Hello and welcome everyone. This is your astrology forecast for the full moon in Scorpio that is happening on the 1st of May. And this is the very first day of the month. So the opening of the month begins with a very intense energy with the full moon in Scorpio. And this is the first of two full moons that we have in May. And the second full moon is happening at the very end of the month on the 31st. So we have the beginning and the end of May with two full moons. So it's something that is opening and closing something.
And this is the eighth sign in the zodiac. You know, it's intense energy. And we are invited to enter into deeper waters now because Scorpio is not a sign that explains itself easily. It doesn't open through logic. It opens through pressure and transformation. So, you know, through the moment when something inside can no longer remain hidden. And full moons are anyway moments when something that has been hidden or neglected or avoided or suppressed is coming to light and it's time when something is being revealed or we are asked to release something or we are experiencing some kind of fulfillment and fruition something we've been working on. And since this is Scorpio, it's intense. It's transformative and rebirthing. And it's an initiatory moment, really. And, you know, it feels like we are revealing or breaking a code. And this is we are entering the chamber where transformation becomes inevitable. And this brings us into contact with what we have avoided. As I said, what we have suppressed, what we have buried so deeply that we begin to believe it no longer exists. So we may be surprised by what we see now, by what comes up, because this could be something we thought we are done with. We may think we may be confronted with something that we thought it has been processed. But Scorpio never forgets.
And in ancient astrology, Scorpio was not simply associated with transformation in that abstract sense. It was associated with processes that cannot be reversed. And, you know, the alchemists spoke of it as the stage of putrefactio. And this is the necessary decay through which matter loses its old form. And this happens in order to be transformed into something else. So this is not destruction for its own sake, for the sake of destruction. No, no, no. This is decomposition as a gateway. So something must break down so that something more essential can emerge. And, you know, this is very well known. But we now go through that experience. We have that experience of it. Now, the shell must crack for the egg to be birthed, right? For the egg must crack so that new life can come.
And this full moon is happening at the 11th degree of Scorpio and it stands directly opposite the sun in Taurus. So this is the 11th degree and it's double numbers. So it's very whenever we have double numbers, there this energy is even more mystical and magical and more intense. So this is double initiation. So we are definitely initiated into something. And Taurus holds form and Scorpio dissolves it. And Taurus says preserve, maintain, sustain, stabilize. And Scorpio says expose, penetrate, transform, be destroyed. And between them lies this axis of life and death. And this is not necessarily literal death, of course, but the death of attachment to what is no longer alive. And we may see during this time, this full moon is about to reveal, is going to reveal to us, you know, what are we attached to that is no longer alive. And we are going to see what is not alive anymore. This can be anything, and depending on where this full moon falls into your chart. But we are all going to feel this intense energy and transformation.
So, you know, this full moon is not alone in this game. There are other planetary impacts and it is under tension from Pluto. And Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio. So we have a very strong Scorpio presence and Scorpio is being triggered and awakened now. So Pluto in Aquarius, this is forming a square. And squares are known as pressure points and trigger points and moments when crisis can happen, when we may feel challenged and tested in many ways. But this is a great time for breaking free from something. This is why squares are very constructive. Without squares, we would never grow. We would never change. And change is unavoidable, especially now with Scorpio with Pluto, its ruler there and a square happening between them. It's really like a setup, like a chessmate and checkmate. And, you know, this is where the pressure intensifies because Pluto reveals it all. And in Aquarius, Pluto is already working through collective systems, through networks, you know, the structures, ideologies, communities, the invisible architectures that shape how we think and relate. And when it squares a Scorpio full moon, this pressure becomes personal. And, you know, what is collective becomes intimate. And what is structural becomes psychological. And we may find ourselves confronting not only our own emotions but the deeper patterns behind them. You know, we are not confronting only our relationships but those hidden dynamics within them. And, you know, this is not also so much about desires and passion, but those forces that are shaped by those desires and passions. So this is not surface-level energy at all. This is very deep, very profound, very transformative, and it can be uncomfortable.
