100 Hour Dropshipping Challenge ($0-$10,000)

My main Shopify store has made over $300,000 within the past 90 days. But what if I had to restart completely from scratch with only 100 hours? Is that enough time to go from zero to $10,000 in revenue? Well, today I'm putting that to the test and documenting each step. So that includes finding a winning product, building a branded store with AI, and launching the Tik Tok ads all step by step so you can copy along at home.

To get started, we first need a winning product. And I've already went ahead and picked out this pet hair removal glove. Essentially, you put this thing on, and it removes all of the dog or cat hair from your clothes or your furniture to leave it like new. Now, this store you see in the background is a competitor. But I can prove to you guys that this is indeed a winning product and that this product has some serious potential. And to prove that to you guys, we can first check their estimated revenue on Winning Hunter. It's projected they've done $141,000 in the past 30 days. Now, this is definitely a good sign, but you need to understand these revenue estimators are only estimates and they aren't 100% accurate.

So, with that in mind, let me prove to you that this product is indeed selling. So, this is the ad library for the store I just showed you. They have 64 ads being ran at once, and their ads are all promoting this glove right here, which is the same product I just showed you. And this competitor has been running their ads. If we scroll all the way down, these are all of their active ads right now. They have been running these for over a month. They launched these ads back in May and they are still running them to this day. And on top of that, the product is going viral on Tik Tok. Like we have videos 30,000 likes posted just a month ago. Another one here, 130k likes posted within just the past few weeks. Next video posted 5 days ago has 130k likes. So, it's very clear this product has demand from the recent viral videos and the competitor's ads which have been running for over 30 days. And the icing on the cake is that this product is easily sourcable from China. So, it says one unit is $4.54 plus another $4.96 shipping. So, it's around $10 from AliExpress. But once we import this into our supplier, then they should be able to get us this product for less.

So, now that we have our product picked out, the next step is to create our Shopify store for exactly $1. and then add that product onto our shop and build out an entire branded page. So, enter your email in, start your free trial, and I will have all the relevant links in the description of today's video, like Winning Hunter, the $1 trial, and anything else we mentioned. So, if you're ever curious about a tool I'm using, just check the description, you should be good.

Okay, now that we're in the dashboard, let's quickly select our plan for $1. Going to go with the basic plan. $1 3 months. Begin. But before we import the product on our shop, I'm going to go through all of the settings. I usually leave this out of videos, but I read the comments and you guys were like, "Anthony, please include the boring stuff we want to see." So, what I'm about to do is I'm first going to purchase a branded general domain, something that is mass applicable to any product. From there, I'm going to create a logo for that domain. That way, we can match. And then, I'm going to go through these settings. So, I'll customize the general info. I'm going to set up Shopify payments on my store. going to set up my shipping and delivery. I'm going to set up my policies. And then I'm going to take care of my pages and navigation. So, I'm going to create a contact us page. I'm going to create a track order page. And then I'm going to add that to my main menu and the footer. That way, I can have the website's header and footer all completed. So, that is it for the boring stuff.

Now, let's get our product imported. To do that, we first want to install the AutoDS app onto our store. So, let's go to the Shopify app store. Type in AutoDS install. And I would highly recommend you guys use my custom link below instead of installing from the app store. That'll just get you an extended trial and some bonus sourcing credits. So, it's really a win-win. Once we're inside though, we can get this product added onto our store. So, return back to your AliExpress link. You always want to stay organized. That way, you can return back to previous tabs you've opened. And reminder, one of these cost about $10 to fulfill via AliExpress. But with AutoDS, we can come to the plus here and we can add a single product. We can paste the link in, publish it to our store, and just like that, the item will begin adding to our shop. So, it says in progress. We'll give this like 30 60 seconds, and then that's it. Like, we're basically done. So, the product is completed. And if we come to the sell item ID and click this link, it will pull open our product page. So, technically, yes, the customer could purchase from us. But this page is not branded at all. It has generic text, generic colors, generic photos, and we'll be using an AI app to create an extremely branded store in ideally 10 minutes or less.

