Comments easier, and it's taking its dear old time to load up. Anyways, just might not work for me today.
Hey, what's up Maxi Montro? Dustin Rusty Bot, John Conway, Papa, what's up? Guys, yeah, I'm um, I'm just going to do one workout today, and that will be this evening's workout. I woke up a bit under the weather, and um, I'm just going to take it, uh, I'm just going to do one workout today because of that.
Hey, greetings. Matthew Davis says, "Took a picture of got John Conway on his channel in my living room. We'll try and post it on the Discord." Taking pictures of John Conway, man. I was just checking out your channel, John, last night. Pretty epic.
Hey, John. Good morning. Yep. Just a bit under the weather this morning. So, instead of working out two times a day, I'm just going to do it once a day. I got the rabbit down here, too. When she's done exploring, maybe she'll come over and hang out with us.
Hey, yeah, drinking some petrol. Uh, I got a little bit of honey in my coffee this morning. Glenn, welcome to the chats. Flores, welcome. King using your sucker-free bands this morning. Nice. I'm going to do it, too. Might as well. Yeah. Thank you. It's been a long time since I had any tattoos. I'm just drinking coffee.
Hey, good morning, Ally. Maybe I'm going to do a little ankle mobility since I'm sitting down. Rabbits all over the place. Come here. Show everybody how cool you are.
Hey, Top Gun just subbed to John's John Conway. Heck yeah. All right. There we go. Hey, third ward. Antoine says, "Gain 10 lbs of muscle from the cards." Heck yeah. Card game is awesome. Yeah. Riddler henchman from the Batman. Stormy. She's going to come over here eventually.
Hey, California in the house. What's up, Andrea? Frazzle Dustin. Oh, yeah. Jesse, did you hear about Gravity Core? Yeah, I caught him yesterday on the live. Yep. Sending them good energy, good vibrations. Stormy. Yeah, everybody. Uh, yeah. Just be positive, right? She's exploring. Exploring. We should be timing these durations.
Hey, Ton Steel Chop. How you doing? You don't want to be petted. She's too, too excited to be down here just looking at everything. This is Stormy. Stormy, man. Hybrid Athletic. Hey, welcome to the chat. Said just subscribe to John Conway. Heck yeah. Pretty awesome. Got a nice channel. So far so good. Let's time our duration just because.
Hey void, welcome to the chats. Hey sir, good morning. What's your split? Well, it's ever-changing, you know, but uh, generally I like to do a 3-day split and just keep that in repeats, but sometimes, sometimes I'll work out so much that I just have to resort to the next least worked out muscle group. Well, that minute duration feels good. Okay, so I'm going to count those as two one-minute durations. I'm only going to put down one card though. That's going to represent two feet.
I'm going to hit that reset button on my Wi-Fi. Maybe that'll kick it back if it's gone or something. Sometimes it works. Hey, greetings. Welcome to the chat. There we go. You got to lay down, you know, when I, when I'd be rescuing dogs, you know, they'd be all sorts of jittery until you lay down, right? You got to lay down and get on their level. The dogs can have PTSD pretty hard if you don't know. Takes a while to break them from that kind of um habits.
Let's do another minute duration. That was good. That felt all right. Hey Darren, welcome to the chats. Oh, yeah, it feels great. Cole says, "John Conway said, 'Would be great. Hope you and Jesse collab again soon. That was fun to watch.'" Heck yeah. I'm sure it'll be a common thing. Seem pretty good, a seeming pretty good in it.
Hey, what you doing, buddy? Exploring. Got to explore. Nice. How many daily push-ups can you get can get you big? Guaranteed. Oh, the magic number. You're looking for magic numbers. Yeah. Um, thousand reps guaranteed will get you jacked no matter what. Thousand reps of anything will get you jacked.
Minute duration. Once I was started doing a thousand push-ups every day, it only took me like 20, 25 minutes to do, right? Knock out a thou quick, thousand reps. I mean, when you're looking at, when you look at the situation like that, say, "Well, I got 20 minutes, you know, I got 20 minutes. I can do a workout." And then you knock out a thousand and you do that every day. You can't escape the change, right? You can't escape it. That's what I learned in prison, right?
I've recently expanded my ideas. I like the one-minute duration, right? And just burn out for that one-minute duration. Cuz usually 50 reps per set times 20 sets gets you your thousand pretty quick. But when you're doing one-minute durations, I think we're getting over the 50 reps every set, just taking it to failure.
Hey, Sam says, "I did 400 push-ups in 30 minutes yesterday. Blew my mind. I was like, could I do another 400?" Yeah. Yeah, man. You can. It's pretty amazing, right? How quickly you adapt to it. Matthew Davis says, "I'm 300 push-ups in 450 clip rest." Heck yeah. Bam. 50, 50 clip reset. Right. Perfect. Matthew Davis.
