Why Churches Are Now a Target for Political Chaos

April Chapman34:07

Transcription

You know, when activists feel really comfortable storming into a church service and then calling that free speech, you do realize that we're no longer debating tolerance. We're we're witnessing an invasion.

This past Lord's Day, leftist agitators walked into a Minneapolis church, disrupted the worship service, shouted political slogans, and then claimed a first amendment right to do so. While Don Lemon, he played along claiming that, you know, he's not part of the protest. He's just documenting what happened. But then he tried to pretend as if what he was doing was legitimate journalism, folks. Especially if you name the name of Christ. I need you to listen to me carefully. None of this was an accident. This was not activism. This was a test. And please believe these Marxist maggots are not done. Let's get into this.

Grace and peace you guys. Welcome back to Unshakable with April Chapman where we discuss all things social, cultural, political, and theological from a biblical perspective. I am your host, April Chapman, and welcome to today's show. So, let me first start out by summarizing what happened and then I am going to share my screen and we're going to react to it. But a a group of agitators who are well organized and trained walked into a Minneapolis church this past Sunday. They came in shouting and chanting and berating the the the members there. I mean, they were being very disruptive literally in the middle of Sunday worship. And I became privy to this video late last night. And actually earlier today, I was on the Jwit podcast uh lending my thoughts to it. And I said, "No, I need to make a separate video and cover this for my audience where I'm free to speak and and stop and go as I please." So before I show you this, the first thing I want to do is I need to show you guys this clip. All right. So I'm going to show the clip. And I'm not going to show the whole thing. This is a very long clip. It's about a 16-minute video, but there's so much to unpack here, and I want to be sure that I'm doing it justice. So let's take a listen.

Today we had the honor to protest with Nikima Armstrong and the Racial Justice Network just like Jesus did. We went into that church and we flipped tables peacefully.

>> The Lord in your house to pray you are in your house.

>> That is correct. JUSTICE

>> RENEE GOOD. RENEE GOOD.

>> RENEE GOOD.

>> Reneice Rene. I am sorry. SHAME ON YOU.

>> WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOUR PEOPLE?

>> WHY ARE YOU NOT AT WIMPLE EVERY DAY FIGHTING FOR THE HUMANITY, STANDING FOR OUR PEOPLE? WHERE ARE YOU? YOU DRINK your coffee. You got your jewelry. You have your nice clothes. But what do you do? What What do you do to stand for your Somali and Latino communities?

>> I'm not going to comment. You have no comment. Exactly. YOU SAY YOUR NAME.

>> SAY YOUR NAME. GOOD. SAY YOUR NAME.

>> RENEE. GOOD.

>> SAY YOUR NAME.

>> RENEE. GOOD.

>> FREEDOM. WE HAVE A DUTY. FREEDOM.

>> We have a duty to win. We have a duty to win. We must love and support one another.

>> This is unacceptable. It's shameful. It's shameful to to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship. But but there are folks who will say I have to take care of my flock.

>> Listen, we live in there's a constitution in the first amendment to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble and protest. We're here to worship. We're here to worship Jesus because that's the hope of these cities. That's the hope of the world is Jesus Christ.

>> Be very respectful. Please don't push me though.

>> We're We're here. We're here to worship Jesus. That's why we're here. Okay. That's why we're here.

