Hey y'all. This is Troy Black. So, I'm going to share a prophetic message I heard last night, April 14th, with you. Uh, this has to do with something that's happening very soon. Has to do with the the war or the conflict that's taking place.
I also heard a message on April 10th I want to share as well. And that's a little bit longer, a little lengthier, and that has to do with the next election cycle here in the States. And then I also want to share a word that ha that I heard yesterday as well or at least part of it, not the full message, but the part that I'm allowed to share that has to do with the markets. And so that's what I'm going to be sharing today. I'm going to jump right in.

There's a bunch of resources there. Uh if you're interested in any of that, okay, this is what I heard April 14th. Y'all bear with me today. Give me some grace. I just finished filming another message a few minutes ago right before I jumped on this stream. The presence of the Lord came very heavy, but it was also extremely difficult to share. And so if I if if I go down a rabbit trail today, that's the reason why the Lord's here. He's going to help me. And I believe he's going to help us in this season, okay, as the body of Christ. Some of these things may already be starting to take place. You may already be feeling this way. If so, hopefully this is an encouraging word to you uh wherever you're at. But I believe some of this is about to start happening as well.
So, I heard the Lord say last night, "A time of great confusion is coming for my people. They won't know which side to stay with or lean on." And then and the impression I'm getting right now is he's talking about this is going to be the result of a specific event that takes place. Then I heard last night, it will be a heavy moment in history. I want you to be ready for it. When the hammer drops, watch and pray. With the hammer blow comes confusion and dread. Then I heard scary things are a foot. However, a great reckoning of individuals and their souls is underway. And then I heard, "I have allowed this, says the Lord, for the greater good, for the ultimate goal. This is what I'm doing. I am bringing personal individual hearts back to me during this time of confusion and clamor. I will not rely upon the ways of the world nor the systems the church has put in place to reach my people who are entering in who are making their way home." He's talking about people getting saved and converting to Christianity. That's what he's talking about there. Then then I heard instead I am reaching far and wide to capture as many as possible. So is the Lord using the church? Absolutely. Is he using some of the systems in place within the church? Yes, to an extent. But the Lord's talking about how also he's not limited to that. And he can use even the events that are occurring upon the earth and around the world, even things that secular people do or secular deci, you know, decisions being made in order to advance the kingdom if he wants to. Right?
Then I heard this. He said, "This has to do with wartime events and a decision being made at this moment which will affect many in the long run. a decision being made for the sake of peace." So the impression that I got when I heard that was that's what that's going to be the um the argument behind the making of that decision that it was made for the sake of peace and it may be it may turn out that way as well but I have not gotten um clarity on that part but um then I heard this is up just around the corner and so some people say well the Lord would not allow something like that or the Lord would not share that even if he But I I felt led to share the I heard the Lord say Isaiah 22. So I'm going to read one verse here and then the Lord spoke some encouragement into this before I finish this part of it out. Isaiah 22:5. I'm going to pull this up. It says uh come house of Jacob and let's walk in the light of the Lord. This is not the right one. Sorry. That's Isaiah 2:5. They That's later. They very similar. Isaiah 22:5. Isaiah 2:5. Isaiah 22:5. For the Lord God of armies has a day of panic, subjugation, and confusion in the valley of vision, a breaking down of walls, and a crying to the mountain. So this was not something that the enemy did on their own. It's something the Lord allowed, right? So does the Lord allow moments of panic and confusion? 100%. Sometimes it is the Lord removing his protection off of a people, right? Sometimes or or a place or something like that. Other times it is for another goal or another there's another reason that he has in mind, right? But we see it right here. The Lord God of armies has a day of panic, subjugation, and confusion. And the word that I heard was a time of great confusion is coming for my people.
