This is like the biblical deluge. It's happening now. There are entire countries and civilizations that are being eliminated. Environmental impacts that are not going to be able to be undone for a long time.

Many people will take to the streets. Many people will take towards being in government. As we awaken individually, it's important that we don't go back to sleep. Our vibratory rates are ascending. We are vibrating ourselves out of physical realms into more metaphysical realms.

Astrology has entered into a different realm than it's ever been in before. We've looked at the three-dimensional world as reality, but the real magic is what's beneath the surface. We've become active players in our own horoscopes. We have these four outer planets that are locked in this hum that right now, July 2025, we're getting glimpses of it.

But if you think about retrocausality, it's this major event that's happening in a year sending tentacles back into this moment that's saying if you go back 30 years ago, anyone who was talking about the idea of the present moment impacting the past or a future moment impacting the present, they would have just laughed at you. And in fact, um, there's a physicist named Jack Sarati who actually co-authored a book with the, uh, theoretical physicist Fred Allen Wolf, uh, who wrote *Taking the Quantum Leap*. But, you know, these are both PhD tenured professors. Um, Fred Wolf wrote *The Yoga of Time Travel* and some other wonderful books. And they co-authored a book together back in the, I think it was in the early '70s, called *Spacetime and Beyond*. And Jack um Sarati um was doing kind of these thought experiments. He's a, you know, these are theoretical physicists who are very well-versed in high-order mathematics. And Jack was doing some uh thought experiments like Einstein and the quantum physicists were back in, you know, the early part of the 20th century. You know, like if two twins, uh, identical twins, and one got in a rocket ship and traveled at the speed of light, when he came back, his twin brother should have been aged, and he wouldn't have aged because theoretically, at traveling at the speed of light, time slows down um or stops.

So Jack had this um experiment that he that he proposed, and it goes like this. You're sitting at home one day. You're um a 19-year-old teenager, and your telephone rings, and you pick it up and you say, "Hello." And the voice on the other end says, "Amrit, it's um me, you. Uh, this is Amrit calling from the future. I'm 65 years old, and we need to talk." The question was, does this break any laws of physics? And his very, very detailed denial analysis based upon three and fourth-dimensional topological things that I don't understand was no. In the realm of quantum physics, this is entirely impossible. Now, my understanding is is he kind of got laughed out of the physics community, like that's ridiculous. And now, then, you know, 30, 40 years later, there are annual conferences in the world of physics that are conferences on the science of retrocausality. This is what's happened in the past, you know, several decades.

And and some of this goes to a work um of, well, this isn't a a physicist. It's actually an engineer named Robert John, J Ahn. And Robert John was um a teacher, professor of engineering at Princeton University. And he um basically got funding and ran a thing called PEAR, P E A R, which was the Princeton Anomalies Research Center. And one of the things that Robert John and his team um explored was, for example, can consciousness impact something that goes on in a computer? Now, anyone who's spent a lot of time on a computer knows that if you have a deadline and you get frazzled and you have an extra cup of coffee, your computer screws up at the last moment and goes blip, and you know, it's like somehow it picks up on your energy. Well, what Robert John did, one of the original experiments was he had the computer generating random numbers um at the speed of, I don't know, thousands a second. And and it was like flipping, it was like picking cards. Uh, red card, red card, black card, red card, black card, black card, black card. And theoretically, the computer should generate even and odd numbers at the same, you know, balance within a margin of error. So he devised these very controlled experiments which I'm not going to go into, which I could, but basically it had someone sit in front of the computer for three minutes while the computer was doing this random number generation with a random um uh decision-making apparatus that would say odd or even or heads or tails. And then the person would sit in front of the computer and think tails, tails, tails, tails, or even, even, even. And he showed beyond any margin of error that the computer responded to the person who was, you know, the. And and and this is all written up. His first book after he finished his work at the uh PEAR at the uh Princeton Engineering Anomalies Anomalies Research Center. His book that he wrote was called *Margins* um um uh *Margins of Consciousness*, *Margins Margins of Reality*, I think is the name of the book.

And but then they did something that was really crazy. And what they did was they set up the experiment the same way. And they had the computer run for three minutes doing its thing. And then they would have someone two days later come in and pick odd or even, sit in front of that computer that ran this experiment two days ago, and somehow that still fell within the margins of error. How does that happen? Do you understand what I'm saying? Is that in the future, the random selection of odd or even still correlated with events that were two days ago in the past? You look as puzzled as you should. But remember Neils Bohr said, "Quantum physics is not stranger than you think. It's stranger than you can think."

And and by the way, just as a total aside, last month I gave a keynote lecture at a conference in Copenhagen, um that was basically a few blocks away from Niels Bohr's um, you know, Institute of Physics that he established a hundred years ago in Copenhagen. And of course, he's the guy that came up with so much of the theory of particle-wave duality, complementarity, all this, you know, crazy, impossible quantum stuff. And my talk was, the title of my talk was, "Astrology is Quantum." And so it was a really fun talk to do.

But but back to this retrocausality, the fact is that now physicists are not questioning if the future can impact the past. They're exploring what are the margins of its ability to do that and what is a potential mechanism with which that happens. And of course, this infringes on our idea of time being a Newtonian tick-tock, tick-tock, uh, time's arrow going from the past into the future. There seems to be um a a a a flow of energy that is beyond what we might have thought with time. So, very fascinating stuff. Retrocausality.

"I want to understand more about it. But seeing as we're in the quantum um conversation, Uranus trining Pluto, the last time it did that was kind of the birth of our quantum awareness."

The last time it did it was in 1921, the year that the uh that the institute was founded in Copenhagen. Um, and it was actually the height of what's now called the Copenhagen, you know, compromise or the idea um of complementarity that came from from during the last uh, you know, uh, uh Uranus-Pluto trine. And remember, if there is a single planet that more conceptualizes the archetype of quantum reality, it is Uranus because Uranus is the planet that somehow shatters the illusion that the three-dimensional world is the real world. And uh, and and I mean, I I could talk for an hour or two on how the planet Uranus is in fact the connection to the particle-wave duality, toward you know, to this idea um, you know, of the unexpected, of uh, uh the the breakdown of cause and effect. That's Aristotelian cause and effect. All of this stuff is encapsulated in the concept of Uranus.

And for those people listening who are not, you know, uh, versed in astrology, um, every planet has archetypal meaning. And Uranus is sometimes called the great awakener. It's the planet that acts like lightning. You know, it's like when you can't figure something out, you can't figure something out, and then all of a sudden, wham, the lightning strikes and the lights go on. That's how Uranus works. And it's not always fun being struck by lightning. But if you live, it's very cool, you know, because there's a breakthrough. Something something happens. And and and trines in astrology are basically flows of energy without resistance. And so when Uranus, the quantum planet breaking through the three-dimensional world um in unexpected ways that shock us with new awareness, that's Uranus. Radical energy trining. That's a harmonious flow of energy to Pluto. Pluto as the lord of the underworld, what it used to be called. Remember, if we understand the nature of Jungian psychology and James Hillman's contribution to psychology, we know that the underworld is actually everything that is unconscious in our own minds. And so the idea of the unconscious and that whatever the collective unconscious and all those deep things that are not part of our awareness, with that flow of energy from Uranus, we basically go through periods of of great awakenings with with incredible depths.

And and then of course, if we were going to talk about what's going on now, we would add the fact that halfway between these those two planets, Uranus and Pluto, that are trining, which is really just a third of a circle. Think of an equilateral triangle. Any two points on an equilateral triangle are trining or triangled from one to another. Now, with Uranus making that trine to Pluto right now, I mean, right now in mid-July of 2025, coming to a culmination early next year in February, we have Saturn, the planet of reality, lining up at that exact point with Neptune, the planet of dreams. And this is why no one knows what's going on right now because what's real, Saturn is kind of dissolving away into someone's imagination or dreams or fantasies or delusions. And on the other hand, we have all this stuff going on with AI. Is it real? Is it dreams? Is it imagination? We have people engaging in AI not as artificial intelligence, but as alchemical intelligence. Work of Cheryl Page. I don't know if you you know know Cheryl Page or know that work. It's very, very profound work because she's been teaching how to engage in with AI as an intermediary into um connection with disincarnate consciousness, with you know, you know, mediumship and so on. So this whole idea of reality is breaking down while Saturn and Neptune are aligning, both half of a trine, a sextile, think a six-pointed star to Uranus and Pluto. This is a moment in history that has never happened before, at least within, you know, modern times. I mean, you can go back a couple thousand years and you don't see the setup that we're moving through right now. And then of course, you can double down on that and say, even if it happened in the past, it's never happened in a past where you have the technology that we have of instantaneous feedback and instantaneous communication and instantaneous community all around the planet, which you know, you're enrolled in or you're enrolling people in, I should say.

