Transits through the 8th house

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel1:02:35

Transcription

So we are back for uh transits tonight and talking about the eighth house. And uh, what comes with that eighth house is always interesting because it's a very complex environment. And within that eighth house, we tend to uh, you know, find potential for great change and uh, sometimes stress. Insight, ah, we're dealing with debt, other people's resources, how we attach to other people, the uh, karma, the consequences that come from our particular attachment styles. We often see that when plans come through the eighth house, so there are financial consequences, consequences to eighth house transits. And so we do tend to see uh, the potential for more pressure or stress or outside events that can be uh, forcing a change, forcing a transformation. Because as humans, we typically do not change unless we have to. There has to be some amount of pain or pressure or a consequence that pushes us in that direction. We don't tend to be uh, willing to, you know, put great efforts into things that we don't have to. It's really not part of us. We're kind of like horses that way. It's a myth that horses always want to be running around great speeds. That is not, not the case.

Um, can you guys excuse me for just one second? It seems like uh, a couple of people did not get the memo here, which has been the worst retrograde period of all my life. One second, guys. I appreciate your patience. Okay, hopefully we'll have another couple people coming in because they got the memo. Um, I'm really thinking that I'll just take the next Mercury retrograde period off completely.

So when we're dealing with the eighth house, it's never going to be a simple transit. Whatever goes through there, it's just because of the nature of that environment. It's, it's something where we're talking about the depths and unseen. And so often things will come to the surface. And some planets uh, have an easier time transiting through the eighth than others. So let's start with the sun. Because the sun is uh, one of the reason for the season, and it only spends about a month in each house. So it's, um, the sun is interesting to watch because we can see the subtle seasons of our own life if we really watch the chances of the sun, if we really pay attention to how certain themes of certain months. Because it's a relatively short amount of time in a year, especially as you get older, a year is a very short amount of time. And within that time, we can watch, we can record. By the time say April comes around to April, it hasn't been such a long period of time where we've forgotten things or forgotten lots of things. So it's a very good way to learn about transits in itself, the sun, because we can really gauge and measure these different cyclical themes throughout the course of the year that will be personal to us depending on where our houses are.

So we're seeking more consultation, um, and advice regarding, um, direction issues and problems, a direction regarding finances, how we can more secure ourselves, uh, more concerned with joint finances and debts during that period of time, repositioning ourselves, focusing on borrowing and shoring up the assets that we have, repairs around the home, things that have to do with taking care of our investments and ensuring things into the future. So it's a rather serious month because we're often turning our attention to what's neglected. Unless we have like a ton of Scorpio in our personality, we may actually be focused on these things, uh, these things more throughout the year than others. But for most of us, when the sun goes through the eighth house, we're looking at what is usually unexamined and what we need to know in order to feel safe or secure. So there's, um, participation with others when it comes to what we may not be totally aware of. So we're looking to advisors. This is a great time to get a tune-up when it comes to counseling, to get away, in a way where we can develop a new tactic. Because sometimes when you get away from the fray of life, you just get a better perspective. So we may come to some insights about our own motivations and some of the things that we're unaware of about ourselves. It could be an insightful month. Sometimes that comes with the experience of having a run-in with somebody or of not having things work out in our favor. Because again, that would be something we classify as a painful or difficult experience, and that would spur us to look inside or to change. But again, humans are lazy. So we tend to wait for some kind of pressure. And this can be a pressurey month where the sun goes through the eighth. So we can discover something that is precious, discover something that is uh, met within us during that period of time. So it's a more reflective month because we do have the sun going through a naturally water house.

Let's talk about the moon. A very short amount of time that the moon will spend in a house, a couple of days. We're very moody and brooding and snappy and often quiet as the moon is going through the eighth house. A lot of people can really tell when the moon is in Scorpio. You hear a lot of comments from people when we know the moon is Scorpio throughout the month. And with the moon in our eighth house, we can have that same kind of experiences. We're not our normal self with the moon going through that uh, just that that stage of our consciousness. That month, we are easily triggered. It's like our nerves and we're on the outside of our skin. Can we have everybody mute? Think somebody's not muted. Not sure. Thanks, guys. Uh, so we are looking for the comforts of the known. We're not particularly sociable because we can't be very moody at this particular time of uh, of our month. Uh, so I've had a few transits of, oh, okay, that's fine. Don't worry about it. I can't hear anything. Um, so I've had a few transits of the moon through my eighth house where I, you know, just felt very much, um, I don't know, it's, it's, it's kind of an indescribable feeling. I've had other people describe this where you just kind of have your inside on the outside, like sort of the inside turned out. So it can be, um, a tense and emotional uh, period of time as the moon is going through the eighth house. Now, it may not be something that stands out like a sore thumb unless we are already having a stressful transit of some other kind. And then the moon going through the eighth house can be a period of time where we can have a dip regarding those stressful issues that we're dealing with. So it is something to take note of if we're already, um, if we're already stressed or we're dealing with something heavy.