So here's the impression I got from this word though is this is not the purpose of this is not to confuse God's not confusing his people. That's not the purpose of this. But he's saying, "Many of my people will be confused when they see what takes place." And the Lord's saying, "I'm saying this ahead of time so you will know to hold on to me, to hold fast to me to what I've said to you personally, to the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit, and you're going to be okay. You're going to be okay because there's an ultimate reason for this behind this that you don't know of." And the Lord's saying, "I'm going to follow through." And the Lord's saying, "I'm not going to tell all my people everything that I'm doing before I do it. But I'm telling you this ahead of time so you are do not become worried or afraid so that you do not panic when this takes place." This is what the Lord said. He said, "I am sustaining my people even during this time of confusion." This is Psalms 46. This is what the Lord said. Uh I I I prayed and I said, "Lord, is there another scripture you want me to read here?" And I the Holy Spirit said, "Though the mountains fall into the heart of the sea." And so I looked this up. Psalms 46. I want to pull this up 1-4. God is our refuge and strength, a very ready help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear. Does not say everything's going our way. Therefore, we will not fear. No, it says because God is our strength. He is a very present help in time of need. He's a very ready help in trouble. Therefore, because of that reason, because God is with us, we will not fear. That's what they're saying. Though the earth shakes and the mountains slip into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride, I don't know what's going to happen, y'all. I honestly don't. But I do know that this is true. No matter what happens, no matter what takes place, there is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, the holy dwelling places of the most high.
Here's what the Holy Spirit is saying to me right now. He's saying, uh, there are many people in my body that have reacted to words like this and other prophetic utterances out of fear. And I'm saying it's time to come into a place of security and safety in my presence. And the Lord's saying, "That's not what I have for you." Abiding in that place of fear and a place of worry. That's not what I have for you. I have strength for you. And it's found in my sustaining glory. That's the phrase I'm hearing. In the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. I'm right here and I'm ready to help you. This stream, it says a river whose streams makes the city of God happy. This is referring to for us now under the new covenant. It's referring to the Holy Spirit. You know, Jesus said those who believe like rivers of living water would spring up from within them. That's the Holy Spirit living inside of us. And so, where do we go when the things around us are shaking? We press into his presence. We just get down on our face and we worship him and we say, "Jesus, I believe that the word says that I have confident access to your presence in in you because of you." We have confident access in him. I believe that's Ephesians chapter 3, Hebrews chapter 4, that come it says, "Come boldly before the throne of grace that you might find mercy and help in your time of need." We do come boldly before his throne of grace, but we come boldly because of his grace, not because we've done everything right. The streams of living water, that's because we receive the spirit based on what Jesus did for us, not based on our works or our effort.
And here is the problem. This is what the Lord started showing me right before this stream started. This might ruffle some feathers. That's okay. That's all right. Okay. This is what I'm hearing the Lord saying and asking me to do. Uh the Lord asked me to make a response to the Jeremiah Johnson uh scandal that's being exposed right now. So I'm going to do that. Not today, but I'm going to do that soon, possibly later this week. We'll see. But in in responding to that, this is what the Lord showed me. He uh he was showing me that many times those in the prophetic movement will use the words that the Lord has written in scripture or words that they have supposedly heard. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Sometimes it's from their own thoughts or their own minds. They'll use that to control people and to to lead them to a place of fear instead of a place of abiding presence. And one of the problems is they'll say I man I'm hearing this from the Holy Spirit right now. They'll say things like this because it's close to the end or because great things are happening on the earth because it's times of shaking. You need to be more holy and you need to press in and be more pure. And the way you do that is through your effort. And the Lord's saying, "I'm flipping the script right now and I'm rearranging the church, the mindset of the church, because they've gotten it wrong." The Lord's saying, "Your holiness is not based on your effort." And many of my leaders in the body of Christ need to repent right now for preaching the wrong message. The wrong gospel is going from the lips of many of those leaders in the charismatic movement who have put heavy weights on your shoulders. They've placed heavy burdens upon my people and they have not pointed people to the gospel. They have not pointed people to Jesus and what he's done for them at the cross. They've asked people to pursue purity but through the wrong means. I'm telling my people right this is what I hear the Lord saying. I'm telling my people right now to come home to the abiding presence and it's a gift based on his grace. That's what I'm saying to my people right now. That's what I hear the Lord saying. The Lord's