Sun transits to Mercury

A uh a a way that we can resolve things if we are taking to account other people's opinions and what's going on with other people. Conflict, um, conflicts usually come up, uh, based on how we are, what are we putting out there. And we have a chance to come to better ways of dealing with conflicts because really, it's two of the main keys to having successful relationships, any kind of relationship, especially a romantic relationship: managing your own emotions. And how do you manage your own emotions? And how good are you at conflict resolution? Those two things will make a relationship or break it. They're huge. If you're good at those two things, you're good.

And discernment, you have to be in a relationship with somebody that you can actually relate to. That's a big one too. Um, so we, uh, get better at, um, negotiating with others and figuring out how we can address certain issues. So it's, it's not a pleasant, it's not a pleasant, um, experience. But [Music] um, we need to be careful that other people aren't being angry with us. We are not arousing other people unnecessarily, uh, because that's what's going to force us into figuring out, oh, how am I going to resolve this? And sometimes we can make some good progress with the square because we might look at something or try to resolve thing something with different thinking than we approached it or started it with. So it's a good thing, um, if we aren't too selfish, too self-absorbed, too argumentative, uh, and we look around and realize who has good things to offer and we take that into consideration. If we're only considering ourselves, it's not a very good day.

So let's look at trying, uh, we understand ourselves pretty well at the try. We have a pretty good idea of why we're doing what we're doing and how to get more, uh, from the people around us based on just how we share our feelings and our needs and and what's going on with us. Our communication, the quality of our communication just pays dividends under the train. So it's easier to enlist the help of others. We are, we have a pretty good, uh, you know, amount of wisdom at this time. So, um, we are open, we are receptive, we are listening to what others might have to say, and it helps us to direct ourselves. It helps us to come to better solutions or conclusions. No ideas that we may not have had before. Um, our thoughts are not muddled at the tri, at the conjunction, at the square, the opposition. We're dealing with muddled, muddled thinking. Of clarity at the sextile and the Trine, that make it easy to discern. Mercury is our discernment. The sun makes it possible. Rest of is integration between our will, our conscious will, what we want, and our thinking, our decision making, our problem solving ability or communication. Mercur very good. [Music]

Um, uh, as long as we're curious, we're golden at the Trine. It's easy to be curious. I, there there aren't very people who are going to have a bad day when it comes to this one. So that brings us to the opposition, where we will find opposition from others in terms of them challenging our ideas or our opinions. Depending on our delivery, oh, it's so important at the square and particularly at the opposition. It is so important to pay attention to your delivery of your thoughts, your information, because you are, um, potentially going to arouse, uh, anger, um, people who are going to challenge your ideas or call you stupid because they are not well thought out. They might just be coming from more of a subjective opinion rather than wisdom or the place of actually having a really good argument. So you will find that [Music]

Um, if you are acting through the ego, you could be shut down rather quickly. It can be a humiliating experience with the opposition. So don't talk out of your ass and maybe don't talk at all until you're really sure that you can back up what you're saying. Uh, it, we aren't, um, to, to listen without, um, somebody pointing something out to us, and we can get a lot out of it. We can get a, a lot of clarity out of the opposition. We can, but it usually comes in a form of telling somebody telling us something that we don't know, or telling us to shut up, or correcting us, or giving us a piece of information that that we didn't know. So if we're open to that, clarity abounds. We can have the kind of clarity that we have at the sextile or the Trine, or that kind of singleness of mind that we have with the conjunction as well. But if we aren't listening, then we aren't getting the best out of the opposition because if we're not listening, we're just doubling down in our own egoic, we're too subjective, we're not open to information or communicating in a way that is inviting others to give us their best. And so sometimes we can fail at oppositions because we either have that aware wolf moment or that moment of awareness that we're like, you don't want to deal with that, and we don't do anything with what we've come to see. But and because we might, you know, come see that we're wrong or somebody might challenge us, and we may not choose to accept that or allow their opinion in or adjust or allow any flexibility. That's when we have doubled down and we haven't achieved clarity, we haven't achieved awareness that we're hoping always to get at the opposition. It's the best use of the opposition. So you have to allow other people to talk to you. You have to talk to others. You have to cooperate, um, because that's where wisdom comes. It can be a very wisdom-filled day where we realize, oh, that's the key, or that's the missing piece, that's what I'm doing wrong. Or, you know, sometimes when we're working on a problem or solving an issue, we can have a lot of it, you know, under wraps, but there can be that 10% that's not contained, and we may get the clue this particular day. H won't come from us. It will not come from us, but we might get it from others. And, um, we have to do something with it with the opposition. We have, we have to be, uh, open to it. So if you have a very egotistical Mercury in general, um, a very inflexible Mercury, this could be a more difficult transit because oppositions are humiliating. It's humiliating to admit that we don't know everything, um, or to admit that we're wrong, or to allow some information in that maybe we just didn't know before. If we allow that, we're good because it sets us up for the last half of the hemispheric transit. The last half of the year can be really great. It can be better because we have attained a certain level of flexibility, wisdom, knowledge. We're doing okay when it comes to getting our point across and getting other people to work with us and to cooperate with us. Uh, so it's a great, it, if we, uh, get the best out of it.