When it comes to Mercury going through the eighth house, we are making sense and examining, analyzing things that usually don't make sense to us. This, this is a good period of time, weeks to no months, depending on if you have a retrograde cycle in your eighth house. But we are looking into the unknown or into different parts of our behavior that usually we're quite clueless about. So there's a lot of critical self-examination that happens, and we can make some very, uh, admirable leaps in self-understanding with Mercury going through the eighth house. Because Mercury is curious, and that curiosity is applied to what typically we don't know that we don't know. So we can have some experiences where the old adage, curiosity killed the cat, can occur. But the cat that gets killed is our old structure of things, or our old idea of things, or a version of something that supported our uh, idea, theory of world and self. So it can be a perturbing kind of uh, discovery because, well, that's the nature of eighth house. So, um, we're making sense of these uh, the shadow side. We are really learning further upon the transit of Mercury through the seventh house. All of the, the transits are like that. They, they build upon each other. And as we talk about the individual planet and transits, we're gonna be focusing more on that through the course of next year. So this will be a very long course. So it's a, it's a time when we are finding answers to some rough stuff, rough problems, chronic problems, deep problems. We can come to some solutions because Mercury is the solution. It's uh, the, the answer. In fact, Mercury is so interesting because it isn't the nervous system itself. The nervous system is Uranus as an Aquarius, the 11th house thing. But Mercury is the messages that run along the nervous system. It connects the different parts of things. He's the winged god, so he's uh, the, you know, the message and the quality and type of message that is sent from one organ of consciousness to another. And the nervous system, the state of the nervous system, is is something that we need to pay really good attention to because Mercury can only work if there's proper conduits and pathways for him to do his work. If we have blockages, if we have structural issues, and the structural issues are going to come from Capricorn, from Saturn, that's that's the skeletal system because the nervous system is woven into the skeletal system. So this is why I'm always recommending that when we're overactive or over-reactive or having a strong Mercury or Uranus thing going on in transit, we need to have our nervous system work done. Because uh, getting things right and straight can help us to think better, to think clearly, to reason better, to find solutions to problems better, to be more clear when it comes to our our intake and just the way that our organs are operating between each other. So we can have that cohesive communication throughout the body, and all the organs of consciousness can be able to have their healthy say. So we're learning that kind of insightful information, things about, um, you know, how we operate on the inside when Mercury goes through the eighth house. And we can take that uh, information to the future and do incredible things with it. We can apply that to all different areas of our life because information that we find in the eighth house is something that's very, it turns out to be very common to all of us because we find a sadness, difficulty, stress, pain, things that when we heal and come to know within ourselves, we understand that within somebody else. So our logical understanding can uh, become something that that we can apply to the undercurrent of our life. As it goes through the eighth house, borrowing, negotiation, um, contracts, that can all work well with Mercury going through the eighth house, if we've done our homework. We want to make sure that we aren't involved with a con man, a confidence man, or somebody that doesn't have the proper framework. So a lot of times loans, borrowing, throwing in with someone else financially, that can work very well with Mercury in the eighth house, very, very well. But you just have to make sure that you're doing your background work. It's not a transit that's known for being, you know, regularly swindled, or that is a possibility. It's actually known more for being positive when it comes to assets and gain and contracts and, you know, getting in bed financially with people, or physically, because that also can entail, uh, have been hidden contract. But typically, those kinds of things do work out well with, uh, Mercury going through the eighth house.

