[Music] [Music] We believe there's only one true God. He created everything: the heavens, the Earth, and us. He's the giver and sustainer of life and existence.
We believe our God is completely perfect and good. In him, there is no darkness or evil. We believe God created mankind with an eternal plan to know him and to bring him glory.
We believe all of mankind has turned away from God by failing his standards. We have chosen to live life our own way, and this rebellion is called sin.
We believe sin has separated us from God because a perfect God cannot coexist with imperfection. But we believe God loved mankind so much that he chose to provide us with a way to know him as he originally intended.
He did this by sending his son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect, sinless life on Earth. We believe Jesus lived as 100% God and 100% man, so by being crucified on a cross without deserving punishment, he became the sacrifice for our sins. The debt we could not pay for our own sins was paid for by the perfect Son of God.
Now, we believe we can have a personal relationship with almighty God because his son Jesus has dealt with sin that once separated us from him. We believe Jesus is the only way to God.
We believe Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to heaven, where he now lives with Father God. We believe that anyone who accepts the free gift of Jesus' sacrifice can obtain salvation and forgiveness of sins. Whoever is covered by the blood of Jesus does not need to fear death because we have the promise of eternal life with God in heaven.
We believe we are saved only by the grace of God, as shown through the cross, not by our own efforts or good works. It's the grace of God that leads us to repentance, and his grace that still forgives us when we fail him.
We believe God loves everyone and wills that every person comes to know him. We believe he cares deeply for the welfare of all and has only the best plans for those who accept him.
Therefore, we now believe that our ultimate purpose is to live not for ourselves, but for God. We do this by understanding God's will for us and by obeying what he tells us in the Bible. God assures us that when we choose to live for him, he will take care of our earthly needs. We believe this because we have experienced it ourselves, and we believe Jesus is coming back again to take his followers to the eternal home in heaven.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
