Listen, people are still rocked by Charlie Kirk's assassination and martyrdom. And that's probably a good thing.
The worst thing that could happen is for us to forget, to get so busy that there's no effect that his life in some ways would be forgotten, would be a tragedy. But Charlie taught us that taking a stand for what you believe is not only a God-given passion that the Lord put within us, but it's the right thing to do.
And notice this, truth always is able to argue and to defend its point. Yes, you heard me right. Argue. When I say argue, I mean the ability to present and to debate and to reason. I don't mean argue to be ugly. The only time we argue and get ugly is when we don't have an argument for what we believe. And then we turn hostile. Why? Because we wind up losing words and not having the ability to defend the silliness that we believe.
So listen, when people yell, scream, and throw firebombs, it's because they don't have an argument. They just have an insane passion. Know what it is that you believe. And like Charlie, I pray like myself and like you that what we believe will prove in time to be biblically based because biblically based truth is the only truth there is.