But before we do that, there is one more thing in AutoDS we need to do because when you first import with an AliExpress link, AutoDS will fulfill orders using that AliExpress link. So, if you want them to get you lower cost of goods and faster shipping times, you need to click these three dots right here and you need to post a sourcing request. And again, with my link, you get bonus sourcing credits where it's just more bang for your buck. It's a win-win. So, you're going to post the sourcing request, and within one to two days, AutoDS will come back to you with a sourcing price and a shipping time. So, it does take a day or two for this to populate. They're going to save you a few dollars on cost of goods.

Now, before we use our AI store builder, I want to customize some basic details of this product. For one, we can delete this description. For the product title, you can leave this for now. We're going to edit that in a moment. But I do want to clean up our photos cuz these are crappy product photos. And we also have way too many variants here. So, we're going to delete all of these two-piece variants because we can use a bundling app if we want to incentivize them to buy two or more. Click save. And then our competitor only gives them one option. So, I'm probably just going to delete the extras so the customer can literally only purchase one. So, it seems like this one basic unit right here is the only one we actually need on our shop. like these other units aren't going to be as uh important. So, returning back here, we only need the basic one and this should be the lowest cost of goods. So, we can come here and delete these variants al together. Now, we are left with just the one piece. So, that way every customer who buys automatically gets the single version. So, next I'm going to delete these product photos. We'll get those deleted. And one unit here, by the way, guys, for the basic is literally 90 plus $4.96 shipping. So, by default, AutoDS is going to be this price until our sourcing request is completed. But 5.86 for one is not bad at all. So, we can come here, update our cost of goods. And for the selling price on this, um, I'm going to do something simple today. We're going to go with $19.95. And we'll say it's normally $30. So, they're getting, you know, $10 off. But what we're going to do is we're going to charge $10 shipping on this. Boom. So now every customer is going to have to pay $10 extra dollars on top of our $20 selling price. So this gets them to add to cart easier, but still gives us some good margin. And then we also need to get some photos here. So I have some product photos that I just downloaded from different competitors, different suppliers. And here they all are, but we only need like four to six of these. So let's start to clean it up. So we only have the essentials, so to speak. Okay, I think our product photos like this are are perfectly acceptable.

So now it is time to pimp our store. So let's head back to the Shopify app store and this time we are going to get the Atlas AI app. If you are busy on time, this app right here is a a total game changer. It's really made ecom so much easier over these past few months. And I'm going to show you exactly how to use the app today. So let's get started. Here we have a little questionnaire. I'm just going to skip through this. I'm sorry, Alice. I just want to get started. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Okay, so let's move into the dashboard and generate our first store together. We are going to come to the AliExpress link yet again and we're going to copy this. We're going to paste the AliExpress link into Atlas itself. So start with the AliExpress link and this will make sense in a moment, but you just need to click generate store and that is it. Atlas is going to do a majority of the heavy lifting here and there's just like three small tweaks once we're done with the AI store builder and then we can go and launch our ads. Here it'll ask you to choose some product images, but reminder we just uploaded those a bit ago. So you can ignore these images altogether. Just leave the default ones selected and click continue. So this is the preview for our store. I'm just going to scroll down briefly so you can get an idea of what Atlas has put together for us. But as I mentioned, there are three small tweaks that we need to make. So we're going to go bang these out super quick and then we're ready to launch our ads. We're going to come to custom colors today. actually. So, I like this little orange color here. Once we have the colors picked out, we can click on continue. So, the store is added and now we can click view our store and you will see the Atlas theme is being added here in the background.

Now this next step is important. So, please listen up. When you come to customize here, there's one crucial thing we need to update and this is the second tweak you need to make. So, for the homepage with Atlas, it's going to be customized. It'll have a lot of stuff already here for you, but we can realistically just remove all of this stuff except this have a question. We want to keep that. And then instead, we want to add a featured product. Now, for the featured product itself, you want to come to select and you are going to see that there's two of the products on our store because this bottom one was the one we imported from AutoDS that we customized the price and photos. And then this one here, the groom bond pet glove. This was the one that was imported from Atlas. So, what you want to do here is first select the one from AutoDS and we're going to click on save. But then return to the products tab on the left side. Here is the product from Atlas and we're just going to copy the title here. And then we're going to return to the products and we're just going to name the AutoDS version the same as the Atlas title. The reason we did it this way is because when we imported this one from AutoDS here, this gives us the ability to fulfill orders when a customer purchases. Whereas the Atlas one just built the page, but there wasn't a product connected to that essentially.