>> You guys, I'm sorry. This This is the third time that I've seen this. And every time I watch it, there is a a righteous indignation that stirs up within me. But then there's also there's this spirit a spirit of we must when I say take action meaning we need to g up our loins and the people of God the people of God unfortunately many of us are not as equipped as we could be. Um, we perhaps we've fallen asleep at the wheel. Perhaps we've gotten a little bit too comfortable. But there is a lot that I want to say about this. And let me let me do this first. I noticed that the very first voice you heard was a loudmouth, super high calorie black woman who identified herself as a reverend. Okay, so make note of that. These people are using religion as a smokeokc screen, attempting to subvert and usurp the actual authority that Christ has over his church. And they are trying to insert a new head. And and this the head of their church is Satan. And so what they are doing is they are borrowing from biblical language and attempting to borrow from our worldview using our words and our language, biblical language, but they mean very different things. And so they enter into this church which is private property. Like a a church is considered private property. And they claim to assert their first amendment right. But what they failed to understand is that your first amendment right does restrict the government. Right? But you don't get the right to assert a first amendment privilege inside a church on private property. Your freedom to assemble does not include this house of worship. So disrupting a religious service is not protected speech and you don't get to claim the constitution while violating it. Okay? So this wasn't a protest you guys. This was a Marxist tactic that is used as a form of intimidation. It is intimidation theater. They staged this for a a a number of reasons, but one reason I believe this was done was to see whether churches will submit, freeze, and not know what to do or comply. Right? So now how is it that people who claim to love the constitution and want to hold you to a standard you meaning the church to a standard a biblical standard and a political standard i.e. the constitution. It amazes me how they were willing to violate it. They didn't take this protest to a courthouse. They didn't storm a a police precinct. They walked into a church. They walked into a house of worship with their shameful rhetoric and their bullying tactics. But why did they do that? Well, I believe they did it because for one, these aren't Christians. That lady is not a pastor. Okay? She's illegitimate. These are atheists. These are atheists who hate God, which means they hate the church, which is the bride of Christ. The other reason that I believe they did this is is to this is the legacy whether you want to admit to it or not. This is the legacy of MLK. Where did they learn this? You might be asking. They learned these provocative uh uh protesting nonviolent aggressive tactics. They learned it from a Marxist communist agitator who also pretended to be a black Baptist preacher. These are his Marxist offspring who are using the church as a place of social justice using the church to bring their tactics and try to hide behind the veneer of religion to push what they really want to push, which is open borders and more chaos. You guys, they are perverting the gospel of Christ and trying to turn it into something else. Listen, Christians, I don't want to be too hard on my brethren here because I really do believe that this is a godly gathering of believers who were blindsided and they were caught with their slip showing. And I can guarantee you, they are really going to rethink how they do ministry. And this pastor, it is my prayer that he does some introspection to realize or at least admit and say, "We were not equipped to properly deal with this type of confrontation." And Lord, forgive us. Forgive the men here who didn't stand up to these agitators with action. Now, here what I am saying. I am trying to convey to you guys, my audience, that because just because you are a Christian doesn't mean need doesn't mean doesn't need to mean I got to slow down and I got to calm down because y'all see how this has got me all riled up and we've got so much more to look at. But being a Christian doesn't mean that you need to be afraid of confrontation. Okay? We we don't seek or or or attempt to provoke confrontation, but we dawn for sure we don't run from it. Okay? Don't confuse our Christian charity and our pleasant way that we want to engage and be nice to you. Don't confuse that with something else. Okay? Silence doesn't always equal peace. But at the same token, peace is not the same as passivity. And I think a lot of times Christian believers, we conflate the two. The other point I want to make is tolerance is not one of the fruit of the spirit. These people came here to purposely cause confusion and they did it in the name of a false god. They tried to hijack the God of the Bible and insert it into their movement. And the God of the Bible is not a God of confusion, but of peace. But you'd actually have to know the scriptures, believe them, and submit to them for you to understand that. Particularly Don Lemon here, right? These people came here to threaten and to intimidate this church, namely one of their pastors who is associated and affiliated with ICE by way of his employment. And their goal was you are they are going to require you to submit to their demands by their standard and not a biblical standard. Let's continue.

>> That's what we're about. Don't you think Jesus would be understanding?

>> We're about love these folks.

>> We're about spreading the love of Jesus.

>> But did you try to talk to them as a as a Christian?

>> Everyone is willing to talk. Okay. I I have to take care of my church and my family. So I ask that you actually would also leave this building. You don't want us to come here. Lift you here to worship. always worship. I'm a Christian. We're here to Well, we're here to worship.

