I'm going to pray for the message too and for the messenger. I'm feeling really like that needs a lot of help too. So, Lord, I just pray this morning that you would, uh, confirm your words with signs and wonders. And I pray for an anointing to share and teach. Amen.
Well, while we're passing those, I'm just going to start sharing. I, I want to talk about the power of gratitude. And, uh, I guess Bill, I think when I was gone, did you speak on it while I was gone? Um, someone told me, yeah, that's Bill spoke on when I was changing services.
I want to talk about the power of Thanksgiving, the power of gratitude. And I probably won't share anything that you haven't heard before. Um, but I had an experience this is several years ago, uh, before COVID. And in that experience, I had a dream. And in the dream, I saw I was getting a shot with a large syringe. You know how dreams are, art was extremely exaggerated. So it was like this big. And on the side of it, it said gratitude. And it was in my arm and I was getting this shot. And I woke up and my heart was pounding and I was, you know, half, half awake and half asleep. And I was like, Lord, what was that? And he said, I just inoculated you with with Thanksgiving.
And, and I, and I said, wait, what? What does that mean? You inoculated me? He said, oh, you had several, several deadly diseases. And now I'm like, I had several deadly diseases? What were they? He said, entitlement, bitterness, resentment, apathy, anger, unforgiveness, jealousy, competition, pride, arrogance, conceit, and suspicion.
Now, the reason I have those written down is because as soon as he said that, I don't my own to notes and I'm like, I better make sure I write these down. And I, and I was like, now I'm really in a panic. And the Lord said, oh, don't worry about that. I took care of it. I inoculated you with gratitude. Wow. Wow. That's a little humbling to be honest.
And the Lord said to me, I inoculated you and all you have to do is perpetuate gratitude in your life and none of those things will take root in there. The Lord, the enemy has put those seeds, he's cast those seeds into your life, but none of them will take root when, if you keep gratitude alive in your life.
And so I, you know, obviously that was a very difficult message to be honest. But I, I learned and learning how many, you know what I mean by that? Sometimes you learn something and you're like, I got this. And then you, something else happens, you're like, I don't know anything about this. And I have to tell you, I've cycled through that many times in the last. And I'll tell you another thing in a little, in a little few minutes, but I've cycled through that many times. That was probably six years ago that I had that. And I, I really did on purpose cultivate gratitude. Cuz the Lord said, said these are seeds that they, they'll never take root as long as you keep yourself in gratitude and thankfulness.
And, um, Psalms 100 verse four says, we enter his gates through Thanksgiving and his courts with praise. And now obviously, Thanksgiving, our response to God's acts. Praise, our response to God's character. And you know, David's depicting the Tabernacle of Moses where there was an outer court, there was the holy place, and the holy of holies. And he's, he's, he's, if you will, metaphorically, he's saying, you can't even get through the gate with Thanksgiving. You can't even get through the gate thanks without Thanksgiving. Thank you. I got the boogers.
Um, and so Thanksgiving opens our ears to the voice of God. It clears the clutter of the noise of nullification. It disarms, it disarms the spirit of deafness that leads to doubt and disbelief. Attitude pushes us past the stones of stumbling and the rocks of offense and builds a highway to hear the voice of God.
Right. I, I want to tell you that I, I was, uh, we just did, um, I spent a week in the UK, or about five days in UK, four days in UK. And we did this prophetic conference. And afterwards, it was really powerful, by the way. I'll tell you this one. I, I prophesied the last night. I prophesied over about 30 people. I prophesied over this young man. He was literally sitting in the center and about halfway back. The room was packed with people. People. He was probably 25 years old. I had him stand up. And he stood up. And I said, I see you as an evangelist. And I gave him this whole word about, they're, they're in a university town. I see you as as evangelist. And I see the university on fire for God with your messages. And then afterwards, after the whole evening, they gave a salvation call. And almost 40 people came up. And he came up to get saved. Definitely was a prophecy and not a word of knowledge, let me just tell you that right there.
