[music] >> I'm Jeff Hunt. He's Bill Thorpe. It's Victor Marx and Gun Runner. 7:10 KUSI Denver AM 1460 and FM 101.1 The Answer in Colorado Springs. >> All along the front range. This is the Jeff and Bill Show where we get both sides. Victor Marx got the Candace Owens treatment for a whole hour yesterday. >> Wow. Yeah, her undivided attention. I would like to say sorry I missed it, but I'm not. >> [laughter] >> Well, I got I got a synopsis for you. I I I I Okay. >> of you that have a hard time listening to her, I get it. >> Yeah. Cuz it's like listening to a ADD diagnosed squirrel on crack. Yeah. Yeah, it is. >> But I can help summarize for you. Now, it's all try uh tied to Erica Kirk. And the fact that the Marxes both Victor and Eileen were there in the days after the assassination to comfort Erica. Oh. There's pictures of them hugging her and comforting her. And there's a gun that's affiliated with the guy that's affiliated with Victor Marx. And this guy >> happened to be researched by the ATF the day that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. So, it's not a gun that Victor owned. It's a gun affiliated with a guy that was affiliated with Victor. And on September 10th, 2025, the ATF requested to know what had happened to that gun because the gun had been stolen. Oh. Okay. Yes. That's the basis of an hour-long treatment of Victor Marx yesterday. So, the gun was stolen. It was stolen. Yes. So, the gun was sold Yeah. from this company. And Victor at one time had wanted to buy the company. But he didn't. >> Okay. Okay. So, there's a company that made a gun. And at one point, Victor had tried to want to buy that company. The deal never went through. The company that made that gun at one point had a gun that was sold to a deputy in Texas. The deputy had left his car unlocked in 2024. And the gun was stolen from that car in Henderson, Texas. On September 10th, 2025, the ADF sent a request to that company that had made that gun asking them what had happened to it. Wow. That's it. Happened to just be the same day. Now, Victor Marx did not own the company. Had nothing to do with the gun that was stolen. There's no evidence of that, but the ADF happened to look that day on September 10th, which happened to be the day that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. And because they looked at it on that day Correct. >> then there's a Okey-dokey. Yes. So, that's the basis. And there's a lot more that includes Haiti, Israel, gun running in Iran. Yes. And Israel be behind the mass slaughter of Christians everywhere. So, I will give you the overview of what Candace Owens got into yesterday regarding Victor Marx coming up. >> Wow. We've got a full show for you today. Speaking of guns, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners are going to be joining us. Oh, goody. Maybe we'll ask them what an ATF inquiry into a a gun is. Enes Kanter will be with us in the 7:00 hour. We're going to talk with Taxpayer Protection Alliance. Happy Tax Day, Bill. Mhm. >> Everything's filed. Everything Everything's done. Yeah, that was It was a mess, but yeah. Yeah, it was bad this year. So. Uh more pain. People like Bill and I who have income streams cuz Yeah. >> Believe me, talk radio uh requires additional income streams. >> additional putting all the pieces together and everything else. Yes. Yeah, we made I mean, I'm in the same same uh same area as far as income I was last year, but it went up. So, it's like just having to uh yeah, finding the extra money is going to be tough. But yes, owe more money this year. Yay. That's great. Yeah. We can always run guns, Bill. >> [laughter] >> That's true. Getting to that. Uh Barb Kirkmeyer is on the ballot. Getting the signatures approved. Billy, this show predicted there would be three people on the ballot in our analysis. Scott Bottoms, Victor Marx, Barb Kirkmeyer. We were 100% correct in that analysis. Those three out of the 20-plus candidates that originally had put in their names, those three emerged. Our analysis spot on. Yeah. Also, it's kind of going to be interesting. Is there anything to be learned from in the future of going to the assembly versus just petitioning on the ballot? Which one and I'm just reflecting on what went on this past Saturday is while it seems like a little bit of a heavier lift to get the signatures, seems like less of a headache. Just seems like it has a ton. >> But if you can pay somebody else to do it. >> headache. Yeah, to do it. Just raise the money, go about your day. We'll cover all of this plus Game Day Men's Health is with us. Happy Tax Day to you. Now it's time for the news. Blake Olson, news and comment. Hey, good Wednesday morning. It is Tax Day as you just heard Jeff and Bill discussing 38 and partly cloudy in Denver as it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day as the sun starts to rise. 36 in the Springs. He spoke Tuesday at a Turning Point USA event in Georgia where he was heckled and criticized the recent social media post by Pope Leo. I think it's very, very important for the Pope to be careful when he talks about matters of theology. And I think that one of these issues here is that there has been is again, hey, random dude screaming. I