saying those who have put a heavy weight on your shoulders and have not lifted a finger in order to help you. The Lord's saying, I'm asking you to dismiss them from your midst right now because it's not going to help you in this season, that heavy weight. Because when you're walking through what feels like a fire or it feels like a river or a wilderness season, when you're walking through the trial, you need as few weights as possible. And I'm lifting the weights off of people's shoulders right now. The Lord is saying, "The true gospel message is very good." And it's what I've asked my people to preach. And they haven't run with it. They've run with another gospel. Man, I hear the Lord saying, "I'm calling out many leaders across the body." The emphasis right now is on the charismatic church. I just feel the fire of the Holy Spirit on this, y'all. The presence of God for me. You pray about this. For me, this word is 100% confirmed. That's just me personally. You still need to pray into it. Every time someone shares a prophetic word, you need to pray into it. Say, "Lord, is that from you?" If you don't get confirmation, put it on a shelf or throw it away. Whatever you need to do, you need to test prophecy like the word says. 1 Corinthians 14, 1 Thessalonians 5 tells us to do that. I'm not going to go into a deep theological dive today, although I've done it in many of my other videos. And if I'll find a good one and I'll link it below if you want a deep theological dive into what the Lord's talking what I believe the Holy Spirit's referring to here that the idea of walking into holiness and purity through his grace and not through our efforts and I've preached on it several times recently because the Lord's been leading me to preach on that recently. I'll put a link below to a video that goes into that. Absolutely. But one verse is Titus chapter 2 which says the grace of God appeared instructing us to deny ungodliness. Another one is uh where the word says it's his loving kindness that leads us to repentance. You know and there are many people preaching right now in the charismatic movement and especially more you know sometimes the holiness deliverance side of things. They're preaching if you're not walking in holiness. It's because you don't have the fear of God. Do we need the fear of God? Yes. The true biblical fear of God because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Absolutely. But it's just the beginning of it. It's not the end of it. Like we need the fear of God, but we also need a revelation of his loving kindness. And if we don't have a revelation of that, we are not going to understand the gospel. We're either going to be preaching or believing the wrong message. and we're going to be lacking the power to change. What does the word say? It says, "Sin shall not be master over you, for you are no longer under the law, but you are under grace." So, what is the power to come out from under sin as our master? It's not a It's not a legalistic list of rules. It's not a weight on our shoulders. It's his grace. It's the grace of God.
I'm going to move on. This is what the Lord said. Psalms uh well, let me read finish reading Psalms 46 first. Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at the swelling pride, there is a river whose streams make the city of God happy. The holy dwelling places of the most high. He makes in verse 9, he makes wars to cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two. So God is able to do this even now on the earth today. He burns the chariots with fire. stop striving and know that I am God. So, what is his appeal to us right now in the midst of when we're walking through the trial? Well, I'm going to I'm going to strive harder, right? No, that's not what the word says. Stop striving and know that I am God. Where is my trust being placed right now? Is it in me and my efforts or it is is it in what Jesus did for me at the cross? Is it in Paul saying, "This is the only thing I want to find out from you." Galatians chapter 3. Did you receive the spirit by the works of the law or by hearing with faith? Man, I hear the Holy Spirit saying, "The works of the law are being put on my people's shoulders to such a great extent that they cannot bear up under it. And I'm releasing them to walk in freedom." Because that's what my word says. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. There is freedom. He who the son says free is free indeed. The Lord's saying if you will enter the believer's rest in this season, you'll start to experience the joy like never before. The Lord is saying, I'm releasing streams of living water. They're already there. You have access to them. But the full effect only applies when my grace is being fully accepted across the board. Man, I hear the Lord saying, "My spirit's here and I'm moving our hearts right now." I don't know who needs to hear this today. That this is a shake me up message, y'all. This is not comfortable me for me to share. That's okay, but somebody needs to hear it. The Lord says in in scripture in uh Psalms 46, stop striving and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted on the earth. The Lord of armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold. So even if stuff is shaking around us, whether that be outside the church, in the world, or in the church or whatever, we're not shooken. We're not being shaken. Why? Because God is our stronghold and he's with us. And how is God with us today? The Holy Spirit came and fulfilled Jesus's promise to say, "I I'll be with you even to the end of the age." Because of the grace of God that was poured out because of Jesus's sacrifice. That's the only reason. That's the only reason. Not because you we've got a good enough track record or we've walked long enough with the Lord or or we've done enough things to finally earn it.