And so, um, so and somebody came up to me, one of the leaders came up to me after that and said, how, how do you hear the Lord so clearly? I feel like I've been in a like a time of kind of, I, I just not hearing the Lord. And I said, I don't, I don't know. Like I will say this though, gratitude opens your ears. And, and grumbling and fear and complaining, which all of us have done, can we say amen? It's not an accusation. It's, it's an observation in our lives when we get there. It's really hard to hear God. And when you cultivate gratitude and Thanksgiving, it's like all of a sudden a whole world, it's like, whoo, you step through this door and a whole world, new world opens to and you're like, wow, now the Lord speaking to me? No, he was speaking to you. You just couldn't hear because when you are, when we are in this place of offense or unforgiveness or bitterness or how about this one, fear? Anybody ever experience fear? Yeah. Those things rob us of he of hearing the voice of God when we need to hear it the most.
And so, yeah, so I, I, uh, yeah, that's good. Uh, Philippians 4:6. This is one of Kathy's favorite verses. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with Thanksgiving. Everybody say, with Thanksgiving. Let your request be known to God.
I, I, I like this. Thanksgiving is the Prozac of the spirit. I don't know. That's the Lord. I just made that one up. I won't give the Lord credit for that one. But it's, it, it, it's the peace that passes understanding. Something happens in Thanksgiving where you're anxious, you're afraid, and when you start to get thankful, it doesn't just change your thoughts. It changes the way you think.
So, um, in Ephesians chapter 5, verse three, it says, immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among the saints. And there must be no filthiness or silly talk or coarse jesting, which is not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. I want you to notice that he's not just saying don't cuss. He's saying be thankful. He's not saying, he's not just saying don't talk dirty. He's saying be full of gratitude.
I, I'm pointing out that gratitude, I think I put it like this, Thanksgiving is the antidote for an impure heart. You got junk going on in your life. You got stuff going on in your heart. Come on, don't give me that stare like I'm the only one. I see you. I'm a prophet. Don't lie to me. All of us deal with this stuff. And you're like, Lord, what do I do about this? And the Lord's like, give thanks.
Listen, when I need to give thanks the most is when I feel it the least. As a matter of fact, I looked up the sacrifice of Thanksgiving is mentioned like 40 times in the Bible. Like a sacrifice of Thanksgiving. You know what it means when you're sacrificing Thanksgiving? It means you don't feel like it. I don't feel thankful. And God goes, I want you to give thanks. Lord, I don't. I feel like I'm faking. The Lord's like, you're not faking. You're sacrificing. When I need to be thankful the most, I feel it the least. Yes. In fact, the problem is I don't feel it. How many know in the kingdom, feelings follow action. In the world, action follows. You know, I don't know how to reverse that, but you know what I'm trying to say. Don't mess with me, man.
In, uh, First Timothy, oh, you're going to love this one. In 1 Timothy chapter 2, verse one, it says, first of all, then I urge you that in treaties, in prayers, petitions, and Thanksgiving, that they be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that you may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
Let me read it in the Bethel passage. First of all, then I urge you that in treaties and prayers and petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, especially for Republican kings and governors. Oh, especially for Democratic kings and governors and all who are in authority. Did you know that Paul wrote that to Timothy in the days of Nero? Like, you don't know who's leading us. No, no, you don't know who is leading them. True.
I want to point out that social media is the polar opposite of the kingdom. If you're training and equipping through social media, what you're learning is how to complain and gripe about things you know very little about. Come on. And maybe things you know a lot about and don't like. Lord, I give thanks for the person I voted for. Is it possible? It's, listen, I'm not saying the Lord said this. Well, Paul said that in Corinthians. Here's my opinion. Not necessarily the Lord. I'm like, it's in the Bible. You're, you're in the Bible. Is this your opinion? Opinion of the Lord? Is it possible that leaders that we don't like, we stop praying for? And it's worse than it would be if we would have. I'm not praying for him. I didn't vote for him. You know what he stands for? I don't know. But it's getting worse. As we complain. Wow. I think it's Bill who said complaining is to the devil what praise is to God.
I'm pointing out that he doesn't say just pray for them. I pray for them. Lord, bless them with a brick. I've been, we have a government prayer meeting. I could always tell who people vote for by how they pray. Lord, deliver him from evil. Deliver him from the demonic spirit that possesses his soul. And I give thanks for him. Whoa. Okay. See how quiet it got in here? You should have seen first service. You could hear the crickets in there.