Let's talk about Venus going through the eighth house. So our romantic and sexual relationships do undergo a period of intensity. And Venus can be in the eighth house for a period of months. So it is a time to rekindle things if things have gotten a bit stale. A lot of us are going to experience some amount of stress in the relationship, and that's going to contribute to the intensity, to the uh, the potential for intimacy that can develop. So, uh, we're seeing how we relate to each other. We're, we're just understanding our part in things, how our own desires, how our own, our Venus stuff is showing up in the context of our sexual, financial, transformative power relationships. So, uh, if we start a relationship, uh, when Venus is transiting through our eighth house, it does tend to retain that uh, that air of intensity. That tends to be something that is uh, part of the framework of the relationship. Um, so this can be something that is very good. Venus and transiting through the eighth can be very good for borrowing money, for increasing our resources through attaching to another person's resources. The spouse does tend to do better or is bringing in more. So it's more uh, comfortable for us financially than uncomfortable, because we have resources, money, support coming in from sources that are not from ours, not from ours personally. Um, jealousy can be something that we have an insight into when Venus goes through the eighth house. We can see how our own jealousy is triggered, but that's based on where that comes from. It may be operating more heavily in our relationships during the course of that transit than in other months of our life. Uh, so we're getting a look at, um, our attachment things and oftentimes re-evaluating what we are, re-evaluating the type of participation that we are engaging with. Is it, is it too much? Is it too little? Is it, uh, you know, cooperative? So our skills when it comes to the relationships, does that need to be improved? And we may come to see that through some difficult encounters during that particular transit.

Let's talk about Mars. That's an interesting transit, but it goes through the eighth house. Now, Mars going to the seventh house, we talked about that, how that can bring and, um, a remarkable, uh, unusual amount of confrontation. And then we build on that as Mars comes into the eighth house. Because we are still dealing with transits that are in a shadow part of the personality, things that we, we're not completely aware of because they are in the background. They're things that are, um, more hidden from us or that we attribute to other people. So with Mars going through the eighth house, we have conflict with, uh, systems of enforcement, power figures, people that we owe money to, people that we are attached to financially. Um, we're looking at how effective is our confrontation? Is it helping us to really get what we want? And we're adjusting how we try to win because Mars is the fighter within us. So we're, we have an adjustment and a change in tactics. And we can, as Mars goes into the ninth house, build on what we're learning here and become more tactful. So as Mars goes into the tenth house, we really polish that. But we're understanding how rough we might be with, uh, Mars going through the eighth house. And we can be experiencing quite a bit of conflict during this period of time. And we may not see that we are the source of it because of our own behavior, our own belligerence, or what we're subtly putting out or leaking unconsciously and not understanding. Um, so we're learning to see our part in things and how we're coming off is causing a lot of the conflict that we're seeing in our life. So we change how we fight, we change how we win. And oftentimes with Mars going through the eighth house, we might have to ask ourselves, do I want to be in this relationship or do I want to win? And we have to make that decision. Because if we are valuing winning the most, then really, what are we doing there? That is not a cooperative motivation for being in a relationship. So this is not always a good time to mess with other people's money or to borrow money. Oftentimes, we don't get the kinds of loans or the support that we're going out for, we're requesting, because we're not coming off as extremely, uh, vulnerable. There's something a bit prickly about us. And we can be feeling, you know, as Mars goes through the seventh and the eighth, we can be feeling so annoyed by people that by this time, we're just, you know, generally short and expecting, you know, jerks around us. So it could be one of those situations like, okay, I'm gonna go and apply for that loan today to deal with this jerk bank teller and the jerk guy at the bank. And then that's reflected back to us. So we have to realize what our part in the reactive behavior of other people, yes, or in the aggressive reflective behavior of other people is during that period of time.

