So in the grand scheme of things, according to the Bible, there are only three men who actually matter when it comes to eternal destiny.
The first man is one we all know about. It's Adam. So what's the deal with Adam? According to Paul, all men are in Adam. In Adam, all die. In Adam, all are counted as sinners and trespassers. Adam was what we call the federal head. He was the representative man who represented all men. Adam was used to represent all men, not just symbolically, but literally. All men die. All men are counted as sinners. Sin entered the world through this one man. And as a result of his sin, all men became sinners, all people die. Paul talks about this in Romans 5:18. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all all men. For as by one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by one man's obedience, the many will be made righteous.
So there's actually two people here who are included in this passage in Romans chapter 5. One of them is Adam. This one man's disobedience was basically applied to all of us and his disobedience made sinners of us all. And everyone is what we call in Adam. All people are in Adam. He's the representative of the human race and we are all in him.
Now this passage in Romans talks about another man. This would be Christ. He also is a federal head or a representative of all mankind. And this is something that doesn't get talked about very often. And in fact, I think this is some of the meat of the word. This is not milk. This is meat. What I'm giving you, some people actually choke on. But it's what the Bible tells us. And it's what the word of God says. In Adam, all are condemned. And by one man's act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all mankind. Okay, notice it doesn't say some of mankind or people who accept Jesus as their savior. It says all mankind. I'm going to put a disclaimer right now for those of you who think I'm a universalist. I am not. I don't believe that every way is a way to God. Christ is the only way. He is the way, the truth, and the life. And the only reason that all mankind are saved is because according to the way God has orchestrated things with these two men whose lives count, all all who are in Adam are also in Christ.
And here's what Jesus had to say about that in John 12:32 and 33. "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. So Jesus was going to be lifted up. That is, he was going to be put on a cross and crucified. And at the time he was crucified, he would draw all men to himself. So the death he died, he died for all mankind. And just as all people were in Adam, so now all people are in Christ. All people have been justified by the blood of Christ. There is no other way for people to be justified. You have to have the blood of Christ. And Jesus said, "When I be lifted up, I will draw all men to myself."
And I use this illustration in my Passover Prophecies video series, which is deep. It's meat. That whole prophecy series is not something most people have ever heard ever in their life before. But I'm just going to draw you a little picture here. Remember in, uh, when the children of Israel were in Egypt and they were told to put the blood of an innocent lamb on their doorpost and lentil of their house. Okay, they have a house and the blood was on the doorposts of the house. Inside of the house are two groups of people. One group inside the house is the firstborn and the other group are non-firstborn. The blood was put on the door for the sake of the firstborn who have to be redeemed. That is, in order for them to live and to be saved. Something has to die in their place. Everybody else, all those non-firstborns who were in the land of Egypt, th this blood did not redeem them. However, they were in the house and the house represents Christ, Christ's body. This is the blood and they are all in Christ. They're all in the house. Okay? And a house is a body in scripture, an oiketerion. It's a, it's a house. So, they are all in Christ. Everybody is saved and some are redeemed. Two groups of people. Both groups of people are in Christ because when he's lifted up and he draws all men to himself and as many as are in Adam are now also in Christ. This is how God designed it. He wanted to save everybody.
1 Timothy 4:9-11. "This is a faithful saying and worthy of full acceptance. For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach because we trust the living God who is the savior of all men, especially of those who believe. These things command and teach." Okay. So I'm commanding, I'm teaching them. Okay. He's the savior of all men. Anyone who's in the house, but especially those who believe, that is the firstborn, the savior of the firstborn, those who are to inherit.
So all men are in Adam. He represented all of us. He sinned by siding with Satan. He ate of the fruit. And Satan is the prince of the power of the air, right? At one time, Adam was destined, his destiny was to be the ruler of the earth, to be the king of the earth, but he got kicked out. Christ will be the king of the earth. But he has a rival, and this would be the antichrist. I'm just going to put AC. And I know that Revelation does not call him the Antichrist. He's called the beast from the sea. He's the, the man who rises from the dead and and is then indwelt by the spirit of Apollyon who rises from the abyss or the bottomless pit. But the idea of a champion who is basically the representative, the of the whole, of all of his people. And there is an Old Testament story that's helpful in this case when we read the story of David and Goliath. Most people know the story of Goliath. The deal that Goliath and the Philistines wanted to make was that Goliath would be the champion for the Philistines and then the Israelites were supposed to send out their champion, their mighty man who would fight against Goliath. If Goliath killed the champion of the Israelites, then the Philistines would take over Israel. Everybody would be a slave. Everybody would have to serve the Philistines. If the Israelites' champion won, then the Philistines would be subject to Israel. So that was the deal that it's the fight between two champions. And this was even written in Genesis 3 where it's the, the two entities that go to toeto-toe is the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Okay, the, the offspring. And whoever wins, then it's winner take all. That's what this is. And to the victor belong the spoils.