I listen, let me be clear. I'm not saying you have to agree with people. I'm just saying that Thanksgiving is the foundation of listening, hearing, and speaking. And when we stop listening, then we start praying our will and not his will. Cuz we don't know what his will is. Cuz we're so offended. I know at Twin View, some people got up and walked out as soon as I gave the Bethel version. But anyway, Thanksgiving.
I, you know, I'm 70 years old this month and I'm going into the promised land. I'm driving out some of the enemies I see. And here, I'm just joking. That was a complete joke. I'm just trying to be funny. Uh, I know we've been through a lot in our life. And you know, you, if you start complaining a lot, you encounter people who have been through a lot more. So, you know, obviously, obviously there are people who have had it way worse than anybody in here, probably.
But, um, when COVID happened, it took my experience to a whole another level. And before we had COVID, the year before COVID, we had car fire. We, 7% of our city burnt down. And then we had COVID. And in the midst of COVID, Benny was diagnosed four stage cancer. And so we had the journey. And then obviously, we lost her at the end. And then we had, um, social justice situation. When I say then, it wasn't then, it all happened together. Then Eric and Candice, you know, our senior pastors who we love very much, planted a church, which was, I mean, you know, bittersweet. We're, we're happy for them. It was just a very difficult, it was very difficult to see them leave here. And so loved here. And, um, and then, um, my daughter went through a divorce. So she was going through a divorce. Well, we were in the middle of COVID. And, um, it was dark. It was really dark. It got really, really dark. I, I say this not jokingly, like I've had two nervous breakdowns. The last one was 16 years ago. First one was I was 22. So someone once said, know yourself. I realize that I am prone to something that I need to, I need to watch over.
Well, so we got to COVID. We got to COVID. I think we did pretty good. I'm saying me. I navigated the fires pretty well. And we were doing, you know, we were just trying to navigate like things come so quickly. And by the way, that's just, that's, you know, when I say COVID, I'm not just talking about the virus, which we had several of our people die. Several people we love were severely sick. Our students were, you know, rotating in and out. But our school went from 2,400 to 1,400 in one month. Our media company went from 11 million to 3 million in one month. We had no services. We had an events department with a fully functioning events department with no events for 18 months. And I, I, I, I don't want to like, like sound ungrateful or like, well, he's the business guy, but it's pretty difficult to have a team of 850 that have families and basically have, have your income dropped by $20 million. It's not easy. And every day thinking, how are these people? We're responsible for these people. And thankfully, I will say this, thankfully.
And so, let me just say this before I say anything else, like the generosity in this place dramatically increased. Our tithes and offerings without services went up 17% the first year. Like when less people came, more people gave. And the next year they went up by 20%. Like if we did, obviously we had other departments that were didn't bring anything. But I truly before God have no idea financially how we navigated COVID to this day. We paid all of our bills. We laid nobody off. And we navigated a very tough season by the grace of God. Truly by the grace of God.
The first six weeks of COVID were the hardest for me. Well, later on, I got, I actually got COVID. That was, that was, I'll tell you a little bit about that. But it was really dark. And it was happening so fast. And I feel like, you know, I've been through a lot. I lost my Kathy. And I lost our business the year we came here because we sold it to someone who didn't pay us. And they, and they went bankrupt. And so we lost our house. We lost all of our possessions. Um, my, you know, my daughter Jamie had epilepsy for a year with she couldn't take medication. We've been through that. I mean, I could just take you. And I have a son, obviously, that went through a divorce 16 years ago while he was on staff. So, I mean, we've been through some really hard things. But the, the mere frequency of how quickly things were going bad, I think was greater than I could navigate. And every day it got worse. And so I, I was having a hard time getting out of bed. And I'll just be totally transparent here. I was very concerned that I was heading towards another nervous breakdown because I couldn't, I was struggling to get out of bed.
And I remember coming up the road here during COVID and feeling physically ill. And in the up spinning on and off two hours in the restroom, just trying to navigate the stress. And you know, it's one of those days you don't say, well, what else could go wrong? Because it was that kind of frequency. It was not easy. And so week after week passed. And I was just crawling out of bed. And I'm like, I, I have to, I have to go with my team. And, uh, and the Lord said to me, leaders don't have the privilege of going to work afraid. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for that instruction. It's very helpful. He said, fear is a contagious virus that spreads through speech, infecting the imagination and slowly poisoning the soul. The infected contaminate others and they spread and they spread the dialect of defeat and the misery and the mindset of misery. Soon even the faithful find themselves immersed in a battle, slugging their way through the mud of mediocrity and in a war of attrition. And that was me.
