All right, today is day 40 of no testosterone after being on TRT and steroids for the last five years. So today's going to be a PCT update on how I'm feeling, how everything's going, um whether I'm continuing to move forward, what the plans are moving forward, um you know, after, you know, having come off now for a little over a month.

Um you know, I put out a video several weeks ago talking about why I decided to come off testosterone for, you know, the second attempt. Um and we'll talk about, you know, all that in just a second. Um, and so I talked about, you know, coming off for spiritual reasons, for fertility reasons, other reasons in there. And after that video, I got so many comments, so many DMs, and many consultations actually from many men deciding to come off TRT after long use. Long use, whether for, you know, using bodybuilding steroids for years or just having gone on TRT and didn't like it for whatever reasons or for spiritual reasons. Um I've encountered so many of you that um are deciding to come off yourselves or already are in the process of that. Um and with that, you know, I'm wanting to use, you know, these kind of logs as one a log for myself, you know, on how the the PCT is going, but then two, um that when men are deciding to come off in the future, they can kind of use this as somewhat of of benchmarks of, you know, how they might be feeling um throughout the process. So today I'm going to cover all of that. How I'm feeling from, you know, where my weight is at, strength, libido, you know, pretty much all of it. How I'm feeling across the board, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

So, um, just to give you all recap, if you're, you know, kind of new to the channel or you're new to, um, kind of this PCT process. So, I came off of steroids um, a little over a year and a half ago, almost two years ago now, um, when I retired from pro bodybuilding. I was a pro bodybuilder, made it all the way to 260 lbs um at 5'8. Um and then I came off steroids and then uh the the year to year and a half following that um I was on TRT and I, you know, took my TRT dose from at the average about 175 milligrams a day to where at the very end I was on about 105 milligrams a day. Um and that was before coming off. So I then came off um four months ago now, so back in March, to do a full PCT. I was going to try to come off, recover for fertilities and spiritual reasons, all of that, which I've talked about in other videos. Um, and I rushed it. I didn't do a great PCT. Um, felt absolutely awful. It was one of the hardest times of my life. Um, so I went back on TRT. I went back on low TRT to where the average when I went back on was between 105 and 122.5 milligrams per week. So 15 milligs per day or 17.5 milligs per day. You guys know I prefer everyday injections or or did prefer everyday injections. So, um I knew when I went back on TRT back in March when I had the fill PCT, I knew that I wasn't giving up on the PCT. I knew I needed to give it a real shot. Um, so from the day I went back on, um, it was with the plan of doing a legitimate real PCT, um, giving myself best recovery odds, um, and doing this the right way for someone who has been using testosterone and is so shut down after so many years. So, um, from that day, I considered it phase one. Um, and I've got three phases to this. I'll probably talk about the exact PCT protocol I designed for myself, um, in future videos, but that was phase one. So phase one was essentially low testosterone. Um and you know a big part of this you know so many you know basically all the literature everything for the last decades on talking about PCT and recovery after steroids and all of that is really dealing with um you know the the more of the physiology. So um you know how shut down are is your like intrasticular testosterone where's your pituitary functioning at um all of that. A big factor to why so many guys fail coming off or feel absolutely awful coming off is because where your dopamine and serotonin is is upregulated at to you know when you're on. So when you come off um you know there's a huge mental aspect to this. I'm going to talk about in future videos about you know how you know it's been preached that steroids and testosterone is not addictive and it's not addictive in the same way that you know other drugs are but there is an addictive component to it. Um, and I'll talk about that in other future videos. So, that's one of the hard parts about coming off. There is kind of a it's unique, but it's somewhat of a a withdrawal, um, aspect.

So, um, I went ahead and for the next couple months ran, um, low TRT with HCG, and then on June 4th, so 40 days ago, I had my last test, uh, tes testosterone injection. And I tapered that all the way down. I did a a pretty long slow taper with testosterone. Like I said, my main dose I was on for the last several months was 15 milligrams a day. So, it was already pretty low. So, then I came off and um now we're at uh 40 days. So, this is how I'm feeling.