So now let's finish customizing the Atlas theme. I'm going to leave the homepage exactly like this, but I do want to customize our footer. So I'm going to remove that logo there. I'll remove the main menu and the contact info. That way it's just the footer. And then I'm also going to edit the footer itself. That way we can change it to inverse so it's black, has a little more contrast. And then I'm also going to delete this brand information. That way it's literally just the policies in the footer. And then before we customize the product page, I also want to get our logo added, which we already did that previously. So we'll attach that real quick. And now for the product page itself, this is the third and final tweak. So let's first update our announcement bar. I'm just going to say something simple like uh 1995 this week only. you know, push some scarcity down and right there in urgency. And then from here, what I next want to do is we're going to remove this little carousel right here that has some reviews. We're going to come to product information on the left sidebar and we want to find author reviews and I'm just going to toggle that so it disappears. Get that removed al together. Scrolling down then we next want to disable this scrolling section. You're supposed to put like an as seen in here like as seen in Forbes blah blah blah. But here's the scrolling images. We can just erase that all together. And then you'll also see there's some icons here. So this says transform grooming into bonding. So we can come to view available icons. And we need something for transform. So let me search transform. See if anything pops up. Okay. So we're going to go with a heart here. And if you scroll down, you'll see it says code point. You want to click copy next to code point here. And then on our theme, we can update the icon. So it says transform grooming into bonding. You know, it's lovely. So I'm going to customize these other three and then I'll I'll be right back. Okay. So these first four icons, they're updated. They look good. And then there's four more icons. You scroll down a bit more. So I'll leave the codes up on the screen now, but you can copy the same icons for these bottom four here. And at this point, like our store is almost done. The only thing we need to do to finalize it is add an image for the guarantee, replace the image for these benefits, another image for these benefits, and then we need a gift for up top. And then I'll even show you some some special sauce if you would like to implement. So, I have two gifts that I found online. I'm going to see how both of these look and see which one is better. So, I have a gift here where it shows the product off. So, he's using it on a carpet here. Next, it shows the product again getting some hair off a couch. And it just shows the product in use. Pretty good. So, try to show a gift that represents, you know, your product in action. Now, for this next section here, so this says streamline grooming, happy dogs. I'm going to change this to happy pets, so it's a bit more universal. Save. And here we have a picture with a cat with some icon benefits. I think this looks nice. So here we have grooming made fun bond with your pet where it shows a cat and a dog and some people using it. And for this guarantee block, I can't find any images that really jump out or that flow good. So a little alternate you can do is add a rich text. Erase the button. We're going to copy the text over from the guarantee. We're going to change this color to be orange with white text. And then we are going to delete this image with text section right there. So the guarantee flows right in. And this is it for the product page. So I'm going to scroll from the bottom to the very top. So you can see what we've just put together here. But this is a quality landing page. Something that I'm confident to launch. Something that I know can convert well. So we have a winning product. We have an offer that's very low friction. Just $19.95. Then they get hit with shipping at the checkout. And the page itself is pretty damn good.

So, in just a moment, we will launch our Tik Tok ads, but I will also have the link to the Atlas AI store builder app in the description of this video. Atlas was kind enough to sponsor today's episode. So, if you guys are looking to save some time and build an incredibly branded store like we just did throughout this video, then get the Atlas app installed. I will have my custom link down below. And if you're wondering if this type of store can actually convert and get sales, then keep on watching because we're going to launch ads and put it to the test.

So, we're now on the Tik Tok ads manager and it's time to schedule our first campaign. So, we're going to click on create and I'm going to do a fast setup today just because I haven't changed the testing campaign in like 2 months. So, we want sales back on our store. We want traffic to our website and we want a manual campaign. Pet glove test. Continue. pet glove one. For placements, we want Tik Tok only. We're going to sell to the United States only, 18 plus, both genders. We're going to set a daily budget of $1,000. No, I'm just kidding. $20 for the daily budget. And normally, I would recommend you schedule your ads for midnight of the next day. However, we only have 100 hours and it's currently 10:00 a.m. And I should note, we have been filming this video for about an hour now. So, we have like 99 hours left in this challenge total. I will day part my ads from 8:00 a.m. to midnight Eastern time. Continue.

