The Hero Association has the S-class. But what about the Monster Association? Because out of the 500 plus members, there's a group that stands at the very top. The strongest of them all, the executives, the chosen few, the Cadres. Crazy strong dragon level threats. Monsters so powerful that even other monsters bow their heads in a mix of respect and fear.
So today we're going to go balls deep into the strongest members of the monster association and those who lead them. Kicking things off, the first cadre we meet, Gettsu. Now this dude isn't just some random monster of the week. Nah, Gettu is different. He's the embodiment of what happens when god tier martial arts talent, obsession with strength, and the twisted philosophy of the monster association all get thrown into a blender.
You see, even before he became a monster, Gagetsu was the very first winner of the superfight tournament. But such power was bound to attract unwanted challengers. And in his case, that challenger was Lord Orochi. The monster king himself pulled up for a 1v one. And well, guess who got folded. But rather than die, Magacho's survival. He swallowed a monster cell, gave up his humanity, and emerged as a dragon level threat.
But it didn't make him crazy. Gettu was actually pretty calm for a monster. That being said, when he strolled into the superfight tournament after casually deleting Genos with one hit, he looked at the other martial artists in disappointment and disgust. Or at least that was the case until he saw Suryu. Because of his talent, Gettu didn't just kill him off. Instead, he offered Bro a job, an executive spot in the Monster Association. He saw so much potential in Suriryu that he saw a world in which he could join him at the very top.
Even against fellow dragon level monsters like Bakuzan, Gagetsu didn't have to try. He blocked every strike with one hand, toyed with him, and calmly explained that no matter how strong you think you are, there is always someone stronger. And he's right. I mean, just look at Grow for example. Even he could never reach the level of Saitama. Talking of the Baldi fact, Jonos even mentions how Gettsu's bottomless pit of power reminded him of Saitama. And there's a reason for that. As the source of Gettu and the other monsters powers actually share a commonality with the caped Baldi because as Gettu mentions, by becoming a monster, you can surpass the limits placed upon the human body. And none embody that level of strength more than Lord Orochi. But we'll get on to him later.
However, regardless of all the aura thought he had, it was never going to be enough as he ran into the wrong bald guy at the wrong time. Their battle was enough to make the ground shake as he landed a few blows on the baldy. However, the end goal was the same as it always is. His death came in.
That being said, whilst Kaketsu was humble in understanding where he truly sat in the food chain, the same cannot be said for Nyan. He's the kind of guy that will talk the most [ __ ] but dips the secondhand start flying. At his core, this kitty was a total saddest. Even back when he was just a regular house cat, it enjoyed torturing and playing with its food until they died in agony. What the?
Talking of his previous life though, it turns out that Nyion's owner smothered him with kisses and hugs, forcing love onto a creature that clearly didn't want it. Thus, that overbearing affection left scars deeper than any claw could cut. And once Nan wantified, it made one thing clear. It chose to live on its own terms, free of anybody else's control or love. That's why when Puri Puri prisoner started preaching about love midfight, Nyan got uncomfortable. For the first time, this smug monster was reminded of its old owner, and it rattled him.
Nonetheless, Nyan was a menace on the battlefield. His claws generated shock waves that could cleave buildings apart. I mean, Sukuna who? His speed was so absurd that even sniper bullets moved in slow motion to him. Nan would even slice through squads in the blink of an eye, purposefully avoiding killer blows just to savor their pain and fear. Moreover, his flexibility was insane. We're talking about a monster that could squeeze through just a 3 mm crack by essentially liquefying his body.
But here's where Nyan's true nature always came back to bite him. When it faces someone undeniably stronger, it fails. Against Saitama, it barely scratched his cape before immediately piecing on out of there. Thus, their downfall came when it crossed paths with Drive Knight. At first, Nan's speed and claws seemed unstoppable. Even sliding inside Drive Knight's own body to shred him apart from the inside. I mean, anyone else would have been done for. However, Drive Knight wasn't anyone else. Even more so if you read the web comic, right? You see, he calmly flooded his systems with fire, roasting Nion alive inside his own armor before then being captured, caged, and prepared for experimentation via dissection. Can't really say I feel bad for him, though, to be honest.