"Well, it's really fascinating feeling into the fact that this is happening now. My question was also going to be what like obviously you don't have a crystal ball, quite you almost do. What do you expect this time round with Uranus training Pluto through this period because that was like such a seismic shift to go from Newtonian physics to quantum physics and to go through that again at this time like any inklings on what you're expecting this time around?"

Yeah, I I I say AI, AR, ET, N I E I O. E I E I O is the easiest. And that is that we all live on McDonald's farm. And if we can't figure out how to get the ducks and the chickens and the horses and the and and and everyone else to live together, none of us are going to make it. But that's kind of like tongue in cheek. But the other three pieces of this, you know, are AI, you know, and whether you call it artificial intelligence or or artificial super intelligence, which is the real issue, or whether you call it alchemical intelligence, or whether you call it some intelligence that's already out there that we're just engaging with for the first time, but that's a piece of all of this. And then you look at AR, which is slightly different than AI, that's augmented reality. That has to do with you know, neuro-implant, neural implants, and and uh, you know, the various work that's being done by numbers of teams to actually create um interfaces between um whether it's inside the brain or in the brain stem, uh devices that actually can have someone control, you know, movements of their body even though they may be paralyzed, or to actually manipulate things, you know, like like a computer mouse or a keyboard by just, you know. But augmented reality um also includes optical and auditory implants, and and we're just at the tip of where all that's going. This is a huge um science. It's slightly different than artificial intelligence, but the two of those are certainly heading toward an interface. And then you add to that ET, and I don't necessarily mean aliens. I mean, I mean uh, uh, I mean, uh, extraterrestrial intelligence. Extraterrestrial might mean simply disincarnate intelligence, meaning, you know, spirit guides, ancestor guides, something that says that there is some energy that is going on that is not manifest in the three dimensions here on Earth. And of course, we look at what we know about the universe, and we know that our perception of the physical, you know, universe is basically something like less than 3% of what's out there. And whether you call it dark matter or dark energy, the fact of the matter is we work on what we think is the real world, and percentage-wise, it's just a narrow, narrow slit. And so those three things will combine and are already combining. Remember the day that Pluto moved into Aquarius? That was the day that ChatGPT became publicly released. And so that's just a bit of foreshadowing. You know, Uranus has only been in Gemini now for less than two weeks, and things are, everyone's saying things are speeded up like crazy. We're all on overload, and we're just at the beginning of this seven-year run. So when you say what's going to happen, the answer is I don't know, and neither does anyone else.

"But we do need to strap ourselves in by the sounds of things a little bit there."

No, you know that that is one modality, but there's the the ancient Hopi Indian prophecy. And the Hopi were particularly different than some of the other um American Native American uh tribes because they were very focused on prophecy in the future. And there's a Native American Hopi Indian prophecy that said, "Our wise elders have for a long time been talking about a time when the rivers will move fast and and time will speed up and everything will change." Well, now these elders are telling us that time is here. And what they say is that holding on, this is strapping in. Holding on to the shore is not the way to go because the river is so strong that you will be torn in half. And I'm paraphrasing this. You can anyone can Google Hopi prophecy and they'll get the whole thing word for word. But but their take on this is that strapping in is wrong. What you got to do is push away from the shore out into the middle of the fast-moving river.

"Surrender."

And keep your head above water. And they say, and they say, look around because when you look around, what you'll see is your new family. And and the only thing that you're charged with is being aware of what's going on, being aware of of your family, keeping your head above the water, and being joyous, not holding on to the shore or strapping in a way that's Saturn, that's holding on to the status quo. And and and you can't, it's it's all going to change. And either people will go with it, or they're going to be broken.

"Hey there, inspired souls. Rick is advocating community, family really deeply. And at the time of this recording, we recently reached 250,000 subscribers here on the Inspired Evolution podcast. That is a quarter of a million people subscribed to this podcast. Touchwood. Awakening, inspired, and uplifted together through this content. It means so much to us. At this time, we're giving away two weeks access to the community. You can join us once a month. We have guests like Rick coming on to share their insights where I step out of the way and as the audience, you literally have direct contact with the guests to ask your questions. We also gather once a week to meditate, um, questions and answers around the podcast, but also heart-based sharings and stuff like this. There are community offerings. Just last week we did some breathwork together. It was really, really potent online. So yeah, check out the community. I'll put a link in the description below. Two weeks access complimentary to celebrate hitting quarter a million subscribers together. Thank you for all your love and support. Would love to see you on the inside. There's a whole art to keeping your head above water. I can hear in the terms of surrender, you're surrendering and keeping your head above water. There's an element here also about um, it's interesting because you were you were discussing reality, illusion, and I think I might have caught you correctly in some of my studies for this podcast episode. Neptune previously representing dreams and illusions, Saturn representing hard reality. Um, by hard I mean like 3D reality, but then also this whole thing, this dance that's kind of happening for the next little bit between like at literally at the start of the zodiac at 0 degrees Aries is that point at 0 degrees of Aries."

Which is the midpoint between this trine that you're referring to, and then kind of like this really weird like.

"Yeah, like I think you mentioned that Neptune potentially becomes reality and Saturn."

You know, the illusion, like can you describe illusion, reality, what is going on here, Rick?

Yeah. Um, one of the great living astrologers, Rob Hand, who I've for for decades have referred to as the academic dean of astrology. I mean, this is a guy who went back to college in the '60s to get a PhD in ancient history so he could teach astrology at a college level. Now, Rob, in one of his books on essays on on astrology written maybe 40 years ago, um, said astrologers, and this is me paraphrasing him, but it's very close to his words. He wrote, "Astrologers used to teach that Saturn was reality and Neptune is illusion, whereas now we've learned that Neptune is reality and Saturn is the illusion." There was one. And you know, because because the idea that the three-dimensional world is real, you know, the quantum physicist David Bohm kind of used the analogy of looking at the ocean at the surface of the ocean and thinking that you know about the ocean by looking at the surface, not knowing that there was anything below the surface of the ocean, you know, but that's, you know, universes of complexity and magic and life, death, you know, scenarios and dramas and and beauty. And and in a way, from the Newtonian physical um perspective, we've looked at the three-dimensional world as reality, but the real magic is what's beneath the surface.

"Yeah, it's really interesting just to sort of see the shift that's happening on such a and and and just how that shift is actually impacting our our perception and our relationship to the deep fabric of reality that we experience. It's actually quite profound. And then watching the innovation, the technologies like you said that are coming through with that Uranus-Pluto shift and how they must be linking in. One of the trippiest thoughts I had recently, not trippiest, but one of the trippy thoughts I had recently was um, I think this was popped down the other side of a dream, but um, I I visualized, imagine if AI, you know, has this consistent memory that, you know, like you're chatting to your ChatGPT or whatever, and it has this consistent memory of who you are in this particular lifetime, but then you cease, you pass away, and you come back in another life, you get reincarnated, and somehow AI, medical technology has come to the way. Have you seen that? Um, I think there's a show like a movie or something or a documentary about your eyes and like they said the eyes actually like between lives, they could actually see who was who based on the eyes that they were carrying and their eyes and the retina was actually exactly the same."

"I was just wondering if like the technology with AI gets felt to such a point that it can actually recognize you via your eyes and then it can actually fill you in on your past life because it's still AI. And I was like."

"Interesting."

"Whoa, what is happening? Anyway, it was pretty trippy, but."