From here, we can click on upload and drag and drop the three videos for our product. And if you're wondering where I downloaded these videos from, I literally just went to Tik Tok, typed the product name in. I went to PPS, typed the product name in. I went to Winning Hunter, typed the product name in, and I just downloaded the best videos I can find that weren't promoting another brand. Like, the videos were pretty broad. So, we have all three of our videos officially uploaded. And now we can click on publish all. And while this campaign is publishing, there's one more thing I for a Oh, come on, man. Get out of here. Giving me an error. Let me fix this real quick. As I was saying, while this campaign is publishing, we need to set this Atlas theme as our main theme on the store. So, we're going to publish this to override the default one. And then we also need to remove the password on our website. That way, customers can actually view our shop.

So, here is our campaign for the pet glove. And to summarize this, super simple. These ads are currently in review. It'll probably take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours for them to start spending. From there though, we have three ads in total. So, inside of Pet Glove number one here, if I click this is video one. Then, inside of Pet Glove 2 is our second video. And inside of Pet Glove 3 is our third and final video. Now, each of these videos is going to begin spending $20 very soon. I'm going to let these spend all day today. and I'm going to check back in this evening with hopefully some profitable sales flowing in. So, that is it for now and I will catch you guys soon.

And we are back. It is the end of the day and we're currently up to a whopping one order for $29.90. And when we check out our ads manager, I'm going to break this down extremely simple so it's easy to follow. So, here's our three videos and each has got the chance to spend around $15 so far. And one of the first metrics I like to look at is our cost per click, the CPC. And generally, you want to see this below $1. And in this case, all three of our videos have a CPC above a dollar, which definitely raises some red flags. Now, the second rule I look at is the add to carts. You want to see add to carts every $10 or less on your ad. And pet one and two do have an add to cart, which is a good sign. But given that our CPC is just wicked high right now, it's going to be quite hard to profit. And we did end up getting one sale on Pet Glove 2 here. But the issue is that our cost per click is nearly $4. So again, it's just going to be very hard to be profitable if you're not getting enough traffic on your store. And that takes us to our profit loss for today. We lost $2469. So I'll have the editor add our new total net loss on the screen now. And that's with our domain and the Shopify fees.

And before I break down the plan for tomorrow, I just want to say I have opened up access to my full ecommerce course, over 50 plus videos for only $1. So if you guys want to try my course out to see if it's any good, you know, to see if you like it, if you can get some value, I'll have the link below. Over 50 videos, it's jam-packed. Everything from product research, building your store more in depth, the apps, and the full ad strategy like you're learning today, but again in a whole lot more detail. And let's check out some wins from our community members. Chad B here launched a store this month and is already at 70K. G17 here has taken their store to 50K revenue over the past month. Above that, Francisco here pushing his first 1K day. And if you keep scrolling up, you will see win after win after win inside the Discord. So, if you guys are looking to get some of the same results for yourself, start with that $1 course. It is definitely going to push you in the right direction.

So for tomorrow we are moving on to another product. This rice peel shot and this is a competitor store and I have very good suspicion that this product is indeed a winning product as well. Now for you guys watching this just a big disclaimer. If your first day of ads flops I wouldn't give up on the product entirely. Like today we did get some add to carts and even a purchase. It was just our CPC that was too high. So before quitting the product, I would even suggest testing some new video creatives for the next day to try and get that CPC lowered. However, since we only have 100 hours, time is really of the essence and I just want to move with some more speed. So this product is simple. You put it on your face and it just gets rid of a lot of like those little small white/ blackheads. And checking out the revenue spy, this store has allegedly done 425K in the past 30 days alone. But if we view their meta ads library, this competitor has over 120 active ads at once. And if we scroll down to the day that they launched their first ever ad, you can see that they've been running ads for literally over 30 days. So I went ahead, I built out another product page using the Atlas AI app, the same process as before. And then we imported the product via AutoDS. Now, two quick things here. One, I added this little video carousel. You can do this with Atlas by just adding the real carousel right here on the side where you can just put the Tik Toks on your landing page. Helps with conversions, building some more trust. And then secondly, we do not have any reviews on this store. So the description is still the same layout, but because Atlas does such a good job, you don't need a proper review app. Like you can get away with just this and your store can still convert perfectly fine. And we're doing a similar offer this time where we're selling one for $19.95, but then we're charging an additional $9.95 for shipping at the checkout.

