Cuz now watch. Watch what this guy does. Holy moly. Look, did you see that? By the end of this video, you will never look at negative or positive forces in your life the same way ever again. And to make the illustration, I'm using magnets today. And by the way, all these magnets you have here, they're different sizes, just like you and I. There is positive forces that pull us up, that we do better things, and there's negative forces magnets that pull us down.
You ever see somebody that's doing great in their lives, marriage is good, life is good, all of a sudden they make a bad decision? Well, maybe they got a negative person in their life to pull them down to make bad decisions. Vice versa is also true. You see someone that's average, ordinary, and then all of a sudden you're like, 6 12 months [music] later, why is this person do such big things? A magnet pulled them up. So, let me kind of give you the illustration. By the way, at the end of this, I have a 3,500 [music] lb magnet that we have set aside from all the cameras, phones, everything because of the amount of power that he has. So, let's go through it. >> [music] >>
When we look at magnets here, this is the smallest one I have. This is a half a pound pull magnet. So, individually, it can pull a half a pound. That's the pull that this one has. Then we have the 1.5 lb magnets here. Then I have the 3 lb on this side, and we have the 5 lb, okay? Individually, not that strong. Collectively, they can pull up some of these other magnets, just like in life. This is a 5-lb pull force magnet, but notice this is a thin one, it's different than this. Then I have a 10.8 lb force here, 14.6 here, just look at the size. We got 18 lb, 23 lb, maybe bigger, but think about it. Even though it's bigger, it's only 5 lb more than this because we come in different shapes and sizes. This is 25 lb, okay? Similar to this. We have a 62-lb, 87-lb, 95-lb, and 41-lb.
So, now this is one point that you got to keep in mind, just like in in This magnet, these by themselves, they're only 5 lbs pull. So, if a 5-pounder goes by an 18-pounder, the 18-pounder is going to attract them. You don't stand a chance. But, if this 5-pounder here gathers his friends, even though this is 18-lb individually, one-on-one, this guy wins one-on-one against this guy. It's not even close. But, if this guy that's a 5-pounder gets five other peers with him that join him to come to the 18-pounder, watch what happens. So, this is now five of them. This guy's 18-lb individually. Collectively, they're 25. You're coming home to us. What does that mean? You may go you have a stronger positive force, and that guy's got a smaller individual negative force. So, you're going to overpower him. He can't do anything to you. But, if he's got five peers with him, 25 lbs over you, they collectively will influence you to do something negative or positive. So, by the way, collectively, how much more power could they have? So, let's take 50 of these guys at 5 lbs pull. Becomes what? 250. Let's go to this big guy. Watch what happens with this big guy that's 95 lbs. Does he stand a chance? Picks them up. So, again, even though individually you have a lot of influence compared to one of these small magnets that you'll take, you don't collectively stand a chance against 50 of the 5-lb.
Applies to every aspect of our lives, positive or negative. So, the key to keep in mind is this applies with kids. This applies to you and I as adults. Kids are magnets. You ever wonder like you see the four different kids playing and one of the kids gets the other three kids to do something bad? That is a negative magnet that's influenced the other three kids. Just like a kid who's reading a book, sitting around five other kids who are not reading a book, they're like, "Hey, I want to start reading a book. What is that guy reading? I'll read the book as well." This applies from all the way to being babies to adults.
All right. So, now when you deal with the bigger magnets, last time we did this. This is our third time doing this, by the way. Things broke. We're like, "We're going to put some glasses goggles on this one." So, let me get ready with this and with the gloves. So, now watch. This is the most important thing. These two are both 95 lbs. They have the same exact influence. But, every once in a while in life, let's say this is a positive influence and this person has decided to make negative decisions, bad decisions in their lives. They will intentionally distance themselves from this positive force. Watch what happens. Nope, don't come near me. Don't come near me, okay? Vice versa, say this is a negative influence and you know this person is a negative influence in your life. What is your number one secret sauce to make sure he doesn't have any negative influence over you? Distance. Stay away from them as much as possible. So, positive influence, if you're making negative decisions, you can't stand a positive influence in your life. That applies both to negative and positive.
