I think this is the third straight week that we've actually gotten some pretty big news on the weekend that's going to make us revisit our rankings. Obviously, I first want to discuss all the news, then we'll look at updated projections and then we'll also go ahead and look at our updated rankings and see if we need to change anything.
So, AJ Brown not listed on the injury report and Saquon Barkley not listed on the injury report as well for that Monday game. Um, so for this, I dropped Tank Bsby myself. I actually just picked up a defense for week 11 on my bench instead of rostering Bigsby as I had Saquon Barkley. So, I was a little bit concerned with the groin from two weeks ago, but Matthew Golden still listed as questionable as well as Dantavian Wixs.
Um, you'll see with the projections. Romeo Dobs looks like a really good start this week based off all the injuries that you have in Green Bay. Justin Fields will be the starting quarterback in week 10 for the New York Jets. You'll see the projections really are not a fan of Garrett Wilson specifically, but we can talk about that in a second.
Um, the Niners hope that Brock Pery can return in week 11, but you're not going to get Pery back this week. Um, Jaden Daniels could miss three to six weeks. So, pretty good news if you add Jaden Daniels. It does look like I probably have to go back and add him to the rankings again. Right when we add that injury, I just assumed he was out for the rest of the fantasy football season. So, I had removed him from the site entirely, but looks like that was probably the wrong move.
Matthew Golden considered day today. Aaron Jones expected to play in week 10. You'll see this with the projections in a second, but this makes it where under no circumstance can you start Jordan Mason. I actually thought Jordan Mason would have been an intriguing start this week. Um, but again, things change. This is one of those I was expecting Aaron Jones to miss and now he is going to play.
So, Shepy says that Kyler and the Cardinals are gonna have to re-evaluate their relationship going forward. Um, this is the scariest thing my fiance could ever tell me, but if you're Kyler Murray, the writing was on the wall, right? You hope that he would have seen this coming from a million miles away. Um, and yeah, we'll see what happens. I'd assume that Kyler and the Cardinals are not together in the long term, but they have a ton of guaranteed money going in his direction.
Um, let's see. Pugnakua not listed on the injury report. He will be fully good to go. Mac Jones going to start. Ricky Pierall has been ruled out. Nick Chub no longer listed on the injury report for week 10. So Woody Marks not super exciting. Cooper Cup questionable. Tory Horton is doubtful. If both cup Tory Horton and the tight end in Seattle all miss Shahed could be playable his first week as a Seahawk, but you'd probably rather avoid it if you can.
Um, Jakory Crossin Barrett not listed on the injury report for week 10, but they did name Chris Rodriguez as a team captain. So, I would not be excited to start JCM anytime soon. Terry McLaren officially listed as outs. Penny Su not listed on the injury report. Brian Thomas will not be playing. That was the expectation. Cole KT not on the injury report and neither is Luther Burton.
So, you'll see DJ Moore is a player that needs to be on your bench. Now, the one thing that I was really hoping we were going to have information on by the time we kicked off this live stream was going to be what we have with DeAndre Swift. But DeAndre Swift, we do not have any clarity yet. He is still questionable. I have moved DeAndre Swift down my rankings and I have moved Kyle Manungai up my rankings. We'll show you those in just one second.
Obviously, I'm going to be live streaming late on Saturday night. I'm going to be live streaming early on Sunday morning, continuing to give you these updates and continue to answer your questions. So, if you wanted to um get that DeAndre Swift update, just make sure you are subscribed. And also with that in mind, if you want to get guaranteed free questions that you can ask us in the live streams where I'm going to be streaming every single day until Christmas answering your questions, um you can take advantage of the offer on Underdog Fantasy.
I'm about to show you all the projections on Underdog, which I personally use for my own fantasy team, making cert decisions if I am stuck on a player. But if you sign up to Underdog Fantasy and use promo code Flock, you will get $100 added to your account after you play your first five. And on top of that, you will get a free pick. I believe it's going to be a free Aaron Rodgers pick, higher, lower, half a total yard for the game tomorrow. And Code Flock will give you free questions that you can ask me in the live streams that I'm streaming every single day until Christmas. link is in the description as well as the comment section.
But let's go ahead and let's check out some of the projections. And what I do every Saturday is I go ahead and I look at all the higher lower than total yardage for running backs and wide receivers. I rank them based off these projections and I show you the rankings and this allows us to see some players that maybe the fantasy football community is a little too high on and actually should be looking to bench or vice versa, the players that maybe we are a little bit too low on.
So, first projections I want to look at are going to be the projections for the running backs. So, again, I went ahead and I ordered these. You'll see my rankings on flockfantasy.com do not match these exactly one for one. But when I find that I am very different with the player in comparison to underdog fantasy, it does tell me I need to move this guy up my rankings. And one player that we had to move up our rankings in a dramatic way both rest of season and this week is Rico Dattle.
