[Music] Hello, my name is Giovanni Paris, and I want to take you on a musical journey.
[Music] I was born in New Jersey, United States, but I was raised in Puerto Rico. And here, I was disposed since a child to all this flavorful, rhythmic salsa music, Latin jazz music, Afro-Caribbean music, and I grew up with.
[Applause] [Music] Until I started hearing all this amazing, romantic boleros, which attend to love. And there was a transition from boleros to Brazilian music's Bossa Nova, kind of a parallel of their love style besides the chorus. And that led me to love in this instrument they played today.
He started studying classical music in a conservatory, where I managed to blend the classical repertoire, a romantic interpreter, with all the influences that I have gained since I was a child in music. And through that experience, being in a conservatory, I get to the higher end of music by studying jazz, bebop, and all the other influences from the United States and the world. This is where the concept of a musical journey throughout the world would come from. You'll hear jazz, Latin, bolero, Afro-Caribbean, European academic music, zero. This journey that up Chandra.
