These past two days, the crazy plunge in the US stock market has many people blaming Anthropic's newly released Claude, specifically its new plugin functionality. The claim is that this feature can completely kill off the functionality of almost all SAS software in the industry.
So, how powerful is this feature? What can it do for us? Today, I'm going to do a deep dive analysis and teach you how to use these amazing tools in our future lives and work.

First off, our channel basically only talks about AI. So, whether this feature directly caused the entire US stock market to crash and all these SAS companies' stock valuations to plummet, I won't be discussing in this show. In this show, I'm only going to talk about the AI functionalities. What are the functions? Is this the reason? You can make your own judgment.
First, if we just enter the Claude Desktop page, you can see there's a "Cowork" function here. I've already done a detailed video on the Cowork function before. If you're interested, you can search "Cowork" or "Claude Cowork" on my channel, and you'll find my previous video introducing the Cowork function.
Now, if you look to the left here, you'll see a "Plugins" function has appeared. When we click on this function, it will take us to a page that displays all the plugins that it has set up, which is an interface for built-in plugins. You can see many here, for example, "bioresearch," right? "Customer support," "data" organization, "enterprise search," "finance," "legal," "marketing," "product management," and "productivity." For each of these, when you open it, it will briefly tell you what it is. There will also be a short description. Finally, there's "sales."
Okay, here you can also "browse" or "upload" your own plugins. Both are possible, right? If you browse, you can see all these built-in plugins from Anthropic. I've downloaded all of them. I want to try them all out. Of course, by clicking here, you can also go to the GitHub marketplace to add plugins you like, or you can paste the URL of a plugin here, or a website address, and load it.
So, the reason for this stock market crash that Wall Street is talking about is basically these ten different plugins. Let's see what each of these plugins does. What is their purpose? Why could they cause the entire US stock market to crash? Let's take a look.
First, if you really want to use these plugins, how do you use them? After installing the plugins, just type the slash key here, and it will give you many prompts. It will prompt you about what plugins we have now. Then, you just need to find the prompt you want. For example, in sales, you can then look for "call summary." For example, if we have a conference call, what is the summary of the conference call? You can just click here and then write what summary you want here. It will automatically help us organize it. Of course, I will go through each plugin with you to explain what it does. This is just how to use them.
First, let's look at the overall purpose of all these Claude plugins. That is, we can use an automated question-asking format and a slash command format to execute all the tasks we want to perform. It can reduce our context token consumption and can connect to any software or other external MCP systems we want to connect to, such as Slack, Email, databases, etc. All of these can be connected. And here, it will have many application scenarios, just as I mentioned earlier, such as legal, financial, search, sales, marketing, and product management. It's a very powerful, multi-functional software that can help us do all the things in our company.
So, you can imagine, since it can do all these things, why would ordinary companies use those legal software, or those financial software, right? Or use some CRM customer management software, like Salesforce? If you've used Salesforce, you know it's priced per person. If your company has more people, if your company grows, and your company has more employees, they charge money for each person. But now, just by paying the cost of one person per month, everyone can enjoy these functions. This directly kills off many software companies.
So, in summary, the function of these plugins is to access any external tools, combined with its own internal prompts and prompts, to execute the work we want it to do, to achieve our goals and results.
First, let's look at the first function. This is the Claude efficiency engine. It can extract all chat information or any email information from our emails, our calendars, or our chats, and update and integrate them. This means it can help us update. After updating, it will generate a list, for example, what tasks have been completed, what are the new tasks, and what is the current progress of each process. It will help us organize all of this.
So, it can synchronize all the tools we are using. We don't need to manually update these tasks anymore. We can use it to update all our tasks with one click and organize all our information.
Second, let's look at the AI sales full-process optimization. It can basically become our sales manager. From the first step of how to mine customers, then to the second step, it will draft how we should initially email or message or interact with the customer based on the customer's situation. Then, it will deeply understand competitor analysis reports.
In the third step, we can use some pipelines, like those in Salesforce, which you might know if you do CRM systems in sales. It will have these CRM-like functions built-in. Then, it will generate a data-supported sales forecast report. After that, how to follow up with customers, how to close deals, how to sign orders with customers, etc. It has a complete set of sales operational procedures built-in, not just simple email or message replies. This is actually very powerful.
Next, let's look at the AI customer service automated processing flow. For customer service, frankly, we've done similar automated processing flows before using tools like n8n or others. First, we receive customer feedback. Then, we automatically determine the priority: urgent, high, medium, or low, based on the information within it. We determine its urgency and priority. Then, we can assign it to different people. For example, if it's a technical issue, we can directly send the information to an engineer. Or, if needed, we can search our knowledge base for the answer and reply. After that, it will automatically draft a reply, then search our knowledge base, then automatically archive it, and then store all the conversations in our knowledge base. Later, if we want human review before sending, that's also possible. Or, if we don't want human review and want it to be sent directly to our customers, that's also possible.
So, this is a feature that completely kills off all intelligent customer service software or can easily replace the complex automation workflow systems we previously built with n8n. So, for us, it's simpler.