So, first off, my weight right now. I'm 215 lbs. I have literally stayed between about 214 to 218 lbs for the last like 3 months um is pretty locked in. had many many people comment on Instagram or here on YouTube, you know, not understanding on, you know, why one being on low testosterone or B even coming completely off testosterone, how I'm holding weight. You know, people think I'm I'm running, you know, testosterone still or steroids or or growth hormone or whatever. Um, and guys, you know, by the way, I'm not doing any of that. It I'm trying to come completely off regain my natural my I want to be natural basically. Um and you know big part of that is a spiritual reason but um you know that's top topic for another time but um point is I'm not running anything. I have preached so many times for so many years on this channel that the big factor so many guys are leaving you know on the table why they can't get the results in the gym with their muscle muscle quality muscle density to where muscle actually sticks is their training style. Um, I've told you I do that Dorian Yates highintensity training style and I've done that for years which made me strong as an ox. Um, and with that it just creates another level of density. I've seen this with hundreds of clients across the board. Um, that you know I've had clients that they prefer to do more high volume the you know how 95% of people train um and then the majority of clients that come and they just want me to to literally program everything out. They they want to have the most efficient plan. I put them on high intensity um power building or bodybuilding and the density that comes out out from it um they just don't need you know the the the the same drug load um it's just it's a completely different thing. So point point with all of that is um I've not had problem um keeping essentially the majority of my size um and strength some since coming off and frankly over the last several months. Um, so so far I've not seen a dip with that. you know, I'm not saying I won't, you know, in the future. It might not dwindle down, but I'm not I'm not stopping training or anything like that. So, um I'll get to the differences with training um in just a second, but you know, my weight is holding literally right about the same, and I'm not even having to um be strict with my diet. I've been very flexible with my diet. It's very intuitive. I do intermittent fasting. Um just make sure to get enough protein um and eating clean. You know, you guys know I've done I've done that for years. I've been very strict on eating clean single ingredient foods. Um, you know, very high quality. Um, and that that's such a big part of it.

So the biggest downside to what I'm feeling, this is by far the biggest downside. This is the only extremely notable uh downside is the tiredness. So, one, I'm waking up a lot more tired. And then two, it's like every time 3:00, 4:00 hits, I'm very tired. So, you know, on T on TRT, you know, it's like uh you're kind of always ready to go. You'll wake up ready to jump out of bed. Um you have that kind of sustained energy until you're ready to go to bed. Um now, you know, I'm very very productive um in the morning, I have great workouts in the afternoon, but it's like as soon as the workout's done and it's evening, um I'm pretty dog tired. Um, with that being said, um, while it's very very noticeable, it's not it's not by any means unlivable. You know, when I heard, you know, last time when I came off, um, it was it was very much unlivable. Um, and, you know, I've heard from so many guys that try to come off do it in the kind of wrong way, um, or are are living, you know, hypoganatal, um, and they they they are living with very low testosterone. The tiredness is almost debilitating. Um, by no means am I experiencing that at all. It's just that is a no noticeable thing. It's the most noticeable negative side effect I've I've experienced so far.

So, um, libido libido's calmed down from, you know, where I was when I was on um, TRT. But, you know, guys, like I said, you know, I was on 15 milligrams a day. So, it wasn't like, you know, it wasn't anything like running, you know, 20 200 milligrams a day like what some of guys do with their TRT or if you're on cycle. I was already at a pretty normal amount um for libido, you know, where you know, once a day you're ready to rock and roll. And that's that's the same even at 40 days right now. I've never with this PCT compared to last time. Last time my libido went away. This PCT um I've not experienced any down period in in libido. Um and and guys, keep in mind I'm fully off of hCG. I'm I'm now fully running on I'm in phase three now, what I would say. Um, which I'm now running fully natural. I'm using a clomophene now to get my LH and FSH going and kickstart things, but um I don't, you know, I'm not getting um you know, kind of artificial boost from like hCG or anything like that. And my libido, it's fine. You know, I'm not, you know, still everything's rocking. My wife and I still are, you know, I'm able to take care of everything there. So, no no downside there.

D uh drive and confidence. So, this is something that, you know, me having a a business that demands a lot from me. This is probably one of the things I was most concerned about with coming off. Um, and my drive and confidence has not decreased at all. If anything, um, I've actually I I can tell you I've had one of um, the biggest months in revenue in my business this whole last month. Um, and I don't know if that's because some of my mental has been, um, you know, shifted more business side. You know, I can't even say that because I've been pretty focused on that for a while. I don't know what it is. But, um, you know, I can say it's helped that being in a very busy season with my business, it's kind of kept me somewhat distracted from this. Um, and that is one thing I'll get to a second. You know, this PCT versus last PCT attempt in just a second, but that is one big effect. you know, my business right now is in a very very busy season. It's keeping me um, you know, very involved. Uh and, you know, with it, I've got a lot of fulfillment from my my coaching right now. Um, I'm doing both, you know, heavy fitness and PDS coaching or um PCT coaching. Um and then I'm also doing um a lot of life and spiritual coaching as well. And both of those, you know, really really fulfill me and kind of feed my soul. Um and so you know there's a lot of enjoyment happiness that's coming out of that which is I think would be offsetting you know some of the the PCT effects. Um

