without having a sense of because this is one of the the biggest tricks. And in part, it's because we trick ourselves. And the other part is because the woman portrays herself as a partner. And partner usually has a suggestion of a level of egalitarianism, like you can rely on, I think I can rely on you. But it's more like an America-Israel situation where it's like America never relies on Israel, but Israel's always relying on America. That's really what you're getting, uh, when you're dealing with a woman for the most part.
So, I want you to understand what you won't get from a woman. You won't get a leader. And many of you might say, "Mark, but I never look to a woman for leadership." Maybe you have. If you're ever asking a woman, you know, "What should we do? What do you want to do?" Open-ended questions like that. You are looking for leadership. If you have situations where your lady is like, "Well, I don't know." Should never be that. It should more so be you've downloaded a lot about her Dr. Phil method and then you've provided her a number of options. Even if I agree to watch a movie with my old lady, I'll say not, "What movie do you want to watch?" which is a question. I'll probably give a directive. "Find 10 movies you're interested to watch and I'll veto them and we'll pick that one that we settle them on." So, she'll line up 10. I might veto all 10, but I'm giving her the feeling of options, the feeling of making the decision, when I'm actually in fact making the decision. But it's also relieving her because the more feminine woman you have, they actually don't want to make the decisions. It's the unruly ones that really want to have the agency and make the decisions. But really remember this piece in terms of a leader. And what I mean by that is if you're ever in a bind or a crunch, your lady's not actually going to be able to tell you how to get out of it. If you're ever in a a situation where you need to figure out what your next step is, you'd be better off asking an older man or someone with experience as opposed to like, "Hey, what do you think?" Like asking her what does she think about problems is generally not your best solution. She's not your therapist. You usually will tell your problems to your therapist. The truth is telling any of your problems to a woman is a bad idea. I'm going to repeat that one more time. Telling any of your problems, your real problems to a woman is a bad idea.
There are, however, problems, major air quotes, that you might tell to the woman strategically depending on the category and what you're trying to extract. You can ask some questions about that later if you choose. So, what I'll talk to you about now is let's say you're dealing with your main woman and you're in a cohabitation situation or you're in a marriage and you need to manage the budget and you need her to stop asking about, "Oh, can we buy this?" or "Hey, I I want to go here with my friends," and you're trying to reduce her consumption. Then the fake problem that you would tell her is, "Oh man, you know, we got to cool out. Like, we're down to our last 5,000 bucks." Which is a phenomenal problem to tell her because also when you tell you give a woman like, "Hey, here here's the plan or here's the outcome." They'll start trying to figure out a solution, right? So you tell, "Hey, we're down to our last 5,000 bucks." That's [clears throat] going to reduce her consumption. That's going to reduce her talking about buying this, spending money here, going there, and she might even turn around some of them and say, "Oh, well, here's another 3,000." Or like, "Hey, I think I can do this or do that, and we can come up with another 4,000." And so, you've put her mind from a consumption modality into a either like, "Hey, let's not spend any money. Let's preserve our money," or "How can I add to the pot?" And the beautiful thing about that, and this is going to go in line with a number of things we're going to talk about, is my hope is that you're holding 100,000 cash. So, you know, you're holding 100,000, but you've told her we're down to our last 5,000. That's the position you always want to be in life in general, which is to say, you want to have a ace in the hole. You want to have a trick up your sleeve.
And I'll tell you a little something about women. The reason that you do not tell them your problems because they're not your therapist. They literally can't help. In fact, sometimes therapists themselves can't even help, but surely she can't help and she's not your leader. Mentioned this on a live stream uh some time back. I was uh dealing with a young lady and um we're going to buy a house, right? And houses to women are very psychologically. To a woman, a house to you is a building that you live in. It it doesn't represent a ton psychologically. You can get over moving out and you know, but psychologically to a woman, a house represents so much more. So, I was dealing with a young lady. We want to buy a house. Told her like, "Hey, go pick one out and we'll get it." She goes, picks one out and then um and of course, you know, you're going to deal with the bank. You need a down payment, things like this. And uh the down payment was like a certain amount of money and I usually use creative financing. So I rarely use a traditional loan where you're putting down like 5%. I'm usually putting 10 to 20%. Or even 30% depending on the type of uh situation. It's like commercial or something. So um I say go pick it out. She she picks out a place. And uh mind you, the the key is the woman should never know what you're holding. Really, no one should really ever know what you're holding, especially the government. Uh cuz they're going to want a piece. But anyway, so she picks out a place and then uh she puts together the financing and uh it was a certain amount and you know, I keep my money in various places. And I mean that in like a very expansive sense of that phraseology. It's time to um maybe we're like a week or or two weeks out and you know, we're uh I don't want to get too deep into the story, but let's let's just say I was cutting up. I'm bullshitting. I'm cutting up. I'm doing all kind of I'm wild. I'm just living my regular lifestyle, but I'm cutting up, right? So, let's say like we were going to put like 150,000 into the uh we need 150,000 for the uh down payment for example, and I blow like 70,000 in a day. And so, um, and I'm not thinking anything of it, right? Because I know what I'm holding, but she doesn't know what I'm holding. And with employees, so I'm I'm just talking about business, which we're still talking about when we're talking about business now. With employees, I need that tomorrow like 3:00. Like, it's the deadline is never far out. The deadline is always like urgent. It's always urgent with your employees. They always are under pressure or else they're not going to produce at the highest level. And with the women, they always have to be feeling like they're on the edge. We're on the edge of poverty. I'm on the edge of losing my job as your lady. Everything has to be on the edge or else people don't produce.
So anyways, I know what I'm holding. She's with me. I blow 70,000 in a day. Um, and as far as for her mind, when when she picked out the house and we decided like, "Okay, we need 150,000 for the down payment." Um, I I'm over here like, "Yeah, okay. Perfect. I just got it. I just got it together. So, we can get this house." Like, you know, I just grinded. Boom. I just got the 150,000. Like, we're [clears throat] right over the line. So, you know, like we're just going to like We're blessed. We're blessed. And it's a perfect mentality to put in her head, which is like, "Hey, I still have to work." Like I worked hard for this and we saved it up. I didn't want her to feel like, oh, we need 150,000 here it is. Because if she has a psychology of like, oh, you just need money, Marquette is just going to go and pick it out of like Scrooge McDuck, pick it out of his like infinite like well of gold and just set it right there. If it looks too easy or seems too easy or there's never a stroll or there's never planning, then for her it's like, "Oh, I need a Birkin bag. Where you got this from? Go get that."
So, at a level, unfortunately, you have to engage in theater. And this is called the game. Like, the game is deep and it never ends. Like, you never actually get so close to your lady that she truly knows everything about you or just about the circumstances. So, I was like, "Yeah, we just got the 150,000. Like, we we reached our goal. We made it." And so, cool. We're perfect. Now, we just have to make sure that we save money until we we pay this and then we need to like buckle down after we pay it. And then, you know, eventually we'll be able to maybe like go travel again. She's like, "All right, good." And she was locked in for the time that we were grinding to get the 150.
Anyways, I'm cutting up. I had, you know, blow like 70,000 and um we we come back home and she's you know, and I had two apartments in.
