Hey everybody, it's Anna. Time for our final card in this week's tarot story.
So, we close the week with the seven of cups. So, I just think this tarot story is really fun because the seven is a great ending to what we've already done this week. The number seven connects to discernment or wisdom. And cups are connected to the heart. They are about feeling emotionally fulfilled, connected to other people, as well as feeling rooted in your intuitive genius. Right?
The image shows a man being offered seven cups, and he gets to pick the one he wants. He has to use his discernment and his wisdom to choose the gift that he wants the most. This is a cups card. This is not a logical decision he is making. He doesn't have a plan for what he needs. He is following what makes him feel happy or joyful. What's connecting to that emotional center within himself and basically he's going to choose that and that choice will open up a certain kind of path. Right?
And I love this because we've been we've worked with the page of pentacles and the two of wands. The page of pentacles, that young energy that's in the world, having experiments and adventures. The two of wands is about rooting in your passion, letting yourself really get nutrition from that inward commitment to your um your intuition, your your confidence and your passion. Right? And this card is about now following up with that in making choices from a discerning place, from that intuitive place in the world.
So, we've got three different we've got pentacles, wands, and cups all working together here. all these different areas of our lives, our energy, our passion, our our connection, our meaningfulness, as well as our being physical on the planet. So consider today, what is it that makes you happy? That really is kind of the easiest question for the cups is what makes you happy? What makes you joyful? It makes you feel warm and like connected in the world like you feel you feel about a part of things, right? So the heart uh the heart and the cup are about relationships. It's about feeling connected in the world. This is the point that you say, "Oh, if I did this, that would make me feel so happy. I'd be so like available in the world, so excited to be in the world with this gift." That's what you're looking for.
The way people get stuck in making decisions is because it does become a linear task. This week, by the way, has no swords. So, we don't have any representatives of the mind. This week is not about the mind being at linear. It is really about these other three areas of our lives. The physical, the passion, and the connection. And so the reason we get stuck in in making decisions, the mind thinks there's a right or a wrong decision. It's a dualistic understanding of things. Like this is a test. Can you make the right choice? Um but there there is no right or wrong choice with with the heart. It the heart's not you're not you you can't possibly make a mistake because whatever you choose that path is not where the magic is. The magic is always in you. It's always in the interplay between all these different parts of yourself and them working together cooperatively and actually I think from a place of love and expansion. So when you're choosing that, wherever you go, you make the magic. And even if you choose a path that ends up being contracting, like it's not expansive. Well, you learn from that too, right? You discover where maybe there's a stuck point, there's a wound, you solve that and you move on. So there is no way to lose here.
Um, so so the mind worrying about making a mistake or choosing or, you know, picking a path and limiting what is possible. Um, you know, all that's just kind of a a mind game. The mind's just getting itself caught up in turn a knot. Really, it's as simple as saying what makes you happy and going and the mind learning to trust that. And I think this whole um tarot story is about the mind kind of settling back. We've got the pentacles moving, the wands moving, the cups moving, and the mind at this point, we're not make none of these are about making action steps. None of these are about making strategies or even communicating. They're all about following different kinds of energy and the mind learning that right now, hang tight, be still, watch the magic unfold. And um when the action steps are ready, yeah, we're definitely going to ask the mind to step in and do some stuff. But right now, the mind is an observer to the wisdom and the working out of magic of the other parts of ourselves.
So that's our final card. See you next time. Bye.