So training strength strength is still holding extremely high. You guys know I do highintensity bodybuilding. I only do you know about two sets per movement and I only do about two movements per per um body part um each session. Um I might I might hit say on chest in one week I might hit six working sets. Um, you know, the the reality is it's all out intensity. It's doing things with precise execution, taking it completely to failure, full range of motion, um, very very slow eentrics and time under tension, and keeping tension on the muscle through the entire rep. None of that has changed. Um, strength is still holding, muscle still holding. The only thing I would say, um, that has dropped off and is is somewhat of a downside is I don't get the same pumps. So, um, it doesn't have that same I I'm still getting a pump. Like, I can see it visually in the mirror, but that that kind of that that satisfying pump feeling you get, that's what I don't have now off of off of testosterone. Um, but with that being said, you know, the strength and the muscle still holding, so it's not really a big deal. There is a slight decrease in enjoyment from working out. Um, so I I have a little bit less of that um than before. But, you know, this has been, you know, one, I love it. Two, it's it's been my locked in routine for for so many years now that um, you know, I I I I don't even think about it. You know, this is it's just part of my routine. There's no I don't need motivation to get to the gym and train hard. It's just going to come. I love it. Um, and it's been my routine forever. So, so no downside there.

So, what I can say is the pros far far far outweigh the cons so far. Um, coming off, like I said, I'm day 40. Um, you know, I I feel tired um you know, in the afternoons, but overall feel, you know, pretty great. The only the way I can describe it, the only way I can really accurately describe it, which is not it's not, you know, you'd have to feel it to understand, is I feel natural. And that that's a good thing. like it feels it feels um it feels clear. It feels cleaner. Um and I do feel calmer. I definitely feel calmer mentally. Um emotionally, everything feels a lot calmer. Um but you know, it's just a cleaner, more natural feeling. Um and so I I can say, you know, what what's going differently now with this piece because I guys, by last PCT, I had already given up. I think I gave up at like 28 days or something in. So I'm I'm now, you know, a good bit past that. I I have not hit even close to a crash like what I did last time. I did things very very very differently with this PCT and this was much more of a patient PCT. Like I said with this one I set up three phases and each phase was fairly long. I had phase one which was um TRT plus hCG but it was low TRT. Then I had phase two which was a pretty heavy amount of hCG and now I'm on phase three which is uh you know just in clomophene and and then using natural supplements and everything to to kind of get me kick started. Um so you know this PCT attempt it's you know it's being successful. Um and and like I said you know this you know this goound I put all my attention into my business. I'm also you know while I'm still training bodybuilding the same way I've been doing different things. So now I'm you know I've been uh doing bouldering, rock climbing. Um, I've been, you know, Muay Thai, you know, I've been kind of adding some other things in that just keeps, you know, keeps life interesting. My wife and I have been paddle boarding a lot. Um, we've been outside a lot. So, you know, just, you know, kind of enjoying life. Um, and, you know, with that, it's helped this PCT attempt so much. So, I can say if you guys are in a PCT attempt, um, like so many of you have reached out to me, you know, try to try to get out from the gym because a big part of this, guys, is the mental part. Um, and so many guys that I I run into, they're so afraid of losing the size and their identity in the gym. And if you have your identity in the gym, it's going to make the PCT absolutely hell because the mental is the biggest part of this, guys. Um, so, you know, the more you can kind of have your identity, you know, of course, have have you being a lifting, you know, a heavy lifter, bodybuilder, whatever it is, be, you know, be a part of you, but don't don't make it part of your identity. I had that and it made it made things so much more rough and and now just enjoying life and and just you know really focusing on my clients, you know, feeding them um serving them and then um you know everything is is is great right now. Like I said, the only real downside is just a little bit tired.

Plans right now um you know, everything's continuing on. I'm going to get blood work done. I believe probably about day 60, day 60 or day 75, whatever I want kind of the benchmark to be. But I think I think in about uh 20 20 days or so I'm going to get a day day 60 blood work done. So we'll actually see where the testosterone levels are at. You know, right now based off how I feel, I'd say they're low, but but not abysmally low like they were last time I got it tested when I did the uh the last PCT attempt. So um I'll get them checked then and then we'll we'll do a full review on here how I'm feeling, blood work, all of that. But just wanted to bring you this and like I said guys, this is a little bit of a log for me on, you know, how I'm feeling this PCT tent, all of that.