If you look at the tier of the elite running backs here with the projections this week, you have McAffrey higher lower 119 and a half total yards. Bejon 116 and a half, Jonathan Taylor 115 12 and Rico Dattle 113 and a half total yards higher lower. So he projects out only two yards worse than Jonathan Taylor. three yards worse than Bejon Robinson and six yards worth it worse than Christian McAffrey. So this was one of those instances where I saw this and went well you know what we need to make sure that we are respecting Rico Dattle in these rankings and I moved Rico Dattle up to our running back four in our rankings this week. I don't have him in the same tier as underdog fantasy does with these top level pieces. I have him more so in the Aan Gibbs, James Cook, Saquon Barkley tier, but we did move them up dramatically.
Then the other must start running backs according to these projections are going to be Devon Aan, Jamir Gibbs, James Cook, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Quinn Sean Judkins. Maybe Judkins is the one player worth pointing out here. But keep in mind he's going up against the Jets. Jets have a defense that now people should be able to just walk all over after trading their top two players.
Then the other tier of must start names are going to be Derrick Henry, Ky Williams, Breeall, Jaylen Warren. So maybe Bree Saul and Jaylen Warren are the two surprises and seeing them project out this much better than what you have with some of these other players. But I do want to remind you that these are two running backs that are just consistently seeing work um as three down players. So I recently traded for Bree Hall with my own fantasy team. I went ahead and I sent the combination of Roma and Travis CTN for Bree Hall and Jaylen Wadd. Comment section said that I won the deal. The other creators in the league told me that I had lost it. But regardless, I do think at this point you probably should be looking to move Bree in a similar tier with the Jaylen Warren range. I am not going to jump over Gent who's already played. But I think he does belong in this tier even if it's a very tough matchup going up against the Cleveland Browns.
Then the running backs that you can consider starting, they are not players that you need to bench. Travis ETN brutal matchup high or lower 75 and a half total yards. Henderson 72 and a half with Noandre Stevenson. DeAndre Swift 68 and a half. Rashad White 66 and a half. Tyrone Tracy 66 and a half. Kenneth Walker 65 and a half. Kyle Manungi 62 and a half. So right now the projections still like DeAndre Swift more than Kyle Manungi. And I will say if we end up getting word that DeAndre Swift is going to miss the game tomorrow, then all of a sudden Kyle Manungai will jump up to more so being in this tier alongside Josh Jacobs as well as Quinn Sean Judkins. And Kyle Manungai will be a mustart player. But how I'm playing this right now is I personally would like to avoid starting either of the Chicago Bears running backs if we could just because the uncertainty of what the split's really going to be like.
Then you have Kamani Vidal, David McGomery as well in this tier. If you're looking at my rankings on flogfantasy.com, you'll see that I have McGomery ranked higher than some of these running backs ahead of him like Tyrone Tracy because I really do like the upside that you're going to get for a touchdown with a player like McGomery even if Tracy projects to see more yards just based off the offenses that they are playing in.
Now, moving down to our next tier, these running backs are players that if you can, you should bench. Alvin Kamara, Woody Marks, Dermacado, Zack Charbanet are anywhere between 57 and a half and 48 and a half yards with their projection. Then you have Single Terry, Bam Knight, Jordan Mason, Nick Chub. So Jordan Mason has gotten nuked with these rankings. 100% you need to bench Jordan Mason if you have him. Again, I thought he was going to be interesting early in the week, but also I thought that you were going to have no Aaron Jones. Now that Aaron Jones is playing, my expectations are going to be that they split the backfield 50/50. Aaron Jones probably sees the work as a receiver. Um, if I pull up the projections that you have with Aaron Jones, Aaron Jones actually does project out higher lower 62 and a half total yards in comparison to Jordan Mason at 52 42 and a half. though. Honestly, seeing that I already had Aaron Jones right there in ahead of Jordan Mason, but I'm actually probably going to move Aaron Jones to the tier above him in my rankings on flockfantasy.com.
Then the last tier running backs that nobody should consider starting would be Jaka Crosky, Merritt, Kenneth Gainwell, Blake Cororum, Emanuel Wilson, Vichel Tutin, Tyler Algier. All of those players are easy avoids.
Now we can move over to the wide receivers. the wide receivers. There are a few interesting names that I want to point out to you here that I was maybe a little bit surprised by. And the um top players, we don't need to discuss too much because we already know that you are starting them. Now, of course, if you want to say, "Oh, Mason, these are horrible. Oh my gosh, Pukanua is easily going to go higher than 94 and a half total yards." Um, don't scream at me in the comment section by that. Just go take the higher than 94 and a half on Underdog Fantasy. My take would be underdog probably knows more than you do. They definitely know more than I do. So, I'm kind of gonna listen to him here.
Now, going over and looking at the next here, we're going to have St. Brown, Jefferson, London, and Ibuka still as must start names. Then, the other players that you would have to get in your lineup in my mind are going to be Z Flowers, Lad Mcconi, Nico Collins, Jaylen Wadd, Devonte Adams, and Debo Samuel.