Let's talk about Jupiter, who usually is awesome to have transiting through any house. Uh, this is when we can receive benefits from other people's money, from legacies, inheritance, other people's resources are something that benefit us personally. And that can be from followers, audiences, uh, creative work that we have put out there. Uh, we may see passive income start to kick in or increase during this period of time. So eighth house figures and institutions approve of us, and they want to be a part of furthering our hopes and our dreams and our vision for our life. So there's quite a lot of support from, uh, banks, that spouses, the people around us who are supporting us. So this can be a very good time to borrow, and we usually do get back what we're asking for. We usually get the kind of funds that we're requesting at this time. Um, it is a period of time where some people can be converted to a new religion or become very, very whipped up into a fervor about their current belief system or their philosophy. A lot of people do though transform into a different belief system with Jupiter going through the eighth house. It's about a year period of time where we can be having our old meanings that we give to things just kind of disintegrate and fall apart. And we can experience a crisis of faith as Jupiter is going through the eighth house. And it may take a while for us to develop a new paradigm, to develop a new theory of world and self, and to, um, uh, come back from the brink. That that can be an upsetting time. It's not gonna be for everybody, every time that Jupiter does go through the eighth house. But it isn't unusual for us to have a serious investigative or nihilistic transit of Jupiter through the eighth during one of our adult, one of the transits that's going through our eighth house in our adult years. So you know, that can be, uh, you know, in our 20s or 30s or 40s, depending on how our particular chart is set up. But it's not an unusual thing to change ideas with, uh, Jupiter going through the eighth house because we scrutinize things. And, um, a lot of times those comforting stories and the meanings that we give to things, we just see deeper than that or beyond that, or it's, it's a new re, it's, it's a new cycle of finding out what might be more true or going beyond than what we, what we knew before. Uh, we are also, what did I put here? Oh, oh, okay. We will experience some changes and stress. But it's interesting, as Jupiter is going through the eighth house, we're often very conscious at the time that we're going through those changes and that stress. We're aware and conscious of how good it is for us. It's like one of those things where you know, we can have something, you know, challenging, but we're like, yeah, I, I get it. I, I, it was for the best. And so we don't have to wait until we look back on it and are able to digest it and then gain perspective. We usually do have that perspective of loss, um, of, uh, the wisdom and the loss as it's occurring, which can actually bring a lot of comfort to that that stressful time. You know, if we, we understand the, the meaning of it and the mechanics of it, and we have perspective about it, it can really, really help us to not dwell and to be able to move on and just to put something in its place. So, uh, Jupiter in the eighth house can actually be really quite awesome for a lot of people, even if we are suffering a bit, he's still providing benefits at that same time.

Let's talk about Saturn. So this is a longer term transit. This could be going on for, uh, two and a half or three years in our house. And these are lessons that we're learning regarding support and other people's resources, depending, uh, the contracts that we have regarding, um, other people's money. Uh, we're learning to keep those contracts. Now, we've learned a lot as Saturn has gone through the seventh house about how to relate to other people better and what is our part in relating. Living up to our obligations has been a big thing as Saturn goes through the seventh house. So we could have received consequences and karma that were very difficult as Saturn goes through the seventh house. A lot of times people go through separation, there's a breakup, all relationships are tested. And we're really examining very closely, what is my part in what is happening here in my life? What is my responsibility? And all of this. So if we have had a relatively easy Saturn seventh house transit, or it was hellish, but we learned from it, and we are starting to rebuild ourselves in a way that's more conscious and more compassionate and more considerate of the people and the current reality around us, then Saturn going through the eighth house could be less stressful. We could, um, experience the building of our security within that eighth house environment during that period of time. The Saturn's in there. But if we are not getting the lesson and if we're still resisting, uh, understanding our part in things, we're still not taking the kinds of responsibility related to the relationships that we agreed to, the kind of contracts that we agreed to, relationship, uh, agreements that that we made. If we're not getting the lesson, then the karma can be quite severe as Saturn goes through the eighth house. So we can experience quite a lot of financial loss. We can experience jerks and people who will come into our life and waste our own resources. So it brings karma for how we have used our power over the past few years, how well we have taken care of our obligations and the people around us. And, um, if we have avoided taking the kind of responsibility that we need to thus far, if we have not paid our debts, and that can be financial debts, and that can be emotional debts, relationship debts, then the avoidance of that is going to be a lot of difficulties. Money and debt has a lot to do with repayment of karma. That is one way that karma expresses itself is through debt and through financial, uh, and resource, uh, stress or poverty. So we need to pay. When, uh, Saturn's going through the eighth house, we need to pay our debts. We need to pay off particularly debts that we incurred seven years earlier, when Saturn was in a position that he's now answering to. But it's, um, it can be a difficult time for a lot of people. It really depends on how they've chosen, how what, how have they matured and the quality of the responsibility they're taking. So we got to pay up, time to pay the piper when it goes through the eighth house. And there may be less resources from partners. There may be less, uh, money coming in, the money that we're used to having. Such, you know, like, uh, if we're, we're in a relationship and say our partner, uh, you know, gets their hours cut, maybe by 30 percent or 50 percent or something like that, we're having to really figure out how to provide for ourselves, how to, uh, fill in that gap, how to, uh, live with less and how to find security in ways that the partner, the partner's income or the partner's resources, or our parents, or people that we depend on, or our children, if they're taking care of us, how to live better and more securely without that that extra income. So it is very advisable that you get yourself prepared to be more financially independent and be prepared to be able to live on less when you see Saturn approaching your eighth house. You can shore yourself up in a way where you do not experience stress related to having less come in, learning how to be more resourceful and stretch what you've got. Put yourself in a position where you're already providing for yourself, whatever may not be coming in through means that you're used to. It doesn't have to be a ruinous transit for for you. For some people, it can be very, it can be very upsetting. But for a lot of us, um, if we paid our debts, if we don't have those dependency issues, if we aren't creating difficult karma through relying on the people around us that may be, I stressed out as a result of that or burdened as a result of us, if we are dealing with all that stuff, then Saturn through the eighth house is going to be much, much less difficult. And it can have us, um, supporting ourselves better and coming out of things, uh, in a better position. I'm sorry, that's my mother, uh, pinging me to play Scrabble with her three times in a row because we have three games going.

