Transiting Mercury to natal Mars

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel38:42

All right, so we're always looking at the strength of our opinions, our communication boldness when it comes to asserting ourselves in daily life, and how accident-prone we might be. These are some of the most infamous transits when it comes to smaller accidents or larger accidents if we have other transits that are going on. And then this is, is the trigger. Mars is often the trigger for, uh, outer planet transits. The Moon or Mars is often going to be a trigger, uh, so when we're looking at the conjunction, we have to be careful when it comes to the strength of how we communicate in common life. Our ego and what we're saying, what we're opinionating about, are very, very laced together. So we're very passionate and we have a very hard time with objectivity.

So we are argumentative and not understanding that we are, are as forceful as we are. With all of the hard aspects from Mercury to Mars, we can start a fight, an argument. And with this particular conjunction, we don't see that we have a hand in that. We can often just look at the other person like, "Damn, you know, you, you're awfully big for your britches today." And we don't take a lot of responsibility, if any, for the kind of verbal fires and arguments that we can create on this particular day, or I would say week. Um, it's hard to know what we should really push against or defend against or argue against because we do have this lack of objectivity that conjunctions always bring. There's a mindlessness with which we go about ourselves with a conjunction because we don't have that process of differentiation that is so ever-present in an opposition and commonly present with a square or the other aspects. Remember, conjunctions are, are covert. So, uh, freeze. I count on Son's eyelashes to tell me whether or not we're operating. Um, so sorry, what was that? Sorry, your eyelashes to tell me whether or not I'm frozen. Oh, so with which we operate with this conjunction, and we want to be careful about asserting our opinion for the sake of forwarding our position because we may not have very good arguments. And you really think about the nature of Mars impulsivity when to win Mercury's our opinions. Um, so we can actually be intimidating and people will back off, and we may interpret that as having won an argument, won an e. Oh, no.

All right, so we may just be obnoxious, and we can interpret that as a victory because if people back away and they don't, um, reflect to us, which we see with conjunctions often, people conspire with us, us to allow us to be a creep or to be unconscious about who we are because they don't get in our face. Conjunctions are where people often just got to put their eyes down and know back away or behave or in a way where we are walled off from them, but they're not directly telling us who or what we are. Are so, yeah, we can, um, really think that we are the winner when, in fact, people are thinking that we are just, you know, unreasonable and we have stupid arguments. Um, so what do we really need to say? How far do we really need to go? These are some of the questions that we need to keep in mind with this conjunction. What is really worth pushing for? We could be pretty indiscriminate about just, you know, wanting to be right across the board. And we can really wake up the we that we have this transit and just be like, you know what, what I say goes. If we are somebody that struggles with asserting their opinions, this might be a transit that can help us to, um, you know, push in a way that's uncharacteristic. It may have, we may have some good outcomes worth arguing for. What is going to build respect? What is going to help us to further our position in a way that's really healthy and good for us, rather than has people backing away? Uh, so, you know, some good things can come out of it, but I think in general, we just have to be really careful about what we respond to. Uh, so that takes us to the sextile, which is an industrious, busy, productive time. This is a really good time to, um, launch a business, uh, you know, go back to school, things that are going to require a running start. We are more apt to put our back into organization, working on details. There's a lot of energy that can just go into putting our personal purpose in order. If you have a problem with organization, this is a good week to get things aligned. Um, it's not unusual that we will either lead, direct, influence something in a way that there's a pretty good outcome, and it can be something simple like we are asked to. Oh, no. So we may be asked to lead, we may be asked to direct, and we can have a very good outcome with that with the sextile. Uh, the deficiency is really a blessing for us. This particularly so if there's something you need to organize, that there's something you need to put in place. This is where a lot of our energy is going to be going. So it's just easier to align ourselves with, you know, some of our goals. So our, a lot of our energy is directed towards details. Uh, be careful about how we communicate, as with all Mercury Mars transits, but this one doesn't have us in a position where we're so egotistical about things or so adamant about winning that we can get it our own way. We have a pretty good balance of understanding what needs to be communicated and using the, the correct amount of force, directness, or pressure to successfully get our point across. We are more bold, we do have more assertiveness, but we have a better handle on how to act, actually use that where we just turned the fire hose on full blast with the hard transits. Um, and then later on, you know, and look back and think, oh, you know, probably wasn't exactly the best way to come across. So, oh, chess goes to B. I love that. We should all do that. Uh, so there's a, there's a, um, efficiency with which we use our force on this thing.