And, you know, what makes this moment even more striking is the presence of five planets in Aries. And we have strong fire and water here. So this is initiation and depth, beginning and ending. And Aries wants to move forward, while Scorpio wants to go deeper. And people may feel a paradox within themselves. We all may feel this desire to act, to decide, and to initiate and to just move ahead, or to just sit with ourselves and experience transformation. And, you know, at the same time, there's a pull inward. You know, this need to move and act, and move and need to move inward, to understand something unresolved, something that requires us to understand before we act, before we take action. So Mercury and Chiron are together in Aries at the 27th degree of Aries during the very time of this full moon, on the same day. They are at the same degree. So these are late degrees of Aries. And Mercury, planet of communication and connections, together with Chiron, the wounded healer in Aries. So this can be very direct communication that brings healing. And, you know, these words may carry wounds. And they add this conjunction adds another layer to this energy. You know, thoughts may return to their origins. Conversations may reveal more than intended. So there is something about this moment that doesn't allow superficial communication. What is said now will carry great weight. And what is not said may become even more important and louder. So let's be careful about what we say and what we don't say, because the pressure may be stronger on what is not being said.
And this archetype of Scorpio is, you know, it's often reduced to intensity, passion, sexuality, and power. But these are only expressions, not the essence of the sign. So at its core, Scorpio is the sign that governs what happens when life meets its own depth. And it is the place where desires become obsessions, and attachments become control, and fear becomes secrecy. So it's also a place where truth becomes unavoidable, and where illusions dissolve, where transformation has to happen, and where we turn lead into gold, where we turn our fears into our strengths, where we experience our death, death of who we thought we are, and we experience our rebirth. So the shadow is being revealed. You know, Scorpio rules the shadow, and it has a lot of fire that is necessary to experience that purging flame where we can rise and be reborn again, like a phoenix from the ashes. And this is where the shadow becomes visible as experience. You know, this is why Scorpio energy can feel uncomfortable because it doesn't allow us to remain only who we think we are. You know, it confronts us with those hidden corners of our unconscious realms.
And there's a really good story, a Zen story about the master and the student and suffering. So this story really greatly resembles this full moon. And Zen stories are a bit different. They don't give really a very logical explanation, but they are intuitively logical. So we are now listening it with our intuition now. So a student came to a master and said, "I want to be free from suffering." And the master handed him a small wooden box and it was locked. So he said, "Carry this with you at all times, but don't open it." And the student obeyed. You know, days passed, then weeks. The box became heavy, not physically, but psychologically, you know, because the student began thinking about it constantly. He became obsessed with this locked box that he mustn't unlock. And he began to think about it constantly. So, you know, what's inside? Why must I not open it? You know, what is hiding? Why is he hiding from me? And the more he resisted, the stronger the urge became. And eventually, unable to bear it, he returned to the master and he said, "I cannot do this anymore. I need to know what is inside." And the master looked at him and said, "Then open it." And the student did. And there was nothing inside the box. And the master said, "This is your suffering." So this is Scorpio. This is this full moon. The locked box is not empty in the beginning. It becomes empty when we open it. You know, but until we do, it holds all our projections, our fears, our desires, our obsessions, our imaginations. It holds everything inside. So this full moon may reveal our box, you know, the thing we avoid looking at, the thing we are most afraid of. And we will be able to talk about it, you know, to reveal our wound and our trauma. So we have drama, karma, and trauma. These three, the holy trinity of this full moon, really. Drama, karma, and trauma. And we are in relationship with these things. We are in a very, very close relationship with all three. So we definitely experience trauma that is strongly related to our character, to what our being really wants to experience. So someone will be experiencing through loss, someone through betrayal, someone through humiliation, someone through weight problems, someone through divorce of parents, someone through heartbreak, you know, everyone chooses trauma. That is the biggest wound, and that is actually a way, a path to ourselves. You know, because this is what separated us from our essence, but this is the same path that brings us back to ourselves. But this doesn't mean that we have to repeat our trauma. On the contrary, we repeat it all the time because trauma has a tendency to be repeated unconsciously. So we experience something over and over again, the same feeling. It doesn't have to be the same experience, but the same feeling is being produced. So the point is to remember when it's happening, to remember to catch, to hunt these feelings, and to recognize it and to acknowledge it, and to choose to do things differently this time, because we react always the same to those feelings, to those triggers, to those traumas that are being repeated. We react in the same way. So now the point is to consciously observe them and to choose to do things differently. And, you know, this is the emotion that we don't want to feel, the truth that we suspect but don't confirm. And the longer this remains closed, this box, the more power it seems to have over us. And this is a pressure and release point. Scorpio teaches something that is not comfortable, but is deeply true. And, you know, there is no release without pressure. Transformation doesn't happen through comfort. It happens when something becomes too intense to remain the same.
