[Music] Hello, my name is Myriam Payer and I am a breeder at Sainte Hermine. I have been established since September 1st, 2007, with Macrojune, a collaborator on the site that began welcoming pigeons in 2018. We have 5,630 parent breeders, all from Grimaud Selection, and that's not by chance. The work objective is to have a pigeon that is always in line with what the consumer expects. So, it will be Tuesday, then Honorine, to meet a calibration criterion and the meat quality that is sought after. The objective is also to have a number of squabs that is satisfactory for the breeders to live on, because even if our objective was to work with them, it is also to be able to live from it. And so, with good selection, we manage to have animals that allow us to have the desired production. I met Grimaud Selection during my first job when I arrived in Vendée in 2000. So, my knowledge in my breeding contacted me full-time. It's a relationship that has always been there. Grimaud Selection, breeding pigeons, it's a real job, and it's not a job for just anyone. I can afford to do it. One must get rid of the preconception that it costs much more. I hope that buying a pair of breeders from a geneticist will cost us much more. For me, since 2001, it is essential to continue working with a geneticist, even for renewal, because they will bring us stability in terms of caliber that we would not have by selecting ourselves. Working with a geneticist is not for everyone. Here we have our production parks with the Mourtis, with the three variants: a small white, Libertis, colored by Mairy, on the advice of Rancuneans, but also on our own will. But that represents only a very small part, which we would like to see grow a little to be able to reach the local consumer a bit more, and for me, to make known this breeding which is poorly known and misunderstood. I advise breeders not to hesitate to use Grimaud Selection genetics. Go see, touch, look, visit the farms. Honestly, go visit. The breeders are always very open to opening their doors. Go see the pigeons, and you will understand them. [Music]
