How to Brainwash Yourself Into a New Reality

Think about what you want right now. Think about the things in your life that you desperately wish to change. Maybe it's your finances. Maybe it's your health. Maybe it's your living situation. Maybe it's your relationship, your career. Whatever it is that you're trying to change, it is only going to change when you change. You cannot change anything in your life until you change yourself.

Every single thing you're perceiving right now is a byproduct of an energy that you have embodied in the past. So the energy you're embodying right now today is what's creating your future. No matter how much you want things to change, no matter how desperately you're taking actions and trying to force change to happen, if you're doing it from the same energy, the same identity as you've been for your whole life, then your life is not going to change. So if you really want your life to change, you have to brainwash yourself into an entirely new identity.

This is how I completely transformed my life and went from working a 9-to-five corporate job that I hated, living in a busy city, stressed, burnt out, in survival mode, going from toxic relationship to toxic relationship, paycheck to paycheck, feeling so hopeless and lost for years to now living in paradise in my dream home, working in my dream career, financially free, and with my dream partner. If I can do it, so can you. But the way that I did it is by completely brainwashing myself into an entirely new person. That means a new way of thinking, a new way of perceiving myself, and a new way of looking at the world.

So, in this video, I'm going to break down what I even mean by brainwashing yourself, why it's why it's necessary to do that, and then we're going to get into the three steps on how you can brainwash yourself into a new identity so that you can actually correspond with the reality where your desire exists.

So, the reason you're going to have to brainwash yourself into a new identity in order to enter a new reality is because you are running a program that was literally typed into your system from the moment that you came here. That program is from your family. It's from your parents. It's from your environment. It's from where you grew up. And you can know this because when you're a child, your subconscious mind is literally a sponge. So every single thing that was going on outside you, even the language that you speak, you essentially downloaded that information into your system, it's a survival mechanism we have when we're young. We need to download this information so that we know how to survive and navigate this world. The issue is if you're running into a problem where you're not able to get outside your current experience of reality.

So let's say every single month you making the same amount of money. You're not able to break above that. You're not able to start your business. You keep just sabotaging yourself around and around in cycles of just literally getting down on yourself every single month, getting spurts of motivation, watching a David Gogggins video, maybe working for one day, and then falling back into the same cycles again and again. The reason that that's happening is because your identity is in the way. Your identity does not correspond with the reality of making 10 grand per month. Your identity corresponds with the reality of making two grand per month. Until you become the version of you who's already in your desired reality, you're not going to get there.

There are infinite parallel realities existing simultaneously right now. And your vehicle to the timeline where your desire exists, if it's that 10k month, your vehicle is your embodiment. And most people, they never get to their desires because they're focusing on the desire rather than their embodiment. Focusing on the desire, focusing on what you want constantly is just you signaling over and over again that you don't have it. And you're just probably getting overwhelmed every single time you think about what you want because you're like, "Well, how am I going to get there?" The only way to get there is to show up as the version of you who's already there as much as humanly possible. You need to be so delusional. And society has programmed you in a way that delusion is like shunned and it's kind of ridiculed and you need to be sensible and you need to be logical. But when I was sensible and logical, I was miserable. I was depressed. Being delusional got me every single thing I ever wanted. Got me everything that the old me didn't think was possible. I always say to be delusional is to just act in a way that doesn't correspond with your current reality. But you're not staying here. So why does it matter? You've got to lead this dance with the universe. You need to stop being so like reasonable. Stop being so humble. Stop playing so small. Start being ridiculous and delusional. That is the only way a gap is going to start opening up for you to actually have what you want. So when your energy is corresponding completely with your desires, when you know you are the version of you who makes 10 grand per month, that's when that's going to start happening for you. But not a moment before. You've got to decide to let go of the old story. You've got to decide to let go of this version of you sitting here today and realize it's serving you to hold on to this version of you.

