Me, there's a moment in every life, including yours, where the chance appears to leap from ordinary to legendary, from average to epic, from normal to iconic. This time is today. Your window of opportunity has arrived. Your moment is now.
Will you have the grit, guts, and glory to season not only for the benefit of you and all who count on you, but for the entire world that demands that you bring on your A-game? For the rest of us, you're smart, talented, and ambitious. So you get that the unfortunate reality is this: Society often trades in a vicious game, selling us tiny ideas on how small we must play, arguing against our personal right to genius, hypnotizing us into believing a story that says we have no option but to live lives of scarcity, fear, stagnation, and boredom.
Heartbreakingly, most of us, over time, come to believe the lies. We trust the story. We accept the condition of average, scared, unhappy, and limited. And so, too many people who are built for so much more live in a state of poverty of sorts, restricting the size of their visions, placing chains on their capability, resigning themselves to mediocrity, and spending the rest of their potentially brilliant and beautiful lives in various forms of quiet misery. Because the potential you don't express today turns into pain tomorrow. And nothing so shatters a human heart than stifling the gifts you carry within you.
But for a fortunate few, those with the courage and conviction to step out of the path, stray from the herd, and claim the rewards that were theirs from the beginning, average has no place in their lives. This video has been created with great effort and careful devotion for such people. People like you, you who want to rise the ranks of these fortunate few: the leaders and the visionaries, the titans and the legends, the masters and the virtuosos.
This special video is all about the new science of unbeatability. It's about unleashing vast amounts of your dormant potential while spending the rest of your life as a shining model of total possibility. And this very valuable video is about a concept I've been teaching to my clients lately called virtuosity: a series of new insights that have been proven by a wealth of research to make anyone who applies them so exceptional at what they do that we can't take our eyes off you. And a sequence of daily practices that, when consistently repeated, creates a monopoly bore enough mastery so that no one else on the planet can quite do what you become able to do.
So fasten your seat belt, block out all noise, and really give yourself the gift of the time needed to fully focus on this video. Full disclosure: this isn't the shortest training video I've ever made, but it's probably the most valuable one. And by committing to watching to the very end, you'll radically set yourself apart from most of the people in your field. Well-meaning people who suffer from short attention spans, addictions to distractions, and the inability to sit for more than a few moments to learn the insights that would elevate them to extraordinary and the skills that would deliver fortunes of prosperity, excitement, and beauty into their lives.
Watch this video to the end, and you'll get a game-changing advantage over everyone in your field because you're about to learn a series of little-known insights and strategies on world-class performance derived from breakthrough studies that are about to shock you. You're about to discover the most powerful truths on extreme achievement known only to a small number of virtuosos. You're about to gain access to the uncommon private routines of the giants of creativity, ingenuity, productivity, and audacity.
The information you will soon be exposed to has been used by epic performers ranging from Steve Jobs to Walt Disney, Albert Einstein to Elon Musk, Lady Gaga to Henry Ford, and Nicola Tesla to championship athletes and Navy SEAL warriors. The insights of this video will explain the superhuman productivity and skill levels of people like master inventor Thomas Edison, James Bond creator Ian Fleming, and hip-hop star Jay-Z, as well as revered artists like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Salvador Dalí.
Please note: woven throughout this video are three strategies that, if used daily, will create a state of breakthrough confidence, drive, and virtuosity that will make you the icon of your industry and a person who produces results others revere as art. And near the end, you'll be exposed to the single most powerful tactic on the generation of extreme achievement recently discovered by the science of neurobiology and elite human performance.
This video is not for you if you're seeking superficial entertainment, quick-fix prescriptions, and magical thinking advice on how to achieve great things without having to change or do anything. Ideas don't work for people who don't want to do any work. But if you want excellent information and hard-hitting tools that will completely alter the game for you as you apply them, you'll love what you're about to learn. And the moment you start using the ideas, strategies, and rituals offered here, nothing will ever be the same for you. Your life will shift into a completely new direction. Your mindset will be altered irrevocably. And your breakthroughs will astonish, awe, and inspire all blessed enough to witness them.
Okay, before we get into the insights and private routines that the great ones use to receive their exceptional results, please allow me to introduce myself. In case you don't know me, my name is Robin Sharma. My dominant aim is to serve, to be helpful, and to be an instrument of inspiration and mastery for as many people as possible for the time I am privileged to be alive. For 18 years, I've been showing so-called ordinary people how to realize their genius, express their talents, and make the rise into the heroic thinking, epic performance, and exponential results that allow them to lead lives that are legendary. My mission has become my obsession. It's my cause, my calling, and the oxygen that sustains and fuels me.