told you I'd respond to your point. I just want to respond to this question first. A weak storm system over Utah is producing areas of rain and snow in Colorado's mountains and western slope areas early today. Some of these showers will spread along the I-25 corridor and an off chance of an isolated thunderstorm and it is going to be cooler today, just 50s and lower 60s for Denver and Colorado Springs. And a few of these showers may linger through evening. The showers are expected to be generally light. The better chance of these showers will be along and west of I-25 and into the mountain areas. So, we're going to see a cooler but unsettled stretch of weather today. Rebounding temperatures, however, will occur as we get into Wednesday and Thursday as we await the next front. Now, the next front's going to be a strong cold front hitting us on Friday. Friday is going to bring a chance of sharply colder temperatures, rain and snow showers, and a hard freeze is going to be possible along the Front Range Friday night and to Saturday morning. All right, yesterday, Candace Owens dedicated an entire show to Victor Marx and it's connected primarily to Turning Point and Erica Kirk. That becomes the entry point. Cuz if you're wondering if Candace Owens just woke up one day and was like, Colorado Republican primary. Yeah, that that's what I was like. I'm like, how'd this get into her radar? >> [laughter] >> I was like, how did where where did this come from? Yeah. Connections to Turning Point USA and Turning Point USA faith shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there were pictures of both Victor and Eileen comforting Erica. Okay. Yeah. >> So, that becomes the piece. Who is this guy comforting? And then deep dive deep dive deep dive plus opposition research from people affiliated with other campaigns and you get yesterday's episode. She makes the argument that Victor is an arms trafficker. He got interested >> Wow. >> in a particular gun, a folding AR-15. And originally said this would be great for schools. It could be locked up and school security could be able to quickly access a folding AR-15 and be able to stop a bad guy. And then he was interested in taking them to protect orphanages in Haiti. And what my favorite part, this is my favorite part of the episode, is she goes she's like, taking guns to orphanages in Haiti? What is going on? Why would somebody need to take guns to an orphanage in Haiti? And then she plays a clip from CBN and the next clip is The FAA has banned all flights from the United States to Haiti as landing airplanes, at least three of them have recently been shot at. Oh, okay. There we go. >> [laughter] >> And then and then they show clips of roving bands of gangs with guns. And so, you're kind of like Yeah. Well, I I might understand why an orphanage needs to defend itself. And if you remember, there were Christian missionaries that were taken captive and killed in Haiti. So, anyways, Victor Marx seeks to run guns to Haiti and then he approaches this company and wants to buy I think it was 5,000 50,000 50,000 guns for Israel. And the IDF And then possibly she hints that those guns may have gone to Iran. So, Victor Marx, friend of the program, is an international arms trafficker according to Candace Owens. Wow. And Turning Point USA faith is a cover for this all? Yeah. >> And all these other pastors are utilizing Turning Point as a cover for arms and human and children sex trafficking. Wow. Yeah. Serious allegations. Very serious allegations that one then asks if you're involved in all of this why would you run for governor? I mean, I'm just saying that I'm just I'm just saying that of all the time that Pablo Escobar was running his cartel, never wanted to be president of Mexico. I mean, never never asked to get into the public spotlight and run for public office. I'm not saying that because you're an arms trafficker, human trafficker human smuggler, that doesn't mean you wouldn't want to get into politics or do something. I'm not saying or you wouldn't have connections. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that if your human smuggling and arms business is doing so well why mess it up? Why why get involved in politics? Why why would you do that? >> race that is very difficult to win. Yeah. Yeah. And I've I've been to Victor's house and walked around. Not quite the the luxury that you might expect with an arms trafficker. Oh, well, okay. I didn't see the Porsches or the Ferraris >> hiding those. anything like that. >> That's in the secret bunker. >> helicopter or his jets, none of that stuff. So, yes, Erica Kirk makes alleged claims that Victor Marx is an arms trafficker and that Turning Point is the cover for this and the ATF is interested because there may be a gun associated with this company that Victor was interested in purchasing that was um at least looked into on the same day that Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Now, the email for this came in hours before the assassination took place. Oh. So, just heads up on that. I don't know what that means, but she goes on to remind everybody that the Epstein world will re-emerge that Israel is behind the mass slaughter of Christians everywhere that evangelical pastors hate Catholics and Candace points out that Victor Marx is a compulsive liar. I just want to remind everybody that Candace has claimed that Brigitte Macron is a man, Egyptian planes in the French military are involved with Charlie's assassination, Erica Kirk is involved with child trafficking, and met with the military the day before Charlie's death. But it is Victor who is allegedly a compulsive liar. That's my overview of yesterday's show. Black, also I know sometimes you check in with Candace Owens. Did you catch the show? