I find it so satisfying that finally I can open up this map and not go, not take my computer to have like 10 FPS. Like, it's, uh, it's quite amazing.
Welcome, guys, to another Age of Empires 4 casted game. This time, we have in the color orange playing as this Goku Damio. It is the one and only Dento, also known as Gento, Gento, however you want to call him. I think a few times in this channel, in the color yellow playing as the opposite dynasty. It is Sang Goku OTP, also known as Beasty Cutie. We're going to be playing Hive, which is going to be very interesting.
Look at the wood lines here. Can you imagine some walls? Can we have some, um, can we have some walls here? I think that that will be very, very nice. Look at this. You can pretty much close your entire base. You still need a, a very big wall here, but considering this map is like very, very, it's kind of open. It's kind of wild. It's a very big map. It's very good for raiding because the food is very far away. I have the deer back here in the back. I have the, also have the gold. Uh, that could be a potential 2TC here for for Beasty. And I think he's going to have enough time because against Singoku. By the way, I'm going to change the colors here. Let's take a look. Okay, that I think that's better, right? I think that's better. I got to really change the point of view of each player. So, we're going to have to keep busy on red and and dental on blue.
All right. So, that could be a really good TC, especially because S Goku don't really age up super fast. They don't put a lot of pressure very early on. He's going for the deer very early, which is very nice for him. Pretty much means that I don't, he may want to fight in the, in the feudal age. He's going to be delaying a lot. Like, he's, he's getting the yatai. He already have two yaties here. He's going to, he's going to be getting the yatai and also he's going to be going for the deer early on. Keep in mind these guys have survival techniques already researched. So he's going to be having crazy food economy soon. This is no longer the case. Next patch, they are not going to be able to have survival techniques already researched. So they won't be able to gather, uh, the food super, super fast just like they're doing now. They should be able to spend a little bit of gold. Uh, very fair nerf to be honest. Very fair. I can see why the developers did it at the at the beginning just because like Sangoku had this, this main mechanic is, is evolving around the yaties, right, and the matsuri. So it makes a lot of sense. Like, you want to force the player to go out in the map as much as possible, as early as possible. So survival techniques already researched, it turned out S Goku is a little bit, uh, overpowered here. So we'll see, we'll see.
BC opening up with the economic wing. I don't think he can make any damage if he went for military wing. Let's take a look at the spot here. So gold in the back. Not really a fan of this. By the time this guy's come, probably can already put a tower here. Not really the best. You could potentially push here with the military wing, forcing him to go back, but you will be delaying your second TC by a few seconds. So, look at this Koka Township coming soon. So you think like Abbasid has a very good TC timing. It doesn't necessarily the case. It's just cheaper. So, um, so yeah, you can possibly put it here, but you will need the, the food. And a good thing about going ecoing is that you don't really, in case you, you lose map control, in case the opponent goes for some cavalry, some aggression early on. And typical case is the French, you're going to be losing map control and then you're going to be, um, blocking is going to be blocking the food from you. So you can always go farms as, as it said. Yeah, they cost more than the English farms, that are not super cheap, but you also have better batter rates, so that compensates. You can pretty much go for a very cheap farm transition.
Very nice wall coming here. Going to be feeling super safe from this side of the map. And we're going to be seeing sables. All right. So, Gento going to be, Oh, actually have the barriers here. I didn't saw them. Gento going to be putting some pressure here. Most likely he's going to be trying to take down the second town center. Now, uh, it's hard to defend the second town centers. It's really hard. Like with Abbasid, like for example, you're playing HRE or OTD, you can use emergency repairs. You, you're feeling good about yourself. With Abbasid, your perm is a little bit slow at the beginning, so you need enough units to defend very early on. And that's, that's gonna be tricky. It's also very far away. It's also very far away. Sometimes, uh, players put a TC very close to the base, so it's very conservative and it's like, there's no way you take it down. Like, there's no way you go this. But if you do that, you all obviously lose a lot of access to to food, right? So, uh, that's a tradeoff. So Beasty is going to be having the town center very exposed here. I think this gold is even safer than the one next to the TC cuz you have the, the town center next to it as well. It's going to be playing very defensively.