And finally, the Lord said to me, you can't go to work until you stop being afraid. And I'm like, okay, I'm quitting today. And so I started getting up. So my normal time, I probably wake up 6:30 or so without a clock on normal days. I started getting up at 5:30. And I get in the bathtub. Only I tell you that because that's where the Lord seems to meet me. Like 30% of all my supernatural encounters have happened in the bathtub. So I'm like, I just retreat there. It's like, you have a prayer closet. I have a cloth foot bathtub. And I keep adding water. You know, it's like, this goes long. I'm like, maybe more water will help. I'm baptizing myself in the Holy Spirit and water. So I'm laying in the bathtub. And I'm like, I'm like, okay, I get up at 5:30. And I'm laying there. And I'm still can't get to work without anxiety. I started getting up at 5. I started getting up at 4:30. Pretty soon, I'm up at 4. Not because I'm spiritual, completely because I'm desperate. And I'm in the bathtub. And I, and I'm praying four o'clock in the morning. This is like week six. And, and the Lord said to me, I want you to write three things down that you're thankful for. It's, it's super hard to admit this in front of thousands of people, but it was took me almost 15 minutes to think of the first one. I've had a lot of miracles in my life. I laid there thinking, okay. And then I wrote down one. It took me about an hour to get three down. I wrote down three things I was thankful for.
And the next morning, in bed, before the Lord's like, I want you to read the three that you wrote down yesterday. And I want you to write down three more. And I wrote down three more. And the next day, I woke up, got in a tub. The Lord's like, read those six and write down three more. And I wrote down three more. And the next day, I want you to read those nine and write down three more. And wrote down three more. And the next day, I want you to read those 12 and I want you to write down three more. And I wrote down three more. And the next day, I want you to read those 15 and write down three more. And I wrote down three more. And you get the idea. And pretty soon, by the time I got to 30 days, I had written down 90 things. It probably took, and I don't remember exactly, but around day 15, something lifted. Wow. I mean, I could feel it lift. Like I was awake. I wasn't waking up and drudging my way through. I was waking up to, oh, I remember two more things. I remember another thing. And I, and I, I remember, I know this is, I'm a little being a little melodramatic here, but I can remember, okay, Rocky's my one of my favorite movies. So I'm sorry. It's, I know Rocky's. I think Rocky's a Christian. If he isn't, he, he should be. Needs to work on his cussing. But anyway. No, I, I remember waking up. I don't know. It's probably day 20 or something. And just thinking of Rocky being down on the mat. I don't know if you've ever watched Rocky. So in every single Rocky series, he's always just about to lose. He's down on the mat. And they're counting out one, you know, two, three, four. And then like at eight, he stands up. And he looks like he's going to die. Then he's like, come on. I remember thinking, this is like me. That is like Rocky. I'm like, down on the mat. I'm going to die. The devil's counting me out. It's like, you're over. I'm like, and behind me, I hear [Applause].
I should not be this transparent. It always comes back to bite me. But I, I mean, I, I started writing down, you know, uh, the first thing I wrote down ever was, you know, day one was, I met Kathy at 15 and married her at 20. That was the first thing I was thankful for. There you go, baby. Right there. I remember I had an encounter when I was 15. I've told you about it with the, I said, the Lord, if you heal my mother, I'll find out who you are and serve you the rest of my life. An audible voice said, my name is Jesus Christ. You have what you requested. And the very next morning, my mother's psoriasis was covered from head to toe. Was gone. And the voice came back a week later and said, my name is Jesus Christ. You said if I healed your mother, you'd serve me. And I'm waiting.