And this full moon may bring emotional confrontations, really big emotional charges, realizations about trust and control, and exposure of what has been hidden, revelation of certain secrets, maybe in intimate relationships or in business partnerships or with anyone. You know, if it's in the fourth house, it can be revelation of family secrets. If it's in the seventh, revelation, marriage, or fulfillment, or a completion and ending of something. It all depends where it is and which area of your life is being activated. But these are the key things, you know, confrontations with our emotions, with our hidden feelings, with what we are ashamed of and afraid of, you know, deep introspection about fears and detachments. This is not to destabilize us, but it's actually here to move something, to give something a go, something that has been stagnant. So, you know, stagnation in Scorpio terms and in astrological terms is actually more dangerous than change.
And the shadow of explanation is also very strong, and it can go on many levels. You know, where there is depth, there is also distortion. So under this full moon, shadow may include jealousy, excessive jealousy, possessiveness, emotional manipulations, emotional blackmails, obsessions, fear of loss, you know, desire to control outcomes, desire to control someone else. And, you know, these are not random. They are like a response to vulnerability. So when something matters deeply, the fear of losing it grows bigger. Of course, you know, when something really matters to us and the fear of losing that is very expensive and very big. So then, you know, when that fear is not acknowledged, it becomes control, full control. And this is where awareness is essential to see not only what we feel, but why we feel it.
And ancient astrologers didn't speak about Scorpio lightly. You know, they associated it with processes that require endurance, silence, and courage. Not the visible courage of Aries, but the invisible courage of facing oneself. And, you know, this is the moment where we understand and deeply realize that the unseen realm governs the scene. So, Scorpio governs what is hidden. And during this full moon, the hidden begins to influence the visible much more strongly. And if we are aware of it, we can gain that real inner power. But if we are not, it can move us unconsciously into mechanical reactions, into same repetitive patterns and situations. Because maybe we have high expectations, or maybe we want to be seen, but at the same time afraid of being seen. So, you know, this full moon asks us to not act immediately and not to run into resolving anything, but to look deeper and notice what triggers us, what we avoid, what we cannot let go of, and what we fear, what we are afraid of losing. Because in these answers, in these places that are being unlocked, is the place of big transformation. And Scorpio doesn't destroy for the sake of destruction. It transforms for the sake of truth. And when we see it once, it cannot be unseen. So this is where what is being hidden begins to speak, either verbally or through synchronicities or through many different kinds of messages, through books, through music we hear, through sentences on cars that we see, or numbers, you know, many ways to receive these messages. And, you know, this is the time when whatever we've been afraid of that other will reveal about us, that other, that anyone, you know, the fear of someone finding out something about us, it will be revealed now, one way or another. So we better be ready for facing ourselves fully without any reason to be afraid of. Like, what's the worst thing that can happen, really? The worst thing is to be unconscious. You know, the worst thing that can happen is never death, really. It's not death. It's living this life unconsciously. It's being totally unaware of everything that is happening to us, of where we are and why we are where we are. So this is why this Scorpio full moon, it's linked with death. And this death may be not literal death, but transformation. A very, very powerful time for us. And if we truly want something to be transformed, now is the time.