First Spearman out. Second Spearman as well. Now, Abbasid Spearman are obviously really nice. Like they, they have extra, extra range attack with, with the upgrade with the palance. So they should be good against, uh, against horns. They, they are one of the best spearmen in the game. I, I think I, without any type of, uh, discussion, I think Order of the Dragon spearmen are the best by far. Like, look at this. Uh, one of them would have been died already if, uh, if Order of the Dragon spearmen were here. It's the only spearmen you respect. This one's like, nah, I'm just going to be more covered. Uh, Gento is not really, is not really risking it. He's having some Yumi archers as well. He does have the Damio for the extra attack. He, he went for the teeter clam Damio state. So they're, they're going to have him having extra movement speed eventually. He's going to be sacrificing the attack, which is going to be really important for, for Sang Goku. Very, very important.
I find like very funny resource collected for Sangoku is higher than Abbasid. Anyway, uh, 17 villagers for Gento, 10 villagers for Abbasid. It's going to be pretty much allowing Dento to, uh, to just keep pumping the units. It has a lot of food here. Has a lot of food. Have deer here. Look at this walls. He's actually not like pegging into the town area. So, like actually taking his time. You know, Beasty is a guy who likes to raid a lot. Whenever you are attacking, Beasty is also attacking you. So you need to keep your, you need to keep an eye on everything. That's a very nice wall coming for him. Very, very nice wall. Meanwhile, [screaming] horsemen got to be getting something here. Remember this, this guy have extra attack speed, so they may potentially get something. It's five in total. Five worker kills in total. Oh my god, that's, that's quite a lot. I don't know where the other two happened, but that's, uh, that's no bueno. No bueno at all. Yumi archers coming. Still no signs of him going for a second Damio to upgrade the Yumi. So luckily for him, Beasty doesn't have a. Oh, look at this. The Spearman raid. Luckily for him, Beasty doesn't have the plus one range armor. It's very wild that he actually went to raid with the Spearman here. He's going to be pushing Dento from this deer pack. Same time Dento's army is here. He's going to be getting reinforcements. He's going to be able to take it down. I don't think so. Right. Like, uh, any of the Beasty is going to repair this very easily. Not enough archers here to defend it. Probably the yatai going to be going down. I don't think so. It's going down. All right. It looks like the end of us paying attention to somewhere else in the screen because you can actually repair it and they repair super fast. Super, super fast. I managed to kill one villager. It was nice. I don't know where he went down. I probably here and he didn't finish the wall. That's very annoying for him. Whenever you are defending, sometimes the best way to defend is to actually attack. Going to be having Spearman and horsemen for him.
It's going to be a delicate balance for Beasty to see when you're going to be going for the castle age, when you're going to be going for the feudal age because this strategy is really hard to execute because you constantly need to keep an eye on the opponent like how much gold they're mining, are they going castle, are they aging up? Because if they age up before you, then it becomes really hard for you to defend because you will try to age up as well. But your age up is really slow as Abbasid. So you're going to, you have to keep an eye on the gold. You have to keep an eye on the gold of the opponent. There's no other way around. Chinoi has entered the battle and looks like Gento is going to go for it. He's going to be getting the upgrade for the Yumis plus one range, range attack and they got to be going for the second TC. That's a lot of villagers on the run. speed and get out of the town center just like that. There's plenty of, plenty of archers here. Plenty of archers. That's a good thing about Yumi. They're really cheap. He's going to be trying to take down the TC without the rams because that's, uh, they're going to be really hard to do. Actually forcing the villagers to go back. He has the vision. He has the vision. has to scatter around here apparently because in this stealth forest it's really hard to, to actually try to take fights if you don't have a scout. Looks like there's a scout around here. Yeah, there, there it is. Hive is one of those maps that kind of force you to have good habits and go out with your scout to have vision, otherwise these barriers will have gotten away with that. And he's 13 villagers behind. 