Okay. So, when I first started realizing the power of this identity work, it was when I started doing powerlifting and I used to go to the gym and I used to perceive myself as someone who wasn't very naturally strong because I'm not. Okay? If we're being honest, I'm not naturally gifted in sports and things like that. I never played sports growing up. And I took that mindset with me into powerlifting. I was like, I've never played sports. Everyone else has an advantage. Everyone else in the gym has has some kind of base level strength coming into this. I don't. I had this narrative and this identity that told me that I was not going to be naturally good at powerlifting. And that made me believe that I was never going to get anywhere at powerlifting. So how I trained, how I showed up to the gym was in that energy, in that like defeist energy, right? One day I decided to take that narrative and completely change it. So you can do this as well. You can look back at the story of your past and you can tweak it ever so slightly so that it empowers you rather than disempowers you. So, I said, "Okay, maybe I'm not naturally gifted in sports, but I'm going to be an example of someone who can work really hard and get really good and really strong just through work ethic alone. I'm going to be like a case for the underdogs. I'm going to be one of the people that started at, you know, the worst level of strength possible, could barely lift the barbell, and then made it to really, really big numbers." So, I decided to use my old story as a way to empower me. I changed my identity and I let go of that old self who kept kept saying, "Oh, well, I'm not going to ever be very good at this cuz I never played sports." I instead said, "No, I am going to be good at this and I'm going to be an example for anyone who's coming into this who's who thinks they're not going to be naturally strong." So you can revisit everything that's happened to you in the past. Anything that you think is bad or negative or limiting about you and you can change the narrative and use it to your advantage. Anything, no matter what trauma, no matter what hardship, no matter what you've been through, you can either keep saying, "These are the reasons why I'm not going to succeed. These are the reasons why I'm not good enough." Or you can completely flip it and say, "These are the exact reasons why I am going to succeed."

You've got to let go of the old story and realize the old story is protecting you. It's keeping you safe from something. So in my case, the old story of me not being naturally strong and never going to be good at powerlifting because of that. It was stopping me from putting any pressure on myself, right? It was stopping me from having any expectation on myself. I could stay in my comfort zone in that identity. And that's the number one thing that's going to stop you from letting go of your old identity. It's your addiction to being in your comfort zone and the fear that comes with leaving the comfort zone. You get to avoid that fear. So long as you stay the same and you never change and you stay this old self that you've always been, you're never going to have to get uncomfortable. However, a life lived in your comfort zone is a life lived half dead. You've got to decide right now that you're going to exit the comfort of your old identity. And you're going to continue to do that until the day that you die. Because if you want to grow, you're going to have to keep letting go of past versions of you. And you're going to have to get very comfortable with stepping into new versions of yourself over and over and over again.

So, anything that you're attached to about yourself, whether it's playing it safe, playing it small, not speaking up too much, not causing too much of a ruckus, you know, not showing up online, whatever it is, people pleasing. You've got to realize that, okay, maybe it's comfortable for you in that identity, but the price of that is you wasting your whole life playing small all for this illusion of safety that was only ever an illusion. Your mind thinks it's safer to stay here in this small identity and stay attached to this self. But nothing is as safe or unsafe as something else. You're just as safe being this new version of you than you are being this old version of you. Safety is an illusion that your brain makes up to shield you from the fear of the unknown. So, you need to decide right now today that you're going to consciously step forward into the unknown outside your comfort zone over and over and over again and know that nothing bad's going to happen. And on the other side of you stepping forward into the unknown is going to come fulfillment, growth, and you finally accessing your potential. So, it is so worth it. So, that is step one. Decide to let go of this self sitting here right now today. Realize this is the price you pay to enter a new reality. Thank this self for having gotten you this far and let them go.

Okay. Step number two is to decide that nothing is bigger than you. So I remember when I first realized this and I made this mental switch. It was the most empowering thing ever. It was back when I was in university and I was just finishing up and I started my work placement in a solicitor's office and I was so nervous to start going into the office and interacting with qualified solicitors, right? I was nervous because I had this idea in my head that these lawyers were bigger than me. I thought this whole thing was bigger than me. This office environment is bigger than me. These people are bigger than me because they're lawyers, right? When I went in on that first day of work, I kept saying to myself, "These are just people who've had a different experience and gained different skills, but they're people." And as I showed up to work that day, reaffirming that to myself over and over again, I realized they are all just human beings who are flawed like everyone. Just cuz they're lawyers doesn't mean they're bigger than me, right? So, I got into my head that day that nothing I was ever going to face, nobody I was ever going to come into contact with was ever actually bigger than me. Okay? And this is especially true when you're setting a goal. So, if you're setting a goal, you need to realize that you're the creator of the goal. Often times, we use goals to validate our worth, basically, right? When I get this thing, I'm going to be worthy. when I get this thing, I'm going to be good enough. Do you know how crazy that is? You've created that goal that the experience of achieving that goal or even desiring that goal could not even exist without you. So, how can it be bigger than you? You're the creator of the whole thing. So, you need to realize any desire, any goal that you have, it can't be bigger than you. And you also need to realize any challenge that you face can't be bigger than you either if you just decide that it won't be. So this is something that I was speaking with my partner about this yesterday. He's recently broken through to new levels in business and we were speaking about those times where you can get really down and face really really difficult challenges in business as you're growing. And I said, "Well, what is it, you know, that pulls you out of that?" And it's it's we basically agreed it's this mindset of you basically just have to decide that this is not going to keep you down. That this challenge is not going to be bigger than you. And no matter what you face, you're going to be able to overcome it. Having that mindset will get you anywhere in life, but you have to decide to have that mindset. Right? So I used to not have that mindset up until the age of about 17. I had a very victimoriented mindset and everything was bigger than me. Everything was insurmountable. Every challenge that I faced was a personal attack and it was just another knock and I kept getting knocked on my ass. Knocked on my ass. Knocked on my ass. And then I decided at 17 that I didn't want to be a victim anymore. That I wanted to take the control over my life and I wanted to make something good out of my life. And I made a conscious decision that nothing was ever going to keep me down for long. And that no matter what happened to me, I was always going to come out swinging. I was always going to find a way out. I was always going to win. That's a decision. So you have to decide that no challenge you face is going to be bigger than you. This is part of the program that you need to brainwash yourself with. If you want to be successful, if you want to have that dream relationship, it's going to come with ups and downs. So, it is so important that when you're in the downs, you know you can overcome them.