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Sometimes. Are you a devoted listener? >> Sometimes I check in. Are you Are you devoted listener? >> think Do you think I have missed an episode of Candace Owens? >> [laughter] >> Do you Do you have to take Advil the way I do? Candace Owens. All right, give me Give me your analysis. You think You think she's spot-on with Mr. Macron? >> Well, I don't know. They're all allegations. That's what she said as well. So, I can only I can only go by her reporting. And Corby Hall Correct. >> is is the gentleman who is the manufacturer of the ARs, the fold ARs, is that right? Correct. Yeah, fold AR. >> Yeah. So, he contacted her. He wrote her. And she read verbatim what he wrote. And his relationship with Victor Marx. Now, Scott Bottoms on your show on Saturday, he ended the conversation, if I'm not mistaken, you can correct me. He said that he thinks Vic- Victor Marx is corrupt. He did say that. He did. So, maybe this is what he's talking about. I mean, they're allegations. She's reporting what what she received. And he has a dark sketchy past. He even talks about it publicly. I mean, I didn't know a lot of that stuff. I haven't looked at it, you know, into it like probably you guys have. But what happened to him as a kid? Did you know that story? I don't even know. >> Well. I don't know if our listeners know it. Yeah, and so he his mom How many times was she married? Seven? Something like that. Seven times moved to 14 different schools. Dad abused him. Dad would >> also. Yeah, step dad and then they would allow men to sexually abuse him. He His dad Or it was his step stepdad put a gun to the back of a guy's head. Yes. >> And took Victor's hand, put it around the trigger, and made him pull it. He was like 7 years old. Right. >> Incredibly broken background. Wiped the blood of the man on his face and said, "This is your first kill." Or Yeah, like if you were hunting a deer. Something like that. But that a lot of this is in Victor's books and in Victor's movies. So, that early part of his life isn't like new revealed with Candace Owens, but it is covered by Candace. Yeah, she talks about it. And where she talks about he he said that he's written or has have he has said that he has tendencies for suicidal thoughts and homicidal thoughts. That one That one raised eyebrows. I mean, [laughter] Okay, who has homicidal thoughts? I don't. I I doubt the majority of people do. However, this is what Give [laughter] me an example. Yeah. Good point. Who am I to Yeah. Yeah, there's Yeah. Yeah, there's there's tons of listeners right now driving. Oh, it's it's why I do not carry concealed because I would open fire several times a day on the roadways. Okay, it's fair. Just warning Not warning. You [laughter] know, I'm not trying to kill anybody. Just warning shots. Just like, "Hey, you're stupid. I'm going to I'm going to shoot your tires out." I'm not saying it would be a good choice. Not a smart choice. I at least recognize my tendencies enough to realize I should not be doing this. So, keep the fire in your own home. Yeah. >> point. Good point. So, I'm just going I'm going by what she received from this Corby Hall. In Texas, I think he had he's had numerous uh interactions. He has a relationship with with Marx and his wife and his wife or his girlfriend. And uh you know, Marx evidently wanted his fold the fold the ARs. Uh for and and he thought it was for schools. For security for school security officers. And Marx told him that uh actually Israel wanted 50,000 of them. And he was going to get it and I don't think he Corby Hall wanted to go that direction. And then Marx was angry. That's kind of where it hit the the pinnacle, the peak of the story that I saw, that I was watching. I have a sound bite here if you want to hear it. >> Play it. Okay, let's play it. All right, let's see. This is after Let me see. Let's play it. Being a person who usually avoids continuous eye contact, I dead stared him in the eyes waiting for his response as he waited for mine. After telling his bodyguard to step back a few paces, his response to me was, "Do you know that I could whoop your ass right here and there's nothing that you could do about it?" I remained motionless staring him in the eyes with no response while he was getting fidgety. After about 15 seconds, he starts walking again and he says, "That's why I'm never going to engage in scripture with you." Which followed prior discussions where I had challenged his plans and his doctrine using scripture in the most respectful and tempered way. So, this is after he said he wanted the 50,000 uh ARs for Israel. >> for the IDF. Yeah, so I