But one of the most iconic members of the Monster Association is, of course, Elder Centipede. This man is all about business and blast. That's right. Bro is one of the very few that is faced off against the number one S-class hero in battle 2 years before the Monster Association began making their big moves. Elder Centipede faced Earth's top hero and got mocked. From that day forward, Elder Centipede would wait and wait and wait for his chance to get revenge. And this is why, despite his cautious nature, the second he heard King scream out that blast had arrived, he dropped everything to throw hands.
Nonetheless, his sheer power is what made him feared even amongst the monsters. Whole cities were leveled just by him passing through. Heroes couldn't even scratch him. Metalbat swung full force and got swatted away like an insect. Even when Metal Knight unleashed barges of missiles, Elder Centipede just shrugged them off like Nerf bullets or something. Even when Bang, Bomb, and Genos teamed up three of the deadliest fighters in the Hero Association, they couldn't put him down. He would just mol regenerate and come back for more.
The crazy part though is that he's not just tanky for something the size of a skyscraper and then some. Elder Centipede was fast and deadly. His jaws could slice Ganos in half. His acid-filled insides could melt through advanced cybernetics like a xenomorph. But ultimately for Elder Centipede though, it didn't matter how big of a bug you were, there was always someone that can squash you. And that man was Saitama. When Bang and Bomb were ready to sacrifice themselves just to buy time, the Baldi casually stepped out from behind King and with a single serious punch [snorts] turned the monster into dust.
In spite of this, Elder Centipede is actually just the warm-up for an even bigger creature that we'll get on to in just a moment. As first, we need to talk about evil natural water. It is quite literally just a load of water with googly eyes and yet it is crazy strong. Psychos had to keep it locked in a vault as the monsters couldn't control it. The second it sensed hostility, even just a flicker of killing intent, even natural water went for the kill. And so, like Elder Centipede, this monster was natural disaster incarnate.
But perhaps the most terrifying part was that despite having no visible brain, this thing wasn't dumb. When Child Emperor tried freezing it, evil natural water casually absorbed the oil from sludge jellyfish, lowering its freezing point and countering the attack. And every drop of liquid it absorbed only made it deadlier. from oil to rain to the ocean itself, rightfully making it one of the association's most dangerous weapons. And when it finally did merge with the ocean, it became exactly that, rising out of the waves as evil ocean water. It had a disaster level of unknown and was referred to as the incarnation of mother sea. And yet, no matter how massive it grew, no matter how terrifying its cannons became, the second it crossed paths with Saitama, well, you can take a guess. My guy split both the monster and the sea itself in half.
That being said, evil natural water is one of the very few monsters to actually survive Saitama's serious punch, as it simply reformed into a tiny weakened puddle. But even in that form, it was still dangerous enough to snipe an A-class hero's throat with a water jet. Nonetheless, the S-class hero Pig God swallowed it whole, where despite its best efforts to fight back, Pig God's stomach acid was something evil natural water just couldn't counter. meaning it was finally game over.
However, its true mission was something far beyond being the Monster Association top dog. In fact, it was a mission sent by none other than God. He wanted Saitama killed as he is known as the abominable fist that turned against God. I'll explain all of this shortly when we get to Lord Orochi. Don't worry, but it's essentially the source of the caped Baldi's power. Thus, to help complete its mission, evil ocean water was also paired with Sage Centipede. the incarnation of Father and a fellow monster with a disaster level so high it was unknown.
With 6,666 freaky ass limbs, this thing truly is a monster. Imagine Elder Centipede, then give it every steroid you can think of. I'm being deadly serious when I say at full stretch, this thing literally managed to reach the Earth's stratosphere. It was that big. In fact, if I'm being honest, I don't even know if that was at full stretch. part of its body may actually still be underground for all we know. And so the bottom line is this dude is [ __ ] big. All right.
Nonetheless, with Grow and Metalbat teaming up together, they were able to put in the work against this behemoth with Grow blasting a tunnel straight through Sage Centipede's body, removing its regenerative core. Even worse, he literally rage baited the monster into chasing after it just so that Grow could karate chop it down the middle and end Sage Centipede's career on the spot.