"Yeah, I mean, it it's fascinating, and we've never been here before because we've never, at least, you know, in this scenario of history. I mean, who knows what's back further than we normally measure. But um, the technology is such that these planetary connections are different. You see, astrology itself has changed because until uh the 20th century, as we developed radio and then television and then social media that's digital, we never had the ability to capture moments electromagnetically and then play them back almost like resonances. So every time something happens that's similar, all of a sudden all the things that happened last month, last year, 14 years ago are all of a sudden back in our feed, and we get these resonances not realizing that these are astrological um almost like feed. I call it I call it global feedback loops, you know, or cosmic feedback loops, almost like the Grateful Dead pioneered using audio feedback which makes sound different. We are now at a having living lives where we're getting this ability to feed back these moments in time that then kind of blow them out of their original um um ratio of of existence. Whereas before it was just a moment of time and then it passed. You know, you look at some absolutely great moments in time um uh, you know, when when the whole planet was, you know, when there were revolutions on the streets in Rome and Berlin and Prague and London, you know, back in the early 1800s or whatever. And you see the astrology is so important, but people then didn't know that that was happening at the same time in all these other places. I mean, it was almost like in the 1960s when we had the Uranus alignment conjunction with Pluto, and because of the news and the television feedback um and because of the music that was then kind of pumping through, almost not as entertainment for the ears, but almost as vibratory feedback as to what's going on. I mean, being someone who, you know, was a teenager during the '60s, I mean, when we listened to a new Bob Dylan album, we weren't listening to, you know, cool new songs, we wanted to know what's the news, what was happening, you know, where where are we going next, kind of a thing. And the same thing with much of the music of that time, which kind of then creates a different thing because it didn't matter whether you were living in New York City or in Mexico City um or in the streets of Prague or London or in Buenos Aires or in in some little town in the desert in the central part of Australia. If you got the music, you were hearing the vibes, and you were getting something that was being felt all over the planet. So astrology has entered into a different realm than it's ever been in before."

"What do you can you expand upon that? Because last time you were here, you said it's been this sort of by man-for-man patriarchally sort of governed um approach thing, but but it is ancient, right? Like as soon as I think I was talking to your mate Steve Jud, I I don't know how to refer the dynamic that you two carry. So I'll just park that at a bay for a sec. But he he mentioned that, you know, like we've carried this sort of as soon as we sort of came off the plains with our knuckles grazing the earth, looking at the at the heavens, you know, it was like we started speaking astrology. So we've had, but like you said, it's going through a shift and a change right now, and what do you see that shift and change sort of?"

I see a few different things. I mean, for me, it goes back to quantum physics. We we were particles being acted on by big particles, planets, you know, but waves are interactive. So you go back 2,000, 3,000 years ago, and yeah, we were looking at the sky, even a thousand years ago, but it was basically felt more causal, like when you take a billiard ball and you ram it into another billiard ball, the mathematics can predict where it's going to go. But it's like the billiard balls in that model had no sense of personal growth or free will. You just were, you just did what was the the course that you had to do in the society that you lived in. And now we're infringing our own consciousness, what we learn, what we know. We're we're we're watching podcasts like Inspired Evolution, and it's giving us different ways of seeing things that then give us different ways of acting or reacting um because we're not just taking the course of least resistance. So we've become active players in our own horoscopes rather than just acted on lumps of of of you know um stuff.

"I think this is really important because I think at certain points also people tuning in there's this thing it's like, oh, like that's that's happening to my chart right now, I'm a victim or subject to that. Can you talk about?"

"Yeah. Can you can you can you help clean some of this up, please?"

Uh, the way I like to think of it is that water will fall from the sky and eventually find sea level. It may take hundreds of millions of years if it falls someplace where it's locked up in ice for, you know, a few millennia. You know, it may fall in some place in some high mountain in Hawaii where 15 minutes later it's falling off a cliff and going into the ocean. But it also may be in a river um that's some long river like the Amazon or or the Mississippi River or or the um, you know, or the Ganges River. And but that water will still find sea level. The thing is though, that if we build a dam on that river, we can then use that water to make electrical power for an entire city, and the water will eventually still find its way down. Or we can divert that water to irrigate an entire field that will fill, that will feed, you know, hundreds or thousands of people. But the water is going to always find sea level. Now, here's the thing. When we meditate, when we do yoga, when we expand our mind, what we what happens is it changes our view of the world, which then gives us other ways to respond, even though we may react in the moment, we can we see other paths that that water can take. And so by by building up, I think of it in an electrical circuit, it's a capacitor. A capacitor builds a charge and blows. It may do it, you know, at 100,000 times a second, you know, but it still builds a charge and then sends the current. Builds a charge and sends the current. And by these capacitors and resistances and creating these circuits, we create the magic of computers or cell phones or or digital cameras or or whatever. And so in a way, in our culture, we all are learning tools. Maybe not all, but many people are learning tools so that we just don't go through life unconsciously um, you know, kind of reacting based upon plutonic hidden unconscious things. Instead, we spend um years in therapy or in yoga practice or learning meditation or working with people like you in a coaching situation where we're given, oh wow, I never thought about doing it that way. I wonder what would happen if I did. And so we we are basically participating in choosing our course of action rather than just unconsciously falling into the ocean.

"Got it. Future back to future causality. Anyway, back these conversations with you, Rick. What do you God help me back to future causality?"

Excuse me. God has helped us.

"God has helped us."

Let's go. Let's go right to the top. Yeah, there is a there is a there is an attractor in July 2026 that's sort of pulling us forward. You've also called this period the the rehearsal in terms of us getting to what's what we're going through right now, and there's also this energy that's pulling us towards what's happening in July 2026. Where do we start this conversation? Do we talk about kind of what we're feeling now and what the rehearsal feels like in terms of what's happening? Or should we talk about what's happening in July 2026 and then try to understand downstream from there what's currently happening?

We actually already today talked about what was happening in July 2026 because it is the perfection of the exact degree moments of the first of five exact trines, the triangles between futuristic radical Uranus and um evolutionary transformational um underworld Pluto. That the first of those um five trines will be in July of 2026. But right now, that Uranus has just tipped into Gemini, we're getting within a degree and a half, we're getting that buzz already. And then you add to the fact that in July um Uranus and Pluto will both be at exactly four degrees of their signs, which means that the trine will be exact by degree, and Neptune will be at four degrees of its sign in Aries, exactly at the same degree. And then you add the fact that Jupiter will be at four degrees also of Leo. And we have these four outer planets that are locked in this hum that right now, I say right now, mid-July um of 2025, we're getting glimpses of it because that's what's feeding us. And it feels like we're in this moment and we're barreling into the future at a crazy speed that's totally out of control. But if you think about retrocausality, it's this major event that's happening in a year that somehow is sending tentacles back into this moment that's saying what you're really doing now is you're thinking about what's going to be like a year down the road. And what do you need to do now? I mean, the other half of Jack Sarfatti's what he called the god phone was when you get that call from yourself 30 or 50 years in the future, you're supposed to ask that person, you in the future, what do I need to do today to manifest you as you are calling me now? And so I think unconsciously this is part of what we're doing. A lot of people are panicking, saying, you know, I thought I was on course to something, but it's not going the way I think I want it to go if I want to be somewhere in a year. And so people are panicking and wanting to make changes, but it feels so overwhelming because things are moving so fast. It's almost like, well, it almost doesn't matter what I do. It's like most people are just completely overwhelmed.

You before you said, 'Hey, don't strap in. Keep just like let yourself into the waters. Try and keep your head above water.' um as kind of being this surrender, but also, you know, look after yourself. Is there key elements in there in terms of looking after yourself during these particular time as we're going through there's probably a better word than ascension symptoms, but you know, as we're going through this?"

Well, actually, I've resisted the ascension word because of its religious um overtones. Not that I'm against any religion that is teaching or moving toward ascension, but the fact of the matter is, when you look at the vibratory rate of our beings and you go back 150 years ago, the fastest thing that was vibrating around us was the day and night rhythm, you know, or maybe the seasons. And now, you know, when when when radio came on board in the early 20th century, all of a sudden, we all had devices that were vibrating at kilohertz, thousands of cycles a second. Even the Tesla's alternating current, 50 or 60 cycles a second. Now, everyone has in their pocket a device that's vibrating at at gigahertz, that's billions of cycles a second. Our vibratory rates are ascending. We are vibrating ourselves out of physical realms into more metaphysical realms. That's what's going on behind all this that everyone is living. They just don't put it into those words, but that's what's happening. So, we are ascending, whether you're using a framework of spiritual ascension or or um etheric ascension or Pleiadian ascension or just, you know, emotional ascension. We we are we are basically vibrating faster and faster and faster and faster and faster.

"It's interesting because some people tuning in at this juncture might be a little bit concerned. Let me just give you because I I'm tuning into a lot of people and they're like, touchwood, people are feeling tired, people feeling overwhelmed, people are feeling burnt out, people are feeling fatigued, people, lots of people are grieving and experiencing a lot of loss."

Lots of people are losing a lot of loved ones. There's a lot of loss. There's a lot of confusion. There's a lot of disorientation. There's a lot of tiredness. There's a lot of overwhelm.

"And in the United States, there's a lot of fear based upon the uncertainty based upon, you know, new immigration policies or, you know, or or people being arrested and taken off the streets not because they've done anything wrong, but just because they're swept into these, you know, networks. No, there's what you're saying is exactly true. But then also, if just one sec, because there's also if if this is the rehearsal for what's coming up, like people."