Next, let's look at the product manager function. The product manager function is basically a document and planning artifact. It can automatically write PRDs and plan roadmaps. How the entire roadmap should proceed, sorting by project development progress and sequence. Then, core value and benefits. It can make the project specifications more transparent. It can be said to be a very useful artifact for product managers. If you are a product manager, don't miss such a good tool.
So, you can see that these functions represent many indispensable roles within a company. Now, they are all planned within the Claude software. So, you can completely imagine yourself as one person, with many AI employees working for you simultaneously.
Next, let's look at the marketing part. First, it can write a project brief, see the goals, the target audience, the message, and the entire brand and strategy conception. It can help us write it. Next is automated brand review. It can look at all our content through Google or other social media. It will do a comprehensive brand evaluation and review. Next, it will create SEO content and a content calendar. For example, how many posts or videos we should publish on social media every day. How to optimize SEO, etc. Finally, it will generate a one-click execution plan, providing us with an actionable plan.
So, this is also a very powerful function.
The next one is the AI legal risk analyst. I think this is also the most important one for me. Because now, my own company sometimes has lawyers, and I have to pay them very high fees. For small things, I think it can be completely omitted. Now, with this, I don't have to worry about it at all. As long as we upload the PDF contract and then click "slash review contract," it will automatically analyze the entire contract according to local laws. It can mark the core terms, potential risks, and any traps. It will help us find them. After marking them, it will make it more intuitive for us to understand the core terms, the risks, and what we need to be careful about to avoid falling into traps. This is a money-saving artifact for small businesses. We no longer need to pay high legal fees while still being able to review and audit legal contracts.
So, I think this is personally very useful for me. I will definitely use it. If you have this need, and you are watching my video now, I think most people have this need. So, I think this is the most useful and best plugin for me among all the plugins.
The next one is about finance and data analysis drivers. First, before, you might have had to do it yourself, or your company's finance department had to do it. There were many SQL tables, Excel tables, many statements, many documents you needed to organize. Now, you just need to ask it with one click. It can extract data from the database, help you with reconciliation, generate financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, and even help you with company forecasts. All of these can be done. So, the efficiency directly skyrockets. If you have any financial questions, I think you shouldn't miss this function.
Next, let's look at enterprise search. It's like building an internal Google navigation for your company. If your company has a large number of documents, these documents might be in Slack, chat tools, emails, Notion, Google Drive, or other places. You might have very scattered, fragmented information. Now, you just need to search for something, for example, an event, a person's name, or something. It will directly search across platforms, all your documents, emails, Slack, or whatever other software you use. It will consolidate all the fragmented information into a simple, single answer and reply to you.
So, it's very useful. If your company has a lot of cumbersome information scattered across different tools, then I think this function will be very useful for you. It will solve many of your headaches.
Next, let's talk about the biological research artifact. This basically has many research and exploration functions for biological research. I don't think most people will use this, but since it's here, I'll explain it. First, it filters out a lot of junk information on the internet. It only searches authoritative sources like PubMed, which is a top global medical and biological scientific information source, and searches databases, not random sources. So, it will find the most authoritative academic information and then filter it and find clues for the information we want to find. So, if you are interested in biological research, I think you can try this function.
Returning to our Claude plugins, you can see all our plugins here. You can see that each of them has "command," "connector," and "skills." Each of them has these. So, for example, if you are using a connector now, you can, for example, if you are using Slack, Intercom, Hotspot, Guru, Notion, MS 365, you can install them with one click here. As long as you log in to your account, you can connect to all the tools you are currently using. And similarly, you can see that each of them has these. So, connecting tools is also very simple and easy.
If, for example, you can see that each of them has skills, right? Each of them has skills here. You can actually read what these skills say. Do they meet your needs? If you feel that these things are not suitable for your company's current situation, you can also customize them. According to your own situation, you can modify them. By clicking "edit" here, it will ask you if you want to open the file with VS Code or Cursor. Whichever tool you use to open the file, you can edit the skills here. And finally, turn it into your own skills using its template.
So, this function is also very, very powerful. So, you can not only use its already powerful templates to do the work you want, but you can even customize something according to your own situation. According to your company's situation, you can customize all the skills and then use these skills in our work.

Seeing this, I believe you can understand why I said at the beginning that all software industries are going to collapse. Because before, we needed to buy various software and pay monthly fees. Now, by using this plugin format, we can complete the work we want to do. Of course, I want to point out that it is definitely not 100% capable of replacing highly professional work. 20% of the work still requires professional people to do it. But it can complete 80% of the work, greatly improving our efficiency.

The most important thing is to know how to harness it, how to use these tools, turn them into better weapons, and then apply them to our careers to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement. This is what we need to understand and master.