Um, I think maybe the two names worth pointing out here that people are going to be a little bit surprised to see how well they project out are going to be Nico Collins as well as Jaylen Waddle. Typically, you will see these players that are the wide receiver ones in their bad offenses actually projecting out better from a yardage perspective than where you would see them um from a um like overall fantasy points perspective. And the reason for that is you're just looking at the touchdown probability being a little bit different for the names like Nico Collins, Jaylen Wadd, and garbage offenses in comparison to somebody like Devonte Adams. Which is why you'll see like underdog as Nico and Wadd to have more receiving yards than Devonte Adams this week. However, if you look at my rankings, I have Devonte Adams ranked in an entirely different tier than Nico Collins and Jaylen Waddle. I hope that Nico and Waddle come through in a big time way like these projections would indicate because um I'm starting them on my own fantasy team and I would tell you as well if you have Nico if you have Wadd I definitely think you need to start them like I said the wide receivers 12 and above here I do think are must start names.
Then taking a teardrop down you are going to have Michael Pitman Jr. higher lower 58 and a half total yards. Still a must start wide receiver. I would say most of these players inside the top 24 you are looking to start. AJ Brown, Stefon Diggs, Alec Pierce, Marvin Harrison, Garrett Wilson, Chris Alave, Roma Dunce, Romeo Dobs, Dvont Smith, DK Mechaf, Wel Robinson. And I know some people are um maybe a little bit surprised by one name here in particular, and that one name is going to be Alec Pierce. But yes, Alec Pierce currently is higher lower 56 and a half total yards. Whereas, if you're going to look at somebody like DK Metaf, DK Metaf is currently higher, lower 51 and a half. So, realistically, I'm not going to tell you to start Alec Pierce over Metaf. You can see in my own rankings, I have Alec Pierce down at about wide receiver, you got to remove the by-weeks. If you remove the by-weeks, I have Alec Pierce around like wide receiver 27 in our rankings this week, despite him having the 16th best projection across all these players. Um, so I'm a little bit lower on Alec Pierce than underdog projections, but they clearly have Alec Pierce as a viable play if you're in a league in which you're dealing with a bunch of week 10 buys and you need to throw a wide receiver in.
Then going over to our next tier, these are all of a sudden the wide receivers that if you can, I would want to. Khalil Shakir, Jawan Jennings, Parker Washington, Tez Johnson, Jameson Williams, Tedaroa McMillan, Jordan Addison, Quinton Johnston, Kenan Allen, Darius Sllayton, Shahit. The one name that's maybe a little bit different in this tier than we're used to is Tedo McMillan. But with the hamstring injury, I do think you have to lower your expectations for T McMillan. So, if he was in your starting lineup, I would look to get him out. Again, you currently have Alec Pierce projected out for 11 more yards. So, realistically, I would probably plan on picking up Alec Pierce from the waiverwire and starting him over Tedo McMillan this week in particular.
And then going over and looking at our last tier wide receivers, we have DJ Moore, Deario Douglas, Josh DS, Christian Watson, Jerry Judy, Jacobe Myers, Christian Kirk, and Keon Coleman. Yes, DJ Moore closer to like Keon Coleman this week than he is to say Marvin Harrison in the rankings. I know DJ Moore was very exciting as a play last week. We had him a lot higher in our rankings last week because he got to play the Cincinnati Bengals, but this week the matchup's not nearly that good. While at the same time, you have Cole KT good to go. You have Luther Burden good to go. And without the pass catchers last week, DJ Moore still only had six targets.
So, if we're looking at the projections, the big two takeaways that I have from a wide receiver perspective is Alec Pierce is a very good start if you need a by-week fill in. And at the same time, DJ Moore is somebody that I've seen some of y'all put in your starting lineups this week because he had the big week last week, and I would highly stray away from it. big takeaways that I have from a running back perspective will be that DeAndre Swift, Kyle Manungai both probably look unstable if you have DeAndre Swift playing. Um, and then also Jordan Mason is now unstartable with the Aaron Jones um, status.
But of course, if you want to say Mason, these projections are absolute garbage, there's no reason we should ever be looking at these and no reason why we should consider tweaking our fantasy football rankings from them. I am so much smarter. I know so much more ball. Well, I got great news for you. I'll leave you the link to Underdog Fantasy in the description in the comment section in the live chat. You're more than welcome to go high and take the higher, take the lower on whatever player you think is wrong. Um, you'll get a $100 after you play your first five as well if you use code flock. And you'll get a gimme Aaron Rogers pick, higher, lower, half a total yard for the game tomorrow. And you'll get free questions that you can ask me in the live streams. And I'm live streaming every single day until Christmas answering your free questions. But I'll leave that link in the description in the comment section. I'll be live probably around 8:30 Eastern tonight to answer your questions. But thank you again, ladies and gentlemen. really appreciate you and hope I get to see you.