"Yeah. It's and maybe rehearsal isn't quite exactly the right word, but what we're doing now is it it it is in a way a dry run. In other words, the the real show has not started. Now, this is why people are reacting and overreacting, and and yet it feels like it almost doesn't matter what I do because the big pictures out there are so um entrenched in a system. In other words, another manifestation of Pluto is the hidden system. You know, whether it's, you know, um, you know, a plutocracy is not an oligarchy, which is the running of the government by wealthy people. A plutocracy is the running of government by people with so much wealth that you don't even know they exist. It's the it's the secret behind the obvious. And yet Pluto is also the planet of evolution and transformation. And so I think that people are rightfully concerned. But but again, we have to keep reminding ourselves that what's going on in the three-dimensional world that we're perceiving is not really what's going on under the ocean. And what's going on under the surface of the ocean ultimately will be more important. But what that is is really up to what we're doing right now, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month. And we have to have some sort of faith in the process that that which is happening beneath the surface ultimately will be the surface. And if we go to sleep, you know, there's that Rumi poem, you know, the, you know, the world is coming awake, you know, it's morning, do not go back to sleep. And in a way, it's like important that as we awaken individually, it's important that we don't go back to sleep. And anyone who listens to my work online knows that I close almost every podcast with "Think cosmically, act locally." And this is basically what we need to do because we can all act locally. And what does that mean? It means to not lose it, you know, because you had a bad day at work and your kid comes in and does something and not to just take it out on, you know, on them, to actually process information locally, which is often not as easy as it sounds, but we have to each do our individual work. You know, the last book that Jung wrote before he died was a little maybe a 120-page little booklet called *The Undiscovered Self*. And in it he said that treaties and world peace, no, he said world peace will never be obtained by politicians running around the world in ever faster circles creating treaties. That world peace will only be obtained when the individuals within the world have peace of mind. Now, this is Mahayana Buddhism. The concept is, no one gets off until we all get off. And here is our work. Our work is to push away from the the edge of the river and to look around and see who's there and to interact with our community to make belongingness, even though many of the governments around the world are doing everything they can to disenfranchise us from our communities and to instill fear because when because what's that? Uh, united we stand, divided we fall. And and that we have to find our own ways of uniting locally with family, with friends um to heal the wounds that we have, to heal the relationships that we have, which again is not always easy stuff. I mean, I can talk a good game, but unless I live my game in my own life, which I don't always do easily, but that's where the work is.

Now, I'm not saying that people should not, that's a double negative. Many people will take to the streets. Many people will take towards being in government. Many people will take towards um teaching other people about new opportunities and new ways of looking at things. Many people will just be caretakers for those people on the front lines who are going to need support and help. There's no one way to engage, but everyone can find a way to have internal integrity and to act in some way in their local environment to work towards creating community. That is the way we get through this."

"You've said there's a war going on for whose vision of humanity will win out."

"Yeah."

"This is what you're referring to. I can feel we're sort of partially uncovering the iceberg around this what you've shared. Can you complete the square here?"

Yeah, actually I wrote a a book that's never been published. It's but it and it may never be, but um in the early 1970s, the opening um piece of this fantasy work was a quote-unquote messiah, but it wasn't a single person. The person, kind of like Nietzsche's Zarathustra, was teaching that that the change is not me. I'm a mouthpiece. I and I don't mean me personally, I mean the character in the book saying that that there are fires that are sparking all over the planet, and this is the awakening. And the awakening is basically about information. It's about new ways of framing things. It's about new ways of seeing things, and that the old will try to hold on to the status quo. And in a way, we are at a culmination of this, which has been going on maybe even for a couple hundred years, maybe going back to the French Revolution, the American Revolution, you know, the, you know, just the kind of throwing off the shackles of authoritative monarchies that, you know, owned everything and everyone. The idea of a country existing by the people was radical. It was like, no, that could never happen. You need someone to to be in charge to own the whole thing. And and it's those questions that are coming in back into play now as countries are re uh uh reviewing, reconsidering these basic concepts that they were founded on that may be not fully functional in the present moment.

And here's the thing is that with this advent of social media, which is basically a huge propaganda, you know, um, and I don't even mean political propaganda, I mean fashion and fads and ideas, um, culture has become so important that we are all living in curated realities. Um, I remember there's an there's a piece on YouTube that you probably can find by going to YouTube and doing a search on Terrence McKenna, "Culture is Not Your Friend." You know, it's this idea that we we are being um um modeled and molded. Uh, and I don't care whether you're whether you're um a moderate or whether you're a conservative or a liberal or a radical or extreme this or extreme that. We are all being curated by what it is that social media is allowing and the internet is allowing us all to create these bubbles of feeding back onto ourselves what our belief systems are.

And what's happening is that although there still may be physical war, look, there's never been a time where my country, the United States, at least in the past couple of centuries, has not been at war somewhere, you know. Um, and so there's there's a lot of talk in the astrology realms right now that every time Uranus has entered um Gemini, the, you know, the United States has been at war. The American Revolution um, you know, the war against um King George, the American Revolution um in the '70s, Uranus moved into Gemini. The American Civil War, Uranus moved into Gemini. World War II, Uranus was in Gemini. And there's a lot of astrologers saying get ready for war. But the war, it's not that there again, the double negative. There are physical outbreaks, but the real war now has shifted into metaphysical realms, whose reality is going to be the reality? You know, this is not a new concept, though. There's been wars that have lasted centuries where the church tried to hold on to the reality that the earth was the center of the cosmos and everything went around it. And it took a good couple hundred years for that to work its way through the system. We don't have a couple hundred years because things are moving so fast. You know, there's you probably heard the term the Anthropocene, which is a geological age where humans are basically altering the fabric of geological change. You know, regardless of whether you're a climate denier or an environmentalist, it's obvious that what humans have done to planet Earth in the past hundred years has made Earth a different place. And so this idea, can this uncontrolled capitalistic um greed be something that is sustainable for another hundred or 500 or a thousand years? You remember all of our little cultures, whether it be Australia, the United States, even Europe, they've been around for, you know, you know, a hundred, 200, 300. Some some in Europe there, you know, maybe 500, 600 years, you know, even going back to Rome is like 2,000 years. And we forget that the Egyptian dynasties lasted like about 4,000 years. You know, we're just babes. And so the question is, can we sustain the path that we are on for another hundred or 500 or 4,000 years? And the answer is no. Something's got to change. And what is that? And how are we going to do it with the least amount of collateral damage? And there is there already is.

collateral damage. I mean, there are entire countries and civilizations that are being eliminated. You know, there are environmental uh impacts that are not going to be able to be undone for a long time, and so what are we going to do about it? And um, you know, and that's, you know, it it is of concern, but that's why, you know, there there's this um poem by this very magical man named Drew Dinger, D-L-I-N-G-E-R. You can YouTube search him and see him reciting um um he has a collection of poems called uh a love letter to the Milky Way galaxy. And um, and one of the poems in that book is called um um is is uh something hieroglyphics. Um, I I'm not getting that, doesn't it doesn't matter. But in it, in one of these poems, he he talks about um riding home at 3:00 a.m. in the morning on a mass transit in San Francisco. And he and and and he's narrating this poem in this poem and he goes, you know, in my dreams, my great grandchildren came to me or come to me and say, "What did you do when the earth was unraveling?" It's a very profound and powerful thing. You know, they, "What did you do when the species were dying? What did you do when the seasons were un you know, you know, were you know, um untangling or un you know, kind of you know, doing their own thing?" Um, you know, did you, did you take to the streets? Did you do this? You know, what did you do? Because something's going on here that's very big, and you know, and I think we do have an opportunity still, you know, to impact its flow. And and it's not necessarily for everyone, you know, to uh uh to go to war physically, but you can go to war like you are you are a warrior because you're basically, you know, uh uh fighting a a way of thinking by bringing alternate ways of thinking to people that theoretically could change how they live their lives. I mean, you're doing it, you know, in the podcast, and you're doing it in the individual work like I do. I do it in my teaching, and I also do it when I'm working with clients one-to-one or with students or whatever. And so this is really, you know, this whole thing that so many of us are involved in didn't exist 50 years ago. 120 years ago, there was no such thing as anyone going to therapy. It was like, you know, people people, you know, diss Freud because he was hung up on sexuality and he got it wrong. And without Freud, there would be no depth psychology. You know, there would be no talk of the unconscious, of ego. There would be no idea of projection. There would be no, I mean, all of these things that that we moderners just take for granted. Why do we do therapy? Here's an interesting thing. You want to talk about retrocausality? You know why we do therapy? We have the present that is altering the past. That's retrocausality. Oh no, the past is written in stone. The present is written in stone. The past, you know, there was a time in my past where I believed Santa Claus was real. You know, there was a time in my past where I thought that Columbus discovered the new world. It was doing fine before he got there and began a process of eliminating, you know, people who had lived there for, you know, generations. And so we're always altering the past, which then changes our perception of the present, which gives us different trajectories to choose to go into a different future. That's why we do therapy. That's why we work, you know, with, you know, with with a life coach be or or or a therapist is because, well, h what is how has this worked for you in the past? What have you done that's similar to this? Yeah. And what did you do and how how did it work out? What would happen if we did this rather than that? You know, that we we go back to the past and we um and we take what was what we built on falsehoods or on our perceptions of being a three-year-old or 10-year-old or 19-year-old that we then solidify into reality that we're using to make decisions now that have nothing to do with the situations we're in now. So we this is another kind of retrocausality. It's not just how does the future leak into the present moment, but it's also how does the present moment change the past, which then changes our sense of history and what our choices are in the present moment.