I started my career as a litigation lawyer for the Justice Department. I then self-published a little book called The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari in a 24-hour coffee shop, and it unexpectedly became an international publishing sensation, as well as a personal mastery classic that led me to write other number one global bestsellers like The Leader Who Had No Title, The Greatness Guide, and Who Will Cry When You Die, which have sold over 12 million copies in 90-plus countries. I've served as an advisor to many Fortune 500 firms, including Nike, Starbucks, GE, Oracle, FedEx, and IBM. And my work has been embraced by NHL, NFL, and NBA superstars, pop stars like Taylor Swift, rock legends like John Bon Jovi, and celebrity entrepreneurs who have used my teachings to create billions of dollars of value for the customers they are blessed to serve. And my strategies for the pursuit of mastery, driving elite productivity, and generating exponential results have gone viral, being shared across the planet with people from every walk of life.
I mention this with a humble heart and only for this purpose: so that you trust that the information you are about to discover has been rigorously researched, battle-tested, and is currently being used worldwide by many of the most successful people on the planet. Much of my work that I'm about to share with you is based on the latest advances in positive psychology, recent research from neurobiology, key advances in the fields of energy management and high performance, and little-known facts learned from studying extreme achievers in the optimal state of flow. And once you start doing the things world-class performers are doing, you'll start experiencing the rewards world-class performers enjoy.
Okay, let's get right into it. Here are the four laws of extreme achievement.
Extreme Achievement Law Number One: World-class performance is the result of a precise process versus a natural gift. We stand in awe of spectacular achievers and the human beings capable of demonstrating dazzling skills. We assume that they were born that way, blessed by the gods of staggeringly exceptional with gifts and abilities the rest of us lack. Neat concept, taught to us by parents, teachers, and societal influences who often schooled us in being reasonable with our expectations, the value of fitting in, and the need to avoid causing an uproar with our dreams. The concept's completely untrue, though. The reality is that great performance is less about being gifted and more the inevitable result of a process, a specific sequence of action steps that those we admire have followed with utter consistency and relentlessness for many years. This extreme achievement formula is the single most important factor in the success enjoyed by the best. No matter what you do, where you live, what your history has been, and your current conditions, start running the formula, and you'll get the explosive results it automatically brings on. The formula works for everyone if they choose to learn it and then apply it. The real key is to start, because much of winning lives in beginning. Every pro was once an amateur, and every master started out as an apprentice.
Here's the real insight I want to share with you with great respect, and it's been confirmed by leading-edge research: genius is less about genetics and more about practice. The best performer isn't the most talented. No, the best performer is the one who practices the most and stays on the path the longest. I recently watched a fantastic documentary called The Good Son. It was about famed boxing champion Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini. One of the ideas that jumped out at me was his admission that his brother was actually physically built to be a better boxer. He was taller and had a longer armspan. But what Boom Boom lacked in natural ability, he made up for with his ridiculous commitment to preparation in the gym, his uncommon levels of hunger to win, and his undefeatable devotion to the maximization of his talent. Self-discipline and a monumental work ethic beat natural ability every time. And so, Boom Boom became champion of the world.
Eminent scientist James Flynn has developed the term "capitalization" to describe the degree to which someone unlocks and then exploits the potential they were born with. Extreme achievers, ranging from violin virtuosos, chess masters, top-performing entrepreneurs, exceptional athletes, to people who construct extraordinary lives, it turns out, are not more talented than the average person. They just capitalize on more of the potential they were born into, and so they win. Warren Buffett made the distinction in this powerful way: "There's a difference between horsepower and output." What he was confirming is really this: it's not the person with the most horsepower who reaches the mountaintop of awesome performance. It's the one who leverages the horsepower they have for the greatest output. And so, it's absolutely essential for us to understand that when we watch the best in action – the Michelangelos and the Messis, the Steve Jobs's and the Musks, the Beethovens and the Box, the Edison and the Einstein and the Zuckerbergs, along with the Beyoncés – we are seeing the result of their years of focus, dedication, practice, and optimization. Yes, we are stunned by their glorious abilities and their unforgettable performances, but we generally forget that what we are witnessing are the results of extreme amounts of training, sacrifice, and focus. Genius is just not some divinely orchestrated gift; it's a daily process and a ton of practice.