>> Don, you're not a Christian. You don't get to keep, celebrate, highlight, and lead with your sin and claim to be a follower of Christ. This is what cultural Christianity has produced. It has produced people like Don Limmon who believe that if he just convinced it says that he's a Christian long enough that he just will become one versus understanding that to be a Christian means you have to be born from above and you have to repent believe the gospel and you become a new creation. Don is the same saucy sodomite that he was when he was on CNN. If not he's more of a now than he was back then. Don is not a Christian. He doesn't submit to the lordship of Jesus. He doesn't have a love and a thirst for his written word. If he did, he would understand that his actions right here are wholly unbiblical and he is violating scripture all while claiming to be a disciple of Christ. We reject this. Don is not a brother in Christ. He's a rambling repbate. That's what he is. He's been given over to the lust and the impurities of his flesh to do what not ought to be done. As Romans 1 said, claiming to be wise, this man has become a fool. And he is exchanged the worship of the one true God, worshiping the creation rather than the creator. You guys, this was not some random disruption. This was strategic exhaustion. And I'm going to explain what I mean by that when we take a look some more.

>> Okay. Thank you very much.

>> As you can see, all these PROTEST HERE. You're here to worship.

>> I'm always worship. I'm a Christian.

>> We're here to Well, we're here to worship. We're here to worship. Okay. Thank you very much. As you can see, all these pretend Christians, all these comfortable white people who are living lavish, COMFORTABLE LIVES WHILE CHILDREN ARE DRAGGED INTO CONCENTRATION CAMPS. YOU'RE LIVING REAL LIFE, NICE lives with your lattes. Listen to all the lies. The accuser of the brethren calls these people who are gathered here to worship fake pretend Christians. And then he attempts to weaponize the fact that they've got lattes and that they are comfortable and that they are white to imply that people who don't have lattes and people who are not white are somehow inferior or that I think what let me listen to what he's saying again because I lost my train of thought here. COMFORTABLE LIVES WHILE CHILDREN ARE DRAGGED INTO CONCENTRATION CAMP.

>> THAT'S the lie. He mentioned that children are being dragged into concentration camps. Where is that happening? They are conflating the lawful apprehension and extraction of people who are lawb breakakers who have broken our laws and who've come here to actually commit crime and terrorize or simply exploit and take advantage of America. He is saying that the apprehension of these individuals is akin to children in concentration camps. And this type of verbiage is done on purpose. the the goal is for it to to emotionally en engulf you and enrage you and to make you think that you know the freedoms that I experience here as an American. I should be ashamed for that. I should be ashamed because the Lord has blessed me with warmth and food and shelter and clothing. This is so wicked and shameful. You are literally listening to someone possessed by a demon speaking this perversion. These are perverse ramblings of someone who does not know God, who does not know his word. He's doing the very thing that Satan did to Eve in the garden, which is distort what g what God had already spoken. He's doing the same thing, the taunting that that that Satan did when Jesus was fasting in the wilderness, just lying, attempting to keep to take Christ's eyes off of his mission and to have him focus on something else. This is such an evil and wicked thing that happened at this church yesterday. And I promise you guys, I'm going to let y'all watch some more, but we're going to break it all down. You're living real life, nice lives with your lattes, doing absolutely nothing for your Latino and Somali brothers and sisters. You You come HERE TO A MAN WEARING A SUIT IS A PREACHER. Did Jesus wear a suit? Did Jesus profit OFF THE WORDS? NO. JESUS WOULD DIE with you touch me. Touch me again and see what happens.