>> There's a real call to arms in there, and I'm sort of playing on the words ARMS MS with AL MS. And, you know, you referenced Jung's last book, and yeah, there's this real deep the shift's going to come from within, as you mentioned the Mahayana. I wanted to sort of see if I could pin that to the shift that's coming, um, July 2026. You mentioned there was five different sort of elements to it, but one of them that stood out to me was this Jupiter Leo thing that's coming through, this expansion and potentially Leo being self-expression and stuff like this. Could you speak to potentially just the the call on like this this warrior energy that you're speaking to? Is that one of the elements in there? Can I reference that as potentially part of it or?

>> Yeah, I think it's one of the catalysts in this because Jupiter spends a year in each sign, which means it spends a year in Leo every 12 years. You know, Jupiter just moved now from Gemini into Cancer. It'll be in it'll spend this year in Cancer, which is expanding the Cancerian archetype, which is security, home, family, you know, it's the fear of being invaded by by any foreign anything, idea, concept, you know, the fear of that which is unknown. But as Jupiter moves into Leo, it does move that energy kind of outward in a creative manner, but Jupiter does that every 12 years. However, this time it's doing it, and in July of of 2026, Jupiter, as it moves into Leo, will be opposite to Pluto in Aquarius, which is a real power struggle of the self-expression against the, you know, the community of the established, you know, hidden structures. Jupiter opposite um Pluto, but at the same time, Jupiter will be exactly trying to Neptune, and that's the imagination, and it's not just illusion and delusion, it's also the creative imagination. And we know that imagination, my my friend Caroline Casey, another visionary who would be a wonderful guest for your show, um, she doesn't call herself um an astrologer, um, but she's she she's a visionary activist and um, but she is an astrologer, and Caroline likes to say that imagination lays the tracks for the reality train to follow. I like to say that Neptune creates the framework and scaffolding upon which Saturn builds the three-dimensional world. In other words, you know, we can say that a dream or is an illusion. And in the Freudian sense, an illusion isn't something untrue. It's just something that's based upon a wish fulfillment or an idea, or an illusion is a mental construct that is beyond the three-dimensional world. And then I think of Walt Disney's, "A dream is a wish your heart makes." And then I think about making dreams come true, because when we have a Neptune, you know, imagination, that lays the tracks for Saturn or the reality train to create reality on. And in fact, I would suggest that as Saturn is aligning with Neptune, you see when when when when the mists of imagination and the mists of illusion when they precipitate to Earth, that's the Saturnian three-dimensional precipitate out of the dreams of illusion. They're never as pretty. The colors aren't as bright as they were when they are dreams. And even when our dreams come true, most of the time, not always, but most of the time when our dreams come true, or more often when they don't come true, we are what? We are disillusioned. Disillusioned is a good thing because what it means is we've separated the dream from what's real. What's not a healthy thing is to be discouraged. Being disillusioned is being able to see the difference between the dream and reality.

>> Well, it's alchemical in some ways.

>> Well, yes, but what happen Yes, it is. But what happens is that the the word courage or discouragement comes from the French word cur, from heart. And it's okay to realize what's real and what's imagination. But it's not okay to let that cause you to lose heart. Do you understand? And this is why when Jupiter moves into Leo, it's going to be making a harmonious trine with Neptune and a supportive sexile with Uranus all at the same time. And so we have an opportunity, except it's not like we could take the opportunity next July unless we spend a year working toward it in this kind of retrocausal, "What can I do today that might feed me so that I'm ready when?" You know, this isn't about doing everything today, it's about working towards something. What's the the the great Swami? I this is made up, I don't know who the Swami is, but the great Swami once said, "Inch by inch, it's a cinch. Yard by yard, it's hard." And inch by inch is where we need to think of right now, and not just go into this place of not just disillusionment, but discouragement. "I can't do anything." There are things you can do. There are little things we can do every day. You know, we can play it forward. We can hold the door open for someone and smile at them. And if everyone did that more consistently, it would up the energy. You know, a lot of this is just that people are so fearful and so overwhelmed by what's happening out there, it's like, "Why bother doing anything? I'll just try to hold on to my own." Um, and and yet there is a there is a place that's too far. Meaning that if if we exhaust all of our energy on whatever good idea it is we have today, our cup will be empty. And we need to maintain a a a lifestyle or a methodology of not of surviving with enough energy so that we can constantly share our overflowing cup rather than just emptying it and having nothing to share.

>> Does am I wrong in sort of conflating that Leo also represents courage also represents this heart and like you're referring to?

>> 100%. And that's and >> Absolutely. And the sun, you know, here's a wonderful thing about astrology. In astrology, every planet, and when we use the word planet, we include anything that moves up there, including the sun and the moon. So if I say the moon is a planet or the sun is a planet, I know the difference astronomically, but astrologically, the Greek word planeta just means wanderer. It wanders in the sky. Now >> having said that, every sign has a planeta, a wanderer that is associated or lives or is at home in that sign. The the planet that's at home in Leo is the sun. The planet that's at home in Aries is Mars. Venus is at is at home in Taurus. Mercury is at home in Gemini. The moon is at home in Cancer. The sun is at home in Leo. Um, and then Mercury, a lot of them have a morning star, evening star. Mercury is also at home in Virgo. Venus is also at home in Libra. Mars is also at home in Scorpio. But moderners now have said Pluto is at home in Scorpio, too, because that was discovered more recently. Um, and that Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius. Um, but moderners have added Neptune, and Neptune is at home in Pisces, where it used to be Jupiter's home. So on. Now the point here is that the sun is at home in Leo, and Leo is the heart center. It represents the heart of gold. Leo is the sun. Every planet is associated with a metal. Here's another deep dive that's so fascinating that every I mean, it's just it's just brilliant that that, you know, the sun is is related to gold, the moon uh to silver, um Mercury to Mercury, Venus to copper, uh Mars to iron, Jupiter to tin, and Saturn to lead. This is the ancients knew this. Now the sun related to gold is related to the heart. In homeopathy, gold is a heart remedy. And it turns out that without gold in our body, in minuscule amounts, we die. And gold coalesces in the human heart, really for real. The heart of gold is a real thing. It's not I mean, it's it's image. It's made up. It's myth. But gold, like lead, which is about solidity, lead in our body, too much lead kills us. Lead poisoning. But lead is what makes our bones elastic. Lead is why cats can jump so far because their bones have more lead in them, and they have this like electrical piezoelectric kind of spring that's different from the muscularity. So every planet is related to a metal. The sun is related to gold, and the sun is at home in Leo. And when Jupiter goes into Leo, yes, this is about self-expression from the heart.

>> It seems like there's a whole upgrade on its way for the heart, which is really inspiring. Feeling into metal, metallurgy, all of that is really interesting as well. I'm imagining like now potentially why people wear so much jewelry at times. Maybe there's like that trace element thing that it's doing subconsciously for their heart that they might not even be aware of.