All right, so that brings us to the square between Mercury and Mars. Oh my God, we are not easy to get along with on this particular day. Uh, our ego, our force, our desire to win can be extraordinary, particularly if we already have an aspect between Mercury and Mars or between Mercury and Pluto. Uh, this is a transit where we don't have a really good handle on. No, this is Mercury to Mars is what we're talking about. Transit of Mars to Mercury is a longer transit. Uh, but we have the intellect in this case working on our blue force. We have what our organizational ability coming to bear on our ability to win. So Mercury is, uh, more directing Mars in this case. If you have a Mars that is more retiring, I'm sorry, yeah, more retiring, less proactive, this can be a transit. Any of the transits from Mercury to your Mars could be a good thing for you. If you already are somebody that has a Mars that is very forceful or inflated, then this, uh, well, any of the hard aspects are going to be something that's going to put you in a position where you've already got an issue with being argumentative or being perhaps too impulsive with your speech, your opinions, and this may not be something that is going to be helpful. Um, we just can feel threatened. We can feel, with with the square, we can feel, um, diminished by other people's opinions and, you know, really feel like we need to fight back. But we look back at it, we're like, you know, maybe their thoughts weren't really a threat to me. Uh, but we do have some Maur reactions that we need to deal with when we have this transit. And I think that that's something that it helps us to understand or what are some of our reactions? What does it look like? You know, how do we respond to some of the little things? Unless we see our reactions, we don't really know what we do. So we can gain some information about ourselves, usually that's after we embarrass ourselves, though. So we may have to backpedal a little bit, make some apologies. We have this particular square. Uh, so I think we just like the conjunction, when when we get up in the morning, we need to be aware we're having this particular transit. We need to go into the day. You have to look back and match up those dates. We might want to hear that story. Uh, yeah, we, it's really easy to trigger us, to set us up on these particular days. No, we don't suffer fools with this square. And it, it can be helpful if there's somebody in our life that we've had a tension building up with and they do deserve a dressing down. It's probably going to be a little bit more than what they actually do deserve, but again, worth the dialing back. And sometimes need to happen, uh, because we just have conflict involved anytime we have the square. Uh, be careful about accidents with the square. It is so common to have them. Cuts, scrapes, pokes, sharp objects, hot things, burning ourselves. Um, Mercury, no, Mercury was my mark. Oh, the conjunction. Have to look back and see. Just cut myself super severely a couple of days ago, anyway. Um, these are not like life-rening accidents that we will commonly get into. Many times they're going to be things that happen while we're operating a vehicle or dealing with the vehicle, dealing with something motor, lawnmowers, weed eaters, messing with a garbage disposal. Um, we have a buildup of tension that's happening here, and it tends to come out during common daily affairs or when we have FSI things, so we're not paying as close attention. Very similar to just the other day, I'm working on this wall that I'm building in my bathroom and my kitchen, and I had these 2x4, these long, uh, beams set up, and, you know, it's not paying as close attention, close of attention to how I was positioning things and setting things up. He 2x4, one of them fell down, hit me smack in the back of the head. Still hurts. This is like 10 days ago. Just whacked me hard in the back of the head. Broke my coffee container. It's things like that that we, we don't plan for. It happens either in daily life around the house, and it's a result of not of of having not being mindful, first of all, and then having some kind of expression of our nervous tension come out. So we are accident-prone, and we can be attracting people to us that have tensions already within them. They're already themselves spoiling for a fight, or they're already themselves difficult to deal with that day, and then we meet that same energy, and it's not a good combination. So these are not, not the best days of the year. Certainly not the best days of the year to, uh, get together for a, a, uh, a family reunion. It's probably not going to work out, especially if there's people in the family that you don't get along with. Um, all right, so let's look at the trine between Mercury and Mars. This is a great trine for, uh, working hard, working long, concentration, focusing our energy because Mercury, daily life practice, the little things, is coming to bear on the part of our self that wants to win. So it organizes very well the part of us that is energetic. So if you have a scattered Mars, usually this is going to be a great trine because it makes it possible for us to identify what our priorities are in the shorter term, how we're going to most effectively get what it is that we want, and do those things. It's a very simple way to get things done. Um, we are very opinionated, but not in such a way that we are obnoxious. We don't have the knee-jerk responses that would be dealing with with the hard aspects. We can identify more easily how to say something. We don't have to do the backpedaling or the apologizing that we can do with the hard aspects. Um, but we are more forceful, but that tends to work in our favor. We are more cooperative, and we have the energy of the trine, which is, uh, large perspective and ease of combining past and future. That's why we have wisdom with trines. We, we have the perspective and the wisdom to respond to things in a moment effectively, proactively, but not with the intention to leave others out because we understand that that exclusion isn't going to get us what it is that we want. Um, so I don't know that we, um, I don't know that we're really teachable with the trine. I think that we're aware of how we can be effective. Um, uh, yeah, I, I don't think any of the aspects, the transits between Mercury and Mars, you know, render us very open or teachable or flexible. They just show us how well or not, uh, the force of our arguments is going to land. Um, how effective we're going to be. So, yeah, with the trine, um, I think we're using the wisdom that we have to guide us, um, you know, to communicate our own personal position in a way that's just most effective. Um, if we need to communicate our ideas in a way where they need to spread because trines are dissemination of information. These are publishing, associate trine to the ninth house, Jupiter, Sagittarius. This is a great day for sharing our thoughts publicly, public speaking, publishing a, um, newsletter, launching a website. Really, really good opportunities for us to get the word out there in a way that it energetically spreads without creating a backlash. Uh, what we do on this day, we are, uh, more forceful, with more energetic, with more confident. Uh, we might lead. It's not as common as with the sextile. The sextile, we're more commonly asked to, you know, be at the of something that might happen. With the trine, so I think if there's anything that we need to confront, anybody that we need to have it out with, there's a willingness to do that. We're not spoiling for a fight like with the hard aspects, but we will confront if we need to with the trine, and it's much easier to come to a solution, much easier to settle whatever conflict is there.