mean, I'm just, you know, she's just reading what what this gentleman wrote to her. So. >> Blake, I honest question. Mhm. What has Candace produced in the last year or so if listening to all of her episodes that has been proven to be accurate? Um let's Oh, gosh. Um on did on this story or or Erica >> When I go back to Brigitte Macron, Egyptian planes, the French military. >> let's just start with the Let's let's just start with the dishonesty of Erica Kirk. Okay, there's about She has about I I would say 40 or 50 uh pieces of evidence where she's been dishonest over the years. Uh let's see. One of them I'll just localize it. Okay, she said she played basketball at Regis. Okay, Regis University. Yeah. She did for 1 year. She said she played there for 2 years, all right? She did not play there for 2 years. She played there for 1 year. I mean, I know that's a little thing. But I it could be a little thing. She said she played there for 2 years and then she told another outlet I mean, all this stuff is on video or audio in interviews, podcasts, whatever. Uh she said she played there for 2 years and then um on another interview she said she said she played there a year and then uh for 9 months or a year she was invisible or she no one saw her talk to her. She All she did was read the Bible for 9 months. So, it contradicted what she had said like 6 months earlier. I mean, that's just one example. I don't have them in front of me. But she has she has brought up some facts and from her words that show her to be very dishonest. So, I would say Look. that right now. I've watched the rise of Candace Owens's career. We had her speak one time on stage at the summit along with Charlie Kirk. I had the two of them on the stage. Candace has And look, the conservative movement is generally pretty polite even when they have passionate disagreements. We don't do necessarily what Democrats do. Maybe we should sometimes. But where we we like fully expose all the problems. So, Candace lost her job at PragerU. She lost her job at Turning Point. She's lost her job at The Daily Wire. She moved through the entire conservative media establishment and none of those organizations want anything to do with her anymore. At this point, I'm I'm more with Trump where I think she's desperate. I have a hard time looking at anything that she's produced in the last year. And I sat down to go through some of this understanding if Brigitte Macron was really a man. And to listen to some of these Turning Points. And none of it's ever evidential. None of this would be allowed in a court of law. It This is all just mostly hearsay and innuendo. And that just fell right into the lap of Victor Marx. Now, Victor has said yesterday that he's going to go on her show or that he's willing to go on the show and have a conversation. Candace Owens responded and said that she's going to have Corby Hall on today. So, we might see Victor on today. We might see him. >> to have Corby Hall today. Yeah. I mean, if he goes on there, that would be awesome. I mean, that's that's what he should do. I just don't see big revelations made as a result of Candace Owens's media coverage where she gets to go Yeah, it just does I just don't see her coming up with big news that everyone goes, "Wow!" She exposed it. Well, you that that that >> Well, she did it. She did it >> Erica Kirk wasn't exactly accurate in every single conversation she had? I mean, that Well, she she's done a great job with the actual scene of the assassination with the what's his name? Farnsworth who the video the camera behind Charlie uh where he pulled the the disc out the the card out of the camera. She broke that story initially. Uh what do you what do you what are you doing? What how why why was everything tampered with or at the scene of the crime? I mean, why did they pave over uh immediately over the scene of the crime? Put uh cement blocks there and and uh pots and plants and they just they covered everything up. She's been great. So, people don't show up and take pictures and do the morbid tourism thing. That's why they paved over it. It's because the kids people will show up. >> up just where the scene of the crime. I mean, there were people all around. That was after the processing. But after after they processed the crime scene, the reason you change it is because you don't want those um you know, those morbid tourists to show up and go, "Here's the place where Charlie Kirk got shot. You can see it." And so, and posting a picture of the picture where he shot and then standing in the same place and doing those side-by-side comparisons. It's because of us and our behavior as humans why that happens in these instances. That's what that is. >> uh crime tape around the the scene for at least a couple of days? >> they didn't show up with the uh well, I mean, they didn't show up with the pavers like the day of. I mean, they didn't show up >> like a day later. I don't think so. I think there's there's more time. I don't think so. >> I don't think so. I don't think it was like a month later or 2 weeks. I think it was a couple days. I believe so. I believe so. I think. Well, I'll And the only reason is because I don't think you can get anything unless