>> He's trespassing and then says, "You touch me again and see what happens." Out of like you about to get touched and not by an angel either. No, you about to get these hands put on you. He should have been physically removed from the building. I I love my brethren and I love my brothers in Christ enough to tell them the truth. There is no way you should have allow allowed this man to terrorize and intimidate these the women and the young children that were sitting there or the teenagers or the young adults. The men should have been like, "No, we're not this. We're not having this. Y'all got to go. They should have put them out. Physically removed them. That's what this was. Organized and strategic. These leftists, Democrats, they are absolutely evil, but they are organized. And I am hoping that churches see this and they are able to equally strategize and organize and be prepared the next one of these these these these individuals who decide to strategically pull up on the church that there's a strategy they we we need to go on the offense. We need to be prepared for when this happens again because it is going to happen again. Um, this whole entire ordeal is about 16 minutes long and for the purposes of of this video and for brevity sake, I don't have time to react to the whole thing. I don't I I'd love to. Maybe I'll do it in a live stream. I don't know. But let me explain to you what the strategy behind this and and what they're trying to do. The Democrats are attempting to make enforcement of immigration law so painful that local municipalities and the federal government will stop trying to enforce it. They want to create so much chaos and they want that chaos to be so normalized that people retreat. People say, "I I'm dis I'm disconnecting. I'm disengaging. This is team too much." The whole goal is to overwhelm everybody. Churches, the private sector, they'll roll up to businesses. I mean, don't be surprised if they roll up to your house next. But they want to overwhelm systems through volume, bringing lots of numbers and individuals with them all so that they can cause confusion. I'm telling you, this illegal immigration issue, it is such a hot topic and a source of contention because these evil jokers, they need illegal immigration to survive. Mark my words, Democrats, clip it. The Democrat party, they need illegal immigration to survive. The very future of their party depends on it. You're watching desperation for power. Illegals, dear ones, if you don't realize, equal votes for them. You, and here's the thing, you don't need millions of votes from these illegals in order to destabilize a district or a state. You just need the small margins. 5,000 votes here, 10,000 votes there, 100,000 votes here. That's all you need to maintain power or to flip a seat from red to blue. Democrats know this. This is why they have bribed, yes, bribed these illegals with the free stuff. They are making it, Democrats are making it incredibly difficult to remove illegals from this country because they want to make it so hard that we won't even try to send ICE in these other localities. They want to wear us down. They want to wear the Trump administration down so that they just give up. They want to discourage people from signing up to work for ICE and to work with law enforcement to come and get these illegals and take them back home. And they also know we have a very limited amount of time to get this done. They want they want to push this agenda so hard that the Trump administration just gives up and finally says, "You know what? Don't even worry about it. We We're not even going to go to Chicago or or New York or LA. This is too much. They They're trying to cause so much mayhem and and and chaos that Trump will just give up. But here's what I think. Donald Trump. Do y'all remember up in Butler, Pennsylvania when he got shot and he rose from the the ashes of of of ducking the bullet and he rose up and he said, "Fight, fight, fight." Do y'all remember that, y'all? He meant that. Donald Trump is fighting, but they're fighting, too. That message goes both ways. This is a death fight that we are in and Donald Trump knows it. And the American people, the Democrats are doing this because they already know by and large the American people are not voting for what they are selling. We don't want what the left is pushing. We've uncovered so much fraud, so much il um um illegal activity and and illegal immigration that these illegals, y'all, they have come here to our country to plunder this nation. They are coming here to do to America what was DONE TO AFRICA. JUST COME here and exploit the hell out of it. They are effectively colonizing America. Yes, we're being colonized and this is an invasion. And if you're not seeing it now, I don't know what it's going to take for you to see, but do you see it now? Is this what you want? They've come over here taking all of our resources and making us the slaves to be subject to them. I've seen the Somali videos where they actually in so many terms say that watching us work, WATCHING US TOIL ALL DAY LONG. They're making slaves out of the American people to where we work to serve them. And they've gotten so bold that they have pulled up to our places of worship. Can y'all believe that? the the these lesbian sodomite degenerates have pulled up to a church and you don't think they're going to pull up to your house. You don't think they are absolutely probing you just to see how much of this you're going to tolerate. I'm telling y'all, the end of tolerance is here. This is not a game. And if you don't wake up, arm yourself, educate yourself, apologetically, be able to defend yourself and physically, they will take over this nation, and we'll never seize it back. So if if if these activists feel bold enough to disrupt a worship service, I am telling you your silence is the invitation that they needed because I can guarantee you, oh, they won't pull up to a church down here in the south and do this. They the first of all, the propensity for them to not walk out of there alive is too high. Okay? That's just the truth. They did this