Most of us, firstly, are unaware that we have the potential to become exceptional. And secondly, are not willing to put in the time, make the sacrifices, transcend the fears, experience the defeats, and stay with the program long enough to rise to iconic. We only flirt with our greatness, never extending the relationship for an entire lifetime.
One of the most influential thinkers and researchers on high performance is Andrew Ericson. This is the man who first observed that all world-class performers put in roughly 10,000 hours of practice on their chosen skill before they were able to do the things that caused others to call them gifted. Recent authors have made the 10,000-hour rule famous, but the insight originates from Andrew Ericson. And the primary idea for you to bring on your A-game is this one: getting in your 10,000 hours amounts to 2.44 hours of daily practice for 10 years. 10 years of training, 10 years of silently polishing your craft, 10 years of people calling you crazy for the bravery and audacity of your dream, 10 years of being misunderstood, 10 years of getting up early to do great work in the dark, 10 years of feeling uncomfortable and scared and going to the edges of your capability so your capability expands, 10 years of obsessively learning, growing, and refining your skills before you become famous for your performance, 10 years of anonymous.
So it's really not "Can you get to the summit of exceptional and scale the Everest of epic?" It's much more about "Will you apply all of this insight that I've so passionately shared with you on any skill?" And it's pretty much impossible for you not to become the revered master, master of your field, the expert in your universe, best-in-world at your activity of choice. You'll spend those 2.44 hours over the next 10 years on something. Why not spend them on a pursuit that will allow you to become a virtuoso? And may I suggest that spending the rest of your life in hot pursuit of your place in history is a really, really great way to spend the rest of your life? And you deserve no less.
Okay, that brings me to the next valuable principle in this free training video I've made for you.
Extreme Achievement Law Number Two: Your performance always rises or falls to the level of your beliefs. This is a big one. You need to wrap your mind around the ideas I'm about to share if you're truly serious about becoming a world-builder or an industry transformer or the undisputable heavyweight champion of your craft. There is massive power in belief. Leaders in the emerging field of positive psychology teach us that our story about our potential determines whether we capitalize on that potential or leave it dormant. Why? Because if your story and the core beliefs that make it up says that geniuses and legends are naturally gifted and born into their striking talent, then you won't even start to put in the 2.44 hours of practice time for 10 years required for the first signs of exceptional performance to present themselves.
If your internal story seduces you into thinking that you're average, and that you should settle for whatever you have, and that you don't have the capability to become amazing at that you do, as well as build a life you adore, then you won't even begin the process of creating those ideals. You won't invest in the training, coaching, and education needed to grow, develop your skills, and optimize your abilities and then win. You won't continue when you get knocked down, laughed at, or ridiculed. You won't stay true to your vision. You won't stay loyal to your values. You won't remain obsessed with the awesome goals that you made to yourself about what you will achieve, the life you will construct, and the person you will become. What will be the point? The story that you're running is continually reminding you that it's not possible for a person like you to have these things.
That's why one of the inflection points of personal transformation and epic performance is rewriting your story, changing your beliefs, reinventing your self-identity. Remember, your story drives your performance. Rescript that, and you recreate your future. Remember, your behavior always reflects your beliefs. Change them, and you release the beliefs that limit you from explosive success. And remember, your self-identity determines your confidence, ingenuity in the face of adversity, your income, and your impact on the world. Reinvent that, and you revolutionize your game completely.
I've been privileged to help many thousands of people do all of this by following the very simple process that I teach in my famous online course, Extreme Achievement Formula. This is the legendary program that has helped people from across the planet create exponential gains in their bravery, mindset, productivity, and performance. And I'll give you a special opportunity to get one of the very limited memberships I've just made available a little later in this video. For now, if you're amped to transform your personal story so you seriously shatter past performance and reach all new levels of achievement, just practice the following three rituals every day for the next 66 days. The period of time research at the University College of London confirms is the minimum viable period needed to install a new habit to the point of automaticity.