I remember being a brand new Christian at 18 years old. And there was the Vietnam War. And my mother's like, you're going to Canada. I had two uncles in the ward. Both of them came back traumatized. My one uncle was a, was a sniper and came back totally messed up. And my mom's like, you're not going to Vietnam. You're going to Canada. And, you know, it was a very unpopular, especially at the end, very unpopular war. By the way, I'm very thankful for all the vets. So let me just say this. I was a young man. I didn't know what I was doing. I just did not want to go to Vietnam. And so I was a very young Christian, brand new Christian. I'll be saved a month. And it was January. And January of 1973. And I prayed. I said, God, you heal my mother, would you please get me out of the war? I didn't know what that meant. I'm just like, I don't want to go to war. And I got my number. I was like, number 20, which is like, you're going for sure. And I'm like, Lord, help me. Like I didn't even know the Lord yet, except for he healed my mother. And about, I don't know, a few days later, it was announced, Richard Nixon ended the draft. January 1973. The very first year, I was the first month of the first year, they ended the draft. I still had to go register. And I didn't have to go. And I'm like, Jesus, my first miracle after knowing the Lord was the Lord ended the draft on my shift. Holy Ghost.
I tell you this one other story. It was like there was like three feet of snow on the ground. We were completely flat broke. And we had missed a quarterly payment to the IRS. Which, by the way, don't ever do that. Let me tell you, don't ever do that. Like, don't pay your rent or don't pay the lights, but do not not pay the IRS. And we owed them like nine grand. And so we were trying to make a deal with them. We were young, young entrepreneurs. We didn't know what we were doing. And, you know, every time you call the IRS, you get a different person. And you, they send you forms. And while they send you the forms, they're still attaching your account. So they just kept sweeping our accounts. And our guys would go to cash their payroll checks. And the IRS would sweep our accounts. And we couldn't, how do you keep pay, how do you keep people employed if they can't cash their paychecks? So we did this for six months. Six months. And we were like, it was just, I don't even want to tell you how we got through that. But it was really bad.
So it's winter time. It's three feet of snow on the ground. I'm in the auto part store. It's 7:30 at night. We've been closed for a couple hours. And this lady pulls up, uh, to the, uh, to the parts store. Because it's pitch dark. There's nothing open. But the lights are on the parts store because I'm in there working on inventory. And she knocks on the window. And says, there's an older lady. She's probably 60-ish. So she, which is very young now. It's getting younger by the day. How didn't you even think I'd be alive at this age? So I opened the door. And she's like, hey, I have chains on. And I'm going to the coast. And I, you know, my chains are all wrapped around my, my wheels. And can you help me? And I'm like, yeah, we're a part store. I mean, we don't install chains. We're a part store. But okay. So I get the jack. I jack it up. We get the chains off of her. And she's like, can I buy some chains? Sure. So I go in. And we don't have her size. Like there was, you know, we sold completely out. I said, okay, why don't I just make you some change? She's like, going to make me some change? Yeah. So she ends up sitting, I forget, a bucket or something. I put down. And she's, it's snowing. And this older lady, lady sitting on the bucket talking to me while I'm making her chains outside. And I said, what do you do? She said, I work for the IRS. I said, lady, you and I, we are not friends. I said, what do you do? She says, I'm the head of the problem solving department for California, for the entire state. Let me just say, the Lord sent an angel. Took care of my IRS problem. Holy Ghost. Jesus.
We bought a house that we couldn't afford. Kathy didn't even want to go look at it. She of little faith. I said, I'm going to go see it. Because my friend said, I feel like God told me that you're supposed to buy this house. It was way out of our, it was twice what what we had. So I said, I'm going to go see it. She says, I'm not going. So I'm okay. So I get in the truck. And I'm going to leave the driveway. And she's running down the driveway. Okay, I'm going to go with you. And then she's like, I'm not getting out. I said, okay. So I get out. And I'm looking. I get inside the house. I'm like, dude, this is really nice. We should buy this. And she comes in. She goes, I don't like this house. I hate this house. We're not buying this house. I said, well, I'm buying it. So you better figure out where you're going to live. So we had this conflict because I felt like we were supposed to buy the house. So we couldn't obviously not afford. And so the, so I asked Bill and Benny if they would come and look at the house. So Bill's like, yeah, let's go Monday. So Bill and Benny come Monday. She's like, no, she was grumbling, not being thankful, and all the things I said she was not doing any of those things. She was like an unbeliever. I had to treat her like an [Applause] unbeliever.
