So we know that Pluto is about sweeping changes and about dealing with hard things and uh transformation and breakdown and repair. So when we have the Sun conjunct to Pluto, it is not the best day of the year. Uh, the Sun conjunct to Pluto, the Sun squared to Pluto, the Sun opposite to Pluto. I'm not sure about the in conjunction because I haven't studied it, but these are days when we are dealing with, we're we're dealing with hard things. We're we're we're dealing with what has to be confronted in order to be fixed or repaired.
So when we have the Sun conjunct to Pluto, we, I feel that, um, you know, we're thinking a lot of of dark thoughts. We're not feeling extremely good and we can even be focused on the end, focused on death, focused on the inevitabilities of life, focused on loss. So we are focused on fixing something on this day and it doesn't have to be, it doesn't have to be a relationship. It could be machinery, uh, it could be a variety of things, but we are, uh, having to turn our attention to what has to be repaired or fixed.
So there can be, um, hard forks in the road when it comes to relationships. We do have the conjunction, the square, or the opposition where we can come to see that this has just got to change or, you know, I I I can't continue with it. And we have to bring our attention to do doing things that normally, you know, we would avoid. And we have to be careful about reacting instead of responding to people that we think are trying to assert power over us or gain some amount of dominance over us. We need to be more thoughtful rather than reactive because this is a period, um, out of the year when we could, uh, defend ourselves correctly. And if we, because it's it's not an overt transit, the conjunction, it's not as overt as a square or an opposition. Oh, I thought I'm getting sleepy all of a sudden.
So we have to, uh, we have to grow usually through dealing with distasteful things is what I'm getting at. Sometimes we can actually come into contact with somebody that is an example of Pluto, a living breathing example of Pluto. So somebody that needs, uh, repair help, uh, is somebody that has experienced a lot of loss, um, somebody that is involved with crime. It's not unusual that we can have encounters with crime or criminals when we have the hard aspects to some from to Pluto in transit. So we do want to be careful about where we choose to place ourself, not as careful at the conjunction as we need to be with the square or opposition. But we can find ourselves encountering dangerous people or dangerous situations.
Okay, so if we are dealing with a situation in our life that has come to a crisis point where it's broken down and we have to fix it, we have to do something, then we're going to have to deal with them in a different way. We're going to have to, uh, typically demand some kind of debt be repaid or, you know, a lesson is learned, but there's some kind of consequence that is typically being meted out here. So this isn't, uh, the day of the year where we're thinking positively, not at all. Uh, we may feel that people are trying to oppress us or assert power over us, not an unusual thing with the conjunction. And, uh, if righteously we need to defend our ourselves, then okay. But more likely than not, um, unless we have other supporting transits that are talking about really genuinely being oppressed or controlled by somebody, it does tend to be in our head for a few days.
So when we come to the sextile, it's actually easy to make necessary changes. We recognize what needs to be changed, what needs to be changed, and it's not at a crisis point that we choose to do it at. So we want to, because it's a sextile and we associate sextiles with Mercury and Virgo, we want to get things cleaned up in our life and in our environment. So we can do a lot of purging when it comes to what is extra to us, cleaning, arranging. This is our way of, uh, finding some amount of of appropriate control over our life and throwing out the old, getting rid of what's just clutter now. So it is a very useful transit.
Um, we have to remember that Pluto power, that Pluto is one of the, uh, it's one of the water planets. It's a planet that represents the connectivity between all of us because that's what water is. Water connects all of us. And, um, if we are being selfish, we do need to be, uh, cooperative. And it's usually easy to be, and we are cooperative in terms of what can we put our collective efforts into in terms of exposure or, uh, you know, forcing some kind of issue or having, um, uh, you know, success when it comes to the the complaints. All right, my rhymes here. So we're not, it's not a day when we're concerned with superficial things. We we do want to be involved in what is meaningful and what has, you know, some gravity to it. Um, but it is not the loudest day of the year and it is not the most confrontational day of the year either.
So that brings us to the square. Um, not a great day. Uh, we can feel like there's pressure on us from multiple sides. And we look at what, what do we need to do in order to have an easier life because we feel pressures coming in on us from all angles. And it makes us think, how can I live in such a way that I could have more time and more peace and more room? So I think it really makes us look at, oh, how much are much our old stuff and our patterns and our insecurities and how much this really controls us. So it is a, I can't read here, so letting go of, uh, old ways makes room for something new. So we may find that we have to say no to things. When we have the Sun in the Square to Pluto, we are probably saying yes to some things when we have the sextile, but with the square, we are doing a lot of giving up. And we're looking at what is it, it that I I seem to want so much that might actually be making me unhappy, even though I want it? Is that something that's good for me? So I think we look at our cravings. We're also going to be looking at authority figures and we are asked to prove ourselves to some degree during the week that we have this or, um, you know, take responsibility for our work or who we are or what we said. And if we feel justified, we have no problem. But if we don't, and this is the test here, uh, if we don't feel justified, then we're going to be very reactive. We're going to feel like we've been a failure. And and that's what we run the risk of with all the hard Sun Pluto transits, is you feeling like, [ __ ] feeling like a failure. So we also have breakdown in relationships, breakdown in situations, breakdown in, uh, machinery to contend with and deal with that entire week. But because we're under pressure, we prove ourselves because things are going wrong or we have to scramble, we prove ourselves, maybe to ourselves, prove ourselves to ourself. But it does increase our resilience through dealing with a what requires confrontation, what has broken down and needs to be fixed or repaired. So very interesting. So what do I want to say about this square? Let me see. No, I think I think I'm good.