All right, so let's talk about Uranus. Large sweeping psychological changes over the course of a Uranus transit through the eighth house. It takes a while. It's gonna be about seven years that he's going through any particular house. It is really interesting to watch somebody go through Uranus eighth house transit because it won't be the entire time that they are struck by lightning, but it will be frequent, unexpected intervals. And I, by frequency, I could, I could maybe once a year, every 18 months, or every few months. It's not predictable. We're unraveling a lot of processes within ourselves and really pulling away from the, the fears, the attachments, a lot of what we were previously driven by. This is a very, in interesting transformative transit, and it will be in there for about seven years. So it's, it's a longer period of time that we are, uh, just coming to a radically different version of ourself. So at the beginning of this transit, well, actually with Uranus crossing the descendant, and then at the end of, uh, Uranus coming through the eighth, you cannot recognize us. It is so deeply moving when it comes to the kind of self-discoveries that we won't make. So a lot of people completely change out of their former belief systems and will completely change their relationships, their relationship patterns over the course of Uranus transiting through the seventh and the eighth. That is a long, longer period of time, about 14 years. But it is a consistent untethering to what was previously normal to us. So at the end of it, we may be shocked. I mean, some people even change political ideas, they'll change, uh, the, the very meanings that they give to things. Their their paradigm can shift so radically during this period of time because their idea of themselves, a lot of the ego center is just shifted and changed. And not so much melted down. It's not a Neptune or Pluto thing. It's more, it's like our insight, it just grows bigger and bigger and bigger to encompass more ideas about ourself in the world. And that insight is something we just can't squeeze it back into the genie bottle. We just cannot do it with Uranus going through these houses. And if we try, that genie will burst that bottle, and there will be hell to pay. There will be shards everywhere. Do not try to cage or tame or stop Uranus. That is never a good idea because the tensions within ourselves, the tensions around other people, within the people around us, they will become explosive. So we can experience neuropathy, we can experience nervous system issues, we can experience reactivity. We don't want to try to contain the electricity. We want to let it flow. It needs to be able to operate. So there's a great deal of adrenaline, electricity that is flowing through us during a seventh house, eighth house transit. Have your nervous system work done as Uranus is going through that eighth house. Make sure that your structure is intact. And our health, our psychological health is very, very important to address with Uranus going through the eighth house. I, we have to be careful about avoiding paying debts with Uranus in the eighth house. This is something that can really get some people into trouble. I, Uranus has a lot to do with the quality of our responsibility. It's just the rewards for the kind of responsibility, uh, that we take. Because it comes after Saturn. So with Uranus, we have to, we have to be operating transparently when it comes to debts, resources, paying things back. If we're not, then we can experience karma, we can experience disruption and the ability to support ourselves. But some people really make incredible gains with Uranus in the eighth house when it comes to supporting themselves. They can really start to, you know, feel more secure. They can get it together. So it really depends on the quality of our responsibility. And, um, Uranus is just so interesting because it's the lemonade to Saturn, the lemon. So Saturn, we have to expend some energy, we have to work hard. But with Uranus, it's where we coast, when we skate, where we fly. And it can be unearned leisure. That's where people around us really get upset, and we experience some very difficult karma that can result in isolation, ostracization, lack of friends, lack of connection. Because Uranus has an intensely selfish side, and that selfishness comes from that inability to mature during that Capricorn stage, that Saturn stage, to really live up, uh, to what it is that we said we were gonna do. And oftentimes to abandon contracts and things that we said we were going to do. If we come to realize that that was an inappropriate type of responsibility that we took. It, it depends on, you know, because not every situation is the same. Sometimes we take on too much, sometimes we're taking on too little. We have to look at it individually. These issues. So Uranus is the rewards for self-control. Now, if we have not earned those rewards, the people around us do not take kindly to that because it's the kind of behavior that pisses people off. It's very immature behavior. It's kind of like if we have a group of people and we say we're all going out as a group to plant baby trees, we're going to go repopulate a forest. There's a group of like 50 volunteers to go out into the forest, repopulate the forest, and everybody's out planting the baby trees and, you know, go out for a few hours and they all come back to get a drink and, you know, have a snack. And there's a Uranus person, in leisure time, Uranus person in the group, say, and they cut out early and they went back to the truck and they're standing there, they're already eating the cookies and drinking the punch by the time everybody gets there. Like, yeah, I got tired. I, I threw in the towel, started to come back and get snacks. And, and it may have even known there was only 50 cookies, but, you know, they got there first, so they're going to help themselves. So that is not going to please the people in the group. And people do tend to avoid, um, those kinds of individuals. There will be less interaction, there will be less conversation, will be less eye contact. So we're discovering that kind of stuff about ourselves with Uranus in the eighth house, where is it that we have a major blind spot about the kind of leisure time that we may not have earned? And if we have difficult aspects from Uranus to the inner planets or to the points, it's going to potentially be a much more painful lesson. So we're paying, as a planet goes through the eighth house, we're paying, and we can be paying for selfishness, if there's something to pay for. So need to look at that.