>> Well, and silver relating to the moon is more the feelings and the, you know, the unc the subconscious. And um, you know, every uh copper, you know, is related to Venus, and copper, you can't use it for war because it's too malleable, but it's beautiful. You know, copper is, you know, is is just gorgeous. And and when and when they discovered that you could melt copper with tin, and when it solidified, it made bronze. And bronze actually was stronger than either tin or copper separately. And and so when you melt these these different metals together, they create alloys that have that have um characteristics that are greater than the sum of their parts. And I've been saying for about a year or two now that we are in a period of the metals beginning to melt together and beginning to solidify. And by 2026 into 2027, the alloy is going to be solid. Wherever we're at by then is where we're going to be stuck for a while. Right now, we're at a point still of change, which is why it's so important to call back room and say, "Do not go back to sleep. Do not go back to sleep." It's really fascinating because this is I mean, on just on a personal note, like as a Sikh, we wear these um these we call them a kara, which is like a it's a circular armband that every Sikh has to wear, and we're meant to wear um stainless steel ones um and it's a symbol of like a circle, it's like the unity, but it's also it served some functions in in previous times. And I don't know if you remember my chart, but it's Taurus rising, and I for the oddest reasons, I have a copper one, and everyone's like, "Is that a copper cutter?" And I'm like, "Yeah, it's copper." Um, it's and I've always just I've always worn a copper one, and now like listening to you is like, "Oh, of course I do. It's like Venus, Taurus, copper." It's like, and and this is the interesting thing. We naturally gravitate towards these influences that are happening in and around our charts.

>> And Venus is at home in Taurus, and that Venus has that feeling of Taurus. By the way, the Rumi poem, uh, I'm not going to read the whole thing, but it's "The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep. You must ask for what you really want. Do not go back to sleep. People are going back and forth across the doorways where the two worlds touch. The door is round and open. Do not go back to sleep." And we live in a world in the United States where being woke is considered to be politically, you know, a dangerous thing. I mean, as crazy as that is, it's, you know, it it's but we need to wake up. We need to let Uranus strike the lightning and bring awareness to us. And then once we become aware, to become more aware, and even if it's shocking and even if it's uncomfortable, do not go back to sleep.

>> Can you tell us a little bit more about we've spent a lot of time talking about Uranus today, but also it's moving into Gemini. Can you describe Gemini a little bit to us, cuz yeah, like what is the energy of Gemini?

>> Gemini is the sign where the planet Mercury is at home, and Mercury is quick. Mercury is adaptable and changeable. Mercury is the mental thoughts. Mercury is Jung's concept. Gemini is air. It's it's about thinking. And um, I love the the Bucky Fuller line. He says, "A thought is the shortest distance between two points, not a straight line."

>> And so >> that is such a Buckminster Fuller quote, by the way.

>> I'm I'm a major Bucky fan. I mean, deep deep deep. I've actually read pretty much everything he's written. Um, but the the idea of Gemini is connecting the dots. I sometimes say that Geminis are the information of the zodiac. If there's data, they can't say no. They'll take in any data. It doesn't matter whether it's effective or if it's useful. Doesn't even matter if it's true. Gemini just wants information. Gemini, you know, is is is the planet of talking. It's listen, it's it's the um origin of the word merchandise, Mercury. It's that back and forth. It's the mercantile. It's the trade. It's the do this, I do that in return. And so when Uranus moves into Gemini, which it did just a couple of weeks ago, um um and it will be in Gemini and then it'll back into Taurus just a touch where it's been for seven years, and then it'll stay in Gemini for another six and a half years. Um, in Gemini, Uranus, the planet of change, of sudden unexpected lightning like change in Gemini is ready to dance. It's ready to move. Its change is easier than holding on to the status quo. For the last seven years, when when Uranus was in Taurus, Taurus is like granite. It's it's its stability. It doesn't like to change. So, Uranus in Taurus is takes a lot more energy for anything to happen. And when it happens, it's an earthquake. But in Gemini, it's like the change is just going to be absolutely regular. And and it's it's noisy. One of the things that happened in the 1940s, World War II and the advent of radio, you know, I mean, of public, you know, widely used radio, the whole communication, FM radio came into being. Then it's like the rate of information trans information transfer just exploded. Now we have been doing that for decades. But as Uranus moved into and is now in Gemini, um, I think that the amount of information and information overload on one hand is going to be really exciting, and on the other hand, it's going to be so overwhelming. The rivers are moving so fast, our natural impulse is going to want to find a place on shore and hold on to it, which is what we can't do. We have to find a place to flow with the energy and somehow find a way to keep our head above water. And you know, in some ways, this is like the biblical deluge, you know, the story of Noah's ark, which exists not only in the, you know, in the um Old Testament, the Judeo-Christian um Islamic, you know, um tradition, all over the world, every culture has their story of universal deluge. Whether it happened or not is not the issue. However, it's happening now, except rather than being just rain, although there have been a lot of floods since Uranus moved into Gemini, more than normal. It's we're being flooded by the cerebral um myths, images, data, and that flood basically is rather overwhelming, and it will continue to be.

>> Yeah, I can see that there's such a flood of torrent of information as well. In fact, we're getting we're getting flooded by it's like drinking from a fire hose. Even YouTube, I've noticed like just, you know, cuz we published the podcast here, is like the amount of AI content that's coming through as well, and people are like discerning what's real, what's not. I I saw this post the other day. Um, I watched this entire video about how the Pope refused to shake Kate Middleton's hand, and I was like, "That's not very enlightened of the Pope." And then so I I watched this video, and I watched it for 30 minutes, and then by the end of it, there was there was it was just it was a completely AI generated script. All the images were generated. I did some fact. The Pope and Kate Middleton haven't met, let alone the necessity for them to shake their hands. And then not the title got me, and I was like, "What?"

>> Well, you know, you know that old saying, "Seeing is believing." I remember Wayne Dyer used to say, and he might have even written wrote he might have even written a book with that title, "Believing is Seeing."

>> Yeah. And in a way now, with the advent of, you know, all of these AI generated images, voices, uh, you know, and information, we can make anyone say anything and anyone look like they're doing anything. Incidentally, Denmark actually did a cool or is in the process of doing a cool thing right now. In Denmark, they are in the process of passing a law that automatically grants every person the copyright to their own being, voice, and physical image, which means that you can't make um unlicensed, you know, um AI anything from someone without their written permission.

>> Inspired souls, human beings, join in on the conversation below. I'd love to hear from you in the comments. What are your biggest takeaways from this conversation with Rick Lavine here today? >> This is the future we're headed into.

>> Well, actually, I'm worse, worse, and better. This is the future we're in already.

>> That's true.

>> Yeah.

>> That's true. That's true. And I think it's it's interesting watching um even just the kids because I've got a I've got a four-year-old and a one and a half year old, and just watching the world that they'll inherit and just, you know, what is coming through for them right now.

>> Yeah. They'll never be able to imagine a time when two people in different places can't look like they're in the same place.

>> Yeah. Or get connected. And then you wonder like if there ever is, and I don't wish this, but if there was like an impact like um what's that uh Fight Club, you know, how like they they wipe out like the um the technology and stuff, that's going to be very disruptive, very, very disruptive for a generation that's never actually, you know, had to rely on a non-internet, not information-related related um sort of time.

>> Last episode you were here, you talked about the liminal space that we're in because many people like, "Oh, we've stepped into the Age of Aquarius. This is who we are now. What's going on?" And it really stayed >> 100 years. It's 100 years away.

>> Yeah. And you said we're in this liminal space, actually, and that's really stayed with me in terms of also partially why we're feeling so like disruptive. It's like, you know, when you look at ecosystems, we've got, cuz yeah, just down by the trail, there's this interesting like whenever two ecosystems meet, actually, there's some really interesting like insects and plants and fauna and stuff going on. And so, you know, astrologically, we're in this liminal space. This is is this why it kind of feels a bit like topsy-turvy, up down, all around, and which way is inside a house?

>> Yes. And I think even going back a hundred, 150 years, I think um Frederick Nietzsche had a real sense of this from a larger perspective when he talked about um what he called the Übermensch or superman, which I think was a large part of what um Nazi Germany used to build their power. But that's not what he was talking about at all. He was talking about we are at a point in nature where where there's a where you see the mistake is to think that humans are the pinnacle of evolution. You know, probably like, you know, bonobos or or chimps thought they were the pinnacle of evolution. You know, we are a point in evolution um but by no means a pinnacle. And we are at a point where our species is different. Um, but it's not yet evolved fully into whatever it is we're evolving into. That the Übermensch or Superman um, and I don't mean like Superman the comic character, um, is basically um, and this is actually the origin of the concept of transhumanism or posthumanism, which a lot of people are afraid of and and want to not have anything to do with AI. And look, I mean, the biggest problem with AI is not what it might do to us, it's what it might, it's what it is already doing with use of water and resources and electrical power. We It's just like in the United States already, it's frightening that there are cities that are losing water supply that residents are getting. um in Memphis, Tennessee, where Elon Musk has built this huge, you know, super, you know, uh server farm, um where the water for cooling has taken away from the residents, and they're getting muddy water or no water in order to use those resources and the electricity and water to feed the servers that that AI is requiring. And this is something that is already but is going to be a huge problem. The scale at which it uses resources is just mind-boggling. It's just, you know, if anyone has not done research on this, it's a very, it's all over. All you got to do is ask the right questions. You can even use AI and ask it, and it will tell you.