13 villagers behind Beasty. It's not so far ahead on the economy. You can see, uh, Sengoku is still ahead by quite a, just a little bit. And the town center is not paying off. It's just a, just a few builders ahead, but it's not Abbasid doesn't have many bonuses other than the golden age, whereas Sang Goku have the yaties. They have the, eventually in Castle, they get the passive gold income as well. They're going to be taking the yatai, which is really nice. Looks pretty all in here. It's like, wow, taking down a lot of villagers. Is he trying to go for castle? Not. Uh, he's probably thinking about it. There's a tower here. Beasty is going to be able to spot this out. This tower is going to be very important information for him because he sees a tower. He says, "All right." So, he's trying to go castle, meaning Beasty also needs to go to try to go castle, otherwise he's going to be fighting against, uh, upgraded units and you don't really want that. You don't really want that. Keep in mind those javelins do extra damage against horsemen. So even this looks like a fair fight. It's not, it's not like this. The spearmen just try to connect here, but the Yumi are too much of a trouble for him. So still, uh, quite a lot of farms around here, quite a lot of farms. That's going to be good for him because he should be able to garrison on these villagers around here. 18 villagers down in total. That's, uh, that is rough. But the good thing is because he goes for the economic wing, he does have a lot of farms. He does have a lot of farms, which means eventually you have to go to be running out of food. Not anytime soon, but Beasty at the beginning, he was slowing down the army so far. But now he should be able to pump more and more. Like that's usually what happens. It's going to be a nicer run for the horsemen here. Apparently to manage to run away from this. I was very lucky if you lose this, this archer mass like that's, uh, that, that is a tough spot. He's trying to go for that castle age. He's trying to go for that one and that's a lot of units. And these armies are very easy for Beasty to actually micro. Just a move. Just, just like that, a move and that's it. It's actually losing a lot of, uh, horsemen here. Quite a lot. Not enough archers for him to, to take down this pack. It's really hard for micro for him because he has to micro the horsemen and everything. It's just really hard. Meanwhile, Beasty just needs to a move and that's it. That's all he needs to do.
[screaming] Still, he, he's not mining gold at the moment. He's not thinking about aging up. But Gento, oh, this is the worst thing that could happen to you. You try to go for that castle and you have a fight where you're kind of forced to have it. You're kind of forced to have it, or rather you take it, but you didn't have to. Now you're losing a lot of units, which means if you go castle age now, the opponent can definitely push you if you don't have enough units. So he delayed his castle. He's making more units now. And that's an awkward situation because if you see, Gento has 1,000 gold. 1,000 gold that he's not really using it for anything. He tried to go for that castle, but now he's not. He's not. He's just going to be making more units because otherwise Beasty will just push now. Obviously, he has the walls here. Uh, it's, it should be very hard for him. It's a little bit, uh, I think there's a hole here. Maybe a hole is going to go for it again. Beasty 12 villagers on gold. That pretty much means like I need to go castle really, really fast. 1.7k food per minute. Let's take a look at how many, how many farms we have. But we actually cannot because we're going to change the colors here. We cannot. That's, uh, that's that's good enough, I believe. Good enough for amount of farms. Very nice raid coming from Beasty. Taking down quite a few villagers here. Definitely going to help a bit. He's not super far ahead on the villager count. Like he lost 23 villagers. It's really, really hard to defend against this. Already have enough for that castle age. Of course, it's going to be the sake brewery going to be next to the Matsuri. Extra, extra bonus for them. Meanwhile, he have enough gold, but he's making more units. Now, he does have a very nice army. Not only that, his food economy looks really nice. But actually going for the boar is very far away. Not going to be risking it. Going to be making a tower first, just in case. And Gary going to try to find something. At least he going to be sending the horsemen as well. Are they going to go for? Are they going to go for the boars? He has scouted this side of the map, so he knows there's berries here. He's probably going to go there already.