Let's talk about Neptune going through the eighth house. This will be a very long-term transit. Neptune will be in the eighth house for about 14 years, if you have an even 30 degree house. And we become quite absorbed into the mysteries of ourself, esoterica, astrology, psychology, spirituality, anything that offers us a look into the occult. That means what isn't seen, what can't be seen. The occult does not mean evil, doesn't mean the devil, it means what is hidden. So we look into the mysticism of ourselves. And it can be an extremely insightful transit. It is a very long-term transit. So we aren't going to, you know, have like one zing kind of moment. It's very slow. The erosion of our, uh, former fears, the undercurrent, the un, unknown drives, our hidden motivations, that there's a sort of a slow rising to the surface of those things. It's not a particularly overwhelming transit because of how long it does take. There's a long digestion process. It is not a good transit to borrow money. And that can be difficult because it's a longer term period of time. But if people do get into financial issues or end up getting swindled or taken advantage of, or there's confusion, it is often as Neptune is transiting through the eighth house. And I think all of us, within the course of a lifetime, many of us are going to have some kind of nefarious financial run-in, just because of the nature of human nature. It's very possible that that could be at that time that, uh, Neptune is in your eighth house. It won't transit everybody's eighth house, but, um, it is something that you would want to know if it were occurring. Um, confusion about agreements, confusion about property, confusion about money, confusion about, uh, you know, what was my part, what was your part, what were you gonna pay? There's quite a lot going on in the background psychologically that can't be known, that isn't being seen with Neptune going through the eighth house. And as it does continue to transit through the eighth house, we do tend to, I gain more to grasp, gain more clarity about those things. But, um, yeah, this is something to, to watch for. Um, we can't see other people's frailties or difficulties or hidden motivations as we're signing contracts or getting in bed financially with people or taking advice from financial advisors. And so if we don't have to, uh, engage in those areas of life, or even if we can have somebody else handle that for, that may have a more complete clarity, that can often be helpful. But you have to be careful about who you're turning that over to because right there, that could be the issue. So it's just a transit where we are more focused on loss than gain. And that loss can be enriching because it's the loss of our former, I, you know, difficult motivations, problems, uh, unseen things, personal demons. It's a very spiritual time for a lot of people because they do feel like there can be an atonement and at one moment that happens during that period of time can be a very enlightening transit for people. So, um, yeah, we just want to be very, very careful about committing to concrete things where we can't see all the mechanics during this period of time. Uh, we also want to be careful about joining any cults with Neptune going through the eighth house, or following spiritual leaders that can't possibly know what they claim to know. So, uh, it seems more probable that that people who claim, you know, to have had a deep meditation experience and maybe they, you know, their third eye opened, or they've seen spirits, or those things can seem more plausible to us during this transit. So we have to be very careful about who we are, um, choosing to invest in, who we're spiritually investing in, because we can find out during this course of this transit that our trust and our hope, our faith was misplaced. So we do have to, you know, ask other people's opinions, willing to hear what other people have to say about the leaders and the people that that we're taking advice from, because some of those people could be very insightful. Insightful, not everybody is going to swindle us with Neptune going through the eighth house. There can be very well-motivated people in our life. But we want to be very careful to do our best to see them clearly. Our vetting process isn't always the sharpest with Neptune going through the eighth. And if we can consciously sharpen that by knowing it's not that sharp, then we can keep ourselves out of trouble.