Now, this next monster is so disgusting and gluttonous that it makes Pig God look like he's counting calories. I'm talking about gums. Bro is built with one primary directive, and that is to eat [ __ ] up. Even Pig God ain't safe. Moreover, its digestive system is just straight up demonic. Gums can melt through concrete, machinery, even flesh tougher than dark shines steelike skin. Even Pig God, who usually digests monsters in seconds, admitted that his stomach was inferior, and that's saying something.
However, Gums doesn't just hunger, it rages when that hunger is interrupted. When Pig God saved Tanktop Master from its jaws, it went berserk. When Bang redirected Fur Ugly's punch into its face and made it spit out Genos, it lost its mind and tried to eat Ugly alive. But be it friend or foe, nobody can avoid the throne goat. It legit managed to munch through Tatsumaki's psychic barrier. Something that even dragon level monsters struggled to scratch. Even when Genos incinerated its insides from within, Gum survived.
But as I said, there was the incident with Fura Ugly, which ultimately spelled his end as he tore through Gums' stomach from the inside, ripping the monster in half. And let me tell you, Fur Ugly didn't get his name by accident. Literally everything about this monster is as ugly as it can be. He's a walk-in insecurity complex, a hatefueled brick of beef that turned pure jealousy into a weapon. From the second he waddles onto your screen, you can tell this is about to be one of the most unlikable characters you've ever had the unfortunate circumstances of laying eyes upon. And yet, he's convinced that he's the monster king.
Moreover, his hatred of beauty is so severe that when he finds Ami Mask, the pretty boy of the hero association, he doesn't just want to win, he wants to annihilate. as ugly hates him the most and proves it by caving his face in with a single punch before then ripping the man in half which is pretty ironic because fur ugly is the other half to a my mask he is the other side of that coin both of them were born out of the same curse of self-hatred both started as ugly insecure men who couldn't accept themselves and both became monsters as a result of that obsession but where a my mask rejected his ugliness and warped himself into beauty fewer ugly embraced his ugliness until it consumed him. One denied the truth and became a dreamy idol. The other accepted the truth and became a walking nightmare. He literally became the furer, the president OF UGLINESS. >> DISGUSTING. >>
With his body and mind reflecting that, he even proposed a kill contest to the other cadre. See who could rack up the most dubs against the heroes. And it's clear to see why. Because he's no slouch despite how he looks. In fact, how he looks isn't even always the same. Ugly is able to mutate and grow, subsequently making himself stronger as a result of the humiliation of being Ugly to fuel that power further. As a result, he's able to wipe the floor with many heroes before then emerging in his ugliest, most twisted form of them all.
Because inside the digestive hell that is Gums was the birth of vomited fura ugly. His entire body was coated in a corrosive bile. And so goes without saying that you do not want to touch this guy. He will melt through you without any issue. Even Dark Shine's fists aren't safe. Likewise with Atomic Samurai's blades. The guy who's the worst off though has to be Zani as his face is straight up liquefied. Actually, maybe he's not worse off because I can't forget Amahare who dissolved on contact. I mean, either way, it's not great. And again, like with Gums, not even your allies are safe from hunger as Ugly gobbles up a few black sperm to stabilize his crumbling body as a permanent protein source.
Thankfully, this marks the end of Fur Ugly because Black Sperm ultimately fuses and becomes golden sperm to become immune to Ugly's corrosive body and land a punch. Even Homeless Emperor joins in on the foot with the two giving the monster a fat L. He tries to get revenge later by trying to kill Bang, but Garos sple blitzes him in less than a second, resulting in the killer blow I have been waiting so many chapters for.
Now, let's rewind to Black Sperm for a minute, shall we? Because yes, this monster is literally JUST SPERM. A E. [screaming] >> HE LOOKS NOTHING like a dragon level threat, but that changes when you realize that every cell in his body can split into more copies of himself, and every copy is just as strong, fast, and vicious. My guy is a literal one-man army who believes he's superior to everyone, even Lord Orochi, the Monster King himself.
