So, where does this tradition come from? Saturnelia, a Roman Greek festival where gifts would be exchanged to celebrate the pagan god Saturn. And that is complete nonsense. Saturnelia was on December 17th, and there's no evidence it lasted all the way to the 25th. Historians have pointed out the reason Christmas is on December 25th is because early Christians believed that Jesus would die on the same day he was conceived. And they believe that date was March 25th. So just count forward 9 months and you get December 25th.
Gift exchanges happen at numerous holidays and events. It's a general human custom. There's no evidence that Christians borrowed giftgiving from Saturnelia. The practice of giving gifts on Christmas did not become popular until around the 1800s. And again, it's just a general human custom, not something that had to come from paganism.
The evergreen tree, worshiped for immortality and eternal life, but you know it as the Christmas tree. The first mention of a Christmas tree is in 1419. And no historian who has studied the matter says it goes back to ancient pagan worship. The Christmas tree is either just a European folk tradition or they morph from paradise trees. The traditional feast day of Adam and Eve is December 24th. And in the Middle Ages, they would celebrate this with an Adam and Eve play where they would decorate an evergreen tree with apples. And some historians suggest that is the origin of the Christmas tree. Therefore, it would have an entirely Christian origin.
This is devil worship disguised as religion. So protect your family and don't get caught lacking.
That's right, folks. If you decorate a pine tree, you're worshiping the devil. Muslim logic. Imagine believing in such a weak god that you're scared of trees.