Ritual Number One: To practice shift from victim vocabulary to leadership language. Words have awesome power. Your personal story, beliefs, and identity are nothing more than a collection of all of the words your parents, teachers, peers, and friends have spoken to you from the time of your birth to the present moment. You and I are now sharing the filter through which you see and understand the world is just an assembly of what you've heard, been told, read, and received. All words. No ifs. If the daily words of your dominant influences have always reflected what's not possible, how small you must play, that you're not good enough to be great, and that your life needs to flatline, then your brain has been trained to run that program. Just like a computer has no choice but to run the programs and the operating system it's been given. But change the words you accept, as well as the ones you use yourself, from victim speak into the language of leadership, excellence, and possibility. And with practice, you'll wire in a completely new operating system that delivers completely new results. To be super practical, as a measurable service to you, I encourage you today to delete phrases such as "I'm in trouble," "I hate this," "I've never been good at that," and "That's impossible," "I feel so tired," and "I can't." And replace them with: "I can and I will," "I'm getting big projects done now," "This will be easy," and "I'm the kind of person who gets even better as things get harder." As your words change, your internal story transforms, and then your performance follows.
The next thing to practice for the next 66 days so you rewrite your personal story is this:
Ritual Number Two: Behave the way you want to become. This tactic is derived from the profoundly simple yet simply profound psychological principle that provides it's far more powerful to behave your way into a new way of thinking than to think your way into a new way of behaving. This psychological fact confirms once again the power of daily, relentless practice. Practice being fearless, and you'll install the thinking of fearlessness. Practice non-procrastination, and you'll possess the mindset of an extreme achiever. Practice being unbeatable, and you'll have unbeatability as your mental default setting.
And then the third ritual I want to share with you right now to rescript your inner story is:
Ritual Number Three: Walk with giants and sit with titans. You see, your associations determine your achievement. Your peers drive your performance, and your environment explains your results. Two exciting new concepts are seriously worth your attention: attitudinal contagion and emotional contagion. The first explains that the beliefs, mindsets, and goals of the people you associate with are contagious. Spend your precious hours with people who have accepted mediocrity, speak of lack, operate average, and view themselves as powerless little victims, and over time, you'll start thinking like them too. Associate with people of excellence, productivity, decency, passion, and audacity, and you'll subconsciously adopt their stories of all that's possible, how defeat is valuable for victory, that most people have a ton of good within them, and that life's just too short to play small. Attitudes, science confirms, are contagious.
The second concept, emotional contagion, explains the fact that we start to feel like the people we spend most of our time with. Studies show that people married to a depressed, anxious partner pick up those feelings to the point where they too become depressed and anxious. Invest most of your time with people who are scared to rise to world class, fearful of change, threatened by the poetic possibility their life is meant to be, and you'll start feeling like them as well.
I just have to add one more valuable concept I want you to appreciate to the two I've just shared: epigenetics. For many years, science believed that the way we thought, performed, and lived was based on our genetics. Good genes produced healthy, talented, successful people, and bad genes were the cause of illness, apathy, and poor performance. The previously accepted view was that peak performance was like a lottery. If you were fortunate enough to have the right genetic coding, you won the blessing of a beautiful life. That's all been changed thanks to the wonderful findings of epigenetics. We now know the new understanding that your environment dramatically influences the way your genetic code will express itself. So we have a lot more choice in the levels of performance, production, income, and impact on the world than thought to be the case earlier. The student who exercises daily, eats superbly, and has peers who are outstanding causes her genetic nature to express itself optimally. The manager, mother, filmmaker, or entrepreneur who practices near-flawless daily habits creates the environment for their genes to switch on to exceptional. So let go of any excuses you may be reciting about how you haven't been lucky enough to become ultra-successful. The biggest way to give up your power is thinking you have no power. The truth is that extreme achievement is a decision, along with a series of behaviors. Success is really an evolution of small wins that, when done consistently over time, stack up into a revolution of world class. 10,000 hours to become an overnight sensation, 10 years to become an instant success. The bottom line is this: your environment is a key factor in the full capitalization of your potential. Walk with giants, people who do big things daily, and you'll step into their results dramatically. Sit at the feet of titans, watch how they live and learn what they do, and you'll leap from where you are now to the level they achieve at. So what I'm suggesting to you with great encouragement is this: if you're the smartest person you know, maybe it's time to know new people. If you're the most successful person in your group, maybe it's time to find a new group. And if you're the highest-achieving and biggest-thinking person in your circle, maybe today is the day to step into a new circle.
Okay, the third powerful and likely somewhat shocking law I want to share with you in this free training video I've so carefully crafted for you so you capitalize on your potential, make quantum leaps in your performance, and absolutely become the preeminent player in your field is this one.