We get in the truck to go to the house, which we obviously can't afford. And the Lord said to me, it's not going to rain over your house. It was pouring rain. Pouring rain. He said, it's not going to be, it's not going to rain over your house. The sun's going to shine over your house. It's going to be a sign that this is your house. So I say to her, it's not going to rain over our house. And she's like, she's totally not believing at all. I had to treat her like an unbeliever. We get to the house. Bill and Benny were there first. We get to the house. And, and it's raining on both my neighbor houses and the whole neighborhood. And the sun is shining only over my house. Huh? Bill, only over my house. I pull in the driveway. I said, see, this is our house. We end up buying the house. Five years later, we pray, Lord, pay off our house because, you know, it's a pretty expensive house. A man pays off our house, $486,000. Two weeks later.
These are the things I started writing down. You want to know why Rocky was playing behind me? Because I was writing down our daughter had epilepsy for a year. She, she, she was untreatable because she's allergic to both medications they give you. So we had to watch over all the time. She, she had grand mal seizures. You know what those are? Looks like someone's demonized. She's full on foaming from the mouth on the floor. So she has to go every month to Dr. Angley down to Reading when we live in Weaville. And she's one, 12 months into this, several seizures, many seizures. She goes down. As she's driving down, the Lord said, there's going to be good news from a far away place today. There was no cell phones in those days. Kathy calls from a telephone booth, I think. And she said, Dr. Angley said, she's healed from epilepsy. That was the end of her epilepsy. She's 45 years old now. No more seizures.
I, I'm just saying something happens when you start remembering what the Lord did for y'all. Yeah. And, and you know what it does? It changes your mindset. Like, not just what you think, but the way you think. Are you with me?
I was praying this morning and I felt like the Lord gave me some words. I'm just going to give you a few. Is that okay? You're in pink right there, sir? Yes. Could you stand up? Very courageous of you to wear pink, sir. Yeah, salmon. Sorry, that wasn't pink. I saw the word wise counselor over you. And I believe that there's a spirit of wisdom and counsel on you for people, especially people who have money and people who are in trouble. Those sometimes of the same people. I noticed. So I bless what God's doing to you.
You're in black right there. Would you stand? What's your name? L. Yes. I, I, I, I saw the Lord healer of hearts. I feel like the Lord is bringing you as a healer of hearts. I feel like you're like a paramedic in the spirit. And when people are having a holy, when they're having a heart attack, I mean, not physically, but when they're having a heart attack, L, you come in. And the Lord's giving you, the Lord's giving you a way to resuscitate them so they never have one again. Wow.
And sir, you're a, you're right there in blue. Would you stand? What's your name? Er. I saw you laying a foundation for the generation to come. And I saw people sitting around you. And you were telling them stories because you're a general in the spirit, sir. You're, and you're not a retired general. The Lord said, you're a refire general. And the Lord says, I'm bringing you back into the battle because the battles that you won in the past, you have faith to win again. And the Lord said, those same battles are around you. And you've seen them around you. And you said, this is what I would do. And the Lord said, good. I'm going to put a spotlight on you. And you can tell people how to win these kind of battles.
Uh, what is your name? Isaiah. Would you stand up? Well, that's a good name. Isaiah. I hope you're living up to the prophet call on your life. But I, I, I saw the Lord show you the future. And I saw you building a road to the future. And I saw you, I see people gathering around you. And it's a little bit like Noah building an ark. And people like, it's not raining. What are you doing? Because you are a futurist. And you see things before it happens. And you're building things. And people are going to laugh at you. They're going to ridicule you. And they're going to post bad things about you because they're going to say he's crazy. But the Lord shows you things years, decades before they happen. And then the Lord's going to open the door to you to build strategies for the coming generations. And not just in the spirit, but also, I mean, you're going to see it by the spirit, but also in the natural. So I bless what God's doing to you. Think AI is something? It's nothing. What you're going to see in the future. So I bless what God's doing in you.
Uh, you, ma'am, would you stand please? Yes, you. What's your name? Sarah. Sarah. Um, uh, uh, Sarah, I saw you laying foundations that are unshakable. And I see you coming into neighborhoods where there's a lot of crime, a lot of corruption, a lot of poverty. And I see the government connecting with you because the Lord has given you, uh, uh, spirit-led strategies for, um, how to break the back of poverty in, in not just in cities, but also in nations. But I see it starting small. And I see you getting these ideas. And the Lord says, compassion is driving you right now. But wisdom is going to follow compassion. And he's going to open the door, uh, in the next, I see the number 17. I don't know if that means 17 days or months. But, but the Lord's going to open the door soon. And there's going to be an opportunity to help in a small area. And, and that's going to open the door to a certain person who sees you and says, we need her on our team. And so don't despise the day of small beginnings. Your compassion is going to turn to wisdom. And your wisdom is going to turn to activation. So we bless that what God's doing in you right there. Thank you, Lord.