You know, sometimes you see somebody that's very tall and big. Oh, that guy's going to have a lot of influence. And this guy is a small guy. Physically, it doesn't matter. Magnets have nothing to do with the height and weight of the individual. This is a smaller magnet than this guy, but this guy doesn't stand a chance with this guy. This is the powerful one, even though it's much smaller physically. So, don't assume influence has to do with size and height and weight. Has nothing to do with it. Some of the most influential people that destroyed many countries around the world were very small.
All right, I think it's time to bring the mag daddy of all the magnets, but before I do so, we got to move these because remember, this is our third take that we've been doing in 3 weeks cuz it destroys all of it, right? So, this is 3,500 lbs. Just to kind of give you an idea what 3,500 lbs is, this is 95 lbs, okay? This is 87 lbs. This guy is 41 lbs. 3,500 lbs. So, if this is positive or negative and it gets into your life, if it is positive, it's going to pull you with it. So, if this person's going to the moon, you don't have a choice, you're going with them. You know, there was a friend with Elon Musk that put a million dollars on SpaceX many, many years ago. He owned 7.3% of SpaceX. Do you know when SpaceX goes public what that million dollar investment is worth now? It's called a hundred billion dollars. Why? Cuz a big ass magnet Elon Musk made a lot of his friends around him wealthy and he pulled everybody up, right? That's what this means.
Now watch. Watch what this guy does. Holy moly. Look Did you see that? Did you see that? That's crazy. Look what it does. Nobody stands a chance with this guy. Let's put this glove to take this thing off. Yeah, I just want to show you this. I just want to show you this what it did. Look at this. You don't stand a chance. You're either coming up and we're going to go to the moon or your life's going to be destroyed if it's negative. Let's show the rest. This guy's what? 95 pounds? I'm even worried about this for my hand. Holy moly. Look at that. Look at that. Pick them up in a split second. Oh, This guy can come off with this guy. Oh my god. Let's go another guy. Here. Gone. Oof. My god, that hit my finger. And by the way, you know what's the crazy thing about these guys? Even if you have distance, that's how much pull they have. So look, it's already coming, coming. Got you and got you. You Oh, look that broke and it hit my finger. You see it? Completely gone. And that's a pretty powerful 41-pounder. But you don't stand a chance around a 3500. And if you go to these guys, Look at that. Look at that. Come on. Come on. Now, you don't have a choice. Come to daddy. Boom. >> [laughter] >> That is absolutely insane how much power this guy's got. Look. It's right here. You are toast. If this was a negative influence, destroy so many people's lives. One negative this powerful of a pull, it has the capability of destroying thousands of people's lives.
So look, here's the reality of everything we just showed with magnets. You're a magnet, I'm a magnet. Our goal is we may be a smaller magnet with no influence [music] today, very little influence. Your goal is to get bigger and bigger and bigger so you have better influence. That typically happens when you're around bigger magnets that teach you influence. When you're on bigger magnets that are doing bigger things in life and you're like, "What? I thought this was hard. He made it look easy. Why can't I do it? Why can't I do it?" So you want to surround yourself around bigger magnets so you also elevate as an individual, right? In business, you report to somebody solid, they make you better executive. If you're coach, you're player, the coach is elevating you, the closer you get here, he can help you get to the next level of sports. And then the other part is take inventory. As a parent of four >> [music] >> and as somebody that's run many different companies, I've been a see I've been running businesses for 25, 26 years. I always knew when a new person was recruited to my office, any of the offices I had, if they were negative or positive by who they went and had lunch with. Somehow, some way, the negative crowd finds each other. Somehow, some way, the positive crowd finds each other. And all it takes is is one bad apple to bring down a great [music] company. All it takes is one bad apple to hurt a 16-year-old kid that's on track to go to college, get a degree, [music] you know, get a scholarship and one day play pro baseball, but he got that one influence that started with alcohol, with weed, with cocaine, career's over with. The same applies for the positive. So one, do whatever you can to be a better influence [music] of a magnet, and number two, do whatever you can to distance yourself of the negatives and actually get rid of them, or else it's going to negatively impact your life.