However, when we first see him in real action against Atomic Samurai, Black Sperm is sliced apart hundreds of times only to keep multiplying. For someone like Atomic Samurai, it's a complete lose-lose. If not for Tatamaki saving his ass, Bro would have been cooked. In spite of this, the Tornado of Terror also yanks up the entire Monster Association base, bringing Lil Spunk Boy up to the top. There, Bro holds back a my mask, allowing Fura Ugly to crush his entire skull in on itself. He also formed a wall of clones to block Bang and Jennos from getting to Tatsamaki and Tacttop Master to safety.
Things are different though when Dark Shine rage baits Black Sperm because that is the monster's biggest weakness. He hates being underestimated more than death itself, which is why he fused to become Golden Sperm. In this new form, he also one taps Dark Shine, who is mobbed by sperm in both muscles and shine. And bear in mind that even with golden sperm, there is still a total of 449 bill100,712,554 remaining black sperms.
In spite of this, Bro is humbled when Atomic Samurai gets a power boost from the Sunblade and manages to slice off Golden Sperm's arm, which by the way, that alone was 12 trillion sperm cells strong. But even then, had it not been for the arrival of King, he'd have still killed Atomic Samurai and his crew then and there. Furthermore, the calmness of the world's strongest hero terrified Sperm because it mirrors the one thing he can't understand. Confidence without ego. And so, he vowed to kill King.
As a result, the over 11 trillion black sperms merged with the 43 trillion of golden sperm to bring about their pet form. However, this is actually a bit of a sad process. You see, when the sperm cells merge, well, of course, there can only be one winner. It's not a sperm race, but a sperm fight to become the sole consciousness of the monster that is to be born, which in this case is platinum sperm. That being said, 100 black sperm detach as an insurance policy so that no matter what, they can survive this battle. And rightfully so, because what comes next is no easy fight.
Firstly, he tells Kings to use his ultimate hellfire burst wave motion cannon, promising to rip his head off before he can fire, but is interrupted when Grow speed blitzes the battlefield. Now, it doesn't take long for Sperm to land his own speed blitz, though, as then the two of them, plus Flashy Flash, get into a battle so fast that they create a literal constellation in the sky for all to see. First to drop is the S-class hero himself as he's completely outmatched by Platinum Sperm before him and Gro then trade hundreds of hits in just 1.3 milliseconds only for the hero hunter to then blitz straight through his torso, littering the battlefield with platinum sperm like a bukkakei.
But as I said, there was a contingency plan in place just for this very scenario. But what the remaining Black Sperm probably didn't account for though was becoming Saitama's pet monkey, sneakily living with him until he grew stronger alongside Rover, who by the way, before being a Baldi's best friend, was a literal guard dog from hell. From the very moment we foresee him in action, you can tell that Rover is built different as he straight up nukes Grow to the point that he accepts death. The same, however, can't be said for his next opponent, Saitama.
Because despite firing off another barrage of blasts, shaking the entire Monster Association base, Saitama dodges, tells the pup to sit, then punches Rover once. That single interaction rewired my guy's brain forever because later when Bang and Bomb were getting blitzed by Rover's energy blasts. Bang asked him to sit and he does. Even Orochi was confused by how Saitam managed to strike fear and control into overgrown Rover. And so after the monster association is defeated, Rover becomes well regularsized Rover. I guess nobody really knows how or why other than the fact that it was needed for what happened next to make sense because he's adopted by Saitama, who is a great dog dad, may I say.
As when they arrive at the new hero association apartments, Dr. Before's robots detect Rover and Black sperm as monsters and open fire. However, the caped baldy protects his new friends by destroying these crazy expensive defense robots instantly. Also, like his daddy, there was a time where Fabuki tried recruiting Rover into the Blizzard group because who doesn't she trying to recruit at this point? But bro quickly returned home where he lives out most of his days now in his little doghouse, being babysitted by Forte and his group after they witnessed the true strength of Saitama. And who can blame them because the power of Saitama is crazy. In fact, nobody comes close other than, albeit only momentarily, Grow under the influence of God's power.
That being said, the Hero Hunter wasn't the first character to utilize the power of God himself. Bringing me onto Homeless Emperor. He was no martial arts, prodigy, or anything of the sorts. However, he was simply a bum trying to keep the lights on. His life was changed forever when his boss forced him to strip as a joke at the welcome party. Then before he knew it, homeless emperor became well exactly that, homeless. More than that, he was also labeled as a sexual harasser, resulting in his job, career, and life to be ruined completely.