Um, yes, you two are you together? Would you stand up? The Lord, um, I just heard House of the Rising Sun. That your house is the House of the Rising Sun. Like the people come to your house. And the spirit of hospitality is like, like people say you're friendly, you're hospitable, but you're powerful. And the devil thinks that you're out. But the Lord says, no, you're in. And the Lord says, stop talking about retirement because you're not retiring. You're actually, I'm going to put the spirit of power. I'm going to put the spirit of wisdom. And I'm going to add it to the to anointing for, uh, hospitality. And like, uh, like Philip and Stephen, who served, uh, the, as deacons in the early church and waited on tables. And they became mighty in power. And the Lord says, you're going to move mighty in power. And you're going to be a secret agent because people are going to see you and they're going to like, oh, there's nothing going on there. And the Lord's like, oh, yeah, yeah. Come on in here. And people who are going to get delivered and healed. And I saw you casting demons out of people in your house. Anyway, there's more. But that's a good word right there.
M, who wants a prophetic word? Awesome. Dan barely said he was going to stay. Dan's really been moving in prophecy. And I think Dan should get on the prayer line today and pray for all y'all. Thank you. How many you agree with that? Say amen. Amen. Look at Dan, by the way. We're two or three witnesses. There we go, right there. Would you stand please? What's your name? Mallory. Mallory. Are you with him? Yeah. Okay. Stand together. What's your name? Ben. Ben. That's good. Son of my right hand. Right. Ben's the son of my right hand. And, um, do you guys have kids? Not yet. Oh, not yet. Okay. We're not supposed to prophesy kids. So I won't say anything about the two. I saw when I looked at you that may not be the Lord. Like, you should always test prophecy, right? Okay. Don't blame the prophet if it goes wrong. Just being a little funny.
So, um, no, on a serious note, I saw, um, I saw, uh, acting and storytelling coming out of you. And I see creativity flowing out of you. And I see the Lord's giving you a new story. He's giving you a new story. It's a story of adventure. It's a story. I see you guys out in the woods, taking people in the woods. And you're teaching them this stuff. I don't know. There's like a curriculum to it. You're doing it together because, uh, you guys are, you didn't marry yourself. You married two different people. That's a lot of fun. I bet. And it's exciting, though. It's exciting, right? You're like, that's not the way I would do it. Yeah, that's why you were attracted to her because that's not the way you would do it. And she's like, yeah, and you're wrong too. So that's not the way I would do it. But the Lord is making a wonderful team. I'm just being a little funny, by the way. That's not exposing that the Lord is making a wonderful team of exploration where you're taking people on adventures. And you're teaching them about the kingdom. And most of them don't know the Lord. And I saw a lot of African-American children. I don't know if that means, like, maybe a neighborhood you're going to work in or whatever. But it's like bringing foundations and new thinking to those, uh, people. And to those people that that God's God gave you to work with. So I bless that in you in Jesus name. Awesome. That's a good word.
And, uh, last thing, I want to do a couple of healing things. Like I, I had a picture in my mind this morning as I was praying in my bathtub of, uh, of somebody in a car accident. And it was a silver or gray car. And the, uh, the airbag hit you in the face. And I don't know if it broke your neck, but it's never recovered. Who's that? Would you stand up right now if that's you? Okay. We can't go along. I have 1 minute and 8 seconds to heal your body. Okay. Jesus is going to heal your body. Did that, were you in a car accident? Um, was it a gray or silver car? It was white. It was white. Oh, we'll do white. No, God doesn't want to hear heal people in white cars today. Okay. Let's just, uh, put someone, stand up and put your hand on her neck, please. So, Lord, we just release healing over her body in Jesus name. And we, we say, uh, no to the, not just this accident, but to the spirit of infirmity. And you, I heard you say this just keeps happening. And I'm like, okay, the Lord's going to put, uh, he's going to sign, like an angel around you so that, uh, that Psalms 91 becomes your Psalm. Like you're going to quote Psalms 91, that you're under the shadow of his wings and you are protected in Jesus name. I release that to you in Jesus name. Okay. One more. Is there, there's two people online with a silver car. The same thing. Oh, okay. Lord, we just release healing over them too. In Jesus name. Um, that those people who are online, we just say yes and amen to your, your healing. And I don't know, I heard Greg. I don't know who Greg is. If that's related to this, but I just say to Greg, Greg, this is for you too. And whatever happened to you, I think the circumstances are a little different. Online, I mean, a little different than these circumstances. But you still have pain in your neck. And the Lord's like, I'm healing you too, Greg. And I bless what God is doing to you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen.