I heard the Lord say this. He says no to the fear that rises in your heart. Say yes to the abiding presence of the Lord in your life. And I heard I am with you and I will help you. I want to show you all this. I was not planning on reading this. The Lord said this right before it started. Colossians chapter 2. I'm going to just go ahead and read it because I believe it applies to what he's saying now. He said, "Take care." So, this is in response to the idea of if I'm in the end times or if I'm in a time of trial or shaking on the earth or whatever the people of God, right? It's it's this is a response to the heavy weight of people of God rise up and walk more holy than you've ever walked in your life because that's going to be necessary in this time, right? Should we walk and live holy? Yes, absolutely. But we cannot do it on our own effort. It must be in surrender to the Holy Spirit and put stepping on the firm foundation of Jesus's sacrifice and believing he has made me holy. He has made me righteous. I am not starting from a place of deficit. I am complete in Christ. And God when he sees me, he says, I will remember your sins no more. And because of that, I get to celebrate today and be joyful and full of the grace of God and the purity of the Holy Spirit and walk in fellowship with him. Hear his voice. Many people ask, "How do you hear from God so often? Has nothing to do with me." Y'all, I could I could air out my dirty laundry all day long if I wanted to. That would be easy to do. And I have. If you haven't read part of my testimony, it's called my mess. I wrote it in a book. You know, I talked about my addiction and laid it out there for everybody to see. And guess what? I've been free from that addiction for 14 years, however long, 15 years now. And that's not me bragging. I'm not bragging because listen, I still struggle just like anybody in the sense that I'm not perfect. I still sin at times, right? But I've been free from that. And how did I get set free from that? the grace of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was God saying, "Hey, you could have something better than going to this for fulfillment. You could have my voice. You could have my presence and it's actually available because of what my son has done and you have constant access to it." So, we, you know, we are going, we're striving to enter his presence instead of accepting what he's done and just admitting I can't earn it. I'm not good enough. Jesus, I have to have your grace today. I have to have your forgiveness. Again, look at this. This is the response unfortunately is because of the time that we're living in. Be holier, try harder, strive harder. And what is the word saying? What is the scripture saying in response? Take care that no one keeps defrauding you of your prize by delighting in humility and the worship of the angels. What's your prize? It's your access to him eternally. Yes. Living with him for eternity. I've been saved. I've been forgiven of my sins. I've been cleansed. I've been called a child of God. It's also your access to him today. The presence of God in my life. His abiding presence. The glory of God on my life. The still small voice of the Holy Spirit. If God wants to speak to me through dreams or visions, absolutely. Because this verse is talking about that in a negative context, but it's positive, too. God can absolutely speak that way. And he does. But it's through his grace. The people getting dreams and visions are no holier than you. They've not done any better than you. It's all because of his grace. And we need to throw off that mindset and that thinking. It's been placed so heavy upon our shoulders and it's not good for us. It's not what the word says. Look at this. Defrauding you of your prize by delighting in humility. It's not talking about real humility. It's talking about false humility and the worship of the angels. This is the man of God syndrome. Well, I'm I'm more humble. I've done I've pressed in. I you know, so I get to have these angelic encounters. I get to have that. And you've got to come to me to get that right. And that's not how the word describes our relationship with God. Look at this. Taking his stand on visions he has seen. Inflated without cause by his fleshly mind and not holding firmly to the head. How do we come to God? We come through Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." We come to him and every person gets to come who accepts the grace of God, who accepts the gospel. says, "From whom the entire body being supplied and held together by the joints and the ligaments grows with a growth which is from God." So I didn't grow myself. I didn't mature myself. I didn't even sanctify myself. But it says the word talks about the sanctification through the Holy Spirit. So he's the one changing me. It says Jesus became my sanctification. How am I changing? Well, I'm accepting the grace of God again today, which is sufficient. I'm putting my faith again today in the gospel and Jesus's work not mine. If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world. So this is the response here is well maybe if I just restrict myself in this area even though the the Bible does not restrict