose from. And it's also telling me which one it recommends. So let's take a look at option number one, outcome, first editorial. And it's saying this one is recommended. So let's click on this. I kind of like it. It's pretty busy, which I don't love. So we'd probably simplify that. But let's take a look at the second one here. This is a proofled premium cohort. Again, I think it's pretty busy, but I actually like the top better. And then I want to look at the transformation workflow. So, look at this option here. And I kind of like this better. It still looks a little gimmicky, if you will. So, I would just clean this up. But I really like the three options that it has given me. So, it says which direction should I use to for the complete page? We can also combine option one with option three. So, that's what I want to do. So yes, I want to combine option one editorial design with option three's simpler workflow diagram. Make sure that this is a professional-looking page. Okay.

And after about 12, 13 minutes or so, it has given us the combination of options one and three I think it was for our AI builder boot camp website uh or landing page. So I can view the page right here. It's a lot cleaner. Uh, you can see here it's kind of a weird where this like hanging blue underline here. So obviously we'd want to clean some of this up here and make it look make some changes to it. I don't I don't dislike this. But what I love about this is that it built this in a matter of less than 15 minutes and now I have something to work with. I can share this. I can open this in a new tab and check out the functionality. So, if I want to click on join the waitlist, it goes to the waitlist right here for based on what I gave it. I'm really impressed on what it created for me in less than 15 minutes.

Use case number four. This is really cool and this is brand new based on when I'm recording this, July 20th in 2026 here. So, ChatGPT has rolled out Sites and so we're going to take advantage of the new Sites capability where I can build and host a website right inside of ChatGPT. And so, you'll see it up in the left-hand corner here under Sites and you just click on create and it'll say it'll reference Sites create a website that and what I wanted to do is I want to create a website for my AI playbook community and here's my full really in-depth prompt here. Uh, so I'm referencing Sites, create a website about my playbook membership. Here's a link to my existing sales page. I'm just giving it the link to my about page for the school community. Okay. And here is the rebuilt sales page that ChatGPT made for me here based on my AI playbook. So this is my existing sales page for my school community. This is the about page for the school community. And then this is the new sales page that it created. So, all I gave it was the URL of the sales page of the school about page and then I asked it to create me a new sales page. It already knows my brand colors and it just took all that information and built this sales page and it's completely functional. So, if I click on the CTA button, it takes me over while I'm logged in because it's my community, but it would take me to the about page directly.

Okay, for use case number five, we are going to have ChatGPT Work research a topic on Reddit and then have it create me a visual representation of the research findings. So, here's the prompt I'm going to use. What are people saying recently on Reddit about ChatGPT Work and how easy it is to use? And then I'm saying, give me a polished visual research report with your findings with these different things here. I'm going to use the GPT-4 model, medium effort. I'm going to use the cloud version because I'm going out to a uh website. I could do it locally as well. So I'm going to click on send. Okay. And here is the result of our Reddit research. Remember we asked it for a visual representation. So because of the new ChatGPT Sites, it created a basically a website for us on all of that research for us. So, is ChatGPT Work easy to use? Gives a a score 6.5 out of 10. Uh, I think it's a lot easier to use than that. And it goes through and just shares all the information in a very visual way. It's actually one page, but it hyperlinks to the different areas the website. So, sources, here are all the sources that it went through, opportunities, takeaways, etc. This is really, really cool. And again, very simple to request this. It was like a one-line prompt.

