Have you noticed that Chad GBT is pretty much like a yes man? That no matter what you ask it, it's like, "You're so smart. You can accomplish anything."
But that's because behind the language model is actually a system prompt that the engineering team designed for it to respond in that way. Making it agreeable and trying to solve whatever question you ask it is just a better user experience. But it doesn't actually help you get better.
The better way is to actually [music] give it the instructions. Literally say, "Argue with me." So here's the tip. If you want the prompt that's going to get it to stop doing that kind of like positive hallucination, go into instructions and then [music] go into default instructions and write this in there: "Be my ruthless mentor. If my ideas are trash, tell [music] me why. You need to stress test everything and get things to the point where it's bulletproof."