that and or maybe if I just say maybe if I put this heavy burden on my shoulders or maybe if I you know live a more aesthetic if that's the right term life you know we move towards asceticism right we're like I'm going to I'm going to put a heavy weight on my shoulders then I'll be more holy then God will have have a greater access for me what we don't realize is we're actually restricting ourselves from the flow of his grace and no wonder we have a hard time hearing his voice Right? Because we're thinking, I'm coming in on my own instead of receiving what Jes we're throwing it back in his face, you know, and I'm saying this I'm trying to say this with gentleness and with with love. But this is what I've been guilty of doing. This is what I've been guilty of doing. And I've said, Lord, where are you? Why does it feel so spiritually dry? Why can't I hear your voice right now? And you know where the Lord leads me? Right back to the foot of the cross. the nails in the hands, the nails in the feet, the blood dripping, and him doing that despite my sin. It says, "If you've died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees such as do not handle, do not taste, do not touch." See this is the charismatic witchcraft unfortunately that we are we're facing is well if you are facing this issue then the problem is you walked down the wrong aisle at the grocery store and demons jumped on you you know it's like no no are you resting in the believer's rest are you believe putting your faith and your trust in what Jesus has done or are you listening to things that are not of the word and teachings that are telling you do not handle Do not taste, do not touch. Watch which all refer to things destined to perish perish with use. Temporary things, right? Is now Paul is not saying here uh he's not saying sin doesn't matter anymore. That's not what he's talking about. He is not talking about things that are intrinsically sinful and that the scripture condemns. That's not what he's referring to. He's not saying you can do whatever you want because Jesus covers it. No, he's not preaching a watered down gospel. If you read the whole book of uh Colossians, you see that very clearly. He's not talking about that. He's talking about things that the scripture has not condemned, but that we as the church have condemned. And we put a heavy burden on our shoulders or someone else's shoulders. And we said, well, if you want to be more holy, restrict yourself more. And we've gone back under a law, a form of law. Instead of walking in the freedom where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. The freedom we've been given in Christ Jesus. And this is the message that's being preached unfortunately is walk holy in these last days, right? But what happens is people who preach this, they always have hidden sin. They always have hidden sin. Why is that? because they put a standard up saying do this in your own effort and nobody can reach that standard and then they have to hide. When they mess up, they have to hide it because the standard only works as long as they look like they're making it. Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch. Now, can we walk free of sin? Absolutely. But only by the power of the spirit, not in our own efforts. Walk by the spirit. Galatians 5:16. And you shall not satisfy the desires of the flesh. It's only through his grace and his power that we're able to walk free from sin. And now none of us are going to do it perfect even then. But changing from a sinful lifestyle to a holy righteous lifestyle to a godly lifestyle to walking in a manner worthy of a calling which which we receive that's only by his grace and his mercy and his power which all refer to things destined to perish in accordance with the commandments and teachings of man. That's what he's saying. Saying they sound good but this is something that man made up. people made up because it sounds good. These are matters which do have the appearance of wisdom and self-made religion saying they sound like going to make you more holy, right? And humility and severe treatment of the body but are of no value against fleshly indulgence. Saying they don't actually help. Your flesh still wins out. Why? Because you're trying to do it in the flesh. The only How do we do it in the spirit? This is the only thing I want to find out from you. I'm going to look at I'm going to pull this up right now. This is what Paul says. I want y'all to actually see this. This is the only thing. Galatians 3:2. This is the only thing I want to find out from you. Did you receive the spirit by the works of the law or by hearing with faith? He's talking about hearing the gospel and believing the good news that changes us and actually doesn't just change us for eternity. It changes our life. It changes our heart here and now. It humbles us. It makes us realize the desperation of our need, the depth of our sin, but also the height of his grace and the width of his love. How far down he was willing to go to get us, what he was willing to go through to retrieve us, to redeem us. We can never lose that as as Christians. As soon as we lose that, we start doing what it warned us about in Colossians.