So let's look at the opposition between Mercury and Mars, where we pretty much say whatever we want to say to anybody that we want to say it to, and we can be in trouble on these particular days. We have to, thank God, it's only one day of the year. We have to be careful about, um, how we respond because we are more across the board reactive with this opposition. Can really have a hard time with seeing how, you know, our participation in something is an issue. We tend to project pretty heavily on these days. Uh, so it, it's how we are presenting ourselves before we even open our mouth that has people in a position where they are ready to respond, and then we'll like see that like, "Oh, oh, you've got yourself already to respond to the." But we don't even realize that it's what we initially put out that kind of causes people to, um, I guess perk up, and then we'll see that in them, and then we're ready, and then that sets us off. So we're very unaware of our frequency. We're very unaware with what we're projecting unconsciously, and then when we get that back, we can be very offended, like, "My God, everyone around here is an idiot today. Do you ever have these weeks? You're just dealing with idiots." So we really have to look at way, what is it that I'm getting it back at large here, and is there something that I might be doing that is engendering these reactions? Um, accidents are very common with this opposition, and we might even blame other people for them, particularly if we get into a car accident or something that has to do with machinery or a motor. Um, we may not be able to see how our own nervousness or a lack of looking two or three times may have played a role in what happened. So, um, maybe one of those situations where we rear-end somebody and and, you know, to see it like, "Well, they, you know, were in this position or they got into the lane in front of me." And well, whichever way you slice it, you probably didn't leave enough room between you and the car ahead of you. Whatever they did, and they may have done a number of things wrong, but you probably didn't leave enough room despite what they did. So it's very hard for us us to see how our own impulsivity is playing a role or our own mindlessness is playing a role in what is happening around us. Um, yeah, be careful of burns, be careful of cuts. There is a, you know, like a tension, see the anger that, um, can come out such a way. We're like taking it out on ourselves, but finding a way to blame outside sources. Sort of like say, if we're working in a kitchen and we're cutting up vegetables, and there's a lot more going on that day than there usually is, you know, there's some arguing around us or there's some more pots clanging, and we cut ourselves like, "Oh my God, if there wasn't so much going on or there wasn't so much tension in the air, this wouldn't have happened to me." And we have to really look at it as a combination of how are we feeling, what's going on with us, and how are we responding to the world around us. So we can actually gain quite a lot of information about ourselves when it comes to our reactions to our daily environment on these particular days. That might make sense to you. Um, H, yeah, that's interesting. More of a constant, constant expression of, yeah, yeah, of ego tension. Interesting. I wonder if you were to have a relationship with somebody that draws a trine or sextile to both of those in some way that, you know, makes a particular square easy. Wonder if that would. You talking to me? Yes, yes, yes, yes. Um, yeah, because sometimes people are the, you know, they can be a tension releaser for certain aspects within our ownself. I'm wondering if that's something that you might want to look for in the future. Some, yeah, maybe I have to look at it. Yes, but I, I found myself, yes, that I'm impulsive here, mindless, mindless, mindless, impulsive. Yes, it's a hard, the, yes, the moment that comes an idea to my mind, I act on it without thinking. Sometimes, not sometimes, very often. Oh, I want it to look not less aggressive, but it's not. Yes. Uh, yeah, I think that's one of those squares that we don't, uh, we don't really see it operating until we're older. Yes, those hard aspects, they, uh, there's something that I think we learn about ourselves as we go along. Oh, somebody that's where too. Yeah, you know, um, we do have to walk on eggshells sometimes around people that do have those hard aspects between Sun and Mars because it can, uh, it just renders us more reactive in general. And with the Mercury Mars aspects, just in transit, H, yeah, we have to watch out, hopefully for just a few days. But if it does contact in a celestial chart, if it does come along and contact, uh, Mars and Mars is already squared to the Sun, and then it's, it's in the 12th house, so it's not, it's, I'm house. Yes, I'm impatient. Yes, but because it's in the 12th house, I'm seeing. Yes, with, uh, yeah, but not doing it. Lots of time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Things in the 12th house. See, yeah, yeah, that's a tough one. Have the Sun in the 12th house. Yeah. Um, so the Mars is in the 12th house. The Mars in the 12th is going to even be more accident-prone. Yeah. Will more of an expression of, you know, I can't act it out, um, you know, obviously, so it will come out side. So, yeah, I cut myself all the time, all the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And another thing to pay attention to is, uh, the meanings of the fingers. They can give us, give us even more information about the subconscious meaning behind it, you know, which finger are we cutting, and what does that finger signal? Oh, yeah, yeah, can show us more about what it is that we're learning. I had my Saturn finger, um, yeah, deeply the other day, and it was, uh, yeah, particular day that, uh, anyone could just get us more information about what we're actually telling ourselves or what's actually, you know, what is the subconscious impulse. Um, no more about. All right, so do we have any questions?