So for tomorrow, we are running the same exact campaign setup. We're going USA, 18 plus, both genders, $20 budget. And then I am going to schedule this for midnight tomorrow. That way it has the full day to run. And then we are also adding three individual ad creatives where again I just looked at what videos were trending over on Tik Tok and repurposed those for my ads. So that is it for our day 1/ hour 101 recap whatever we're currently at and I will check back in tomorrow with hopefully some better results.

So we are back. It's been about 24 hours since we last checked in and currently we are up to two orders for $59.80 80s and checking out our Tik Tok ads. I'm going to try and oversimplify this so it's easy to follow. We have our three videos here. Each ad has spent around $17 or so on ads. But what's really important is remember those three rules from yesterday. Is number one having a cost per click less than $1. So ads number one and three are both below a dollar. That is good. Whereas ad two is above that which is definitely a bit of a red flag. But moving on to rule two, we want add to cardarts for every $10 or less. And again, ads one and three are getting a ton of ad to cards, whereas ad two is falling a bit behind. But what is most important is we want purchases within our break even point. So you can see our cost per purchase on these two videos is $17 and then $17 again. But keep in mind, we're selling one unit for $29.90. And then through AutoDS, they completed our sourcing request and it is $8.39 if you add up the item cost and the shipping. And this takes our break even point to $21.51. So as long as we are getting purchases back on our store for less than $21, then that is technically profitable. So this is a pretty good start. And before we can really scale up, I want to see two or three purchases on an individual ad creative. So ads one and three, I'm going to let go one more day. And then for Peel Shot 2, we're going to disable this for the main reason that the clicks were high. It wasn't getting as many add to carts and it didn't have a sale while the other ones did. And to quickly check our profits for today, we got two orders, generated $59.80. But after spending $51 on ads, we had to fulfill those orders. And there's some transaction fees. So after everything, we lost $11.68. So, I'll have the editor update the new total profit loss for this entire challenge on the screen now. And while we are currently down money, all isn't too bad because remember, we do have some profitable purchases. But before we can scale up, I want to see two to three purchases on an individual video and then we can move forward with scaling and ramping up the budget. So, that is it for the hour 36 recap. I'm going to let this spend another day and I'll check back in.

