BREAKING: Trump STUNS the world with Greenland announcement

For anyone who thought that Donald Trump couldn't possibly be serious about his idea to try and annex Greenland, he just took to choose social writing. We have subsidized Denmark and all of the countries of the European Union and others for many years by not charging them tariffs or any other form of renumeration. Now, after centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back.

World peace is at stake. China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it. They currently have two dog sleds as protection, one added recently. Only the United States of America under President Donald J. Trump can play in this game and very successfully at that. No one will touch this sacred piece of land, especially since the national security of the United States and the world at large is at stake.

On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Netherlands and Finland have journeyed to Greenland for purposes unknown. This is a very dangerous situation for the safety and security and survival of our planet. These countries who are playing this very dangerous game have put a level of risk in play that is not tenable or sustainable. Therefore, it is imperative that in order to protect global peace and security, strong measures be taken so that this potentially perilous situation end quickly and without question.

Starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above mentioned countries, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, and Netherlands, and Finland will be charged a 10% tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1st, 2026, the tariff will be increased to 25%. This tariff will be due and payable until such time as a deal is reached for the complete and total purchase of Greenland.

The United States has been trying to do this transaction for over 150 years. Many presidents have tried and for good reason, but Denmark has always refused. Now, because of the Golden Dome and modern-day weapon systems, both offensive and defensive, the need to acquire is especially important. Hundreds of billions of dollars are currently being spent on security programs having to do with the dome, including for the possible protection of Canada. And this very brilliant but highly complex system can only work at its maximum potential and efficiency because of angles, meats, and bounds if this land is included in it.

The United States of America is immediately open to negotiation with Denmark and/or any of these countries that have put so much at risk despite all that we have done for them, including maximum protection over so many decades. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

All of which is to say, Donald Trump does seem serious about his intent to try and annex not just a sovereign country, but one of our own NATO allies. And the way he's trying to do that is by imposing tariffs, 10% and then 25% that, by the way, Americans will have to shoulder for the nth time. Tariffs on foreign countries are a tax on Americans. We pay more. So Trump is making our own consumer goods more expensive for us as a way to exert pressure to ultimately be able to squander even more of our tax dollars, not on Americans, but on purchasing a country that we do not need.

I mean, think about that. Donald Trump ran an entire campaign predicated on this idea that he was going to be the president who would finally finally look after the little guy right here at home. He understood your pain and your problems. That life here in America was unaffordable. He would bring down groceries and rent and housing. He would protect and expand health care, make IVF free. He would defend earned benefits. All lies. He is spending your money on foreign wars to enrich oil companies and ushering in imperialism 2.0 because he wants to feed his ego.

Consider also the lunacy of that argument that we need to annex Greenland because Russia or China will invade if we don't. Greenland is owned by Denmark, which is a NATO country. Meaning, if a foreign adversary like China or Russia invades, they will face the wrath of the entirety of NATO. That's article 5. That is the whole point of keeping NATO intact and not undermining it by having one NATO country invade another. And Donald Trump was asked about exactly that point. Here's what he had to say.

>> On NATO right now, it sounds like you are saying that you would potentially acquire Greenland by force. That would be a NATO country. The United Are Are you saying that? Would you do that?

>> No, you're saying that.

>> Would you force?

>> No, you're telling me that that's what I'm going to do. You don't know what I'm going to do.

>> So, what are the options?

>> Your network doesn't know anything.

>> The the Danish foreign minister said that there's still fundamental differences after the meeting with Rubio and with the vice president. Are you willing to uh leave the NATO alliance in order to get what you want with Greenland? What are the options right now?

>> I wouldn't be telling you what I'm willing to do. Certainly, I'm not going to give up options. But it's very important. Greenland's very important for the national security, including of Denmark.

>> And the problem is there's not a thing that Denmark can do about it if Russia or China wants to occupy Greenland. But there's everything we can do. You found that out last week with Venezuela. There's everything we can do about things such as that. Not going to happen. Uh we're not, you know, I can't rely on Denmark being able to fend themselves off. You know, they were talking about they put an extra dog and they were serious about this. They put an extra dog sled there last uh month. They added a second dog sled. That's not going to do the trick.

Again, Greenland might not have adequate military strength, but it doesn't need it because they are protected by NATO. So, it would make sense to strengthen NATO, not usher in its demise by having one NATO country invade and annex another, which by the way would be a green light for foreign adversaries to invade any country after that once NATO is effectively killed. Trump may very well be sparking off World War II because he thinks it sounds cool to engage in imperialism and pad his legacy. And yet, if you're wondering why he perseveres anyway, it's because these are the kinds of people he surrounds himself with.

I heard the meeting with well with Secretary of State Rubio. Does that mean they're open to having that discussion and I think making the right decision partnering with us? Well, there there were there were positive early talks. We don't want to get ahead of the process, but President Trump has been clear in saying that he wants the United States to control Greenland. That is the American position. And you would think that our allies in NATO again who we keep safe with our missile shield, our nuclear shield, with our special forces, our troops, our soldiers, our intelligence, our submarines. Again, American tax dollars are keeping Europe safe and free from every adversary in the world. You would think that they would want to support America in this matter, and I hope they do, Sean. And President Trump is finally standing up for America and the world. You see it in the Western Hemisphere. You [music] see it all around the planet. It's America first.

Sean, the next time any Republican clutches their pearls when somebody like me calls them fascists, show them this. This is an administration full of fascist tyrannical desperates engaging in the same disgusting practices as all of the autocratic regimes of the past. The ones that have been relegated to the dust bin of history. There is no doubt in my mind which side the Steven Millers and Donald Trump's of the world would be on if this was the 1930s. And let's be clear, Trump is not doing himself any favors at home. In a stunning new poll, only 17% of Americans approve of acquiring Greenland, and only 4% approve of doing so by force. Even the US Congress has a higher approval rating than that. And that's really difficult. And yet, this is the perfect microcosm for Trump's priorities. feed his supporters a bill of goods and then leave them high and dry once he's actually in a position to do something about it. And it's not just right here at home.

Here's what Greenland looks like today as a major protest is taking place in the capital. Relax. Sorry. I was also looking forward >> [music] >> are in the United States of America to respect.

I'm going to be honest here. I never thought that I would see the day when my country, the United States, becomes a pariah on the international stage where rather than advocate for democracy and sovereignty, we take it away. I also hope that the international community resists this effort and does not engage in a race to the bottom where all big countries can invade and annex smaller ones. My message to foreign countries, let him impose the tariffs. It is a small price to pay to defend democracy here and abroad. And frankly, it is Americans who are going to pay those higher prices, and that's going to have political consequences on Trump's own administration. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot economically, let them. And finally, to the rest of the world, know that the majority of Americans do not support this and in fact despise this administration more than even you do. I know that this may ring hollow right now, but this is not who America is. You might not believe that today, but we're going to prove it. [music]

But second, the reality is that we are now in a political environment where this administration can lean on any of the social media platforms to suppress certain voices if they don't like critical coverage. That means my longevity here is in the hands of a few tech billionaires who are already making it clear that they are willing to cater to this administration.