All right, for use case number six, really, really cool uh use here of ChatGPT Work. And again, we're going to use XTiles like we did before. This is something I haven't seen in any of the AI tools. Okay. So, first of all, if you've not yet watched my information hierarchy video, which I'll link to right here, which is your set of folders that you can point any AI at, and it knows your business, it knows your offers, it knows your writing style, your tone of voice, your customer profile, etc., etc., etc. And so let's just say that you've got a folder in your information hierarchy about whatever ideas for your website or a new offer, okay? And you are talking within ChatGPT about your website ideas. And so you keep chatting with ChatGPT about your website ideas and you keep coming up with new concepts and ideas and what have you, right? You keep adding files to your information hierarchy. [snorts] Well, let's say that you wanted to arrange your chat information, all the information that's in your information hierarchy in a visual format so that you can look at it all in front of you. So remember from an earlier use case here, we did the LinkedIn research and so forth. So now what I'm going to do is I'm going to say turn my LinkedIn post best practices chats into XTiles. So, I'll send that prompt. And what it's going to do is ChatGPT Work is going to go back and look at that chat and parse through it and build me a brand new board inside of XTiles with all of that information organized beautifully. Okay. And it's just finished up and it's created my a new board here for me inside of XTiles. So, here is the executive takeaway, how to use this playbook, core principles, and it's created me all these great tabs here. Here I can go in and make uh adjust it with colors and so forth post creation. So high engagement like it's all laid out here with literally a four-sentence or four-word request in the ChatGPT Work. And then lastly in addition to having it in XTiles I also again I want that in my information hierarchy. So I can ask ChatGPT Work to create it into a markdown file for me. now turn this into a markdown file that I can add to my marketing project on my computer. And now it's created that markdown file for me which I can add. I can download this right into my file system again into my information hierarchy.

Okay. And for use case number seven, we are going to use the pre-made build and automation for my weekly AI newsletter workflow. Now, that's customized to me. And so, whatever ChatGPT knows about you and your business, it'll customize that uh pre-made prompt, if you will, to you and your business. So, what we're going to do here is again, we're in ChatGPT Work. We're going to click on get started with ChatGPT Work and we're going to click on build an automation for my weekly AI newsletter workflow. And so, again, it has a pre-prompt already, a pre-prompt template here already done. Does that a repeatable automation that helps produce my weekly AI newsletter by collecting relevant AI news, filtering it, etc. And so it's a I'd build this as a weekly AI newsletter production pipeline with two deliberate approval gates. And so just like that, in a matter of a few seconds, it's given me a visual workflow of the entire newsletter workflow here, which I like. Uh, and then it's breaking it down. Collect the week's candidates. apply Rick's editorial filter and so then a scoring factor. So, it's going to build sub-agents and so forth. So, it just asked me when should it deliver the weekly review for me. And I chose Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. Pacific, which works great because it goes out on Sunday mornings. And again, all I had to do was literally click this link right here, build an automation for my weekly AI newsletter workflow. Gave me a visual representation of the workflow, broke it down by step, and then scheduled it for me in a matter of clicks. that it took less than say 3 minutes.

So there you have it. Seven business use cases that ChatGPT Work has made it really really easy to do. And again if you remember at the at the beginning of this video here I wasn't just going to you know spout out normal use cases that you can do in Claude co-work and that every other app that you can do. What I wanted to show you was the unique capabilities that ChatGPT brings for this type of um environment and business use cases. And so again, am I going to be using ChatGPT Work over something like Claude co-work? Again, let's look over to Claude co-work here. So, personally, I am not a fan of Claude co-work. I do all of my work basically in uh again Claude code inside of VS Code, which if you watch the channel here, you know that I use uh Claude code a lot for pretty much everything. However, I think ChatGPT Work is better at some of the things that I talked about here in this in especially when it comes to when it comes to building the website and now being able to now being able to host it's all in one so much easing your business into an AI powered operating system in a matter of 7 weeks and I want to invite you to join me in my upcoming AI builder boot camp live cohort. We're going to be building and launching a complete AI operating system that takes over your reoccurring sales, marketing, fulfillment, and ops busy work. You're going to get the output, as you see on the page here, the output of a team without hiring one. There are 25 total spots. At the time of recording this video, half are already taken. So, if you want to get in on the next cohort, I'll link to it in the description below. We start August 17th and go for 7 weeks. It's going to be a lot of fun. And by the end, you are going to have a complete AI operating system in your business that is running your sales, marketing, fulfillment, and ops.