And so he began to hate humanity's cruelty and selfishness until one day while staring at the sky, he realized how small and meaningless humanity was compared to the vast beauty of nature. It was almost liberating to him. However, that thought then curdled into despair as he watched people destroy the planet for their own gain. Thus, Homer's Emperor decided that the only way to return to nature was through death. And so, he prepared the rope. But it was at that moment [music] that God appeared. He shared Homer's Emperor's outlook on humanity and desired their eradication, believing them to be a plague on this planet. And so, God blessed him with divine power in order to cleanse it. Suddenly, the man with nothing left to live for had every reason to kill.
And he does that by totally erasing things out of existence using energy manipulation. It is such a powerful technique that even Black Sperm was taken back by it. But that's not all. The little guy also noticed that Homeless Emperor himself doesn't expel any energy when using his powers, begging the question of its true source. Now, we of course know that to be God, but how does that work? Well, Marata confirmed that homeless emperor shares his energy power with another character, vaccine man. Coincidence? I think not. He was a monster created to also destroy the plague on this planet. He was supposed to be the vaccine for humanity. And it stated that vaccines mana energy manipulation was the accumulation of biological energy naturally present on Earth. explaining why Homer's Emperor doesn't use up any energy himself, which is good because his actual physical capability is just that of a normal guy.
Therefore, who should somebody that can insta kill someone endlessly without using up any power battle? Obviously, someone who can never die, Zombie Man. In spite of this, even the S-class hero knew that Homeless Emperor was way too strong, which is how he ended up joining the Donut Club. Luckily for Zombie Man though, Tanamaki lifted the entire Monster Association HQ up out of the ground, splitting the two from each other, at least for a little bit.
Because once Homeless Emperor locks eyes with Zombie Man from a distance, he was ready for round two. And again, it didn't look good for the hero. As on the ground, Homeless Emperor was able to go all out without having to worry about his energy spheres destroying the base's foundation. A power that Child Emperor sees firsthand. However, there is someone that can cancel out Homer's Emperor's power, or at least something that can. as Atomic Samurai cuts through it with the Sunblade. I mean, Homeless Emperor couldn't believe it. And the crazy part was his day was only about to get worse from that [music] exact moment because then King arrived. And with him being the king of frauds, he inadvertently exposed Homer's Emperor's secret. You see, he vowed to expose the real King. Now, believing that to mean that Homeless has seen through King's Facade, the hero muttered to himself that I'm just an ordinary human. However, Homeless only hears ordinary human and believes that King has just una reversed him and revealed his fraudulent secret.
Nonetheless, Zombie Man puts an end to his embarrassment by pinning him to the ground, demanding to know where Homeless Emperor's powers really come from. But before he could reveal it, God pops up on the moon and sucks the power back out of him, killing Homeless on the spot.
He's not the only member of the Monster Association to have had a run-in with God, however. Because you see, back in high school, Syikos was the vice president of the Supernatural Research Society and close friends with Fabuki. But everything changed when in Psychos' quest to get stronger, she researched how to open her third eye. This was the same ability that Prophet Shibaboa used to see the future. However, the future Psycho sees was one drowned in human corruption. Of course, the source of this vision was none other than God. And so, at just 17, Sycos declared that humanity needed to be wiped out, forcing Fabuli to seal her powers with a kiss.
Inspire this, Syos began working on pushing the boundaries of human evolution, an attempt to break a person's limiter by pushing the body past the point of death over and over again until that person unlocked explosive strength. And she stopped at nothing to try and achieve this, by the way. forced cannibalism, blood and cell transfusions, breeding experiments, endless torture. For her, this horror was just simply data. One step closer to her real goal, ultimately giving birth to Lord Orochi.
But in order to communicate with such a powerful monster, as well as other monsters in the Monster Association, Syos had to keep her true identity a secret. She would control a remote meat puppet named Goruguro from deep within the depths of the headquarters, unbeknownst to anyone. But ultimately, the Geroga facade was put to a swift end by Tanamaki. Seconds later, the tornado of terror then locked onto Syos' location 1,500 meters down with her psychic sense and began crushing her. Realizing that if she didn't do something soon, she was cooked. Syos downed a psychic enhancement potion and headed off to face Tatsumaki herself. But it wasn't even close. And had it not been for Lord Orochi, she would have been handed the elf right then and there.