Age begins for Goku and he immediately cues up the upgrades. I think he didn't, he saw the tower. He's like, "Okay, never mind. Pulling back for now." Meanwhile, Beasty very, very close for, for age up. He has stopped the production of any kind of unit. Should be hitting that bottom very, very soon. Meanwhile, the upgrades are coming soon for Sang Goku and they also come with a couple of Monk Samurai. The entire wing is going to be the choice for, for Beasty. Obviously, the best choice here. You have a lot of speed and can get the boot camp. Can also get a couple of camels right away to help you debuff all this army. But holy, that's, uh, there's quite a lot of dudes here. There's quite a lot of dudes. He's going to try to take down the TC. This is Gento's time. He has the upgrades. He has the army. And Beasty only needs to have patience here because he needs to wait one minute to get all the upgrades. This is a fight he don't really want to take, but he kind of have to. A lot of villagers are inside. This town may potentially go down. That's a lot of units here. But you got to be careful with the Spearman. They, if they really close, if they get really close to the horsemen, they may be able to take them down very, very quickly. That's a lot of the spearmen. They also have the extra range with the palance. So you need to be extra careful against. I think he tried to take down the TC just with the horsemen, but he's not risking it. He's, he's really not risking it. I, I have seen he definitely can torch it down. There's a lot of Montamur here as well. That's a lot of them. Oh, Spearman always in the right position. Horsemen looking very solid as well. And there's enough gold for Beasty to get all the upgrades as soon as possible. I think at, as soon as possible, he should get a veteran upgrade for these guys. He should get the veteran for the horsemen also. Plus two range armor will be very good in this case.
Gento is going to be seeing the age up, but he has to go for it, probably. I think this, this is a fight that Gento should be having a quite [laughter] a quite a good time, right? He has all the buffs here. Camels arrived. So, all these horsemen are going to get the debuff. And not only that, the spearmen still pumping. Look at this. I, I don't know how many production buildings the Beasty has. You got to really check. But I guess he have quite a bunch because he, he's having a lot of, a lot of dudes in queue. A lot of dudes in queue. Immediately cues up knights at the town center. Still alive. Veterans for this, these units are coming really soon. And even without the veterans upgrades, he still managed to, to actually took down most of Gento's army. Just like that. [screaming] Plus two range armor already here. And now Beasty just needs to rally all the units to the enemy base. That's usually how it comes with age up. You, you wait, you wait, you keep waiting and then you go for it. More lanterns coming. And they're probably going to go think about he's been using a lot of food. So most likely he's just going to go for the base. No single farm for Sing Goku. Just keep that in mind. Not a single farm. He's going for the boar here. But he doesn't have a single farm. He doesn't have two berries here, two berries there, one deer, and that's it. He don't have food to make more units. Meanwhile, Beasty have pretty much, it's pretty much done his farm economy. As I mean, this is as, as good as it gets at this point. Like you can even put more farms for very, very cheap now. And you even getting extra food from, from this upgrade, uh, the agriculture, which is going to make your farms extra juicy.
Now obviously not going to, not going to risk it. He, he lost quite a lot of villagers early on. He knows he's ahead. He doesn't know how much ahead. I'm just going to be sending the cavalry just to raid. Going to be decapping this and probably will be taking the boar. There's, there isn't a single tower here. The monastery going to be in place. Obviously, the Damio is already here. This guy's going to have juicy attack speed. Apparently, the attack speed was buffed. So, they are, they were better than what the paper said. Gento getting some eco upgrades as well. But, uh, biggest thing is he doesn't have farms. Starting to make some. Starting to have some farms. Beasty's armies already here. He probably tried to wall here as well to be extra safe. He has all the spearmen around. All the spearmen already. And he's going to be actually going for camels. Maybe having the extra speed for the camels is going to be really nice. I have a couple of them already. I don't know if they have the armor. They don't have the armor upgrade yet. Beasty. I have a huge army here. He probably going to go for it. Like, all right, he's not in the boar. Like, he's only here. He has the gold here. That's, that's it. Let's take a look at the relics. By the way, only one coming home for Gento. At the same time, Beasty will go with the cavalry here. Better be taking another outpost. I, I think this, this may go down. It has springling placement.