Extreme Achievement Law Number Three: Solitude is the secret weapon of every world-class performer. Our world encourages us to be out in it with people, amid the noise, complexity, and shiny toys that society suggests are the sincere measures of success. But to have the results very few have, have the courage and discipline to do what very few do. That's why so few people rise to epic performance and live lives that inspire. You know that it's not that each of us don't have the potential to get there. It's just that so few of us are willing to build the focus, put in the time, and make the sacrifices to get there. And one of the common routines of extreme achievers is that they block out a ton of time to be alone. And since this is such a rare habit and so different from the way most people operate, the ones who do this are often misunderstood. They're called strange, eccentric, and a little weird. But all progress comes from those considered strange, eccentric, and a little weird.
I recently read two fascinating books. One is called Golden Eye. It's about James Bond creator Ian Fleming and his cottage above a Jamaican beach that he named Golden Eye. Every Bond novel was written in that safe haven of total isolation. The other book I read shared profound insights on the daily behaviors of Albert Einstein. Much of the time, he was alone in his work lab, deep in thought, or on the lake sailing his small dinghy. Analyze most of those who've risen to world class, and you'll find the same trait: they understand the awesome value of some time every day in solitude. Kobe does it at 3:00 a.m. on a basketball court while his competitors are sleeping. Maya Angelou, the celebrated poet, did it in a rented motel room where she'd go to get her best work done every morning. One of the billionaires I've coached schedules three hours a day to do nothing but think and harvest the ideas that continue to expand his fortune. Being alone isn't a waste of productivity. No, in this world of scarce attention and broken focus, it's mission critical to it.
Okay, so let's jump into one of the pieces that I teach to my clients called the rewards of solitude. Understand them and then execute around them, and you'll create wonderful gains in your productivity and results.
The first reward to spending time alone is the opportunity to develop loyalty to your vision, values, and ideals, and stay true to your dreams when challenged by the voices of dissent. Every one of us receives extraordinary ideas from time to time. Yet, unfortunately, those ideas that have the potential to revolutionize our lives if we brought perfect execution to them generally fade away on the first encounter with a cynic. You share your dream of reaching peak health or launching a startup or building your fortune, and it gets crushed by a critic. You tell a family member you've decided to learn to surf in Portugal or ski down a mountain in New Zealand or swim with the dolphins in Mauritius or compose a sonata on a pristine beach in Antigua. More laughter, more disbelief, and so you quit. But as you know, the impossible is generally the untried. And every visionary gets ridiculed before they become revered. And of course, the moment you start thinking about growing your achievement exponentially and playing in the orbit of amazing people won't get you, they'll misunderstand you. The bravery of your ambition will frighten them, then disrupt them, and then threaten them. They'll fear for your future and worry for your safety. You know better that the illusion of danger that great growth brings is always safer than the threat of doing nothing. Without risk, there can be no reward. And it's the courageous embrace of the possibility of failure that makes success truly possible. By spending time in solitude, you get to work on your largest ideas, refine your plans, iterate your vision, and spend more time connecting with your dreams. That time away from the noisy chatter of the world, in the wilderness of aloneness, strengthens your self-belief. It makes you more loyal to your cause, and it grows the grit needed to relentlessly stay true to your goals when you go back into our world filled with naysayers, negativists, and non-doers. I go far deeper in how to leverage this reward of solitude in Extreme Achievement Formula. And as promised, I'll give you the opportunity to get one of the very limited memberships into this online course that has helped so many thousands of people from across the world achieve results they'd never been able to get done. Shorten.
But for now, turn up your attention even more because this piece on solitude is powerful and important and will fuel beautiful improvements for you once you start practicing. Simply remember that installing the daily routine of being alone for some time every day – I personally get this from a one-hour walk in the woods – affords you the chance to grow in your personal confidence so that you can get your boldest dreams and highest visions done, no matter what obstacles you face.
This brings me to the next reward of solitude: freedom from distraction. We get our best work done away from the noisiness and complexity of the world. When we're alone, we can focus monomanaically on our most important project. We can roll up our sleeves and go deep into work that matters, making all we touch into magnificent masterpieces that endure long after we're gone. In solitude, we can spend endless hours bringing on the full extent of our mental potential, personal focus, and on what counts the most. And in a world where most people are addicted to distraction and giving their finest hours the least important pursuits, like watching dance and cat videos or endlessly surfing the net, this alone is a game-changer.
