Tuesday Card: Four of Pentacles

Hey everybody, it's Anna. Time for the Tuesday card and this week's tarot story. So today we have the Four of Pentacles. Pentacles are connected to the physical realm. They're about jobs and hobbies, money, as well as physical wellness and vitality. And the number four is about feeling anchored or balanced in the world. If you imagine, most stable chairs have four legs, right? That makes them a stable chair. So that's the idea behind the four.

So when this card shows up, it invites us to find stability inside of our physical well-being, our physical world. The image shows a man who's embracing one pentacle. He's got one on his head and two under his feet. So he is definitely, this is considered the card often of being a good steward. He is keeping track of his resources. He's making sure where his money goes, his time, his energy, all the resources that we have as being physical beings on the planet. He's keeping track of them and making sure we spend them wisely so that we have a nice, balanced, anchoring sort of energetic pattern in the physical world.

Now, the reason this card's showing up today, I think, is because yesterday's card was the Nine of Swords. And we talked about how the Nine of Swords indicates the moment just before the mind is about to complete its work. It's been working through releasing an old mindset, an old paradigm. And here, at the very end, just before it crosses the finish line, it has a panicky moment. And that's because it suddenly feels scared for what's coming up next. It's actually moving out of the known into the unknown, which is always scary for the mind. So it has that moment where it suddenly feels like it's in danger.

And I mentioned yesterday about how the mind needs reassurance at this moment. That even though it's scared, it's only scared of the unknown. There's no actual danger. There's no indicators of of peril in its in its vicinity. It's just scared because it doesn't know what comes next. Um, so this card suggests to me, it's a great check-in for the mind. We want to help the mind realize that it's been purposefully working on this path. It is still on the path. Nothing has changed. It's just that we're getting close to completing the path, and the mind's having a very natural sort of cold feet moment.

So in this card, it suggests like, check in with your energy, right? Check in and see how something changed. Do you suddenly feel exhausted? Do you suddenly, are you suddenly running out of energy? Are you running out of money? Are you running out of time? Like, give your ma because the mind does well with observation. When you can show the mind evidence of something, it starts to relax. So look and show your mind the evidence of your balanced energy. You're getting close to releasing something. Very likely, your energy has increased. That's probably been happening through this whole journey. You've got evidence of that. The mind's just having a panic moment, not based on evidence, based on its own projection of what disasters might be coming.

So this is a good card to help the mind look at the world, reassuring the mind. Nothing's going wrong. In fact, there's some indicators things are starting to flow more easily. I'm feeling more energized. Where there's a bit more money coming in, there's more opportunities coming in. Showing the mind that, you know, we're still being responsible. We're still very anchored in the physical world. All as well. So the mind, even though it's scared, we are reassuring the mind. We're doing our due diligence. All as well.

Um, also, what's good about the Pentacles is that it is in the physical world, which is where evidence, real evidence, is collected by the mind. The mind often doesn't collect real evidence. It often chases its own evidence, which is like fanta fantastical, fantastical, or delusional. Like it's imagining what might happen, or it heard a story of what could happen. So those aren't real evidence. That's just random evidence that the mind's kind of manufacturing. But the physical world produces real evidence. Often people will tell me they're worried about finances about something, and I'll ask the question, you know, is it because you're actually running out of money, or you're afraid you're going to run out of money? And a good portion of the time, it's, I'm afraid I'm gonna run out of money. So that's the mind anticipating scarcity where scarcity does not yet exist. So it's good to get your your toes back into the physical world and get the mind to focus on that so that it can pull itself out of this delusional pattern that will cause it to panic. That's our first, our first way of soothing the mind this week. See you tomorrow for our next card. Bye.