that um planned expansion was approved beforehand. You can't move things through the system that quickly. You just can't. I think it was already I think she found that it was already set up Oh, well, if it was If it was already approved, then she has no conspiracy. Because if the if the project Well, here's the thing. If the project is already approved if the project is already approved, then there's no conspiracy because they're not paving over the thing because Charlie was killed there. It was already an approved project before he even showed up. So, it wouldn't matter. So, the conspiracy then would fall apart if it is pre-approved. If it's if it's post, then maybe she has something. But, if it's done within a couple of days, you can't even if it's conspiracy, you can't get something through the educational system that quickly. It just wouldn't happen. It just you can't. E- even even if the fix is in. It just I can't figure that one out. Yeah. >> Okay. Uh and I I know you guys laugh at the the dog sniffing uh detectives. But, uh you know, she she [laughter] kind of exposed that as well. Um where the dogs just completely overlooked the the gun and then and then the feds show up and all of a sudden there's a gun there. So, and the dogs found it. So, I mean, that's just one of hundreds of things that she is you know, she's investigating. So, I mean, I can go back and she has her timeline and we can go through the whole timeline, but I mean, there are so many things it it's very difficult to remember unless I actually prepare for it and I'll try to do that in the days to come. Well, I I will I will watch tonight. Look, I don't blame you for that because it is all over the place. These podcasts are all over the place and they often don't land on any type of conclusive thought. They jump from I have a question about this to I have a question about this to I have a question about this and you sit there and you go, "W- What happened to the W- W- Sorry, let's go back three questions or 18 questions ago. Whatever happened to that? Oh, it's just it's like spider web building with conspiracy, but it never lands anywhere. Well, I think I think she's lying about that. She's going to get sued into the ground. I I guarantee at some point Turning Point is going to have enough of this and really sue her into the ground on this. The Macrons are suing her into the ground. Trump's had enough of her. Sorry, I just I don't see it anymore. But, >> Well, okay. I I and I respect that. I look at it like this. Thankfully, we do have this. Because if this were in the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, whatever early 2000s, we're we're we're getting three or four networks with the story and then that's it. Got got your you know, got your killer. Everything's wrapped up and in a bow and that's what we all believe and we move on. And then, you know, so thank goodness that we can do this and we have free speech and we can investigate and she uh diligently looks at uh her sources, talks to them. She gets a lot of tips. I know you guys don't like that, but tips are tips. But, um I you know, I think she's done a a very good job if not a great job exposing a lot of things that we would not know anything about. Had it not been for her guts actually, you know, in my opinion. There you go. Thank you, Blake Olson. You bet. All right, let's talk the White Rose Resistance and the Last Stand Festival. More of the Jeff and Bill show to come. You're listening to us on 710 KNUS in Denver. >> AM 1460 and FM 101.1 The Answer in Colorado Springs. This is where you hear both sides. We are The Jeff and Bill show. >> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> 7 gang gang you are listening to Denver. AM 1460 and FM 101.1 on the answer in Colorado Springs. All along the Front Range, this is the Jeff and Bill show where you get both sides. Billy, we've been calling it. We're always ahead of the curve. This is why you got to listen to the Jeff and Bill show. Because I well, some shows out there dance around from conspiracy to conspiracy, never land an airplane. Uh we happen to be ahead of the curve on a lot of things Yeah. that actually pan out. In this case, remember the attorney that we had on about the lawyers all in Colorado now having to click on a button affirming they won't work with ICE to submit a document. Yep, and it was a pop-up. And so, um long story short, in order to access the electronic portal that lawyers need to use to file documents for their clients, and this is something that has to be done statewide, many times the smaller jurisdictions require it to be done electronically because they don't have the staff on site, and this is an easier process. So, some lawyers, and also based on time and distance to drive to the location, this is the way functionally that lawyers file documents for their clients. Yet, the state had a pop-up page that said you have to um not work with ICE and some other stuff in order to even continue to file your documents. And the lawyer said, if they refused, if they didn't click in the affirmative, they were kicked out of the portal. Yeah. So, unless you agreed, you couldn't do your lawyer work. The lawyer that was on the show