So, it's the next day. We're at like hour 56 in the challenge, just around there, give or take. But today alone, we are up to two orders for $62.75. And while this isn't a million dollar, this is definitely a good start. Now, breaking down the ads, I'm going to make this easy to follow. So, here we have both yesterday and today selected. And what you'll first see is we have this second ad here, Peelshot 2, disabled because this wasn't performing well yesterday. And then we left ad one and three running all day today with the goal of getting some more profitable sales. So P shot three here, it spent $40 in total and it still only has that one purchase from yesterday. And now our cost per complete payment is way past our break even point. And this video is no longer profitable. Meanwhile, Peelshot 1 has a cost per purchase of $13. And it has two more sales since yesterday, bringing this up to three in total. And this video here, the top one is incredibly profitable compared to these other two. So for tomorrow, what we're going to do is disable Peel Shot 3 because it's no longer profitable. And then we are going to move Peel Shot One, our winning ad, into a new campaign. But this time, we're going to set up some bids. And for the budget, we're going to set this to $200. And I'll explain how this works in a second. And then we're also going to set this to go live for midnight tomorrow. That way it has the entire 24 hours to run. And with the bids, we are going to set a target CPA. And we're going to put this first one at $20. What this is saying is we are willing to spend up to $20 for one purchase back on our store. So this is going to have Tik Tok only spend money when it believes it can get us sales in return. And the thing with bids is they spend conservatively. Like there's a chance this might only spend a dollar tomorrow or it could spend the full $200 and rake in a ton of sales. And with the bids, we are only going to be using our winning video that was bringing us into sales from that testing campaign. But now we're going to make nine more copies of the same exact bid here. And the first one we created earlier had a target bid of $20, which means Tik Tok is going to try and get us sales within that range. But we're also going to set four bids above that. So this is $22. This will get us sales within 24. This will aim to get us sales within 26. And this will aim to get us sales within 28. And even though our break even point is $21, since we are willing to bid up to 28, you will likely get purchases for far lower than that because we are willing to spend so much money. So we're doing four above and then we're going to do four below that. So 18, 16, 14, 12, and one more actually and 10. And duplicate. Okay. So, here are the 10 bids. And just to quickly recap, each of these does have a $200 budget. However, since we have these bids set up and we're telling Tik Tok like, "Hey, we want purchases within this amount right here. Tik Tok is going to spend the budget a little differently compared to how it would with the CBO or an So, with the bids, some of these might spend over $100. Some of them might even spend a penny or two. But what's important is that since we have a winning ad, we should ideally have a few profitable bids and be able to scale this up. And a real quick profit update for today, we got two orders brought in $62.75 revenue. But after running ads, fulfilling those orders and transaction fees, we are walking away with a whopping $230 in overall profit, which isn't crazy. However, since we have identified a winning ad, we should be able to scale this up for the remainder of the challenge. So, that is it for today. I'm going to let these bids cook up, start spending, and then we'll check back in.

So, it's been about a day and a half since we last checked in, and we are at like hour 96. The challenge is coming to an end very soon. But for today, we're up to 11 orders, $351 revenue. And yesterday, which was day 4, we brought in 89 orders for $3,116 revenue, which is pretty crazy considering we're not even 100 hours into the video. And checking out the ads here, we have the past day and a half, so yesterday. And we have spent $1,72 on ads. So, I'm going to try and make this extremely simple to analyze. So remember for this campaign we had the bids active and the bids spend a little more passive where not everything is going to spend like this bid spent $7. This one spent $19. This one spent four. This one spent 13. Not every bid is going to get some ad spend because we're telling Tik Tok we want purchases within this certain amount. Now the next thing I want to note is we disabled two ads here. Bid 10 and bid 28. So, we disabled bid 28 because it had spent $185 and our cost per purchase went past our break even point. So, this was no longer profitable. And then I disabled bid 10 down here. It only spent 13 bucks, but the cost per click was pushing $2 where the CPC on the rest of our ads was all basically under a dollar. So, once you have a winning product and a profitable ad creative, you can throw them into the bids and you can basically start to profit on autopilot. And each day your main job is just ensuring that this cost per purchase column is less than your break even point. And if it is, you can just keep on spending more money and getting into the profit loss. Today we're up to $350, but after all expenses, so our ads, shipping orders out, etc. We're up a 100 bucks profit today alone, which is a good start. But more importantly, let's check yesterday. This was our biggest day yet. We brought in 89 orders, 3.1K rev after spending like 900 on ads, another 900 shipping out orders. We had transaction fees after everything. We made $1,000 in net profit yesterday alone, which again is a pretty good start. And if we check from hour one of this challenge until right now, which is around hour 96, we're coming to an end soon, we brought in 3.6K revenue. But after all expenses, including ads, orders, transaction fees, etc. We are walking away with $1,19.70 in pure net profit. And lately, I've just been finding a lot of these quick pumps where I can take a new product to 10 to 50K revenue in 2 to 4 weeks. And then when that product slows down, I just go back into the iteration with things and start testing all over again. And you need to understand about 20% of the products I test are profitable. So with that in mind, I may test four or five products that totally fail, but I understand it just takes one winner that I can scale up and that will recoup whatever losses I've previously spent in the testing phase.

And if you guys would like to get personally coached by me, that way you don't need to find a product on your own, you don't need to stress your store, and so you can have daily assistance with scaling up the Tik Tok ads, then click the link in the description below.