The third reward of solitude is a concept I teach called vertical creativity. For the average producer, their creativity and the quality of their ideas follows a horizontal path. Not much changes day-to-day, and all progress is slow. Everything is based on what worked in the past. But the extreme achiever knows this beautiful principle: creativity needs a space to present itself. Genius is not the child of genetics, but the offspring of the right conditions. And once space is made, ideation leaps from horizontal to vertical, from living in the past to creating a powerful future, and everything accelerates. Look, if you're constantly surrounded by people, stimulation, and interruptions, your brain will never get into the state where your natural genius shows up to deliver its gifts. In the past, this brilliance has been called "the muse," and people have whispered that it only visited the chosen few. But the reality is that you can access the state of uber-intelligence and ultra-creativity whenever you want if you arrange the right conditions.
Here's the science behind it all, and this is where it gets incredibly exciting: in the quiet of solitude, your brain waves slow down and shift from beta to alpha. This creates a condition called transient hypofrontality, where the thinking part of the brain, the prefrontal cortex, temporarily shuts down. This means your inner critic gets silenced for a few hours, your negative self-talk vanishes for a while, and your monkey mind actually grows still. Okay, this gets even cooler. Researchers like Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi call this the Flow State. This is the mindset every great athlete, artist, inventor, and producer creates in their days to achieve their world-class performances and results. And one of the best ways to create flow is to get to solitude. When your brain drops into Flow State through being alone and utterly focused on the one thing in front of you, your brain starts to produce awesome neurotransmitters that raise your thinking, focus, and creativity to the realm of the masters, maestros, and virtuosos. Dopamine gets released, which kickstarts seriously high feelings of inspiration and motivation. Anandamide gets released, making you feel like you're immersed in bliss. And serotonin gets made, which results in a deep state of joy. In the laboratory of solitude, you'll transcend the boundaries of average thinking and get into the zone where the legends play. The passing hours feel like an instant. All that matters is the moment, and your output rises to art.
The fourth reward of solitude is the prevention of depletion. We're closing in on the end of this video, so we don't have time to get into my models and methods for unleashing superhuman levels of energy and stamina. I'll teach you all that when you become a member of Extreme Achievement Formula. For now, I'll simply say that for you to have rare-air levels of energy so you outproduce every performer in your field, please understand this primary principle: energy that is not renewed is energy that gets depleted. What I mean by this is that the best performers run cycles. They have hours each day and days each week for full-on, intense activity at the highest level, and then they have the wisdom to drop into a refueling cycle so that their well gets refilled. Fail to do this, and your mental focus, creativity, energy, and execution fire will start to dim. You'll start to see smaller results. You'll begin to flame out. One of the foundations of virtuosity is endurability: staying at legendary, not just for a week, but sustaining your A-game for a lifetime, so you outlive your competition, so you become a master of your craft, so you go down in history. In solitude, away from the demands and the noise and the overstimulation that our society presents, you can renew, recharge, recalibrate, and then go out strong and prepared to pour even more brilliance into the world.
The fifth reward of solitude is depth of insight. We live in a society that celebrates superficiality. Reality TV royalty become famous for their misbehavior. Celebrities become heroes for their handbag choices. And the cult of mediocrity prefers the fast fix of instant gratification versus putting in the time needed to produce a body of work that wows all witnesses. By being alone, you can get deep into your big ideas. You can analyze insights without being interrupted. You can reflect on what's most important, how you can serve the world better, what you want your life to stand for, and how you'll rise to iconic. Solitude produces deep thinkers. Being alone is the core habit of every game-changer because within the inspirational isolation chamber of solitude, the conditions that allow you to automatically receive the download of genius that creates monumental work product, scary good performances, a global movement around your reputation, and earth-shaking solutions to the world's biggest problems begin to show up. Yes, solitude delivers this, and you absolutely owe it to yourself and to all of us who will benefit by your newly awakened glory to get this done.
And this brings me to the final insight of this free training video that I've spent countless hours to really make super valuable for you.
Extreme Achievement Truth Number Four: To double your income and your impact, triple your investment in professional education and personal development. Education is inoculation against disruption. A lust for learning is the superfood of every human being who has reached the highest levels of achievement, enjoyed a life of excellence, and modeled mastery. Quite simply, the person who learns the most, the fastest, wins. Every world-class performer has one thing in common: they crave growth, they love progress, and they adore the pursuit of being exceptional. And so they learn relentlessly and invest in the optimization of their mindset, the improvement of their achievement, and the iteration of their pro skills constantly.