And when something transforms, it doesn't return to its previous state. You know, it may look similar, but it may carry a familiar form, but it is not the same. And this is why Scorpio is linked with death, not only physical death, but death of illusions that we depended on, or identities that we outgrew, or attachments we mistook for truth. And in psychological terms, this is the moment when the ego loses control over the narrative it has been maintaining. You know, this is where the ego loses control over this narrative that it has been putting on us. And this is a confrontation with the unconscious. Not, this is not something abstract. This is a lived experience in which what has been repressed begins to influence perception. It begins to influence our emotion and behavior. And this is not a comfortable process, but it is a necessary one.
And what transformation really means, transformation is often misunderstood as improvement, you know, as becoming better, stronger, more evolved. And Scorpio doesn't operate through improvement. Sixth house in Virgo is improvement, but Scorpio, it's disintegration and reformation and regeneration. You know, something must lose its structure, something must stop holding, something must collapse, and only then can something new emerge that is not built on the same foundation. So this is why transformation cannot be forced. It happens when the pressure becomes greater than the structure can bear. So this full moon does bring pressure, as I said, and this may not be necessarily through external events, although those may occur, but through internal intensity that demands attention. And we may find ourselves unable to ignore something we previously tolerated, unable to maintain a dynamic that once felt acceptable. And we may not be in a position to continue a pattern that has revealed itself.
And not everyone will experience this full moon in the same way, of course, but certain patterns are about to emerge now. And there may be moments of realization that come out of nowhere, without gradual buildup, without announcement. And, you know, a person may understand something about a relationship that changes their entire perception of it. There may be situations where control becomes an issue, you know, where someone attempts to hold on more tightly, where another pulls away in order to save autonomy. There may also be a desire for truth and something more fundamental than just a superficial level of truth. And it's very important to know that not everything that arises now needs some kind of action and conclusion. So Scorpio can intensify our perception. But intensity is not always accurate. So let's avoid making irreversible decisions in moments of emotional tension and peak. Let's avoid interpreting everything through suspicion. Let's avoid assuming that what we feel must be true. Because, you know, this full moon asks for awareness first, and action comes later.
And intimacy, the subject of intimacy, is strongly activated now too. Scorpio rules intimacy, but not in the way it is often described. Intimacy is not closeness alone. It's the willingness to be seen without distortion. It's the ability to allow another person to perceive us without adjusting our truth. This is very important. Can we allow another person to perceive us without adjusting our truth? Because we are always adjusting our truth. And, you know, we are learning to perceive others without projecting and protecting our fears. Because this is where we get in that moment of clash and mistrust and betrayal. You know, because we are projecting and then protecting our fears. And it's very rare to get in touch with another in this way, because most connections are built on partial visibility. And under this full moon, we may see more of others and more of ourselves. And this can deepen connections, or it can reveal that the connection was built on something that is incomplete. And let's remember that neither of these outcomes is a failure. You know, they are both forms of truth.
And in yogic tradition, associated with Patanjali, who wrote the Yoga Sutras, there is a teaching that doesn't come as a narrative but as a principle. And it is said that the mind stores impressions, samskaras. So-called samskaras. This is not the same as samsara. Samskaras are impressions that are imprinted into our mind, and from past experiences, these are all our experiences that we carry. And these impressions do not disappear. They remain latent until the right conditions bring them to the surface. You know, when certain circumstances align, boom. This is where this samskara boom gets activated. So it's something much older than we are. Our reactions are programs that are much older than us. And so a student once asked how to become free from these impressions. And the teacher didn't give a complex answer. He said, "Don't try to remove them. Just see them clearly." And, you know, this is Scorpio. This full moon creates these conditions. This full moon will create these conditions where certain samskaras will be revealed to us. These impressions that are not deleted from who knows when and from who. So something rises now, an old emotion, a pattern, a reaction. And instead of suppressing it or acting it out blindly, we are given the opportunity to observe it consciously. And this is where transformation begins. Not in changing the experience. We are not supposed to change the experience, but changing our relationship to it. And, you know, this full moon opens a place where we can confront what cannot be avoided. So it's important because modern interpretations often soften Scorpio into something poetic. But the ancients understood that some experiences are not meant to be softened. They are meant to be faced. You know, we cannot soften everything. We started softening everything. Everything became so soft that we don't have any feeling of connection. And we have the sun in Taurus during this time. So touch is very important, and the ability to feel things, really, not to soften them. And Scorpio doesn't promise comfort. It offers something really profound and priceless. It offers depth of understanding. And this is the kind of understanding that changes how we relate to everything: to ourselves, to others, to our past, and our desires.