didn't even do immigration law. No. Thing that the lawyer does touches anything to do with immigration law at all, but still had to make the affirmative claim they would support the sanctuary city policies, not work with ICE, in order to file documents, which is stupid. And we helped break this story. Jimmy Sangenberger, by the way, way ahead of the curve. He was writing about this back in September, but it really broke news when an attorney was screenshot. It was like, "What the heck? Why am I having to do this?" Yeah. That then went national. Fox picked it up. All right, here we go. Headline out of the Denver Gazette, "Congress now pressing Colorado court about rule tied to immigration enforcement. The US House Judiciary Committee is seeking information from Colorado court administrator regarding a new requirement that attorneys certify they will not use court data for immigration enforcement, arguing it unlawfully obstructs federal law and compels political speech tied to these states' sanctuary policies." This certification "made under penalty of perjury obstructs federal law and prevents federal officials from using Colorado state court information to enforce federal immigration law." The letter from the House Judiciary Committee said. "It also hijacks the private practice of law to fulfill the political goals of the state of Colorado." That's exactly what we were saying. Yeah, absolutely. >> That this it it you know, you're you're just trying to be a lawyer doing your normal work. You have a fence dispute in Weld County. I got to file some paperwork. Yeah, how could you Now you got to affirm you're not going to work with ICE to do so? How could you possibly defend the idea that every lawyer in the state, regardless of the work they're doing or the area of law they practice, has to affirm the state's political policy decision. And I do wrap those two together because it is a political decision, but it is also a state policy decision. But the policy is uh derived from the political bent of the people in charge. And why would you require the lawyers to affirm your political policy decision in order to do work inside of their chosen field? That is just dumb. Just on its face. It undermines attorneys' ethical obligations, Congress says, and all to ensure that illegal and criminal aliens in Colorado can remain in the state indefinitely. The committee says it wants to know the penalties for third parties who violate this court rule, the number of complaints against it, how many private attorneys have been punished, and any documents related to their investigation, and all documents related to the court's decision on how to implement the law's requirement. It goes on and says, "Imagine for an example uh actually this was a First Amendment attorney that uh the Gazette went and spoke with. But he he nails it. Imagine, for example, if anyone wishing to access a public library were required to sign a statement before entering saying, 'I hereby declare, under penalty of perjury, that I will not use any of this information I obtain from this library in support of any Democratic candidate for office.'" Similar thing. The viewpoint discrimination is in providing access to public resource would unquestionably be unconstitutional, regardless of how likely or unlikely it is that the person who violated that oath would be sanctioned therefore. This is going to be another one that the if it ever gets to the Supremes, will be shot down if Yeah. the state of Colorado wants to avoid a costly and embarrassing legal battle where they will lose, likely, 9-0, maybe 8-1, knowing Ketanji Brown Jackson and her viewpoint of law. But if they want to avoid that, stop this. This is stupid. We know how much you love illegal immigrants. You want Colorado to be a sanctuary state, but you can't be unconstitutional in forcing lawyers to abide by this. So, wrap it up, drop the stupid pop-up, and move on. It'd be a lot easier on all of us. All right, we've got You Choose the News coming up, plus our RMGO is going to be in the studio. A little dose of You Choose the News. >> Yes, it's hump day. We're going to help you get over that hump with a little bit of the fun and frivolity. This is America's favorite fake radio news game show. It's You Choose the News. And now I spent just moments this morning scouring the interwebs for really dumb stories about us humans, gave it them the more ridiculous headlines so that we can play this fake radio news game show with you. Why? Because nobody that has any power here at the station arises until 7:00 a.m. Once we are left totally unsupervised, Jeff and I are going to take full advantage of that opportunity. And as always, we bring in Blake Olson who is in the news department to join us on our adventure. Gentlemen, here are today's questionable headlines. Headline number one, going to need some cold beverages. Headline number two, Pooh mad at Gucci. Headline number three, why do the hard work? And headline number four, I've got a golden ticket. Mr. Hunt, your choice. >> You say Pooh was mad at Gucci? Yes, I did. >> All right, what's that one about? Yes, Pooh mad at Gucci. Here we go, a journey into the world of rap. Rapper Gucci Mane was the victim