This is this is what I'm generally hearing. I'm not going to read it word for word, but I'm just going to share what I'm generally hearing about uh the market based on some of these things, the Iran war or conflict and some of the other stuff that's happening. And then I'm going to share the the word I'm just going to read through quickly the word I heard on April 10th. Um, but what I've been seeing uh during times of prayer when it comes to the market and that kind of stuff, especially with this war time, you know, efforts and conflict, sorry. Um, is that there still are there still are some a couple hiccups along the way, right? The Lord did say it's not over. The conflict, it's not over until I say it's over. I heard that, I believe, yesterday. Um but I did the the general impression I got through the things I heard was that as far as the market is concerned it is more over in the sense that the market is not going to be fully affected. Now I did see some drops along the way but I saw a steady upflow after that right and so many of the people one of the things that I heard was many have overcome the fear involved and are risking it talking about the market itself. So please pray into that. This is not financial advice. Um, I only I hate sharing the market word side of the word, that kind of stuff when I get that. I really don't like sharing that stuff. Um, I shared that today because of I felt like the Lord was leading me to share that part. So, there's that. Um, it's not financial advice. Please don't do things that you believe are gambling, right? Uh, you know, or could be considered gambling. Um, please don't make financial decisions based on what you're hearing here. Um, even the words themselves, you need to pray about them, test them, be led by the Holy Spirit, a financial adviser, wise counsel, research, whatever. All of those things, please. Uh, please do that. Um, there's that.
And then, uh, this is April 10th. This is a word I got about something coming here in the States, uh, that has to do with the next election cycle. And uh the Lord told me earlier today, he said, "I want you to say that this is at least partially a response to all the splits happening on the right at the moment. A fear-based moment, yet a genuine genuine response based on a continuation of the desire to do what's right for the nation, too." And so, this is at least partially going to be a response to some of the splits we're seeing happen on the right and like the looming election, midterm season, and then also the next election season. I heard this. Out of the shadows comes a great awakening. Sorry, reckoning. Then I heard an awakening, a restitution. A group of soldiers will align with the right to form a type of pact, aligning with the ways of old. Ancient paths coming back around. I don't know if he's talking about actual people in the military or if he's talking about maybe veterans or maybe another type of, you know, quote unquote soldier. I'm not sure. And then he said, "They will trigger a movement. When they do this, starting with song, it will erupt into a show of strength, a dashing statement and an agenda quote unquote springing out of nowhere. A stronghold taken down in a day, it almost seems." He said, "This is in this nation and having to do with the next election cycle. A group of soldiers, again, he use that phrase soldiers, calling out to the past and saying, quote unquote, let's go back to the old ways." Then I heard this is where the rubber meets the road. And then he said because some of what this country was founded on was very good and right and there are other things that were happening at that time which were not good. Then I heard not every generation can see the flaws in its own character. Some miss it completely. And he said uh I want you to address this as if I'm leading my people to get behind this mission. However, that does not mean that I wholeheartedly support everything that it is about. So, he's saying this is like a an awakening, a uh a movement that's being started and it's partially being triggered by this this split on the right. Right. And and I believe part of this is going to involve based on what I hear and hear a call back to like that phrase that I heard um let's go back to the old ways, you know, like the things this country was founded upon. I don't know what he when he says a song erupt in you know uh starting with a song maybe there will be a literal song I don't know that or or a an event that has music I don't know something like that um that can be marked you know as like a starting point but um the Lord asked me to briefly mention the issue of slavery in this nation to talk about it just the difference of experience uh you know that like a a black American um versus a white American would have when looking back uh at history, you know, and when we learn about history in school, things like that, kind of the different perspective we might have, right? Um we do need to understand that, you know, in when we talk about the things that this country was founded upon, right? It's very important to realize that there were very good principles. There were godly people, yes, involved, absolutely. But at the same time, you know, there also was evil taking place as well. Um, I just looked this