So, step number three, and this is the most important step to brainwashing yourself into entering a new reality, you have to decide to move as the version of you who's there already. This is the ultimate shortcut and it's actually the only way to get there. You need to show up completely 100% allin committed to this version of you. Not half committed, not half embodying, fully embodying the version of you who's already done it. And it will be done so fast your head will spin. So, I remember when I first started my YouTube channel, I was thinking, "Okay, I need cameras. I need lights. I need a microphone. I need a better environment. I need to be living alone. I don't want to be sharing a house with people cuz they're going to hear me." And I was, you know, placing my my progress on things changing outside me externally. I was waiting for my external world to change to show me that I was ready to be this version of me, which is a mistake I see everybody make. That is not how it works. That is not how you're going to get to your goals. You've got to lead as the version of you and reality will collapse around you to fall in line with that new version. So I realized what I was doing. I kept outsourcing my power. I kept waiting for things to change outside me to start embodying who I wanted to be. And I decided, no, you know what? I'm going to just be in the energy of YouTuber even though I haven't got any equipment or any permission or anything to tell me I can do that. I'm just going to be it and I'm going to trust that everything else is going to fall in line. So, I recorded my first video on my iPhone in my bathroom in that house that I was sharing with other people. Even though my voice was shaking, even though I was worried people could hear me, even though I was insecure, even though I felt like I didn't know what the hell I was doing, even though my camera quality was bad, even though my sound quality was worse, I was standing in a bathroom and it was echoing, it didn't matter. None of the external factors or limitations mattered anymore because I was now showing up as the version of me who was already in my desired reality. And guess what? that pulled that reality right to my freaking doorstep. Within 2 weeks, I got a camera. I got lights. I got a new filming setup. And I didn't look for them. They came to me. I didn't have to pay for them. They were given to me. I did not have to search. All I had to do was embody. And whatever term and condition you're telling yourself right now as to why, oh, I need this to happen first. I need that to happen first. No term, no like apparent limitation, no condition, nothing that you're perceiving around you can limit you if you just decide that you're going to be that version of you. The world will fall into place around you to show that to you, to reflect that back to you. I always say the world is a mirror. So, if you're fully standing in the version of you who's already there, it's going to be mirrored back to you. And you don't have to worry about how that's going to happen. it's just going to happen. So 90% of people, they mess up and they stay in these cycles of sabotage and never actually getting towards their goals because they keep worrying about everything in the external world. when if they just worried about themselves, if they just worried about showing up as the version of them who already has millions of subscribers, showing up as the version of them who already is successful in business, who already has a successful clothing brand or whatever it is. If they just worried about doing that, they wouldn't have to worry about anything external to them. That would all fall in line. You can see this as well in professional athletes. So Conor McGregor was on social welfare and he wasn't thinking to himself, "Oh, I'm a broke, unemployed, you know, unsuccessful athlete, fighter." No, he was thinking, "I'm the future MMA champion. I'm the future UFC champion." He was saying that to himself when he had no evidence externally to show that back to him. He was saying it to himself. It was in his thoughts. It was in his identity. So, he showed up. He trained as that version of him. He fought as that version of him. And then guess what? Reality then reflected that back to him. So you need to lead this dance with your energy. And how you do that is you take control of how you're speaking to yourself. You change your routines to reflect this version of you who's already there. And you change your reactions. So your physical reality for some time is going to stay the same. And this is where people get caught. It's going to stay the same for a while, but that doesn't matter. So long as you have changed and you should be seeing that window where nothing has changed yet in your external world, that is your opportunity to prove that you're a different person. And how you do that is you take an old external stimulus and you respond to it as the new version of you over and over and over again. Nothing triggers the universal energy more into changing than you seeing an old stimulus or seeing an old trigger and saying, "You know what? I'm going to respond like this now. I'm going to respond as this new version of me now." You're basically recoding your system, putting out a new energetic signal to say, "No, this is who I am now." And the world has to reflect that back to you. So old triggers, old external environments, they are opportunities for you to show that you are in a new state of embodiment. They're not there to pull you back down unless you say they are. And here's the thing. When you decide to start moving as this new version of you, you're going to have some moments where your old program kicks back in and tries to infuse you with doubt and tries to keep you small. And in that moment, you have to recommmit to the new version. That is how you brainwash yourself. You consistently recommmit over and over and over again to the version of you who's already where you want to be. That is it. I can't explain it any more clearly for you. Every single time you fall off, every single time