So what Christ did when he died and rose again, he actually conquered death and the grave. So everyone who is in Christ is going to be made alive. Paul talks about this in 1 Corinthians chapter 15. 1 Corinthians 15 verse 21. "For as by a man came death, by a man has also come the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." And this is where we all get kind of tricky with the text. We want to say that all doesn't mean all. That all in Adam, you know, well, yeah, we, we all die and we're all sinners and so on, but all in Christ, all in Christ shall be made alive. Well, actually, yes, because he conquered death and the grave. So, everybody who is in the grave is going to be released from the grave and put into a resurrection body. And then Paul talks about how everybody is going to be resurrected in their own order. Everybody, all humanity, all humanity is going to be resurrected. Christ is the first fruits. The main harvest is all people who are sons of God, believers, okay? People who've accepted Jesus as their redemption, their savior, people who've been born again by the spirit of God. And not everybody who is resurrected is going to be a believer or have the spirit of God living inside of them. But everyone who is will be resurrected prior to the millennium. Then comes the end when Christ delivers the kingdom of God to God the Father after destroying every rule and authority and power. And he must reign till he's put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. So death will be here through the end of the millennium. But at the end, Satan will be cast into the lake of fire. So will death. So will Hades and so will the place of the dead, Sheol or Hades, also called the sea in Revelation. And why is that? Well, because there isn't going to be a need for any holding place for the spirits of the dead. If you're a Christian, your spirit goes to be with the Lord. But anybody else who dies all the way through the millennium, their spirit goes to Sheol or Hades. And it's translated as hell in the New Testament by a lot of, um, translations, but it's not the lake of fire. What it is, it's the holding place for non-believers, for people who aren't Christians. They're all saved because they're all in Christ. They're all saved from the lake of fire. They're saved from the fate that is going to come to Satan and his son, the seed of the serpent, also known as the Antichrist.
Remember, in God's economy, there are only three men who actually matter. Adam, through whom, uh, sin and death entered the world, we all became sinners. And Christ, who conquered death and the grave, and those who are in Adam are now in Christ. That's how this works. And salvation was purchased for all mankind. Out of all mankind, God is calling some people to himself. They are the called, the chosen, faithful people who are called out of the broad spectrum of humanity to belong to God in a special way. The firstborn who need redemption. They have to have redemption. And Christ is our redemption.
The third man is a man that nobody should be a part of. And that is the Antichrist or the beast in Revelation. If people worship the beast or they choose the beast or they take the mark of the beast, then basically they are in the beast. And the, the eternal destiny of anyone who sides with the beast or chooses to place themselves out of Christ and into the beast, going into the belly of the beast, as it were, will suffer the fate of the beast because it's who you're in. Are you in Christ? Are you in the beast? God has made provision so that no one has to go into the lake of fire. He did that through Christ. He saved all mankind. And, "I, when I am lifted up, I will draw all men to myself." Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. And all is all. All is all. Unless you decide you want to go with the beast, who is a man, by the way. He has the number of a man. It's 666. It's the number of a man. He's a man. The three men whose lives actually count are Adam, Christ, and the beast. And God has made a way for us to be transferred from the first Adam into the last Adam. And he begs people living during the time of the end, "Don't take the mark of the beast. Don't worship the beast. Don't worship the image of the beast. If you do, you're going to suffer his destiny."
So, there are people out there who say, "Well, the beast is here now. The mark of the beast is here." And they give all kinds of examples, but no, the mark of the beast is not here yet. The beast isn't here yet. And remember, the dragon is going to give the beast all of his power, his throne, and his great authority. And he has a lot of authority. What's interesting to me is that in, in the course of the book of Revelation, uh, God never says the way to be saved from the lake of fire is to accept Jesus as your savior. Basically, the people who are in Christ but who are not sons of God, that is, they're not firstborn. They haven't been born again of the spirit of God. They're not sons of God in the sense that they belong to him, but they're still saved.
Only three men matter. Adam, Christ, and the Antichrist. The seed of the serpent, and the seed of the woman. Those two men matter. Of course, Adam matters, too. And actually, in Genesis, we see all three of these men. We see Adam. We see the first hints of Christ, the seed of the woman. And we see the first hint of the Antichrist or the seed of the serpent. And it's Christ and the seed of the serpent who are going to go toe-to-toe. Who are the two champions? The Antichrist is, is Satan's champion. Christ is God's champion. And they're going to go toe-to-toe. Now, that happened at the cross, and Christ won. Christ got the victory over the grave, you know, 2,000 years ago. But there are three realms that Christ has to get the victory over. And the first one was the place of the dead. And Christ took the keys of death and Hades. He has victory over the realm of the dead. The second realm that he is going to get victory in is heaven. We read about that in Revelation 12. We read, "Okay, so Satan, uh, the devil, the deceiver, the whole world was thrown down to the earth. And now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come. For the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God, and they've conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they love not their lives, even unto death." So just prior to the reign of the beast, Satan and all his angels are going to be cast out of heaven. And that's when Christ takes authority over heaven. So he has authority over the grave, death, death in Hades. He has victory over the realm of the dead. He has victory over the realm of of heaven. He'll clean out that place. And the third place that he is going to be cleaning up is going to be the earth. So in the process of, of doing all this, all of the fallen angels are going to be sequestered on the earth. So the, the bottomless pit will be opened up and all of those angels who are kept in the pit are going to be released on the earth. And Satan and all of his angels will be cast out of heaven. And there's going to be like four angels bound at the river Euphrates who will be released on the day of the abomination as well. So all the fallen angels will be here on the earth. Satan is going to use all of the events of the end time to make it look like he won. Okay? To make it look like he won. So, how is he going to do that? That's what I'm going to talk about in my next video. Pick up a copy of my book, Convergence. Talk about a lot of really interesting things in that book. Most of them you probably haven't heard before if you haven't been watching my channel. Leave a comment in the comments section and we'll see you on another video. Till then, have a blessed day.