up today to get the the dates and the facts right, but slavery existed and was protected by law in all 13 American colonies when they declared their independence from Great Britain in 1776. So, not only was it a thing, but it also was protected by law. Now, please don't hear this what I'm saying now as a guilt trip, right? or a shaming or anything like that. That's not what it is. I know the political left loves to do that. You know, put guilt on people that don't deserve it, right? That it doesn't belong to. I understand that. That's not what this is. But I believe this is a warning from the Holy Spirit where he's saying there is a part of this movement that's very good. But there's also ways, the Lord's saying this now. There's ways in which I'm calling my people to be a lot more subtle about how far into this movement they're willing to go and how much of it they can support and the things they have to say about it. Um many of the founding fathers unfortunately did own slaves or married into families that own slaves. Some of them did not. Um specifically I believe John Adams um you know one of the things he's noted with saying is that the American Revolution Revolution will not be complete until all slaves were freed. And even history shows if you do the research um I encourage you to do this if you've never read about it, but um there were several of the founding fathers who initially were supportive of or own slaves that later in their life actually began to change their minds. Some of them even joining abolitionist movements after a while. So that was a better ending to the story, you know, than than it could have been, right? But here's the truth is I never want to go back to something like that. like a a system where one people group is looked down upon and and is is abused and and is oppressed and is not treated as equal. And I I don't care who you're talking about in the world or what people group. Like I don't don't want that to happen, you know, because God has called all people equal and God has made all all men and women equal, right? And so when we're thinking about the past, we've got to consider how there are some people who have a different view and a different angle on history and on the past and on the movements that have come out of that, right? And and even a call back to that. Um, this is what the Lord said. He said, "There are some movements you can only get halfway into." He said, "I want this to be one of them." And so that's what I heard y'all. I don't I don't know exactly what this is going to look like, but I really do believe this is going to be an anthem of sorts, you know, like for especially the right in the coming election that the Lord's talking about. Maybe it's going to be the next presidential election in a couple years. I'm not sure. Um but that's what I've been hearing. So y'all pray into that. See what if the Lord will have you, you know, um uh do anything specific there. Um but I just I want to finish like uh with this. This is um what I began to read earlier. Pull this back up and then I'm going to finish. Uh this is Isaiah 2:5. Come house of Jacob and let's walk in the light of the Lord. For you have abandoned your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with influences from the east and they are soothsayers like the Philistines. And so they were acting the same way that the world was acting, right? And what was the call? It was let's walk in the light of the Lord, right? And so we ought to there's the world's way of doing things and then there's the Lord's way of doing things, right? And we ought to walk in a in a different way than the world. What does that look like? Well, Colossians 3, going back to the book of Colossians, verse 12, it it gives us a very good picture. It says, "So, as those who have been chosen of God," this is talking about all people who have believed in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. That's what it's talking about. Holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other. Whoever has a complaint against anyone. Just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also. In addition to all these things, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. It goes on to say in verse 16, let the word of Christ, it's talking about the gospel message, talking about the good news that we have, it gives us access to his to to heaven. It gives us access to eternity with God. It gives us access to his presence, to the Holy Spirit, to the fruit of the spirit, to the gifts of the spirit, to the family of God. It says, "Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you with all wisdom, teaching, and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God." So we should always be in a place of worshiping him, great gratitude, thankfulness and just the love of Christ, you know, and like encouraging and building up one another. It says, "Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father." So we ought to be able to say, "I'm doing this in the name of the Lord Jesus. Would Jesus do this or would he want me to do this?" And how do we answer that question? What does the scripture say? And what is the Holy Spirit saying to me? That's how we know. In the name of the Lord Jesus. I love y'all. I hope this was okay.