So we are reaching now the area of betrayal, alchemy, and transformation of the soul. So this is, you know, there is a particular kind of pain that Scorpio knows intimately, and this is the pain of betrayal. This is the deepest pain that Scorpio goes through. It's not loss. It's not pain. It's betrayal. And betrayal is not simply when someone harms us. It's when something we trusted reveals another face. And it's very painful. And what makes betrayal so powerful is not really what the other person did or didn't do or said or didn't say, but, you know, it's what crashes inside us when this happens. What collapses within us when this happens. This is when trust disappears, it's broken, our perception breaks, it fractures, and our version of reality, the one we built on emotional trust, becomes unstable. So we are able now to see through this experience, if it happens, of course. It may happen through something completely different on a lesser degree, but we will be faced with something like this. And we are going to see how much of our sense of safety was placed outside of ourselves. This is what happens when we lose trust in ourselves, when we betray ourselves. Really, there is no other betrayal but self-betrayal, really. And this is why Scorpio treats betrayal as an initiation. So because betrayal forces a descent, it pushes us underground. And, you know, not into despair, although it may feel like that at first, but into truth. And in many traditions, the path of transformation begins with a rupture. So in the Christian mystical tradition, Judas is often misunderstood as the betrayer. But in deeper esoteric readings, his role becomes much more complex. And without betrayal, there is no crucifixion. Without crucifixion, no resurrection. And the pattern here is not moralistic. It's about the initiation, the much deeper story than we're being told.
So in alchemy, this stage has a name, and it's called nigredo, the blackening, the moment when the material loses its previous form and enters a state of darkness, confusion, dissolution. And nothing looks meaningful in this stage. Nothing looks meaningful. I'm sure we've all been through this stage, but we didn't know that this was this kind of process, of alchemical process. But we go through it unconsciously. So this is a time when we have an opportunity to go through this nigredo stage consciously. You know, nothing makes sense. Nothing seems meaningful. Things that meant the most to us, they don't mean anything to us anymore. Nothing appears to be progressing. And yet, this is where the work truly begins. Because only when something is broken down, it can be reformed differently, reborn. This is Scorpio. Not transformation as some improvement, but transformation as true metamorphosis. You know, a caterpillar doesn't become a butterfly by refining itself. It dissolves completely inside the chrysalis. The body is smashed completely. It disintegrates, and from that dissolution, something entirely new emerges. And, you know, human transformation is not as visible as that one, but it follows a very similar pattern.
And, you know, there is one word that is very good for this: metanoia. Metanoia. This is a Greek word, and maybe we can go to some roots of its meaning if we go into exploring this word. And I advise you all to explore it and to feel it within you. And it means a change of mind that is so profound that it changes completely the whole perception. I don't know why I am missing the right words to describe this. But that's why I said, let's all explore this word more deeply. So it's irreversible change, just like the one I spoke about. And, you know, that is why Scorpio transformation is irreversible. Once metanoia occurs, we don't return to who we were. We may return to the same place, to the same house, to the same people, same circumstances, but we are not the same within them. And this is where union becomes possible in a new way. Because true union is not about losing ourselves into another. It's not fusion. It's meeting the other from the place that has already been through transformation. And after transformation, we enter union from wholeness. And this changes everything. And this is where possessiveness softens, because nothing essential can be taken away from us, because now we know.