Um, other notes about the opposition. Let me take a look. May read that comment there. Uh, yeah, Mercury to the Sun is not the worst, most equatic place to have it. It, it could be worse, and there is a potential flexibility in Aquarius. We might think that we know everything in Aquarius. That's the other side of it, but, you know, it, it depends on how you're handling it. There's two sides to every sign. Um, so it's important for us not to so much talk about self or our ideas at the opposition. We, we might, and depending on our, on our delivery, we could get some really good feedback. But this is more about listening to others. The conjunction is about us talking. This is about everybody. You listen to me because this is when we decide we're going to put our ideas out there. Could at the, the conjunction. Now, at the opposition, we see what is the consequence of that. So now we consult others. Now we listen to others. Now we gain more insight and input. So as we go through the last half of the year, the last atmospheric transit to conjunction, we take with us more information than we had before because we don't know everything. So if we are asking for opinions and listening for people, listening to others, um, really truly wanting to know, being curious about what other people have to say, it is just such a wonderful, albeit potentially humiliating, but wonderful that can really get us on track, avoiding hitting, avoiding opinions that come strictly from our ego and don't take a lot into consideration outside of our. So that concludes my simple lesson for tonight. Um, why don't we open up for a few questions and then I am going to try to take a short break before we go into live group chat at 6 p.m.?

Yan, Hey Jo, meow. Um, okay, uh, so which one to choose between Mercury and Moon, um, when the transit sun is making a conflict? Okay, so for example, for example, uh, if we natally have Moon inconjunct to the Moon, then in the transit, sun will automatically make a sextile and then a square to each of them. Or on the other, the 210 degree side, that's going to be a, a Trine and a square. So because you're talking about that we can, you know, mark our calendar for, you know, a smooth communication. But what if was someone natally having that in conjunction with this two planets? So my question is, which one to choose because they automatically, as I just said, that will have a conflict to say, either the Moon or the Mercury, but then having a good aspect to another one. Um, that that happens in, in transits, that's really common. So you do have to, of course, take both into account. That we have two potentials that could happen, um, at the same time. And, uh, we can't, because they're both happen at the happening at the same time, we can't, you know, choose one or the other. They're, it's just a fact that they're both happening at the same time. Yeah. So we prepare for one, the difficult transit, and we take advantage of the other at the same time. So we know that in this area of life, with this, this could go a right, and over here, this is probably going to work for me, you know, if I move forward with it. So it's going to be a mixed bag in terms of what happens at that certain time. But, um, I think that does that answer it well? So does it mean that this kind of, um, NATO TR can never have a clear indication on which day is the best day to to mark their calendar? Because that that, yeah, just, just I'm just pondering on the idea that you use the day. You still, no, you still get the good stuff on the good day. You still look forward to that good day. You say, I'm going to get the best out of this day. But you prepare and you are aware for the difficult things that can also happen on that day. So I, I, we want to be conscious of both things. Yeah. And, and so, yeah, it may for some people take some of the zing, some of the, the pure amazingness out of a positive transit when we have something that on that very same day, we're also wrestling with within ourselves.