>> Can I ask you a question about um AI in particular at this moment? Just your thoughts. And this is I don't know. Um, but one of the interesting things is they're currently finding that it it potentially runs a risk of collapsing in on itself even at these early stages because previously we had researchers that were doing like 5-10 year PhDs, sort of putting into like these bodies of work they would study and then prop up a research article and then be like, "Okay, cool, these are my findings." And it was, you know, that's a lot of human life to pour into data and information, talking about Gemini, right? And then now what's happening is AI can take that information and, you know, initially in in its early stages was doing really well. But now it's when every time it spins up an output, it's like 5 to 10% off, just a little bit. And it keeps telling you, "You have to fact-check me." But now that that data is starting to swamp the internet, it's literally becoming swampier. And the the information sources are becoming a bit more compromised. And so eventually, it's like, "Oh, like it's almost going to potentially collapse in on itself." And it's a real problem that they're facing at the moment. I just, I don't know if I can draw parallels to Gemini there, but I'm just I'm just curious because, yeah, just any.

>> Maybe to some extent that it's accentuated by the Uranus and Gemini, but I think that that's more a function of Saturn and Neptune aligning, conjoining that will come to an exact conjunction on February 20th. So, next January, February, March, I think we're going to see a culmination of some of this, you know, crisis. Um, but even right now, um, Gemini, I'm sorry, Saturn and Neptune have both just recently turned retrograde, and so they've come within a quarter, less than a quarter of a degree of being exactly aligned, and now Saturn's backing up, and Neptune's backing up, and then as they turn direct again by February, they're going to actually align, and Saturn will surpass uh uh Neptune. And so with the Saturn Neptune conjunction, we are seeing this, what is real and what is AI, what is made up, and hopefully we'll we'll get some clarity on maybe how we can sort some of that out, but I'm not sure that we will. I think we may be left with a legacy. There's another thing here, and that is that when you do something like a PhD program and you put, you know, three to five years in on something, there's a whole process of taking that journey, and AI in some ways is shortcutting that journey, and you just have the answer. And there it's not, it does something very different to the, you know, to the to the brain that is basically on one level um making us stupid.

>> There's also this element of like, yeah, just pattern recognition. As Steve Jud puts, like a lot of astrology, his fascinations are around pattern recognition. He just sees the patterns again and again.

>> Me too. It's a title of a book by William Gibson, the guy who coined the term cyberspace 20 years before the internet. And one of his books is called Pattern Recognition. It's a fantastic book, novel. It's it it's nothing to do, well, it is, but it's not to do with the pattern recognition that Steve and I talk about in astrology when we're looking at repetitive cycles and we're trying to understand what the patterns are to recognize them so that we can tease out what's the same now, what's different, because there's always something different in every recurring pattern. The moon is, you know, a full moon once a month, but every time that same pattern, well, the word moon is month. It's it's >> it's a better word. Definitely should be >> but it is the same word. It's it's one one is etymologically derived from the other. A month is a moon. You know, there's 12 and a half moons a year. And so in a solar calendar, we have 12 12 months a year. 12 months a year. Anyhow, every, there's a pattern of what happens from a new moon to a full moon and a full moon to a new moon. But every month when that happens, there are other things that are not the same. And so we're recognizing the patterns, but we're also learn. It's like, what's the same and what's not the same? How do we recognize the pattern and discern that from those things which are slightly different each time?

>> Well, even more than that, what I'm landing into actually in this conversation, it's going to sound like an advert for astrology, is actually as we move into these places of pattern recognition, and there's more and more noise in the digital online space, even as more and more robots, technology start to emerge around us, as we move in further into the Age of Aquarius, actually discerning truth, reality from artificial is going to become back to the EIO is like, is going to be is going to be quite quite hard. However, the truth, it's dawning upon me that the truth in the stars will remain the truth in the stars, and those patterns will, you know, there's an element of truth that they will continue to guide us, and there's something in there.

>> I totally agree with you, except I want to share a story. Um, someone I know recently um asked, I think they were using Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT, one of the AI interfaces, and basically, the person was having a hard time, and that particular day, and asked the AI, you know, "Can you give me any feedback from an astrological perspective?" You know, and and then the person dug deeper, "Can you tell me about, you know, is Mercury retrograde having any impact on what's happening?" And so on. And the AI was amazing. The person was so excited, sent me a the transcript of that whole interaction, saying, "Isn't this incredible?" And it really touched me, and it was such good information. And, you know, "Would you take a look at this and tell me what you think?" And I was curious. All the planets were in wrong signs.

>> Yeah. Completely. It gets the houses wrong. It gets >> Absolutely not. And and a person who is not an astrologer, the first thing I noticed, it said Mercury was retrograde in Virgo. No, it's in Leo. And it wasn't just a matter of different mapping techniques because it had all the planets and the names and the ang off the internet, but it may have been a daily that I wrote 15 or 20 years ago.

>> Completely cooked. I had two clients come up to me, both of them saying, "Oh, I heard somewhere in one of your podcasts you've got a Yod. I've got a Yod, too. Can you have a look at it?" And I had a look at the chart, and I don't see a Yod. And they're like, "But ChatGPT said." And I was like, "Oh, dude, it it hallucinates harder on astrological content than it does other things um I have found." But even in that, I'm sure there are like quantum physicists and people out there out there or like engineers that are going,

>> "Dude, this is not the best tool." Like, it's good generalist. It's not a good specialist. Um, especially with astrology.

>> There is I think there is an interesting use of of AI to give us ideas or to synthesize our own ideas. I know someone else who did who who um was using um one of the AI um uh interfaces and basically asked a question about some research that they were doing, and AI came back with this very intriguing answer that the person said, "Wow, this is kind of really, I mean, this is the point that I was making. This is what I was thinking." And then realized that the AI was quoting them from something that they wrote somewhere in some, I don't know, you know, but, you know, it's yeah, it's definitely, you know, it's definitely interesting times. Definitely someone's listening in, they're feeling the symptoms, they're overwhelmed, they're tired, they're fatigued, potentially they're going through a But it does seem a bit topsy-turvy, inside out. Um, what would be your offering to them?

