Do you ever feel like you're stuck in a loop? You study grammar, you watch movies, you listen to podcasts, but when it's time to actually speak, your mind goes blank. Maybe you feel shy, or maybe you just don't have anyone to practice with. It's frustrating, right?

Hi, I am Mid and today I'm going to share with you the exact system I use to improve my own speaking skills without a partner. It's not just repeating after native speakers or talk to yourself methods. It's a way to train your brain to think and speak naturally. Just make sure you like the video and hit that subscribe button so we reach more learners. Ready? Let's get started.

Most teachers tell you repeat after a movie or talk to yourself to practice speaking. Look, these methods are great and I'm using them all the time, but they have a big weakness. When you practice shadowing, you aren't creating English. You're just copying. In a real conversation, there is no script. You have to think on your feet. Also, when you talk to yourself without a plan, you usually use the same simple words over and over again. You don't grow. So, if you want to stop translating your head and start speaking smoothly, you need to challenge yourself a bit more. You need the RTC method. Record, transcribe, compare. Here are the exact steps.

Step one, find your inspiration. The first step is to find your material. It could be a story on YouTube, a Tik Tok. The most important thing here is comprehensible input. Choose something you understand at least 90% of. When you watch a full story or a podcast, your brain gets sogged in the language. You hear how words connect and how the story flows. This makes it so much easier to talk about it later because you already have the ideas in your head. Here's a list of my favorite YouTube channels for this. Take a screenshot.

Step two, active listening. Relax and absorb. Watch or listen to your chosen video one time. But here's the golden rule. Put your pen down. Don't try to write every word. Just listen. Try to understand the big idea. You're allowed to look up a few words, maximum three to five words, just if they are stopping you from understanding the whole meaning. But remember, our goal today isn't just learning new vocabulary. That will happen as a side effect. Our real goal today is to understand the story so well that you can retell it in your own words. Ask yourself what happened first. What was the main point? How did the story end?

>> Until I realized I was focusing on the wrong things and I was getting the wrong outcome. >>

Step three, the magic moment. Now we get to the part where most people get nervous. Pick up your phone, open your voice recorder, and hit that red button. Talk for a minute or two. Imagine I am sitting in front of you and you are telling me what you watched. Wait, I know what you're thinking. My English is terrible. I'll make so many mistakes. Trust me, that is the whole point. Don't write script. Don't prepare. Just speak. You're allowed to make mistakes. Nobody's judging. And if you forget a word, don't stop. Try to explain it using other words. If you forget the word refrigerator, say that cold box in the kitchen. That is exactly what you need to do in a real life conversation. This is where you actually learn how to think in English. In this video, Leila Mosi is talking about how to achieve your goals. And the main idea is simple. Stop focusing on the results and start focusing on the actions.

Step four, turn speech into text. Once you have your recording, you need to see what you actually said. Transcribe it. You don't need to type it manually. That takes too long. Use technology. Use Google Docs. It's free and easy. Open a new document. Click tools, then voice typing. Now play your recording near the microphone. Google will listen to your recording and write down everything you said. Now, for the first time, you can actually see your English on the screen. It's time for the detective work.

Step five, be the detective using AI. In step five, you compare and find your mistakes. Here's how it works. Take the text from Google Docs and give it to an AI model like Chad GPT or Gemini. Ask the AI to look for three specific things. One, grammar. Did you forget the S on he goes and you said he go? Two, pronunciation. And this is a big one. If the computer wrote a totally different word than what you said, it means that your pronunciation wasn't clear. If you said think, but it wrote think, then you know what to practice. The th sound. Three. Repetition. Did you say and then 20 times? Do you use the word very in each sentence? The AI would suggest better and more natural words for you to use. Here is the exact prompt I use for this.

Step six, the level up. This is where you actually improve. Take the feedback from AI. Look at the mistakes you found and record yourself talking about the same video one more time. Fix the grammar mistakes. Use those new better words. Try to speak a little bit more clearly. If you listen to your first recording and then your second one, you will be shocked. I promise you, you will hear a massive difference in just 10 minutes. It's like magic.

To see real results, you need a routine. Try to do this for just 15 minutes every day and start today. I made it super easy for you. I created a free RTC method guide. It includes my channel recommendations and the exact AI prompt I used, so you can just copy and paste it. Click the link in the top comment or in the description to grab it for free.

And here's a final bonus tip. Save your recordings. 1 month from now, go back and listen to the recording you made today. You will realize how much faster and more confident you will become. It's the best feeling in the world.

Don't just watch this video and close it. Go find a video you like right now and finish step one and step two. Then come back here and comment, I started. I'd be so happy if I saw your comment that you started today. And please don't waste 2026. On this video, I have prepared a complete step-by-step plan for you to go from beginner to flowing this year. It's on the screen right now.