Let's talk about Pluto going through the eighth house. This is his natural home. So a Pluto trans, a Pluto transit through the eighth house is, um, it's kind of a simpler thing. So we are not satisfied with what's on the surface. We want to rip ourselves to pieces to find out what is the, what's at the core, often what is the fly in the ointment. And this could be a long, long time that we are dealing with this. It could be in our eighth house for a decade. So it's not going to be something where, you know, we're spending weeks to months just really focused like a Pluto transit to a planet. But it's more, uh, an era of time during our life where we are not satisfied with things as they are, and we are willing to have some, uh, have some painful moments as we look a bit deeper into the abyss. And that is going to be few and far between those times with the Pluto transit in the eighth house because we can have, um, you know, an insight. Sometimes it can take weeks to months to years to digest, then we can have another one, and that can send us down another rabbit hole. It is a period in our life where we are digging, and we can be much more suspicious. It can be a period of our life for some people, it could be quite a long period where they can be very, very drawn to conspiracies, conspiratorial thinking, or things like the, you know, crypto creatures like the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot, have, uh, just a real fascination with what might be there or what is mysterious or what can kind of be seen but not really. And, and really, really believe heavily in those things during that period of time. So there's, uh, really focus on uncovering and exposure during, uh, Pluto transit through the eighth house. Um, so we can have a lot of, uh, insight in the end, when it comes to self and society. That's something we get out of a Pluto transit through the eighth house is understanding what are some of the undercurrents in society, maybe having some, uh, some added context for why some of the people around us, you know, that we don't know, other tiers of society, other classes, other races, why their experience is the way that it is, how things might be different from, you know, from our experience. So more insight into the workings, the mechanics of the underbelly of society and of what drives us materially as a human animal, a kind of selfishness that can come from that as well. So we can have some insights into our larger humanity as Pluto transits through that eighth house.

So let me pick up, uh, if you have any more questions here. Oh, Tanya. Hmm. So natal semi-sextile, that does, uh, represent a point, a point of inertia. We have to push forward. And, uh, sometimes a significant transit will make that happen. So, um, I would keep your vision in mind because that vision, even when we have months or years in our life where we feel like we aren't getting what we're looking for, maybe there's circumstances and conditions that are blocking us. If, but if we can keep that vision, if we can keep nurturing that vision, that dream, that hope that we have, that keeps a human going because we are so abstract. We need things that we can hope for. And, uh, trines, trines are something that set us straight when it comes to refueling that optimism that we need. So it sounds like you have some good things to look forward to. Does anybody else have any questions or any comments or anything to add? You guys are an exceptionally quiet bunch tonight. Uh, so let's, uh, end there for tonight. Uh, we'll be back back next week, and I think we'll probably be able to get through the ninth and the tenth, maybe. Um, we'll get through the ninth, and then we'll see. The tenth house might require its own lesson because it is an angular house, and angular houses can be a little bit more complex. Uh, oh, yes, Neptune through the eighth. Tanya, I hear ya. I'm gonna have that in about three years. I'm looking to buy my house first and secure the loan first before we go into that because it will be something where I am entering into a joint thing with my family because we're going to have a family compound that we're building. So that's why transits can help us to time things. It can help us to know, okay, what kind of, uh, psychological framework or issues or circumstances, conditions am I going to be dealing with down the road here? And we can position ourselves, sometimes make choices, certain moves that can help us to just have a better time of things.