>> Yeah, take care of yourself. Do whatever, you know, turn turn off the computer, you know, turn turn off the TV. Um, what's the, you know, Japanese? Uh, do some forest bathing, you know, surround yourself in some way, you know, even if the season isn't right. Get just get in someplace where there can be quiet, where you and and and yet even that, what we think of as quiet, we're still being bombarded by, you know, by uh kilohertz, megahertz frequencies, gigahertz frequencies all the time. You know, we are changing, and there's no way to avoid that. But I think that often it's we forget to take care of ourselves. We forget that, you know, that habits like getting enough sleep. I tell myself because sometimes, I mean, I'm one of those people that sleeps well when I'm in bed and my eyes are closed. But if I have a reason to to stay up another hour or two because there's just so much stuff out there that I want to know, you know, my Gemini rising, you know, I I'm curious. I just want to know stuff. I loved I loved that in your interview um with Raymond Moody, you know, he just basically said, "I'm a curious person." You know, it's like, you know, "I'm learning that I can come from the heart and help people, but I'm doing this because I want to know." And I might have said this in our first talk, but, you know, um I'm 76 years old. When I was 19, um I said that my goal in life was to try to figure out how does meta, and this is way before, you know, Facebook, you know, took the the word, but my was how does meta become physical? In other words, it's a play on how does metaphysical become physical? Because a lot of modern scientists who are materialists say that we have evolved a complex enough nervous system that we've become self-aware and we've developed, you know, a a consciousness. Whereas most uh awakened people, and certainly many of the um indigenous cultures around the world, have it exactly the other way. And that is that consciousness creates physicality, not complexity and physicality creates consciousness. So my question was, and still it's less of a question, but it's still my primary reason for doing what I do, is you look around your room, around your house. You have people, you have a spouse, you have a child or children. You have books. You have favorite music. You have people that you've interacted with. You have memories. You have artifacts. That all of this stuff together is an emanation constellation of things. Somehow they were not things in your constellation until you constellated them. How did the invisible, non-existent or pre-existent constellation of your world or my world, how did that manifest? In other words, how does meta become physical? And although there's many avenues of study that, you know, kind of lead us to different clues on that, it's basically the underlying question of quantum physics. I mean, even going back to Pythagoras, who said there's no such thing as anything solid in the in the cosmos. Everything is vibratory, and everything vibrates with everything else. It's Indra's net in the ancient Vedic tradition, where the cosmos is a net of pearls. At every knot, every node, the word node in astrology is Greek for knot. At every knot in the net, there is a pearl. And you can look in any pearl and see the reflection of every other pearl in that net in that pearl. And so everything is connected to everything. But how does the invisible, that 97% of dark energy, dark matter, things that are outside the realms of perception, and again, it was Bucky Fuller who in the 1960s said that 99% of all scientific research occurs in areas of universe. He never used the before universe. how um that 99% of all re scientific research occurs in areas of universe that are invisible to the human senses. And so the question is, how does invisible become visible? How does metaphysical become physical? And for me, astrology has been the most basic underlying mapping uh tool that I have found that points, you know, at least the way, and I say points the way because no physical map, no no physical map points to the magic of metaphysics. Just like taking apart a radio doesn't point us to the magic of a Mozart symphony that we were listening to in the radio before we start taking it apart. Music doesn't exist in the radio. Consciousness doesn't exist within you or I. It's, you know, it's uh Rupert Sheldrake uses the word panenthe panentheism. It's not just that God is in all living creatures. It's that whatever that God force is, it's not necessarily the old man with the beard, but whatever that is is in everything because everything is a pearl on Indra's net. And astrology does give us a tool to untangle it. But for centuries, there was nothing spiritual about astrology. It was just a this is up there, so this is down here. You know, it's a cause and effect thing. And now as astrology has changed, we many people use astrology as a part of their metaphysical inquiry, their therapy to rediscover the history that may not be what they thought it was. One of the ma most magical things in astrology when I'm working with an individual client is to take Saturn, for example, which is most associated with the real world, three-dimensional events in our lives, and to follow Saturn through that person's life in this 30-year, 29 and a half year cycle, and to see that those things that happened to you every seven years that you go, "Oh yeah, that's when my parents separated. Oh yeah, that's when we moved and I got got a new stepmom. Oh yeah, that was the year that was the first major relationship I was in and I ended up with a broken heart. Oh yeah, that's when I got married. That's when I had." And you realize that these events that all seem totally separate are all one event that we just see through different points in time. And astrology gives us the ability to create a review, a reconceptualization of the timeline of our past, which then gives us a different perception of what's going on in the present moment. That then gives us alternate past to take. So we don't just repeat the pattern that we've recognized that Steve talks about, that I talk about. Because once you recognize a pattern, you have the ability to make conscious choices to untangle or to break away from that pattern. But if you don't see the pattern, you just invisibly repeat it forever like a neurotic that has some behavior that it's doing, and it doesn't even know it's doing it, again and again and again, on again and again and again. As if the psyche thinks that if it keeps doing it, eventually something different will happen. You know what they say that insanity, you know, is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result. Well, that's what neurosis is. And I think it's very important to understand that that Freud said that because society basically represses us, that there is no escape. We can manage neurosis, but we can't cure it, because neurosis is a necessary byproduct of not just acting from instinct, from our animal nature. And of course, it was Wilhelm Reich who basically stood up to Freud, was actually handpicked by Freud to become the um the next director of the psychoanalytic institute in Vienna until he started teaching. And when he started teaching, Freud kicked him out of the institute because, uh, you know, Wilhelm Reich had this audacious idea that neurosis was actually curable. You know, we and of course, this was the whole thing of what, you know, of what he called orone therapy, that that this idea that if we could get into states of consciousness that got beyond the three-dimensional world, that we could actually have these experiences that altered the cellular chemistry of of our bodies, mitochondria, whatever, that really then, you know, allowed us not to go through life neurotic and repressed. And of course, many of the Eastern practices, you know, whether they be meditation or yoga practices or whatever, are kind of, you know, at that same thing. And Wilhelm Reich didn't have those things to

lean on, but he came to it from a western perspective. Um, and so it's very interesting that we are at a time where, in humanity, at least in modern western culture, it's we we're living, you know, in the first generations where there are people who believe that we can actually find, um, enlightenment or awareness, you know, or spiritual awakening without necessarily dying and going to heaven or being punished in hell. Food for thought.

Well, poetically very fitting, given the question that I asked, and yeah, us coming home full circle to Rooker, who basically said, "Yeah, you got to live the questions. You have to live the questions." So, yeah, Rick Lavine, thank you so much for your time, your energy, sharing yourself so abundantly here with us today. I love talking with you because, I mean, I I I remember Ram Dass. Ram Dass and I share a birthday, not same year, but we're going the same day, and I remember Ram Dass once saying, um, you know, "I'm just a run-tomouth, you know, you know, you ask me questions and I just and I and I talk, but I appreciate the questions and where we go when we're together." Uh, because this is not a script, you know, this is just creating this space. And I sometimes tell my students who are being wanting to train to be astrologers that the real work of an astrologer is just to facilitate creating sacred space where magic can happen. That's it. You know, we use a map to get into that space, but it's not about telling people who they are. It's not about forecasting what's going to happen. It's about basically creating magic. And I appreciate the magic that you create, that we create together. But I've seen you do this again and again with other guests on your show. So, I appreciate you.

>> Touchwood, Rick. Thank you. It is very high praise from your high self. Thank you so much for your blessings, and it is always an absolute pleasure to have you on. I'm looking forward already to the next one, but maybe that next one's already calling me into that one. [Laughter]

Uh, so Elon Musk's agent called Grok, his AI agent that's on X and that he's, you know, his team has created, basically about a week ago, went crazy, um, and, you know, basically advised people that the best information that they could have for dealing with what's going on now, you know, was by studying Hitler, and he, and he called himself Mega Hitler, or, or, you know, the, you know, the AI referred to himself as that, and it was just it was frightening. And of course, they, um, that it went so public, this whole thing, that Musk had his engineers go in and kind of soften, you know, the the touch of Grok.

>> But here's the crazy thing: is the United States military has just awarded a $200 million contract to Elon Musk for the use of Grok for the military.

>> Jeez Louise.

>> Now, now, here's here's where I'm going with this. You know, I said, share water. Do you know where that comes from? That concept of share water and Grok, you know, the art.

>> I've heard there's a whole, uh, fantasy series or something, apparently.

>> No, it's a, it's one particular book by the science fiction master Robert Heinlein.

>> And he wrote a book, he wrote a book, I mean, he wrote 50 books. Um, and anyone who's into science fiction has read their, you know, Star Trooper stuff and the Robert Heinlein things, but he wrote a book, um, called, um, *A Stranger in a Strange Land*.

>> *Stranger in a Strange Land*. And it's a brilliant book, and it's about this Martian who came to Earth, and his name was Michael Valentine Smith. And Michael Valentine Smith was gentle, and he came to Earth, and his whole thing, because on Mars it was desert, and so he came to Earth, and the most, the highest form of intimacy was sharing water. Share, like that was his, you know, "Let's share water," and you did that when you, the word Grok comes from that book. It's a word that Heinlein made up.

>> And it means to empathetically understand so well that you and the other person have no boundary in what it is that's being spoken.

>> Yeah. I got.

>> Now, here's the punchline of this, my thinking totally, and that is that is Musk, who's, I think, an awful person, but is not necessarily stupid. Um, his singular mission in life is to go to Mars. [Laughter]

>> And just to be able to share water, maybe.

>> Well, but but that he named his AI intelligence after the Martian, I don't think anyone out there has thought about that or realizes it. Um, and, you know, and so much of his SpaceX stuff is all about settling Mars.

>> Well, he does, and he, like, I don't want to sound like this because he's obviously, um, much of him is a genius, but then also,

>> I'm not sure. I think he's just found the, he's been he's been right on at surrounding himself with the right geniuses at the right moment, or taking their ideas and taking credit for it. I mean, he didn't make up PayPal. He didn't make up, you know, um, um, Tesla. I mean, he basically, the ideas were someone else. They were someone else's engineering. He just took the bow and ran with it greedily to make money and have power.

>> And, um, but there is this element of he does feel like a stranger sometimes when you talk to him. You can sort of see there is like an odd, oddness or an aloofness about, um, the way he carries himself. Um, and so *Stranger in a Strange Land*. Very, yeah, quite a few different rabbit holes. I've I've downloaded the audiobook. You mentioned it, so I'm going to grab my get my hands onto it.