But again, I say, if we find ourselves stuck in these moments, in these experiences where we are obsessed or possessive, or we experience this from another person, or if we feel like nothing is meaningful, this is initiation. This is the time to acknowledge what is happening, to recognize the stage in alchemy that is happening within our body. We are turning lead into gold. And, you know, this is where jealousy loosens, because we are no longer measuring our worth through comparison. This is where we can let go of control, because, you know, Scorpio is here to uproot everything that is false. And we may really see now what this truly means. And power and control play a big, big role now. And Scorpio always brings the question of power, especially our emotional power. You know, who influences who, who withdraws to maintain control, who speaks and who remains silent, who gives and who holds back. These dynamics may not always be obvious, but under this full moon, they become more visible.
And there's a great quote from the philosopher Simone Weil. I think I recently found out about this philosopher. And the quote is: "Imaginary evil is romantic. Real evil is gloomy, monotonous, and boring." So imaginary evil is romantic. And this is something that we will understand what it means during this full moon. And in relationships, real distortion is rarely dramatic. It is repetitive. It is subtle. It's structural, you know. And this is what Scorpio reveals. So let's pay attention to what intensifies, what repeats, you know, what we cannot easily let go of, because these are not random experiences. They are entry points into deeper understanding. And we cannot ignore it anymore. We cannot.
And there are a couple of great quotes that I want to mention for this and to end this forecast with. And they are from a Buddhist teacher. I forgot his name. If I remember, I will add it later in the description of the video. But he was a cousin of Rilke. Rilke also from Buddhistic teachings, but they are not really, you know, I don't like these labels. They themselves didn't call themselves that way. But so the quote is: "Hold the sadness and pain of samsara in your heart, and at the same time, the power and vision of the great eastern sun. Then the warrior can make a proper cup of tea." I think this quote is perfectly aligned with Scorpio energy and strong Aries activation, but at the same time, Taurus sun. So hold the sadness and pain of samsara in your heart, and at the same time, hold the power and vision of the great eastern sun. Then the warrior can make a proper cup of tea. So the great eastern sun is the star within us that needs to be born, the light within us. And we shouldn't forget the suffering that is happening. So we are supposed to be true warriors, not the ones who fall into the trap of sadness and pain of samsara, of what is in this illusionary dream that we forgot we are dreaming. So not to forget to hold this sadness and pain of samsara in our hearts, and at the same time, the power and vision of the great eastern sun. Then the warrior can make a proper cup of tea.
And there is another: "The bad news is you're falling through the air. Nothing to hang on to, no parachute. And the good news is there is no ground. So either way, nothing can happen really to you." You know, we are falling through the air. Nothing to hang on to. There is nothing that can save us. But the good news is that there is no ground at all. So this is that kind of lunation. And another one I really love them because they are very strong, very powerful, and they unlock some new insights. "A great deal of the chaos in the world occurs because people don't appreciate themselves." And I think this one is the best, and it needs to be understood deeply. So really, this is something that we have to understand, you know, because I don't think that people understand how much they don't appreciate themselves. Arrogance is not self-appreciation. Selfishness is not self-appreciation. It's something completely else. You know, just like I said, the first quote, to hold the sadness and pain of samsara in our hearts, and at the same time, to hold the power of the vision of the great eastern sun.
And there is one another. It's not a quote. I don't know. I read it somewhere. Someone wrote it. I don't know who. And it says that "Outgrowing self-abandonment is about us needing having to liberate ourselves from the addiction to wanting to be seen as good." So in order to outgrow our self-abandonment, we must liberate ourselves from the addiction to being seen as good. And I think this is more than enough material to contemplate with, to meditate with, and to see what it does to us and to apply it in our real-life scenarios, in our inner world, in our mental and emotional processes.
And with this, I would end this forecast. And I wish us all a very transformative, metamorphic full moon in Scorpio. One that really brings us to that warrior who can make a great cup of tea, who can hold the sadness and pain of samsara in our hearts, and at the same time, the great eastern sun. I love you all and see you in two weeks. Bye-bye.