Ordinary people spend a ton of time on entertainment. They celebrate their televisions, spending valuable hours they'll miss when they're old watching addictive TV shows or gossiping with their friends. Most of this is done because they're bored. They have no central purpose nor mighty why that ignites their internal fire and gets them up out of bed with a feeling that their hair is on fire. World-class performers are so different. They focus less on entertainment and more on education, understanding that when they think better, they can do better. And when you know more, you can achieve more. You see, the average performer is all about leisure. The best performer is all about learning. The average performer talks about people. The exceptional producer discusses their dreams. The average performer is frightened of change. The elite performer is inspired to change.
And here's another thing I invite you to consider: for the extreme achiever, yesterday's record-breaking performance is today's new normal. The top of one mountain just offers you glimpses of more mountains to climb. The world suggests that you stop and be content with everything that you have and stop your relentless quest towards what's never been done. But you're smart and talented and devoted and committed to a life that makes history, so you know the champions don't behave that way. For the very finest of the very best, there is no finish line. And you know that within you lies the potential that, if capitalized on, will make you the finest of the very best. And for the very best, there is no finish line. Greatness doesn't have an exit point. Making history doesn't come with a retirement date. For the very best of the very best, every day is a gift: a chance to compete against who they were and what they accomplished yesterday, an opportunity to learn the next idea that will refine their game, polish their craft, deepen their insight, and widen the advantage they have compared to everyone else in their field. All of this comes from the commitment to learning and from becoming a serious investor in the business of developing your best.
I call this way of operating each day the 2x 3x mindset. This tool alone has helped the hundreds of thousands of people who follow my work install the powerful beliefs they've always wanted to have, generate the results they've never been able to get, and enjoy lives they now adore. The 2x 3x mindset means that to double your income and impact, your single smartest move is to triple your investment on these two priorities: your professional education and your personal development. When I coach and advise the billionaires, famed entrepreneurs, and industry titans, they secretly confide that a daily devotion to learning and growth has been the advanced game-changer for them. When I work with NBA stars and entrepreneurial icons, they quietly say that their performance comes from their devotion to growing, studying their skills, and committing to securing the finest information available to them.
I remember having a long lunch with an ultra-high-net-worth individual who said this: "Robin, the years I spent three hours every single morning working on my personal development and making my skills better, I was not only making the most money, they were the years I was the happiest and most helpful to people." I had a mastermind session recently with a young entrepreneur worth a fortune and beautifully elevating the world in the process, and he shared that he regularly attends conferences that cost $25,000 to get into. He then spoke something unforgettable: "I just can't afford not to be at those events. Missing all the learning, actually not knowing all that new information, costs me a lot more than the price of admission."
You see, when you know more, you can achieve more. When you expose your mind to the insights, ideas, and lessons of the greatest achievers of the world, your mind automatically starts thinking like this. You automatically start doing what they do, and you begin on a consistent basis to do things you've never been able to achieve and pour awesome streams of excellent value out into our world. Just imagine if one of your biggest heroes agreed to share their winning formula that they had developed over many years of experimentation, misses, and wins with you. By learning what they do, you would save years of lost effort and avoid a lifetime of perpetual frustration.
The 2x 3x mindset protects you against the malady of apathy. The vast majority of people stop learning, getting better, and capitalizing on their natural potential the moment they finish school. Their potential for genius and virtuosity never gets unlocked. This leads to lives of misery, suffering, and acute emptiness because, as I shared at the beginning, potential unexpressed turns to pain. On the other hand, the masters totally get that the moment you think you're a master, you've become a beginner again. And they totally get that every day offers a platform to improve, and that every moment carries the chance to grow and get closer to the mastery of their skill. And so they consistently run the 2x 3x mindset and become unbeatable.
Okay, those are the four laws of extreme achievement:
Law Number One: World-class performance is a precise process versus a natural gift.
Law Number Two: Your performance always rises or falls to the level of your beliefs.
Law Number Three: Solitude is the secret weapon of every world-class performer.
And Law Number Four: To double your income and impact, triple your investment in your professional education and personal development.
Please practice these until they wire in as your automatic new ways of being. I truly hope that this very special video that I've made for you with such passionate conviction in your potential to be great has served you well.