However, before I move on to Psychos' simply insane transformation and powerup, we should probably talk about the monster king himself. He is a fierce creature. He straight up scared Dr. Poy from even joining in on the monster association raid. He also gave Grow the order to bring back the head of a hero in order to join them. However, he returned as a failure. And so, Orochi engages Grow in what is well and truly less a fight and just more of a slaughter. As we got a look at Orochi's released form, Grow tried to adapt to it, but every move he made, Orochi read instantly. The monster mirrors Grow's flowing water rock smashing fist perfectly after seeing it just once, ultimately knocking the hero hunter unconscious.
It was from one Limitless Fighter to another, though, as Orochi's next opponent was Saithammer. And that's when the realization hits that this is the bozo who killed Gettu and Elder Centipede. However, instead of fear, Orochi felt excited that he could finally have a worthy fight. He believed that Saitama would be the perfect human to sacrifice for his true resurrection.
Now, what is this resurrection? Well, let me explain. Because when Orochi realizes he's hit the jackpot, he drags Saitama deep down towards the earth's core, revealing his true form. A form that just so happens to resemble a creature on an ancient mural. On it was a prophecy stating that when a worthy sacrifice is offered, our god shall resurrect on this earth. Convinced that this was fate, Orochi believed that he was the one chosen to become that god. From then on, he simply went along with Guruguro's leadership and ideas while secretly searching for sacrifices to fulfill what he saw as a divine resurrection.
Thus, Orochi transforms into a more humanoid shape, unleashing a barrage of attacks against Saitama, powered by the literal core of the earth, erupting volcanoes across the country. As one would expect though, the caped baldy just blitzes it. That being said, that's not the worst thing that happened to Orochi at that moment because the damage from their battle caused the cave to crumble in on itself, revealing the rest of the mural. And the creature that Arrochi believed to be himself as god was nothing more than the actual ultimate sacrifice for the real god. And I must say it is no coincidence at all that created Orochi after receiving visions of the future from God. She was 100% subconsciously influenced.
Nonetheless, death doesn't stick for Orochi as his remains begin crawling back together, absorbing every monster unfortunate enough to be in his way. Then when he senses Saigos fighting Tatsumaki, he launches himself at her, engulfing her body in his biomass to try and consume her entirely. All whilst she tries to do the same to gain the power to defeat Tatsamaki, with the two then ultimately fusing into one being known as Syoschi. But it was in that moment that she laid eyes upon what looked like a giant cosmic brain. It was God. From then on, Saigos accepted her destiny and overpowered Orochi's will, seizing control of their new body. And for a moment, her god-like strength eclipsed Tatsumakis until a single stray punch from Saitama vaporized a rogue part of Orochi's body.
This gave the tornado of terror the chance to rip the base up out of the ground. Like I said, forcing Syrochi up to the top. This meant she could go all out, though, with her crazy level of power literally cutting through the Earth's crust. Rest in peace to the guys animating that, I guess. Before she realizes it though, Tatsumaki has infiltrated her body through one of Orochi's tendrils and began twisting her flesh apart from the inside. Eventually, after Janos provides a bit of backup, Tatsumaki squeezes most of the blood out of the monster until God himself steps in. We literally see the story focus on the moon just as Tatsumaki coughs up blood and has a laps in concentration, giving Sirochi a chance to separate into a monster jet.
Inspire this. Enter Drive Knight. He follows after her in an insane chase where eventually all of the S-class heroes team up to capitalize on a weakened Cyrochi, eventually splitting the two beings from each other. From there, the remainder of Orochi was ironically used as a sacrifice for Sage Centipede, while Saigos was captured by an evil esper organization called Sukiyomi. By this point, she was a shell of her former self though, with Tatsumaki bursting in ready to kill her once and for all. In spite of this, Saitama stood up to protect her whilst Fabuki took Syikos to safety in order to finally get to the bottom of God after peering into her mind following the war, learning that he had been haunting her.
