Your dua will become a reality when you understand what kun fayakun means. I've been hearing a lot of people say, "Your videos are too long. They're so long." So, in today's video, I purposefully had my laptop at 19% so that I'm going to be making this video very, very fast. But it's still going to be extremely valuable.
What does kun fayakun mean? It's when Allah says when Allah wants something, he will say "be," and then it becomes. When he decrees a matter, he only says to it, "Be," and it becomes. Allah also says that he created the heavens and the earth, as-samawati wal-ard, in six days. So, if Allah can just say kun fayakun, why did it take him six days to create something?
Because this is the thing. People usually say, they're like, "Allah can just say kun to my dua, and then it becomes a reality. So, why does Allah have to make me go through so much stuff until my dua becomes a reality?" And I'm going to tell you it's because you're misunderstanding both things. You're misunderstanding what al-kawn kun means and al-khalq what creation means.
The word here is "be," kun. It means to exist, or to become, or to unfold into being. So, Allah does not say "do" or "make" or "have," he says "become." Become. So, kun fayakun is not a physical thing that happens in the outer world. When Allah's creating the skies and the earth, the sky is what? What does the sky represent? Like I told you, the sky, the sky represents your spirit, your mind. But in the outside world, the sky represents time. Earth, it represents space. Allah was telling you within space and time, things have to move through it, which means it will take time. So, your dua is going to be moving through the laws of Allah, which will take time.
However, in the unseen world, in the unseen world is what kun fayakun is. This is a command in the unseen world, the world of amr, alam al-amr. So, when Allah says kun fayakun, Allah's saying, "Let this reality be awakened in the unseen." Not the seen world. The seen world needs time. That's why Allah made laws around the seen world, which is time. You have to go through. I mean, think about it. When you were before you came out into the world, it took you nine months to come out. Before you were even able to sit down and watch videos, it took you years for that. So, in the seen world, things will take time. That's normal, the laws of Allah. But Allah can say kun fayakun inside, in the unseen world. And things always come from the unseen world to the seen world. Nothing will exist in the seen world before it was manifest, or before it was a reality in the unseen world.
And that's why Allah says that he will not change the condition of a people till they change their nafs. Where is the nafs? It's in the unseen world. Your feelings, your thoughts, all these things are in the unseen world. So, the divine "be" is instant, but the creation in matter, it takes time. So, kun fayakun transpires from the unseen, and the unseen is your nafs. So, it's not visible like the body, but it's the field where the divine command is supposed to first land. So, when Allah says "be," the first place that word vibrates in is inside you. So, it doesn't change your circumstance, it changes you. It's supposed to change you.
Kun is to be. How? How could something become inside? If you want, people say, "Stop talking about money." Okay, fine. If you want love, if you want a spouse, become love first. Then the love will manifest on the outside. Give it enough time, it will become manifest on the outside. But the issue is that we usually hate the things that are inside of us. And that's what's becoming. That's what's creating on the outside because that's who we are. So, it's simple, it's "be." Become first, and then you'll have the things that you want.
In the middle, obviously, there's the "do," be, do, have. So, you'll be going out and doing things. That's normal. You'll be doing things. But the first step is the unseen, which is the divine command of Allah, which is kun, which is to be. So, this changes your state. Changes your, your, your way of being. That's why you can't just break pray, "Allah, please make me successful. Give me a lot of money." It doesn't really work like that. Allah's not just going to bring an angel and then give you success just like that. Allah is going to give you things that will work around the laws that Allah created. And Allah says, "Sunnatullah will never ever change." What's the sunnah of Allah? The laws around you, the laws that are around you.
That's why if you have two teams that are fighting, playing soccer, whatever, and then they're all praying to the same God, Allah's going to. It depends on what their state is. So, if this team, they're the type of team that usually wins, and they feel that in their heart, as a result, they work super hard to achieve the skills and to be able to basically destroy any opponent. As a result, that's the team that's going to win. So, if this team, they're praying, "Allah, please make us win," but then inside, they're not the type of team that would win, they don't do the type of things that would make them win, they're not going to win. It's so obvious. Does this not make sense? Do you see what I mean?
Now again, if the. How? How much longer do I have? 11%. But if the seed is inside first becoming, now the question that you should be asking is, how do I? How do I activate that within me? How do I change myself within me? And I'm going to be telling you, you change yourself through stillness. Because the only reason why you're not becoming the person that you want is because you think too much. You have a habit of being yourself, and yourself is too limited. Way too limited. What you need to be doing is get past the self, get past the addiction to the emotions that you've had all these years, and then as a result, what starts happening when you get into a state of stillness, Allah himself will transform you. Allah himself will transform you.
And I already told you that if wama tashaoona illa an yashao Allahu rabbul alameen, you don't will for something unless Allah willed for that thing. So, for example, if you want to win at a certain thing, it's because Allah wants you to win. Which means that's already the will of Allah. The will of Allah is already that. And the way you activate it is by becoming still. So, don't be thinking to yourself things like, "What if Allah doesn't want me to be successful? What if Allah not going to is not going to give me that specific spouse that I want or that specific amount of money that I want?" Trust Allah. Allah wants it for you. The fact that Allah placed it in your heart is because he wants it for you. But Allah wants you to first of all get into a state of stillness, a state of sajda, of sujood, of just obedience within. No more thoughts. Don't be obedient to your thoughts. Don't be obedient to your feelings anytime they come, you attach yourself to them. Get into a state of stillness, sukoon. And what starts happening, Allah will make you that person because Allah wants that thing for you. It's so easy. It's so simple. Don't overcomplicate it.
And why stillness? Because Allah says, "I'm near. I'm very close. Remember your Lord within yourself." And in the remembrance of Allah, hearts will find ease. So, Allah tells you exactly where the command of Allah will happen, and it's in stillness. When the heart becomes quiet, it becomes a clear mirror for the command of Allah to pass through. But the noise of fear, doubt, impatience, that's what distorts that command. But in sakina, the nafs aligns with His will. So, the way that you activate kun fayakun is not by shouting, "Allah, please say kun. Please say kun. Say be it." All that stuff. No. It's by you becoming still enough for Allah's "be" to move through you.
That's why the Prophet, peace be upon him, is. How long has this video been? 9 minutes almost. It's so. It's so simple. Rewatch this video. Get into a state of silence. The thing that you want, Allah himself will say kun. Fayakun. Fayakun means you'll become. So, you'll become the type of person that's rich. Walk through the world like you are rich, like you are healthy, like you are love itself. If you're connected with Allah, you're already all of that. You don't need anything else anymore. At this point, just by you moving through the world, doing things, Allah will help you. He will help you reach the same very thing that you've been asking for all along. That's why the formula is kun, be, then do, then you'll have. That's all it is.
But people, what they usually do is that they think, "I have to be doing this. I have to be working super hard, then I'll have that thing. Once I have that thing, then I'll feel. Then I'll be rich. Then I'll be love and all that stuff." Allah's telling you it's backwards. It's backwards. It's "be" first, go and do from that state of being, then you'll have the very same thing that you've been asking for all along. If this whole video was helpful, habibi, should be helpful, right? I'm hoping it is. If it was, habibi, just let me know.