All right, so we're going to look at the Trine. The Trine is interesting. Uh, usually, you know, we associate trines with just good things. We can actually use the Trine for good or bad depending on, uh, what our will is. So we have a really good insight into what's going on within ourselves, you know, our own, uh, inner motivations, insight, and our our own relationship, uh, you know, between what's in here, what's underneath, and what's happening out there in the world, you know, how the one results from the other. We're we're much more aware of that this at this particular time. So I think that it brings a bout of wisdom, even if it doesn't stick. We do get, you know, we we do get some some good things out of it. So we can feel particularly strong, willful, ambitious, and all of that can pay off. But we have to remember that Pluto can't be you. There's such a temptation to do that, but when we are when we're sucked into that, um, when we're sucked into that, we're digging our own grave when it comes to karma because people will come back at us if we haven't been fair with them, if we've used them in any way because that's what Pluto is, it's using or enrichment. Uh, we aren't quiet and, uh, we can even be very demanding, um, because I think we get a shot of know resilience for a few days or for a week or so. Sometimes we can, uh, make our mark during the Trine. We can be very impressionable and it's an actually a very good time to go for a new job, very good time to put yourself on the market, so to speak, when it comes to profession. It can pay off very, very well and we show up very well, uh, in interviews because there is this, um, this strength or this ability that comes through. All right, so that's that about the Trine. I think that's about it. Working out, working out, that's something that, uh, can be helpful, pushing our limits when it comes to working out or expelling some of that, uh, nervous energy.
All right, so let's look at Sun opposite Pluto. Um, again, a lot of, well, maybe not a lot depending on who you are. Um, if we have to make changes, if we have to be freer, if so, if we need to update a relationship, then we could have some issues with the opposition from Sun to Pluto. So we see things in others, we see things in how other people react or how they respond to us that make us question of what we must be doing or what's emanating from us. Um, and there can be, uh, some problems, breakdowns, decay in relationships are going to do that because this is just a yearly transit, but we can see that at least in the, you know, weeks preceding the opposition, we can feel something changes if it does occur. So we have more breakdown and repair that is needed. And this is just limited to relationships. It's the things around us, it's our car, it's the machine that we use, the appliances that we use. So we can feel very ambitious and we have the need to affect the world through our own creative or personal power coming to a peak when we have the opposition. Yeah, I think that, uh, we can be, we can be cooperative if we realize that, that we can't go it alone. If if we aren't seeing things through the lens of our ego, we can be cooperative under the opposition. We can really learn that lesson. The combined power is a good thing and it isn't a threat to the personal ego. So if we need to make some hard turns, some hard changes, this can make it very obvious that that needs to be done. This can be a timer, transit if we have a buildup of other outer planet transits going on.
Okay, so we never want to put ourselves in a situation where we could be hurt or a dangerous situation because we can attract, uh, well, we can attract jerks, we can attract, uh, people that do want to hurt us, um, under these particular transits. And I think that we need to remember our softness. We need to remember our humanitarian. We can be very protected with the hard transits and like attracts like. So we need to be careful not to go in places where we know violence could occur. It doesn't mean that something will happen to us, but with the hard transits, we just want to be conscious that, um, you know, our own internal conflict and anger and you and emotions, that that's something that could be reflected to us as an event or a condition or circumstance or a person.
All right, so it may feel that what we've been working towards is reaching a peak, at least what we started, uh, at our birthday, the the kind of effect that we want to to have. If we want to make a difference, we can really feel like, um, we're starting to see that we're starting to see some of that payoff come in. All right, so I think anything with an opposition to Pluto, be it the Sun or anything else, we are probably going to have people opposing us somehow. And, uh, we can't go it on our own. We can't do things alone with the opposition from Sun to Pluto. We have to have inclusion that is there but balanced with the individual. So it may be that, uh, uh, that we're able to be effective through identifying what's good for all of us or feeling feeling like, well, you know, I like this, but it's also, you know, good for everybody else. I kill two birds one stone. So yeah, we just have to be very careful that we aren't being selfish and then we can get the best out of these transits.