in a city where they know has strict gun laws and where the Christians are a little bit more passive than most. And I'm not saying that to be disparaging. I These are my brothers in Christ, my sisters in Christ. They got caught and their head wasn't on the swivel. But I am praying this video makes it to them and they're like, "You know what? They not gonna catch us out here no more." I can guarantee that. This is why the job of a pastor, a shepherd. Pastors cannot be conflict avoidant. They cannot be politically neutral on these moral issues. And most of all, they cannot be afraid of men. Fear of man is what got us here. You fear God, not man. We are admonished to be watchful, to stand firm in the faith, and to act like men. Be strong. The early church was not without persecution. But they didn't survive Rome by blending in. They survived by standing firm. They preached the gospel anyway. Yes, many of them lost their lives. But is this gospel not worth dying for? I don't know about you, but the gospel that we preach, I will die. I will die for this gospel. And I will die for what it is that I believe in. And I'd be darned if I'm gonna let these evil people get a foothold and take over. Absolutely not. If if Jesus died for me and purchased me with his blood, the least I can do, I ain't going out without a fight. And whoever loses his life gains it. But he who's trying to preserve his life. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? Listen, I don't know where we got the idea that tolerance is some sort of virtue, but now these people are using tolerance as a weapon and the Democrat pattern is always the same. They demand tolerance and then once they feel they've got a foothold there, then they punish those who resist. They will punish resistance. Redefining your dissent and your push back is hatred. And then those of us who stand with conviction, they'll criminalize that. I'm telling you, tolerance always ends with intolerance toward the truth. Once a movement enters the sanctuary, it will not stop at the sanctuary. This is not the this is not the end that we've seen of this. Listen, biblical churches, they must watch as well as pray. And I'm not playing. I carry my 9 millimeter everywhere I go. If you trespass on my property AND YOU JUMP IN my face, oh, I will send you to meet Jesus one way or the other, you going to go out of here one way or the other. Yes, you going to get the gospel, but you going to get this work, too. Don't play with me. We need to stop confusing love with capitulation because Jesus wasn't passive in the temple and neither should we. We should not be that way. Jesus is our model and our example, but they're trying to twist and pervert what Jesus did by going into the temple and flipping the tables. They've perverted that. I'm telling you, they are probing you to see just how much you're going to tolerate. And what you tolerate today will be forced. You will be forced to celebrate tomorrow. The church was never called to be safe, but we all called to be faithful. And and if chaos walks into your church, it is time to stop whispering about peace and whip out the sword because truth doesn't bend and neither do we. And it was shameful what these people did. But it was also shameful for the men in this church to not stand up and escort these people out. I have a resource I want to share with you guys. Um, you can order physical copies of this resource resource. Just give me one second. I'm going to pull it up, but I want you to see it and then I'm going to show it. This resource right here is called the theology of politics. the case for mass deportation, the immigration crisis as a national emergency. When I tell you this resource is such a blessing, it's a blessing. For one, my friend wrote it, Virgil Walker. He's doing an amazing job over at um the Freedom Center at Liberty University writing for them and giving them a biblical framework in which to flesh these things out. My church has had copies of this available to educate the church on how to respond to this. And let me just read this quote to you from Virgil. It says, "Mass deportation is not radical. It is rational. It is not cruel. It is clarifying. It represents America's reclamation um um reclamation of its sovereign right to determine who enters its territory and under what conditions." And so it's well researched and it gives you um a bipartis explains about the bipartisan betrayal how both political parties have enabled this crisis. It gives you a timeline of the historical shift from control naturalization to open borders. And then he lays out the biblical case for border security and the rule of law. I'm going to link it into the description box of this video. And I will also link the fulllength video of of of this confrontation. But this was incredibly shameful and embarrassing to watch and I wanted to cover it to to let the people of God know that this is unacceptable. It is not okay. These people are uncchristian and they are trying to weaponize the Christian faith against you to shame you into silence and you cannot allow that. You cannot allow that. But I am curious to know what do you guys think? Do you believe that the individuals who walked into this church trying to assert their First Amendment rights were actually Christians or are they just cosplaying as Christians? Are they doing what MLK did, which was hide behind the cloak of religion, pretending to be a pastor, but really he was a social warrior, justician, utilizing unbiblical, uncchristian tactics to usher in unbiblical and uncchristian worldviews because that's what these people are doing. These are his offspring. Do not think that what they are doing was much different than MLK because it is the same. These are his people. These are his kinsmen according to the flesh. And now they are revisiting the same tactics. And the question is, what are the people of God going to do in response? I'm curious to know what do you think. Leave me your thoughts down in the comments box below. And until next time, you guys, stand firm, stay bold, and above all else, stay unshakable. Grace and peace.