of a kidnapping and robbery plot by rapper signed to his label earlier this year. Lontrell Williams Jr. known by the stage name of Pooh Shiesty. Yes, Pooh Shiesty is mad at Gucci Mane. So, Pooh mad at Gucci. Allegedly asked to meet with Mane, whose real name is Roderick Davis in Dallas on July on January 10th, sorry, of this year to discuss his contract with Mane's label. Williams was upset with the terms of the contract, wanted to be released, the complaint said. They met that afternoon at the music studio inside the office building. Now, Pooh Pooh Shiesty was wearing an ankle monitor because he was on home confinement for prior firearms conspiracy conviction out of Florida. Because of course he was. While in the studio, he allegedly learned on a phone call to his case manager that he did not have permission to be out and running around. Great. >> He he was on home arrest, but okay. All righty then. Well, since he had to return home immediately, he had to settle stuff up right away. Gucci Mane offered to reschedule the meeting, but Williams said, "Hey, we got to go speak over here in this other room over here." Well, that's where Pooh Shiesty had some of his friends and did the shakedown to Gucci Mane. Basically had several firearms with him. Not only said, "You need to sign the paperwork to get me out of my contract, but also, how about you give me everything in your pockets and those really fancy watches, too." Yes, they not only got the person under duress to sign the contract, which doesn't make it legally valid, they then proceeded to rob everybody else in the building. And yes, there are security cameras. So, this one just about as well as you'd expect. That's why he's been arrested. I know. The whole thing seems so surprising. >> So so surprised the guy with the ankle monitor that was on home arrest broke that and then went and tried to rob somebody else. Super surprising here. Yeah. Well, what do you expect? Okay, Blake. Going to need some cold beverages, why do the hard work, or I've got a golden ticket? Why do the hard work? >> Yeah, why would you possibly want to do the hard work when you can actually do it much easier? The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the Alberta town of Hanna have generated some buzz after they found an unusual trespasser trying to break into a local business earlier this month. And it seems like he just was tired of doing all the hard work. Police were called to the business April 8th for reports of a trespasser who was refusing to leave during closing time. The subject, they said, was very disoriented. He's wearing all brown and about 40 lb and 2 ft tall. It was a beaver. Oh, wow. >> Yeah, it's a home improvement store and investigators believe the beaver was trying to steal the business's firewood at the entrance to use it in home building. >> [laughter] >> Cuz he was tired of cutting down all the big tall trees. The police said that after much coaxing, some treats, but no use of force, the subject was ushered out of the business. So, yeah. [laughter] I love that. That is so great. >> like, "I ain't cutting down these trees. You see they're all cut in a pile right over there. I'm going to go right over there and get those that are already cut in a pile. I don't have to do this stupid thing and cut the trees down." Yeah, very smart beaver. I know. Okay. Final choice this morning, Jeff. Going to need some cold beverages or I've got a golden ticket. I've got a golden ticket. Yes, I've got a golden ticket. We find ourselves in Paris for this one. A Parisian art enthusiast could not believe their luck when they found out this week they'd won a Picasso painting worth more than a million dollars. And all they had to do is buy a $100 raffle ticket. This is for real. Now, Arya Hodroj, 58, said, "How do I check this isn't a hoax?" after organizers called him and said that he had won the draw at Christie's auction house in the French capital. He describes himself as an art amateur, very fond of Picasso's works, but he bought his ticket over the weekend after finding out about a charity raffle. They've done this several times, and it was during a chance meal meal in a restaurant. It's the third iteration of one Picasso for 100 euros. It was Picasso's Head of a Woman portrait. His long-time muse and partner, Dora Maar, is the subject of it. It was painted in 1941, and it is to aid Alzheimer's researcher research in Paris. They sell 120,000 tickets worldwide. They net 12 million euros, 14 million dollars in total. Of that, some of it goes to the upper gallery and the owner, but the dude for a $100 raffle ticket got himself a million-dollar Picasso painting. Kaching. Boom. That's a win. Yeah, that's the end of You Choose the News. Back to you, >> country music song in there. >> [laughter] >> We got a country music song about Picasso painting. >> Bought a lottery ticket and ended up a millionaire. I think there is something like that. All right. >> [laughter] >> Coming up in the next hour, Ian Escalante will be with us. Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, all the latest on what's happening at the state capital regarding your Second Amendment rights, what the Democrats are doing to weaken it.