You re-engage in old habits, old routines, gossiping, complaining, negative self-talk; you notice it, you recommit. You notice it, you recommit.

Over time, the neural networks in your brain will rewire to start firing as this new identity, as this new version of you. The more you change how you speak to yourself, the more you change how you act, the more you change how you react to old external factors over time with consistency. You will notice you feel like a different person. You are a different person. And the moment that you realize that is the moment you'll notice you're standing in a whole new reality. You'll be standing in something that you never thought was possible before. Because the truth is, it wasn't possible for the past version of you. But for this new version of you, it is. Okay?

So, what a relief. This version of you doesn't need to figure it out. You just have to become the version of you who already has it figured out and keep committing to that version. If you want to change like physically in the universe, if you want things to bend and mold around you and shift, you need energy, you need drive towards this. You have to go all in on it. You can't just keep waiting on the sidelines, half playing small, half taking action. You've got to fully decide that you're going to become this version and nothing is going to stop you or get in your way. That is how reality changes. That is how you brainwash yourself into a whole new life.

If you don't commit to this new identity, if you stay attached to your old self, your old way of thinking, and you just stay in the same cycles you've been in for your whole life, you already know what that looks like. It's going to give you everything that you're experiencing right now. That's where you will stay. But if you decide from this day going forward that you're going to change your energy, that you're going to change your identity, your personality, your habits, your routines, your reactions, the way you talk to yourself, then what you're experiencing tomorrow, a week, a month, and a year from now is going to be completely different and it's going to be what you actually want. But you've got to make that decision. If you don't decide it, you're going to stay stuck on autopilot for your whole life. Half living, half moving towards your goals, but never actually getting there. The universe needs to see some hustle. You need to show that you've got your conscious will and effort going towards this new version of you. That is how you get there. I don't think people realize you can't keep, you know, half going in. You've got to go all in. You've got to really just keep recommitting. Keep recommitting. Show up, meditate, journal, do whatever you need to do to align your energy with this new version of you. And I promise you, every single time you do that, that's a rep that compounds over time. Before you know it, you're going to be standing in your dream reality. And it's going to be because you're a whole different person. Okay.

Okay, so to summarize the three steps were: number one, decide to let go of the old story. You can't keep telling a disempowering story about your past. Every morning when you wake up, this happened, that happened. Oh, this was so unfair. That was so unfair. Guess what? If you keep telling that story, that's going to continue to be your reality. You need to let go of the old story and let go of the old self.

Step number two, decide that nothing is bigger than you. No matter what goal you have, no matter what desire you have, no matter what challenge you face, none of it is bigger than you because you are the creator being. You have God, divine energy within you. You can overcome any challenge that comes your way so long as you decide that internally. You decide that nothing is going to be bigger than you.

Step number three, you decide to show up as the version of you who's there already. Not the version of you who's at the start line. The version of you who's at the finish line, who already has the financial success, who already has the dream relationship, who already has the successful YouTube channel, the successful business, the clothing brand, whatever it is, you figure out who you are at the end, and that is who you embody right now.

If you follow these three steps, you will have successfully brainwashed yourself to enter your desired reality. And there is no other way to get there. That's all for this video, guys. I hope it helped. Please remember, you've got everything you need inside you to create the life of your dreams. You just have to let go of the old and embrace the new.