Hey, Reena. Welcome to the chats. I got a cousin named Reena. That is our two one-minute durations. Time under tension. Our bunny friend is near. Curious rabbit. Curious rabbit. All right. All right, another minute duration. She's very busy. What's wrong with your head, man? Boy, it sounds like a song. Where is my mind?
All right. Thoughts on Mike Mener? High-intensity training. Was it high-intensity training? I don't know. It kind of, kind of is. Kind of is, but kind of isn't. All right. Yeah. A few interesting ideas. And I like to say that is a great way, uh, very similar to like grease the groove, you know, just like incorporating working out in your daily life, like set, set up workout stations here and there across the house. Then when you just come across them, you just do them like doorway pull-ups and stuff. Me and my brother had this awesome game that on each door frame, we did one pull-up in the entire house growing up. And uh, we weren't allowed to pass through a door frame without doing one pull-up. And uh, that became such a crazy, insane game. It was awesome.
Con Steel Chomp $2. Thank you for this calming workout. I like your jacket. Thanks. It's a little chilly in the basement when you're not doing much. Thanks, Ton Steel Chop. Appreciate the channel support. This will be, I think, our fourth. Only got three cards. I might have missed one. I think it's the fourth though. My ankles feel pretty, pretty good from that.
Stormmy, where'd you go? Oh, come here. Come here. Just hanging out. Hey, Matthew Davis, just gifted some memberships. Heck yeah, man. Thanks for the channel support, guys. Welcome aboard. Every Sunday we get a, uh, members-only workout. And uh, Real Deal Prime got a membership. Daniel got a membership. Shane got a membership. Yeah, guys, welcome aboard. DJ the Reptile Keeper. All received memberships from Matthew Davis. Thanks for the channel support, guys. And welcome aboard.
You have a lot of youth. I think it's just a, uh, a feeling, right? You know what? I, I think that we need to focus on finetuning our feelings, like just be in the the process of feeling that youthfulness, you know, being young, you know, energetic. I mean, we are what we say we are. A lot of us are very negative with our self-talk, talking about, "I am hurt," or "I am too, too this," or "too that," or "this can never be achieved for me." Um, but these are all self-defenses, you know, we're giving our self these definitions.
Alrighty then. Another minute duration. Oh, I'll be 44 in January. Yeah. 44 in January. Yeah. Yeah. 1982. Wow. What's the stretch, boss? We're just working on the ankles a little bit. Talking about juicers. Juicers are nice. We got a juicer upstairs. We grabbed, um, grabbed one from the thrift store the other day. It's all there except for the back, uh, where it all comes out into. It's all good though. We got a fix for it. Juicers are nice. I'm going to be juicing up some celery. Yep. Celery juice.
Greetings. Lust Lucus. What's up, Ren Bamel? How you doing, guys? Welcome to the chats. William, thanks for subscribing. Let's give it another minute duration. Another minute duration. Let's see. How much time did I do? What makes you think I did any time? Do I have that kind of aura? Usually people say that 'cause I'm wearing orange shorts or something. Fully dressed. Same deal. I just did 6 and 1/2 years, and now it's over. Just like that. You did three. Yeah. Yeah. Welcome home.
Hey, Rich. How you doing? That's good. Hybrid Athletics says, "How's Justin?" Oh, Justin's doing pretty awesome. He is focused on this 10 minutes time under tension, right? For strengthening, strength, strengthening his tendons for doing PLES. He's got this whole thing lined out and this protocol he's been using and, um, it's pretty awesome. I'm, I'm, I'm piggybacking off of his. He's doing all the research. I'm like, "Wow, that works great. I'm just going to do that, too." You know, that's why we're counting the cards. We're trying to, cuz, was, cuz all the studies are showing that it doesn't matter how long your workouts are, but after the 10-minute time under tension duration, your tendons receive no more benefit, um, from the workout, no matter how much more you do. So, we've been sticking to that rule of thumb and we've been seeing some pretty good progress.
Let's see. Williams says, "Every bad decision thing you ever did came from choosing, uh, drink first. Now I just focus on working out and taking care of my family, my girl, and my son." Heck yeah. Welcome aboard. I mean, working out's a great, great way to spend your time. I tell you what, I only drank. I remember this clearly, you know, being turning 21 and legally being able to drink. I, I had to like force myself to get used to it because I only drank to fit in, 'cause everybody else I knew drank. That's what everybody did at my age, you know, as a young teen, you know, a young adult, you know, they went to the bars. That's where they met other people and hung out. Um, and I had to force that, you know, I had to force myself to get used to it, you know, that was my experience anyways.
