New Chinese Xiaomi AI Mimo Pro. So, Mimo Pro just went to number one on the world's biggest AI platform and nobody knew who built it. So, for a whole week a mystery AI model called Hunter Alpha sat at the top of Open Router. Developers were obsessed. Was it Deep Seek? Was it a secret Open AI project? Nobody knew. And then Xiaomi, the smartphone company, stood up and said, "That was us."
The model processed over 1 trillion tokens whilst completely anonymous. Developers chose it over every other AI in the world, especially for Open Claw, without knowing who made it. That's how good it was. It was called Mimo V2 Pro. It was built specifically for AI agents, not for chatting, for actually doing work inside your business. And right now, this week only, it's completely free inside Open Claw.

Open Code allows you to use it for free and you can also get access inside it for Kilo Code, right? So, you can get free right now inside Kilo Code and Kilo Claw the latest models. But, basically what you want to know here and what you want to understand here is like, you know, Xiaomi's secret AI model just beat Claude Sonic 4.6 at coding and it's completely free, right? Nobody saw this coming. Like, 1 week ago a mystery AI model just appears on Open Router. Nobody knows who built it or where it came from. It had no name. Just said it was called Hunter Alpha. Went to number one on Open Router for a whole week. Processed over a trillion tokens and then now it's revealed as Xiaomi Mimo V2 Pro.
Now, you might be wondering, "Okay, what is this in plain English?" Well, pretend you've never heard of any of this before. Xiaomi is a company from China and you probably know them for like making smartphones. But, now they're building AI models that compete with Open AI, Anthropic, and Google. And their new model, Mimo V2 Pro, just came out of nowhere and shocked the entire world. Now, here's what makes it different. It is built for AI agents. That's what it's designed to do. And it's a genetic model. That means it can use tools. It can run workflows. It can write full applications. It can complete step-by-step tasks and actually move things forward, not just talk about moving forward, right? Um so, if you want to get access to this, let me show you how it works, right? You can actually go over to something called Kilo AI, right? And then if we sign in over here, you can see that we're logged in, right? And so, if we now go to, for example like uh Cloud Agent or for example Kilo Claw, we can start using this, right? So, we can get started with this. Now, you can also use the free plan. So, if we go to get started on the free plan here, we can set up Kilo Claw. And then also what we can do here is we can download Kilo Code, right? If you've never used this before, let me show you how to do it. So, we just set up an instance like that and then we can start using Kilo Claw with this free model um directly here.
Now, the other way we can get access to this is with Open Code, right? So, Open Code allows you to use it for free as well, right? So, if you want to download this, you can go to open code.ai/download. Um this is actually a really cool app. Like, Open Code, I've used it many times before. It's super powerful. It's easy to use, quite intuitive. So, let me show you an example of how this works. So, this is Open Code, right? And you get free access to it. And then once you've done that, you can just open up a project. So, let's say for example we'll create a new website. It's an example here. Open this folder up. And now we can start coding locally, right? Now, you can see over here on the drop-down, right? If you click at the bottom, you can select which models you want to use. So, for example here, if we type in Mimo, you can see you can get access to Mimo V2 Omni Free, Mimo V2 Pro Free. And you can also get MiniMax MT 1.5 Free, which is pretty cool, too. Uh but, we're going to go with V2 Pro, right? So, now if we wanted to create something with this, what we can actually do over here is we could run an example prompt, right? So, if we go to Open Code and we paste this information like so, then we'll say create a beautiful, fun website for the AI Profit Boardroom community. See below. Let's copy to add. Now, basically it's going to take that information and that prompt and and literally it's just one prompt that we're using, right? It's pretty simple. It's going to use that and start to build with Open Code using this new Chinese AI, Mimo V2, right? And so, it's beginning to build out right here. And that's how easy it is to get free access to this stuff. It's pretty cool.
Now, you might be wondering, "Okay, what are the numbers like on this? How does it work in terms of the numbers?" So, whilst this is building out, let me talk you through that and how it works. So, it has over 1 trillion parameters, right? Uh it also has 1 million token context window. So, it can read and remember huge amount of information. It was ranked eighth globally on Artificial Intelligence Index, which is a third-party independent benchmark. It ranked number one as a price tier on Artificial Analysis. SWE bench score, it scored 78. Bear in mind that Claude Sonic 4.6 scored 79.6, so they're very, very close. It topped Open Router's daily charts for multiple days as the anonymous Hunter Alpha. And it's super easy to use. All right. So, that's basically how to to start using this and get access for free. And then bear in mind as well, we've now got Kilo Claw running with this API, too, right? So, we can get free access to Open Claw using all of these different models, but the one that we want to focus on here is Mimo, right? There's actually um something called Mimo V2 Flash as well, which is free to access as well, right? But, so you can basically set up Kilo Claw in one click. You know, it took about a minute or 60 seconds to get that set up. It's free to use up to certain limits. And then you can just check out the the free APIs with Mimo and Xiaomi's assistant right here. So, if we say, "Hey, you working?" you can see that it replies pretty quickly and we've now got that set up working right there, right? So, that's basically how it works step-by-step.
So, let me talk you through the whole process and how it works, right? This This is a framework to think about how Mimo V2 Pro can work inside your business. It has four layers. So, you've got layer number one, which is the brain, right? So, this is Mimo V2 Pro itself. The model does the thinking, right? Most people just use AI to chat, but this can use it as a thinking engine, right? And it was specifically trained for this to handle multi-step reasoning, to use tools, to use tools like Open Claw specifically. Then you've got the tools themselves. So, it needs a brain to think with. So, for example, inside Open Claw or Open Code, you can connect to Mimo V2 Pro to your website, your files, your web search, your your email if you wanted to, your automation workflows, your spreadsheets and databases. And then you've got layer number three, which is the workflow itself, right? So, this is where the magic happens. And a workflow is just a sequence of tasks that happen automatically.