Okay, um, last thing. I just wrote this book, Deliver Us From Evil. I'll probably, uh, have it. It's a 40-day journal out of fear, anxiety, and depression. And every single day has a QR code with me talking to you for two or three minutes, opening the day, and then talking to you at the end of the, of the day, the session. And the goal, I just took how I got out of, how I've been walking in peace for 15 years after two nervous breakdowns. And I just put it in paper. And the Lord just gave me this, I think, beautiful journey. And I, it's a 40-day journey because if you can change the way you think for 40 days, you can change your life forever. And so we'll be releasing that.
Can you just stand and let me pray for you? There may be somebody in here or online on our online family that you don't know the Lord. And if you're online, could you just say in the chat, I'd like to meet the Lord? But if you're in the room today and you don't know the Lord, if you would just raise your hand, I would like to pray for you. And also have a prophetic word for you. If that's you, would you just raise your hand? It, it wouldn't, it, I just believe the Holy Spirit just leading people to Bethel to get saved. I feel like part of our new era is the opening of evangelism. And I feel like the Lord's bringing hungry people. Is that you in the back? Are you raising your hand? I just bless what God's doing in you. Are you raising your hand to receive salvation or just raise your hand? You want to know the Lord? Yes. Okay. So, Lord, we just bless what you're doing in her. And, uh, I saw this, uh, shower. I saw a shower. And it was washing away all of your, uh, anxiety and all of your shame and all of your guilt. And, and then I saw power come into you. And I saw the Lord, uh, taking care of you. Matthew 6, he said, don't worry about what you're wearing, what you have, what to wear. Don't worry about needing to find clothes because the Lord takes care of it. Or food or housing. And so I just bless what God's doing in you. And I pray for him to take care of all of your concerns in Jesus name. And by the way, you can come up to this banner. And we'd love to have some folks pray with you for a few minutes, please.
Is there anyone else in the room you'd like to receive the Lord? Oh, that's awesome. Well, I bless, oh, I prophesied over you earlier, huh? That's good. That's a good way to receive the Lord right there. The future present man is receiving the Lord. So I, I bless what God's doing in you. Something about you. I saw you dedicated as a child to the Lord. And, and so this is great that you're coming now. And so I bless this new journey of yours. I bless new ministry that's opening up before you. And, uh, and I pray for God's prosperity and for a quick work in your life. And for you to, uh, be released from, uh, from shame and from, uh, any kind of, uh, uh, uh, sleepless nights and, uh, and anxiety. And Lord, I just bless this man in Jesus' name.
Is there anybody else in here? You're, oh, there's three online. And we just bless what God's doing, uh, with you. And I heard, uh, beauty comes from ashes. And, uh, I pray for all the people that are coming to the Lord. There's going to be three more online in just a minute. But all the ashes people are going to have beauty over the next 45 days. The Lord's going to turn around your ashes. And you, you said, it can't be done. This is terrible. And the Lord's like, yes, it's true. But watch what I can do with ashes. And so I bless what God's doing there in Jesus' name. And please do get in the chat. We have a team of people that would love to, uh, walk you into a prayer and also give you some resources. And you too, would you come up? I don't know where you went, but I'd love for you to come up for just a few minutes right there and just pray with us if you don't mind. If you're his friend, you can go with him. That would be great. Anybody else? Awesome.
Okay, Lord, we thank you for what you're doing here. And we pray for the kingdom to come, for your will to be done on Earth. Come on, help me. As it is in heaven. Amen. Thank you so much for listening. God bless you. [Music]