No, I'm 5'10. I'm not. In my opinion, I'm not tall. 5'10. I don't think that's a tall height. Williams says, "I turned 21 in prison." Yeah, time don't stop. Bars are the worst place to meet people. Haha, been there, done that. Axi Mantros says, "Bars are the worst place to meet people." And then you know what? Then you got AA meetings, right? It's pretty much the same thing as a bar, just without the alcohol. A little bit more structured. I, I mean, when I say that, I mean it's like you're going there looking for, um, fellowship, whether it's the bar or it's the, the meeting. Meetings are fun. Still around the alcohol. I've always enjoyed the AA meetings and the NA meetings. That was always a fun thing to do. You see a lot, lot of new guys coming through, and they all got, you know, they, they all got their stories, and it's fun to watch.
Dustin, work session comes to an end today, which means I will be here every day. So, I'm pumped, guys. Heck yeah. All right. Good deal. Yeah, I just work out at the house. Maxi says, "This is the best meeting you can have to forget about alcohol because we never go around that. We just keep our minds busy with more important stuff, right?" You know what? If you got time to drink, you got too much time on your hands. Ah, Maxi says, "Amen to that." Scott says, "That's why I drink too much time." Huh. Yeah. Right. Idle hands are the devil's playground, right? I like that saying. It's true in my experience. You know, I used to drink out of boredom. Just boredom. Just bored with, "Hey, there ain't nothing to do." There was always an excuse. Hey, it's a birthday. Well, let's grab some drinks. Oh, it's a death. Oh, man. Let's get some drinks. Hey, it's noon. Okay, let's get some drinks. You know, there was always an excuse.
Hey Tony, what's up, guys? Ally. Yeah, justification. Holy smokes. I saw. You know what? I saw a beer commercial that said, "You deserve this, right?" You know how, you know how sick that the beer company has to be to actually use that kind of psychology on people by saying, "You deserve this." You know what? 100%, man. 100%.
Marlene, welcome from Germany. How you doing? Rich Burke, how do you pump your biceps? You know, they look monster. I just do that quarter rep range of motion, you know, just a, just a little, just a little reps. I don't do any full range of motion, nothing. Scott says, "I tell myself it's a reward, too." Yeah, it's not right. You be, dude, you say, "I deserve this." Right? And then you're like hugging, hugging that porcelain toilet, right? Telling yourself you deserve this, right? I get it.
Ah, alcohol advertised on the roadside billboards in the UK. Ridiculous, right? Oh, yeah. The big, the billboards while you're driving down the highway. "You deserve this drink. Here you go, guys. Pull over. Matter of fact, pull over at the next truck stop and get yourself some." I love it. You can't, you can't make this up, right? You can't make it up. It is so ridiculous. I feel like we're in like the movie, um, what is that movie? Jeez. The one where they're watering their their food crops with Gatorade. Idiocracy. I feel like I'm stuck in the movie Idiocracy. Yeah, that's, that's kind of what it feels like. Like, you can't make this up, man. It's that crazy. Like, I couldn't, if you made a movie about all this, people would be like, "No, man. That'll never fly. No way people will believe that." But lo and behold.
Hey, Zack, how you doing, man? Welcome to the chats. William just got my 50 diamonds in. Heck yeah. Get that workout. I look better in a t-shirt. Yeah. Great movie, right? I'm going to watch it again. I'm going to watch it again. It's funny how when you watch these older movies, how much of it is like true today. What about that Back to the Future movie, right? All of this stuff, man.
Hey, what's up Mac? Welcome to the chat. Thanks for being here, everybody. Just working my ankles out a little bit. Stormy. Got the rabbit in the background. I don't know if you can see her, but I think she's ready to go up. Done exploring. Hey Nathan, welcome to the chat. Hey Jay, what's going on?
Scott says, "I need to stop drinking so I can afford some sucker-free gear." Yeah, guys, if you'd like to support the channel, we count our reps and sets with these, uh, deck cards we got going on here. You know, it says sucker-free on it. And you just take one card from one side of the deck and you flip it over. Oh, we're doing a five. We're doing a 10. We're doing another 10. You know, like that. Six. It's a good way to work out. I got these resistance bands. Sucker-free resistance bands. Got my logo on it. It's cool, right? And then I got these, uh, super cool push-up locks, and they're sucker-free, of course, right? Appreciate all the channel support.
Bluecollar Fitness, just drinking your coffee. I just finished mine. I had a tall one today. Ah, thanks for being here, everybody. Hey, time flow. Yep, I'm gonna get out of here as well. You know what? I'm going to do a couple more stretches just because I'm on the ground. I might as well do them, then I'll get out of here.
Can you guys touch your toes? Well, that feels good on the hamstrings. You, you know, when I was in karate, we had this like machine that we would turn the crank and it would make our legs go out more and more and more. I want to get another one of those. Those were awesome. 100% awesome. Yeah, I have very limited mobility. Look at that. It's only 90°. Justin is very flexible. My brother Justin Pollock, if you're familiar, man, that feels good.
All right, thank you guys for being here. Um, I am going to work out this evening, and it'll more than likely be a back workout. So, that's the plan. Have a good one, guys. I'll catch you on this evening. Yeah, stretching feels great. I need to stretch more. I really do. All right, guys. Peace.
